After some time Sharvari stopped smiling,Ram was really thinking of quitting that job.Sharvari was shocked to hear this.Sharvari at first thought it was just a joke.But now it began to seem too real.Sharvari"Why do you want to quite jobs?I thought you love your work.""At first I like it.But now I don't want to continue."Now Sharvari sat near Ram."Ram this is a good job and you are working with them for 10 years.Now you are on point of promotion.Why did you want to quite the job?We can't effort financial instability in this condition.Think about our baby."Sharvari moved her hands on her stomach.She was just three months pregnant and she was already tense about her child's future.She once again started thinking.Why suddenly her life turned upside down?Until some days Ram was very caring and practical.He always loved his work.He was very happy to have such nice job.He even never thought of searching new job for better salary.Now he suddenly wanted to quite his job before getting another job.As soon as Sharvari got pregnant,she thought that she should quite her job and pay attention to the baby.She wanted to be full time mother and housewife now.But if Ram would quite his job.She had to stick to her job.Then she thought that her salary was not enough to ran the house.She had to find a job of better salary.She didn't want to do it in this condition.In fact she didn't want to do this in any condition.When she would turn into main earner in family.She knew everyone would began to taunt Ram including his mother.In society no one would expect a husband to sat at home and wife to earn.All people would start talking and taunting.Their married life would be destroyed.She wanted a happy married life.Then suddenly Sharvari thought that another idea.She could ask friends to help Ram to find the job.But until then Ram had to stick the job.She had to make him promise her that. Sharvari"I have an idea.May be I ask Leena to help you yo find the job?"Suddenly Ram smiled.Ram"I got better idea.I will transfer myself to a section where there is less need of traveling."Now that solution meant less salary.In Sharvari's eyes it was a bad idea.Sharvari wanted enough money for her family and her comforts.Until now Sharvri had lived a luxurious life and she was not ready to change it for Ram's wimp.After all she deserved money and luxury as much as her friends and relatives.When she married Ram.It was not just for love.She always thought about his properties and his permanent job.She was not ready to give it away just because Ram hated traveling.Sharvari"Ram you can't quite this job now.We all need this money and if you get less money.We all will suffer."Then she saw Ram's face was changed.There was sorrow and pain in his eyes.She suddenly began to sympathies with him.She began to think how much selfish was her act.Ram was traveling everyday.He was getting exhaust due to over exertion and she was not even thinking about his heart.After all now a days young men were consider to have more risk of heart attack.Sharvari just didn't able to meet Ram's eyes now.Ram"So you don't want a husband who can't provide you luxurious life.All your love is like dew in morning.It just vanish at afternoon.Your love vanish when it has to bear the heat of my problems.After all they are as harsh as sunlight.They all always told me that love is not a permanent thing.But I never kept any believe on them.Now even after seeing this I find it hard to believe it.My Sharvari who is like strong mountain in my life,who is always standing with me is deserting me in the middle of my crisis.I just have to understand practical rules of this world.It always move around the money."Sharvari was confused now.She was about to say that he could quite his job.When doorbell rang and her mother-in-law came inside.Her mother-in-law was always a big problem for her.She always took Ram's side and stood against Sharvari.Joint family system had it's profits and losses.In case of kitchen for Sharvari her mother-in-law was greatest help.She taught Sharvari how to cook.With her help Sharvari started making perfect lunch and dinner due to which she was admired many times.Even now her mother-in-law bought groceries for the kitchen.But in case of bossing her mother-in-law was too much.She didn't accept changes and didn't let other do them.After all it was her house, she had decorated it so redecorating it was stupidity in her eyes.That was the thinking of her mother-in-law Kusumkaki.Kusumkaki always thought that she knew the best and in her view her son was best but his choice Sharvari was worst so when Kusumkaki entered in the house.She thought Kusumkaki would start bombarding on her when she learn about the issue. She suddenly started feeling Ram's mother would stood by her and support her son so Sharvari took her decision in hurry and came on conclusion that she would support Ram.Sharvari"Okay.After listening to you I came on conclusion that you can do as you wish."Ram smiled happily and Kusumkaki didn't hear the issue.Ram took all bags out of Kusumkaki's hand and they both went into kitchen.
