Secretary
Ritu saw that young girl entered in her office.She was her new secretary.After remembering her last secretary Ritu was very nervous regarding this one.Her secretary was worst.She never came on time.Always her letters were full of spelling mistakes.She even commented on Ritu's facial beauty and financial situation which was not so good.But it was not bad also.Ritu was making small profits.But after all Ritu needed time to achieve something.What she didn't need was criticisms.But her old secretary was full of them.When she came in the office,Ritu's stomach started giving a strange feeling to her.When that secretary asked for leave Ritu was obliged to give her.Ritu just wanted to throw her out.But union would going to object regarding it.Ritu didn't want to fight with union.Union was always friendly with her.Then Ritu began to notice other staff also had problems with her.Finally one day that girl started asking for increasing her salary.She left the job and that was happiest day of Ritu's life.Now once again after interviews.She got new secretary.Ritu was really nervous about keeping her.But that girl really seemed okay.As soon as she entered in the office her first question was "What work do I suppose to do?"Ritu was surprised by her sincerity.Then she thought that it was just a show off on first day.Ritu"What is your name?""Trupti."Trupti tried to give her best smile.But still some thing was making her nervous.Ritu"Today I will explain you your work.But you have to remember it properly.I am not going to explain you everything every day."Trupti immediately took her notebook and pen.Trupti"Mam now you can explain me.I will write every detail."Ritu smiled at her.She just fall in love with Trupti.Trupti was most accurate girl in the world.Ritu really liked her.She explained Trupti about her work.Many of her letters were not properly draft because of last old secretary.But Trupti was like a bullet.She just started working in speed.Ritu just loved her accuracy.Ritu saw Trupti wanted everything to be perfect.She was carefully setting everything computer.She came to Ritu two types to confirm Ritu really liked it.Then she finally began typing.She was doing it with full dedication.Ritu had never seen such dedication in any staff member.Then slowly Ritu returned back to her normal work.After sometime Trupti brought all letters.Ritu really liked her work.In her heart Ritu thought she found a gem.She truly appreciated Trupti's work.After sometime all office began to leave,Ritu also about to went out of office.When suddenly she turned her attention to Trupti.She saw Trupti was engrossed in her work.Ritu smiled.It was Trupti's first day so her speed was not that fast so she didn't able to finish her work.She was working hard Ritu didn't want to exhaust her after all it's her first day."Trupti."Ritu called her.When Trupti looked up at Ritu.She was literally on verge of crying.Trupti"Sorry Mam I will finish it in 2 minutes."Ritu was shocked to see her nervousness.Her face was very pale.She was scared as if Ritu would kill her.Then Ritu thought Trupti might had completed nothing so she looked at computer and she was shocked to see that Trupti had finished most of her work.Ritu"I think this will be enough.""No Mam.I have to read it twice.""Twice.But why?I don't think you make that much mistakes.""I don't make so much mistakes.But still I want to be more careful.""But I am telling you,it is okay.I have to shut office now so you shall have to leave."Trupti was very upset after hearing this.But she nodded her head.Then suddenly Trupti started clearing her desk.She cleared everything.She even picked up waste papers under her desk and she was about to throw it in dustbin.When she noticed paper under desk near to her.She also started collecting it.Ritu was about to object it.But then Ritu thought that if she said something now.She would say something wrong in anger so she decided to keep quiet.She continued standing there.But instead of finishing her work Trupti started searching for other scrap.Finally Ritu had it enough.Ritu said loudly"Trupti that is enough.I keep one man for job of cleaning.You don't have to do it.Now it's time to close the office and go home.I don't want to stop and waste my time unnecessarily."After hearing Ritu Trupti just dropped all waste paper and dust on office floor.Then Trupti just took her things and ran out of the office.Ritu was shocked by change of her attitude.Few minutes ago Trupti was very careful about office's clean and tidiness.She was doing cleaner's job unnecessarily.But now Trupti dropped all dust and scrap on floor before Ritu.After seeing this Ritu could not control her anger.She was about scream on Trupti.But Trupti just ran away from office.Ritu just didn't able to understand her secretary.
