That Woman
Aman always loved to walk in the nature.Nature had always helped him in keeping himself calm.Aman went outside to enjoy it.Everyday he walked on beach.Actually beach was not that far away from his home.He just loved to watch sunrise because sunset was out of question for him due his busy schedule.For Aman nature was best part of his life.Then he suddenly saw a small girl came running in beach.She was happily dancing there with joy.At first Aman thought that she was alone then he noticed that her Mom was with her.Her Mom was carrying all the tools required for digging in the sand.That small girl must had big plan of this digging.Aman started observing her because she reminded him of his niece who was always apple of his eye.But his niece was more big now.This girl was still small. Aman loved watching her dancing with tides.Until he noticed her Mom was searching for something.He was confused.What did he suppose to do offering help seemed right still talking to an unknown lady like this didn't look good.He just kept watching her.Then he saw that she just left the beach and left that small girl alone in sea.Now Aman was shocked.How did that lady leave her daughter like that.He started screaming.But he didn't know her name so he just made strange sound to attract her attention.But that woman just went away.Then he suddenly thought that his assumption might be wrong.That small girl was not related to that lady so he just stopped on that spot.Then he continued his walking.Just again and again his eyes went to that small girl.Finally he started running then he suddenly heard crying of small girl.She was crying for her mother.But that lady was long gone.
That small girl was crying by now some people had came to beach for jog so there was small crowd gathered around her.Aman entered in the crowd.A policeman was there.Policeman "Any one who saw her mother?"Aman was confused.He wanted to help that girl.But he didn't like idea of getting involved with police.After all he was already late and Policework need lot of time.But then he saw that little girl's face and anxiousness of that Policeman's face.He began to feel shame for his selfishness and he came out like a good citizen."Inspector I saw her.I even tried to stop her.But she didn't stop.""Then you should have called me that moment only.So you know this girl?""No.""Then how did you recognize her mother?""She came after her.""I want proper information.I don't want nonsense.Come on kid.Come with me in Police station.I will find your mother."Then that Police left with that child.While going he looked at Aman.As if he was just pain in his neck.Aman got angry with this and decided to never help any police again.Aman started jogging away.That day he reached at office little bit late.He had hear many angry remarks from his boss.When he returned to his desk,he started working.But his mind kept on that woman.He was sure that she was with that small child.Then he suddenly remembered those digging things.If that woman was not with that girl,why did a elder person need these things?If only he had remembered it when he was talking to that Policeman.But sadly it was too late.But that small girl's image remained in his mind.
Next day once again he went out.He was jogging like he normally do.But his eyes were searching for that woman.That woman suddenly became his obsession. After all he got insulted about it.He wanted to prove himself right so every time he jogged.It became his habit to search for that little girl and that woman.But nothing happened finally one day he decided it was enough and slowly he began to forget them.Then after some days his phone rang.His Niece Geeta called him"Uncle how are you?""Fine."Aman knew Geeta very well.He was sure next question would be about taking her to movie.Aman was very confused regarding Geeta.At one side she made her happy with her innocent behaviour and on other side he felt that she was a responsibility due to her childish demand.But any way he could not avoid her.If she wanted to come,she would come.No thing could stop her so he waited for her demand."Uncle can you take me to new cartoon movie?"Aman was sure answer had to be 'Yes' because if he gave some excuse,Geeta would just plan for some other day.He decided that instead of putting today's work on next day.It was better to done today only.Some times movies were really nice so he gave up without argument.Geeta was very happy now so it was decided that Aman supposed to bring Geeta that day on evening and then next day he would take her to movie.Aman's Saturday and Sunday got booked.That day Aman went to take ticket of film.He got best seats.