So Sharvari said"yes"to her husband.But when he finally brought salary of that month,Sharvari was shocked.Kusumkaki was standing there."Sharvari just this much money?Where is his remaining salary?""Mom he changed the section because he hate traveling.""And you let him do it.What were you thinking about that time?"Inside her mind Sharvari knew at that time she just thinking about Kusumkaki's opinion.At first she was sure that Ram's mother would be on her side.But after listening to Ram she got brainwashed and she thought that they would stood with Ram.Now after hearing Kusumkaki's opinion.She suddenly started feeling her first decision was right.But it was too late.She just didn't understand what was she a selfish woman or stupid woman?Whatever might be her decision the arrow of the blame always turn towards her.She was so frustrated by this.There was no one to tell Ram or blame him.all fingers were just pointed at her.She did her best to solve the problem.But now it seemed wrong again.Sharvari "Mom Ram was not ready to do that job because of traveling.""Traveling?This is a new to me.Since when Ram began to hate traveling?He use to love it since childhood.For where did he get this idea?"Kusumkaki began to look at Sharvari with suspicion."Mom now don't look at me like this.I always needed that money.I would never turn him against traveling.I tried hard to convince him.""But to me it seems as if he convince you more powerfully."Sharvari realized her mistake clearly.She started crying slowly."Now don't cry.I will do something and solve this problem.But I want you to keep quiet."Sharvari nodded her head.Then Kusumkaki started calling Ram.Ram came there."Ram will you take me to our temple in our native place.You use to love to go there.Remember how much you like to play in woods."At first Ram smiled and started looking out of window as if he could see his childhood before his eyes.Then Kusumkaki looked at Sharvari and Sharvari understood her trick.They should encourage Ram to go out there.Then he would once again started loving traveling.It was such a good idea that Sharvari wanted to dance with joy.But then she suddenly noticed Ram's face turned white with fear.It seemed that something destroyed happiness even from his dream.Then he looked upset and scared.Ram"No Mom I don't want to travel.Why don't you take the bus?""You are suggesting that I have to go alone so you no longer care for your Mom.I always heard that when parents get old children began to consider them as a liability.I never thought that one day you will think about me like that."Ram screamed in anger."Mom will you stop it.Mom you never cared about me.Always you wanted this or that.You never had time to think about my feelings.You are self centered that you never cared even about it's effects on me and my wife.Tell me the time when you ever considered taking my opinion."Suddenly Mom got confused and that was the moment Ram took over her."No you never cared.You never let us do anything as per our wishes.Look at colour of walls.Peach ,your favorite when I always hated it.But you never cared.Look at those curtains yellow and orange.Again your favorite colour.You are acting like dictator who want to do everything as per his wish and we have surrender before you every time.Mom it's not fair.Look at Sharvari."Ram pointed at her.Now they both started looking at her.Sharvari could clearly saw.Ram had created impact.He wanted to create.Mom already started feeling guilty."What is her fault?But you never treated her as respectfully because she was not that daughter of your friend whom you wanted me to marry so marrying a girl of my choice is a crime in your eyes.You always cared for yourself only."Now Kusumkaki started crying slowly and whispered"Do as per your wish."Then Ram went away so he even canceled his trip which was taking him to his childhood.
Sharvari was too shocked to say anything at first.She saw how easily Ram turned all guilt towards Kusumkaki.While doing it he used Sharvari in good way.Until now Ram always told her that it was her lifestyle that was upsetting Kusumkaki and she was fully agreed with him because it was truth.But now for his own benefits he was putting all blame on his mother.Kusumkaki was bossy by nature.But now for his own benefits he was putting all on his mother.Kusumkaki were bossy by nature.But she never created any problem regarding accepting her.Sharvari was sure that Kusumkaki should acted in same way.If Ram had married to any other girl.In her eyes Ran was best and there was no girl in the world who could match him.Then she felt that Kusumkaki was crying.She controlled her shock and started talking."What wrong with you Mom?Why are you crying?He is acting in same way with everyone.""What?"It was Kusumkaki's turn to get shocked. "He was also blaming you?""Of course.Then why else do you think I agreed to this stupid idea?He was acting very strange.First he wanted to quite the job fully.But when I forced him.He finally agreed to do this job"Now they began to look in his direction in strange way.