Next day Trupti had came in to office before Ritu.Ritu was shocked when she saw all her files were complete.Ritu saw Trupti had done some files for account department also.Ritu saw that all was done perfectly.She saw it was done in beautiful handwriting.Ritu really liked this personal touch.She just loved Trupti's efforts.All her anger about yesterday's incidence just vanished in the air.Trupti was a gem.She got near Trupti.She patted on her back and said"Great work Trupti.Keep it up."Then she clearly saw tears in Trupti's eyes.Ritu was confused.But before she could say something.Trupti smiled and said"Thanks."There was strange gratitude in her eyes.She was acting as if she was never admired.But Ritu knew that it was impossible.Trupti was a beautiful girl.She must had been admired by many boys.Still she lacked of that confidence which was strange.After that Ritu went back to her work.For many days she saw Trupti was working very hard for her company.Trupti had already work much more than a secretary.Trupti literally went each and every desk and started learning their work.Some people were cooperative they just loved teaching her.But some people were not that pleased.One day Ritu heard a heated argument and she saw that her chief accountant was actually screaming on Trupti.All staff was trying hard to control that argument.But no one was achieving any success.Finally Ritu said loudly"Everybody go back to your work.Mr.Rai came to my office and Trupti you too."When they entered in office.Trupti was literally shaking with fear.She was crying.After seeing her condition Mr.Rai also forgot his anger.Ritu"Will you quit that crying?What happened?"Trupti just continued crying.But Mr.Rai told their problem"Mam Trupti wanted to learn everything in the office.""So what's wrong with that?""Mam in the beginning we all loved her attitude.We all tried her.We even taught her some things.I personally taught her many things.Ask her."Trupti nodded her head.But she was still crying.Mr.Rai"But we had to do our work.She always came to other staff's desk and watched their computers.Now a days she even does accounts.She is not qualified for doing accounts.If something happened or someone find it,our company will get in problem.After all account is not a game.At first I thought Trupti will get busy with her work.But instead of getting busy with her work.She started doing both the work.When I found that she was doing it.I fired the accountant.I was asking her why was she doing his work.She said that she wanted him to be happy with her."Now Ritu was shocked.She knew that the fellow they were talking about was married so there was no question of love affair.Ritu hoped so.But when she looked at Mr.Rai's face,she started having doubts.Ritu"Trupti are you involved with that man?""No.No.Mam.He just forced me to go on coffee with him twice.Mr.Rai got something wrong in his head.""Now do you listen to her?She went to coffee with a married man and completing his work for him.She is telling me.I got it wrong.Now Mam can you tell me who is wrong?"Ritu could clearly see anger in Mr.Rai's eyes."Let me handle it.I will talk to her.Just keep it in your mind.Don't tell anyone about it.""Of course not.But let me tell you all office is already gossiping about it."Ritu was now angrily looking at Trupti was frustrated now.Trupti"They are all wrong.He was just teaching me accountancy and if I told him that I would not come with him.It would have upset him.""So?""Mam he was my senior.I had to obey him and I could not make him angry."Mr.Rai"What senior?He was just a clerk.He couldn't influence anyone against you.""But he was working here for many months.After all he was just teaching me accounts and Mam I just don't want anyone to be angry with me."Ritu"Now don't you see what have you done.You made Mr.Rai such worthy and senior angry with you."Now Trupti started crying more loudly.Ritu could see Trupti didn't want to create a drama.She was trying hard to control herself.But she just couldn't.Mr.Rai finally began to sympathized with her.Trupti was just ready to fell on his feet.But Mr.Rai stopped her."No need.You are just like my daughter.I just don't want you to repeat your mistake.You are too young and little bit stupid.You get carried away by people easily.I don't want you to act like that again.""Sorry Sir.I will not repeat my mistake."Ritu was happy.Finally the matter was sort out.
