After summer vacation every one was returning to school, Prachi hated the idea of returning back to school.But she always shocked to see kids who hated vacations.She always liked staying home and enjoying time.Even few hours in school reduced fun of her life.She loved some subjects but some were so boring.They were pain in neck for her.She just wished that teacher could stop screaming on them and try to explain it more patiently.After all every one needed a time to learn and other teachers just continued to screaming them.Prachi hated their attitude.Only thing that was good about school was her best friend Kiya sit with her.They always shared their bench which was really nice.When Prachi thought about Kiya,she remembered those moments when she enjoyed with Kiya and she began to think school was not that bad after all.Prachi looked at watch from shop,she had to look at shops for time.She was not permitted to wear watch in school.She didn't like these restriction.After all what was bad in watch.She was big enough to take care of it.Then she saw that she was getting late so she ran near the place where her school bus would come.She just reached on time the bus was just reached in the spot.Prachi ran near bus and got inside and took her seat.She looked around every one was the same.There was no new bus student so she just had to bear with old students who always treated her like dust.She just didn't know that why did they dislike her so much.But she never took risk of asking anyone.After all in school she had Kiya which was enough for her.Prachi sat quietly on her place and started looking out of window.That moment were worst for her. She just wished her mom stop forcing her to use school bus and let her walk by herself.But she was not permitted because she would be late and her mom never trust anyone in the world.In her opinion whole world was after to kidnap Prachi.Prachi felt sad and looked at the girls on the road.That girl was where beggar but still they were full of confidence.She saw them abusing the person who were not giving them money.Suddenly an question arise in her mind.Didn't she deserve more sympathy than those arrogant beggars.
Finally school bus reached to the school.Prachi jumped out of her bus and started running in her new classroom.She became suddenly excited to meet her friends.After all her mom had her everything new.She had new school bag,bottles,uniform etc.Everything was new and exciting.Suddenly she began to think after all going to school was not that bad.As soon as she entered in the class,she went to near her bench.Kiya was sitting there.Prachi began to sit on her seat.She hoped that Kiya would admire her things as normally Kiya did.But Kiya was preoccupied in talking with other girls in class.Prachi was disappointed but she could understand after all Kiya had to talk to everyone.Then Prachi once again sat on her bench.She began to read a book.Prachi was slowly watching Kiya who was not at all paying any attention to Prachi.After some time Kiya came back.Kiya"You know those all girls were so excited about our new teacher..."Then Kiya just continued telling her gossip.Kiya suddenly began to take interest in social life.Prachi wanted her to be just like last year.She didn't want any social life.She preferred privacy and she wanted Kiya to be same way.But Kiya was changed and Prachi didn't know how to handle it.Prachi just nodded on everything and then began to look in her bags as if she wanted something.Slowly Kiya once again returned to other girls.But Prachi was quietly reading her books.Prachi thought that Kiya didn't want her friendship any more.She was very nervous.But there was no option other than accept the change so whole time Prachi was sitting alone on bench with her book.After some time teacher came and once again Kiya came back to bench.Kiya"Prachi you should have come to talk with those girls.They were so interesting.You would have enjoyed it."After that teacher started teaching and that subject was dropped.Prachi suddenly began to feel very uncomfortable with Kiya.Kiya was acting so different this year.Prachi was found it hard to cope up with her.When she came back on bench,she started acting as if nothing had happened.Kiya was talking to her as if she was there whole time.Kiya was saying that they both were just each other's friends.But she was acting so differently.Kiya was just doing what she wanted to do.She didn't seem to care much about Prachi.Then their teacher began to talk.Teacher"This year I am making some changes in your sitting arrangement.From now every one will sit according to my instructions.Okay."Now Prachi was scared.She didn't want to change her seat.But when her teacher forced her there was no option.Then she saw Kiya.She was also upset with it.Prachi was so glad that at least her friend seemed to be as upset as her.
After that teacher told them their new seats.Prachi obeyed her like a good student.But she really didn't like it.She wanted to sit near her best friend.Then she started trying to adjust with new classmate.But she proved to be very different.Her name was Rima.Rima just got one passion in her life and that was sports.She just interested in sports.She wanted to talk about sports.Rima asked Prachi that what sports did she like.Sadly answer was none.Now this was biggest disappointment for Rima.She started encouraging her about the sports so Rima was nice girl.But she was so different than Prachi that it really hurt to call her friend.Prachi was tried of her in just one day.But when she turned and looked at Kiya.She saw that Kiya was enjoying herself.Prachi was so upset now.She clearly saw that Kiya was no longer interested in keeping friendship.But Prachi was still wanted back her friendship.When recess started at first Prachi went to her bench,but slowly Prachi noticed none of them was interested in her.Finally each day was like nightmare to her.She started crying every night.Her Mom tried to console her and told her that slowly she would make new friends and everything would be fine again.At beginning Prachi hoped that it would turn out to be truth.But sadly nothing like that happened and her every day turned in to nightmare.She wanted to stop going school.But her parents would never listen to her and she was very sure about it.Prachi's Mom was watching everything.But she just didn't know what did she suppose to do.Slowly Prachi started asking for more food.At first Mom was thrilled that Prachi didn't show any sign of lack appetite.But then slowly she started asking for food again and again.Mom always encouraged her.After some time Prachi started sitting alone for lunch.She was just interested in eating her lunch only.Then after some days suddenly Kiya came to her bench."Prachi now a days you don't come to my bench.Are you angry with me?"Prachi looked around.She saw all the girls in class were watching her.They all were waiting for her response.She knew that if she complaint everyone would go against her.Prachi"Nothing like that.""Come on.You are always sitting there alone.Where is Rima?"Prachi was sure as normally Rima must be playing outside."She is playing.""Then why didn't you go with her?Is she so bad?"Prachi was very upset.She knew that Rima was good and she never acted wrong with her.Problem between them was of different choices.She loved indoor things and Rima was big fan of outdoor games so they could not match each other.Prachi"She is nice girl.""So what is problem?""I just finding it hard to adjust with her.""I know that you are not comfortable with new friends.Don't worry every thing will be alright."After saying this Kiya went away.Prachi could clearly saw that she was in worst stress of life and her friend was not with her.