It was hard to manage house in that limited money.But Sharvari was managing it with help of Kusumkaki.Then suddenly one day Ram told them that he wanted to sell their car.Sharvari was shocked to hear it.It was Ram's favorite car.He never let any one touch it.Now he was planning to sell it.Sharvari also wanted that car.She had learn driving and many times she took Kusumkaki in temple with that car.It was not a long drive just one hour distance.That place was so peacefully.Now a day due to pregnancy Kusumkaki told her not to drive.But after some months she expected to start driving again.Sharvari"I want that car.""But you can't drive it now.""But after delivery I can drive.""You want take our baby in that car.No way I don't trust those seat belt of baby seats.No.You can't go out like that."Kusumkaki"Are you all?I always sit in car with her so I can hold your baby properly.We all need a car.I don't let you sell it."After seeing their anger finally Ram quite the idea of selling it.But Ram always watched that car with strange hatred as if that car was his worst enemy.One day finally Sharvari asked Ram"Why are you looking at that car in strange way?""Because I hate her.""But just few days ago you were used to say that car was your first love."Now Ram looked angrily at her."It was past and it was no longer there.In the present I hate that car and you forcibly kept it.I want to get rid of it."Sharvari was shocked by his attitude.That day she wanted to go in market.She was planning to tell Ram to take her there.After all he could drive that much,It was just a five minutes distance.Sharvari"Ram today is your holiday.""Ya so?""I just thought that you might take me in market in our car.""Why car?Let us use Auto.""Come on Ram it's just five minutes distance.Auto is not that comfortable.Can you drive that much?Now don't tell me.You are tired five minutes distance driving can't harm anyone."Ram was still not ready.Before he could argue further.Their troublesome neighbour Kishan came out.He was famous for his taunts and gossiping.Now Ram didn't want to say "no" before him so he started trying to open the door.But he just couldn't about to fit that key in car lock.Suddenly key became too smooth and started slipping out of his hands.When Sharvari and Kishan started looking at him in strange way.He gave them nervous smile."My hand are oily."He answered without being questioned.There was no question about Ram's behaviour.They were just shocked.Finally Kishan picked up the key and opened the car door.Sharvari felt good in that heat because of cold and nice air of air conditioner in car.But then she saw Ram was wet because of his sweat.He was shaking like leaf.Ram was very healthy man.He never had any physical problems so he never did any medical checkup.But after seeing him in that condition Sharvari was sure that he was having heart attack.Kishan also had same feeling so he ran towards Ram."Ram I think it is not right for you to drive in this condition.In fact I think it is not even to safe to walk.Just sleep on this ground.Bhabi I think we have to take Ram to hospital."Sharvari was very scared.Sharvari"Let's go.""Bhabi you can't come with us in this condition.It will harm you and baby.""But.."Then with efforts Ram spoke"Sharvari don't come.Just tell Mom if you are scared to let me go alone...I take Mom"Even his sentences were no longer making any sense because they are not in bigger voice that whisper.But Sharvari knew that he wanted to take Kusumkaki with him.Ram was Mom's boy.
After sometime Ambulance came there.Ram was taken to hospital.Kusumkaki just wandered here and there.She didn't understood what they were doing.But one thing was clear to her.Lot of money was spend on this so Sharvari would no longer able to quite her job.Kusumkaki had to take care of that baby alone.Kusumkaki didn't like that idea.She always thought that at old age she could take some rest.After all whole life was a struggle for her.But you had to accept destiny so Kusumkaki took out her money with help of A.T.M. and completed all formalities.For some days Ram was in that hospital.They did various types of checking on him.But he was fine in every test.They told Sharvari and Kusumkaki.It was happened due to stress.They suggested that Ram should go to psychiatrist so Sharvari and Kusumkaki had to convince this to Ram.As soon as they went inside,they gave Ram a sweet smile.In a hope that it would melt his heart.But when Sharvari suggested psychiatrist.He started screaming on her.Kusumkaki"Your screams are proving Sharvari right.""Mom you too.""Don't you see what happened to you?I still remember those days when you use to drive many miles to just get Sharvari's favorite ice cream and now you are forcing her to do job in this condition just because you wanted to avoid driving.Ask your heart that did you acting like proper father or husband?"Then Ram looked at Sharvari.He was convinced that he had to hold the job."Okay I will go."Then they went psychiatrist.He told Sharvari and Kusumkaki to wait outside."Now let's talk freely.Tell me what are you scared of?""Cars."That word got out of Ram's mouth even before he knew. He really didn't want to confess it.But it just came out of his mouth."What about bus and auto?""Do you think I am mad?Why do I get scared of vehicles?I love every vehicle.But I don't like to drive.""Or you are scared to?Come on you have to trust your doctor."Okay I am scared of driving.After hearing my confession are you happy?""No.Because I like to know the cause."This answer shocked Ram and told him clearly that Doctor would not leave him unless he got the answers."I don't know cause.""Since when it started?"Slowly Ram began to think that way.Ram"I think after I now I am going to be father.""How did your father died?"Ram stammered "He died in accident when my Mom was pregnant with second child.""So you had brother or sister.""None.That baby died after my father's death.It died in Mom's stomach.""Your father were driving his car at that time.""No.But still he shouldn't have killed if he stayed home.""You were in that car.""No.But I heard it all from other people."Then for sometime Doctor wrote something.Then he called everyone inside.Doctor"He is suffering from Situational type phobia regarding driving.It is triggered due to his wife's pregnancy.He related your pregnancy and his father's death with each other so he was scared to drive.""But at that time my husband was not driving.""I know but person's mind is too complicated to understand.Sometimes it skip a details."Doctor smiled."Don't worry.He will be all right."Doctor was true to his word.Ram was fully cured.But for that he had to spend quite big amount so now he had to drive hard and fast in his car to earn the money which was needed for his family.