After that Ritu saw Trupti just did her job.But it happened only for few days.Then she started noticing that there was big mountain of others files on Trupti's desk.She was shocked.Ritu went to her cabin and started searching for Trupti's pending work.But she just noticed all her work was finished perfectly.Each of the work was perfect.Still Trupti was busy with work.When Ritu asked other staff about it.Mr.Rai told her Trupti was typing for all department.She took this work willingly and since they needed a typist.Mr.Rai thought that he might try Trupti for few days.If she did it properly,there would be new job and increment for her."After all Mam.Why shall we waste her energy?"But Ritu could see clearly Trupti was exhausting herself unnecessarily.Ritu noticed slowly Trupti started taking her files home.They let her do it because they trusted her.Then one day a project came in Ritu's hand.The client was rich.He was quiet impressed with Ritu's work and he liked their approach so they got that project and all office began to work like one person.They all were thinking it would opened their door to their victory so they all started working hard.Trupti was the one who work hardest.She went to every source and searched every information.Ritu really impressed with her work.Now a days Trupti started keeping office keys with her.Ritu gave her that permission because Trupti worked many times for whole night.Ritu could not wait all the time.But in her heart Ritu didn't like that idea.Trupti's staying there alone night after night was not wise.But then Ritu thought that it was matter for just few days until the project was completed. After that she decided she would force Trupti to start her studies so that she would got deserved post.After some days the project started and completed.That client was very happy with their work so it was big success.All office was on the top of the world and Ritu gave them a party.
On the day of party every member of the staff was there.Trupti had also came.But she was standing alone away from crowd.She was holding a glass of cold drink in her hand.Ritu could see that she was very upset.But after her big success why did she look upset?was a hardest question for Ritu so Ritu went near Trupti.Ritu "Trupti you don't look happy?Any problem?"Trupti forced a smile on her face."No Mam.There is not any problem.""Now don't lie to me.It is written on your face.That you had a problem."Then Trupti started crying.Trupti"After this how do I suppose to keep you happy?""Keeping me happy!I am happy with your work.""At this moment you are but after some days you will not feel same way.I need to work more hard to please you.Slowly you begin hate me.""No.It will not happen.You are nice girl.I always like you.In fact I am going to suggest you to study further and I will promote you."Now Trupti got more panic."And if I fail you will throw me out of job.""What are you saying?I was talking about brightening your future and you are taking everything wrong way.""I know what are you saying?You are going to throw me out of this company.How dare you?But you will do the same thing.No one like me.."Trupti was screaming at Ritu.All staff stopped enjoying and started looking at that drama.Mr.Rai"Mam are you firing her?""Of course not.Why do I suggest such thing?She is taking everything wrong way."Trupti"No.You are firing me."Then she started running towards bathroom.But Ritu ordered her staff to stop her.Finally they stopped her and Ritu calmed her.Trupti told them her story.Trupti was eldest of five children because of which she always was under pressure.She was not so clever so she never got enough marks and her parents hated her for that.They wanted their daughter to earn more money.They always called her useless.Now she was convince if she didn't please everyone in office.She would lose her job.That clerk claimed same thing.Mr.Rai"Nonsense no one hate you.We all like you."All staff was fully agree with Mr.Rai.Ritu said slowly"I think she need a psychiatrist."Ritu said it in slow tone so that only Trupti could hear her.After that Ritu personally helped Trupti in her studies.She even took her to doctor."The psychiatrist told Ritu that Trupti was suffering Generlized Anxiety Disorder.It happened because of too much pressure and criticisms by parents.Psychiatrist"Trupti was lucky to have concern boss like you.Many times people suffer but noone pay attention.In this fast life who has time for others.""No.I am lucky to have her and have a chance to correct my past.In my younger days I was used to be just like her and I suffered because of it on both sides personal and professional.Now I feel satisfaction of correcting my past."Ritu was trying to hard to hide her tears.But Trupti could clearly see it and she tightly hold her hand and made a promise to herself that she would never leave Ritu alone.