After some days when Prachi woke up,she felt that her head was very heavy.Prachi"Mom I am not feeling well."Prachi couldn't able to say anything further.She slept and took her blanket.She was shivering in that hot weather.Then she heard her parents talking."My god! She has fever.""Let's call doctor."Somewhere inside her heart Prachi felt relived that she didn't have to go in school.Then Mom took her to doctor.It was horrible to wait in his waiting room.But still she was happy that she didn't have to go in school.During whole sickness she felt a strange relief that she didn't have to go in school.For three or four days Prachi was feeling so sick due to virus that question of going to school didn't come.But after some days finally she was okay and that day she didn't have fever.Her parents were so happy.They took her to doctor who told them that she was perfect now.Then Mom asked the question which Prachi hated from her heart."Then she can go to school?""Of course.She can.After all she must have missed many days of school.""You are right doctor.It was so hard for her to cover up now.She had to take others notebook to copy notes."Suddenly all her classmates came before Prachi's eyes.She suddenly felt sure that Kiya could gave her notebook.Next day Mom made her ready for school.When she entered in bus,she expected some one would ask about her health.But no one was interested in her.When she entered in school.Teacher asked her to cover everything and told her to take notes from other students.But in recess no one seemed willing to share anything with her.Rima was ready to share.But her notes were so incomplete that they were useless to Prachi.When she went to Kiya,she saw that Kiya was talking with her new friends.She went near her.Prachi"Kiya can you give me your notes?"Kiya made a sad face."So sorry Prachi.But it was not possible.You know I have to study so I can't give you that notes."Then Kiya started talking to other friends again.That moment Prachi felt so insulted.They all were laughing on something.But Prachi felt that they were laughing on her.She ran to her bench.At that moment she suddenly felt strange.Her head was heavy and it started to pain.When next lecture started, she just could able to keep her eyes open.After some time teacher came near her,she touched and checked her fever.Teacher"My god you are having fever."Prachi was surprised.But she didn't mind to be sick.After all going to school was turning out to be a worst experience to her.Teacher"Come on I will take you to sick room."So Prachi spent her day in that room until her Mom came to take her.Mom took her outside and they sat in Auto.Mom"I just couldn't believe it.You were so fine in morning."Prachi was also confused by this fever.She never expected it to return.After all doctor seemed to be so sure that she was fine.They immediately went to doctor.Doctor was also shocked to see her.Then he checked her once again.He looked confused as well as tense.Doctor"I just don't understand.She look perfect still she is having fear.I just can't guess.I wish that you shall take these reports.May be we will able to find out what is wrong with her?"Mom really didn't like this.After that she immediately called her Papa.Prachi saw that Papa came home early and showed special concern about her.She saw sure something was totally wrong with her.
After that for many days Prachi went to many doctors and many hospitals to do test.Even her hand started paining due to continuous needle use.She began to get tired of visiting doctors.But all reports were normal still Prachi was having fever each and every day at night.Her parents began to take in every kind of temples,churches and mosques etc.They were so panic.Her Mom and Papa started keeping fasts for her.But none of the thing was proving useful.Finally one day they went to a doctor who read her reports for hours and finally said"Do you ever consider visiting a psychiatrist?""Psychiatrist?!She is just small girl!!""Who told you that small children don't have mental problems?They also face stress as much as we do.They also have their tensions.I think that she is physically fine.She need a psychiatrist."They had already tired everything so they decided to give it a try.Then they took an appointment.First that psychiatrist gave Prachi a nice smile which was rare by doctor because after seeing her case each and every doctor used to get tense.Then he told her parents to go out.He gave her some toys and when she was playing with it.He started talking slowly she started telling him.Every thing about Kiya, her change in attitude,her tensions and then she told him about Rima.She told him just every thing.Then she told her to go out.She saw that her parents were talking to doctor for long time.Then they finally came out.Their faces were pale as white as paper.Mom hold her hand and kissed her."Don't worry sweet heart you will be fine."After that for many days she went to that doctor.He taught her how to make new friends.She played with new kids and learned to make new friends.Then when she finally went in school.She made many friends in school bus as well as in school.She never learned what was her problem.But when she learned to make friends in that hospital with help of doctor and nurses,her fever stopped coming.Then she went in school.She was new Prachi something totally new who no more cared about Kiya and could make as many new friends as she wanted.Her worst nightmare was finally over.