When Geeta came whole house turned according to her will.Aman started T.V.But programmes should be of her choice.But Aman really didn't mind nowadays.He didn't felt much interest in T.V. except his one suspense serial.He was not much interested in other crying soups.In those serial each character had to marry at least two types.How rubbish?Aman never saw such nonsense in real life.Only few people get divorce in India and their remarriage was not a easy task.You just couldn't marry like that.Once you committed one person,you had to stick it for some years.Aman knew that such easy divorce never permitted in our court.But after all it was T.V. Here person could be witch or vampire.But still he preferred witch and vampire over these half baked truth.But Geeta's cartoon he really didn't mind just a innocent entertainment.Aman sat with her and enjoyed them.But her game irritated him.He just didn't enjoy those girl's games.Then after sometime she began to complaint that she was getting bore so now he had to do his worst job.He had to search new ways to entertain her.Suddenly Aman thought about beach.He suggested it and Geeta just jumped with joy.Then they went on beach.They started playing when once again Aman noticed a small girl this one was also alone.She sat near them and started watching their play.Aman wanted to ask her some questions.But then he saw that girl was not same.She was just girl of same age.That girl just kept sitting there for sometime.But no elder seemed to be there with her.Finally Aman asked"kid where is your Mom?""Mom is at home."" Then who brought you here?""An Auntie."Now even Geeta sensed some thing was wrong.She stopped playing and came near that girl.Geeta"Where is that Auntie?"That girl turned around as if her Auntie was standing on her backside.Then she got confused.She started searching whole beach.Geeta"Do you know this Auntie?"That girl nodded."Where do she live?""I don't know.But my Mom know her.I saw her to talking to my Mom in market."Now Geeta was shocked as such as Aman.Geeta was little girl.But she was wise enough to know that she should not trust stranger like this.Geeta"Don't know that Auntie personally!!Never been introduced by your Mom to her and still you went away with her!!"Geeta said it in such way as if that girl killed some body and deserved punishment of hanging.Effect was just as expected that small girl started crying.Aman was very scared.He started searching for her mother.He didn't want to seek help once again from that Policeman.But he could not found her.Then he saw a Policeman came running there.At first he thought that he was same Policeman.Then he noticed that he was different.He looked more wise and mature than first one.Aman told him whole story.This one was really nice.He thanked Aman and heard his every word in detail.Policeman"That is very strange.Why did that woman acting like this?""I don't know."Aman didn't mentioned last time incidence because he didn't want to mention that Police to this nice fellow.But he still remembered it very well.They spent long time searching for that girl Nita's Auntie.But sadly that Auntie seemed to be vanish in air.Police"Very strange!Why did that woman brought her here?"Geeta"Now how do you find her mother?"Nita was crying loudly now.That Police was also confused now.Finally Aman decided to tell the whole truth.Aman"Actually few days ago I observed a similar incidence.""What?Didn't you inform Police about it at that time?""I told it but..."Then he described whole incidence."My god how can an officer act like that?Due to attitude of some people all get blamed."Then that Police carefully listened to Aman's description.Police"I just don't understand her motive.If she want to kidnap them, she will not leave then like that I just don't understand it."Finally that Police took Nita with him and Aman returned home with Geeta.
When they returned home,Aman saw Geeta was lost in thought.Aman could clearly see that she was upset regarding the incidence with Nita.Aman"Geeta what happened?""Uncle don't you think we should help Police regarding this thing?""No sweetheart it is quite risk.We don't know the poeple we are dealing with.We will not like to get involved with criminal."After this Geeta kept quiet.But her face was clearly telling that she was not convinced.Geeta"But some day that woman can also hurt us."Aman was very irritated with this thought.He knew that it was truth.But he didn't want to face it.At that moment door bell rang.When Aman opened the door,he saw Policeman was standing at door.He smiled at Aman.Aman told him to come inside.Policeman"Actually we want you to draw that woman's sketch.Will you able to come tomorrow at Police station.""Tomorrow?Sorry I am going on movie.Is it okay if I come day after tomorrow?""Perfectly fine.But don't forget to come."Geeta"Of course he will come.I will remind him."Geeta was smiling now.She was happy that her Uncle was helping Police.Police"Meanwhile if by mistake you see her somewhere don't go near her.Just give me a call on this number."Then Police gave him a number.Police"And remember it.Never go near her.She can be risky."Aman and Geeta both nodded their heads.
Next day they went to picture.They were enjoying the film.Then finally came the interval for snacks.When Aman went in the line,he suddenly noticed that woman.She was same woman.She was standing in the corner as if waiting for some one.Aman thought that it must be another small girl.He totally forgot about snacks and went into corner and phoned that Police.Police told him that he would arrive there immediately.But he also told Aman to keep watch on her.Then Aman saw that this time she was with some man.They seemed to be happily married couple.Aman thought that a appearance could easily deceive you.Then they went inside.Aman saw this.But he decided not to go after them.After all it seemed very risky.Then after long time that Police came there.Sadly for whole time Aman and Geeta missed their film.Then they had to wait outside so that when film was over Aman could identify that woman.There were increase in number of Police now.Due to which Aman was very scared.At first he just didn't locate that woman and other Police began to taunt.When suddenly he saw that woman and man.He pointed at them and they were immediately arrested.That man"My name is Akush and this is my wife Tina.What happened?Why are you arresting us?"But Police just forced them to come to Police station.Then they began to cross examine.After long time finally Tina confessed that she was on beach.But she clearly said that she never took that girls.Akush was irritated now.He began to blame Aman of framing him.Finally Nita and other small girls came.Aman knew two of them.But other were unknown to him.They all recongnized Tina.But Tina just remained stick to her statement.It was worst day of Aman's life.Finally Tina confessed that she was suffering from black outs of some period.Now Akush was confused.Then Police told Aman that he could go home so he went away.
But next day on breakfast table Aman and Geeta were restless.They wanted to know suspense of that story so they decided to phone that nice Policeman.Aman"So what happened why was that woman doing that?For money?""No.She was quite rich.Actually she didn't have child and you know some times society don't accept that easily.She just wanted to have child and she started taking them.Each time when she saw a nice girl child while talking her mother.She just black out and her another personality take over.She began to play with that girl.Then after some time she came to her senses.She saw that she was on beach and get shocked.Then she returned home.She didn't tell her husband this because she thought that he might left her.He was really shocked.Psychiatrist told that she is suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder.They are treating her.May be they will adopt a child?""Good decision.I am so shocked.I thought that such things happen only in films.""Now you saw it by your eyes.""I know.""Life has many things which we don't know until we see by our eyes.Trust me.I saw many in my service."Then he disconnected phone.Aman was sure from heart that he didn't want to see rest of the things that Policeman mentioning.
