The Play
Reema was so excited by every concept that night.It was perfect concept for that play.She was going to try that thing as per her wish this time because whole college selected her as head of that play.It was so excellent.She wanted to create that play with her whole heart.She wanted it to be perfect.She started setting every thing as per her wish.This time there was no one to stop her because even principal told her that she could do it as per her wish.She started doing every thing in a perfect way.She started studying scene phase by phase.She decided to create list of cast.It was big task because she was sure that students would fight for lead role and no one would like to take simple role.That was what always happened every one just wanted big and center role. No one was interested in side role. Reema just never understood that why did they were not select other roles.They were also full of acting skill on every point.But no one liked side roles so there would be big audition next day.It would be full of issues and conflicts.Every one should wanted to get role so each girl would try to impress her.Some had even tried to bribe her last time.She wanted to punish them but then she felt that they were just small girls so she decided to ignore them. But in her heart it was worst for her.She felt that she needed to teach more ethics to her students.She tried to explain all this to students next day.But all that teaching seemed to be useless.Students were interested in just one thing.They wanted to those girls to be punished.But when she looked at their faces.She knew that they didn't really had anything against bribing.They just wanted to have their competitor out of their way.It was not fight for morals.It was just fight due to anger because they felt cheated and their time could had wasted if Reema took that bribe.She didn't really want to face that this time also.So she just told new branch indirectly that she should not get any gifts.She just hoped that they had understood it and they would not try same thing which students of last year tried.It was worst for them. She just never understood how could student act like that.But they were learning these things from their parents.Then there was also sweet talking and admiring going on forever around her.Since she was chosen as head of drama.It was so strange on every point.She just didn't understand those thoughts.How could some student act that way.It was making every thing worst for her.She wanted to just over with it so she was getting ready with whole play.Tomorrow she was going to give each one their role and saw their audition.She was making list of students on every point. There were many students which needed to act in their role in perfect way. But she knew that all students would want to act in just lead role but she needed people for other role also.She just decided that she would had to force some student to do other roles.She just hoped that they would listen to her.Then she started working hard on each part when she was so upset by last experience that she just started studying hard on every part of play.
When Reema entered in college immediately students started surrounding her,she was so upset by this.Some students were trying to impress her but some students were genuinely concerned. Reema tried to tell them all about audition.Whole time she had to just discuss it until her class was started.Even during class some students wanted to discuss it.But she objected it.She told them that there were sitting there to study and play should not become distraction.No one was willing to accept it.But still they just kept sitting there because she was their teacher.She knew that whole day was spoiled just due to audition.She liked responsibility of play but she also wished that students should have more understanding that studies must not affect by it.But they never seemed to understand that whole day they just discussed one thing that was play.Then after long hours of struggles finally time came for audition.When Reema entered,she looked at all girls first.She had to short list them first.She told some girls to come ahead out of them.She started selecting some according to looks and gave them scripts.Many girls who were not selected looked on verge of tears.Some even looked at her with full anger. She felt so sad.It was worst thing.That students were angry with her due to that selection.But she had to do it.When it was over,she personally told every one that they all were great but she had to select.Some seemed convinced. But other were still complaining while going out she could hear them.They all felt that she was cheating.While she tried her best to do things in perfect way in life.But no one was pleased it and it happened on every time. She finally felt turned her attention to girls she had selected.Now every girl was excited.Even those who had got side roles.Since others were rejected on that point.So now every one felt that it was great that they got chance.They all were sure that they would get at least some role or work.Since Reema told them that she would give work to every one.But some of them had to work behind stage but every one wanted to be part of play so they agreed.Then every one started studying dialogues.Slowly they started working on each part of dialogue.When they started appearing before Reema but then on stage she started studying each and every person.She had to select any one.She noticed some students were good but then she didn't find any one who looked perfect to act as heroin.She studied them hard on each and every dialogue.They were good.She had selected even some of them for side roles.She had chosen hero also but she couldn't able to decide heroin.She needed some one who would do justice to her role on every angle.She just kept searching from all students and finally she settled on Lara who was perfect for that role.She was saying even dialogues in perfect way.It was so nice on every point.Lara would look so good on every part of play.There was different parts of play which looked perfect on her. Reema would look perfect as heroin in play.
Reema told them to stand in line.Then she told them their part.Some smiled and some looked disappointed.But Reema was relaxed that finally audition was over.Reema was relaxed.She had selected every student perfectly.She was sure that every thing would work perfectly.Every place was planned perfectly.There was a room in which they had to do practice of play.She thought that it would go as she thought in a perfect way.Next day she started doing play.She was doing every thing perfectly.She was so happy that Lara was doing every thing as per their wish.Slowly rehearses started daily as per instructions.It all was so good and perfect.Every one was doing so best that she felt that this time she would receive some prize for this college play.It was so nice each day they worked harder and harder.Finally they did final rehearsal before whole college. That whole night she spend in just searching and getting every thing perfect.Then she went home.She set alarm.She was so scared that it would not ring so she set alarm on mobile also.She tried to sleep but that night she didn't able to get any sleep.Whole time she was just kept thinking about her first play.She just kept revising every thing.She needed to do.It was so stressful.She even wished on some moment that she shouldn't had given this responsibility.But she knew that it was her passion.She loved making plays so it was perfect for her.She was just too much scared.She was just thinking about this when she slowly slept.Then she heard alarm.She just ran out of her bed.She started getting ready then she took out dairy of students who were part of play.She personally called them and told them to come at college.They supposed to wait there and then they all would go in one bus. Reema also had to drop them all to their homes.She knew that it was hard work but she wanted to do it.Then she ran to her bathroom to get ready.She had prepare herself also.After all she was the one who created play so she was supposed to look decent with light kind of make-up like lipstick. She was getting so late that she decided that she would apply it in train only.She just ran to go there.She was little bit upset when she noticed that there was not any one in her 1st class compartment.She remembered all those scary incidence that she had read in newspaper.She didn't want to sit alone so she went near door.Then she remembered that incidence when some one threw stone on train and passenger lost eye.She had to go inside.She just went near that window seat and sat in one corner and started praying to god that her station should come quick.Then one girl came who looked equally scared.She gave one pleasant smile to Reema and sat near Reema.
Suddenly they both became nice friends.After all they both were alone in those big crisis.That girl told her that she was nurse in hospital.She supposed to go hospital since she was called.They discussed each others like.Finally she gave Reema her number and told her that Reema could call her if she ever needed Doctor,but then they both wished that it should not happen after all payment to Doctor and sickness both were worst in life.Then finally Reema's station came.She went out of train but she just didn't like leaving that girl.She just wished from heart only if some constable was there.But it was not going to happen so she had to accept what she got.She just went out of train and ran towards college.She had to wait some students were late.She was boiling with anger about this attitude.But she knew that she couldn't change anything.Finally every one came and they started bus.It was best traveling for them all because there was no traffic on road and no noise pollution.But no one was relaxed or ready to enjoy because they all were studying their part and tense.Finally they reached to place but they came early so they had to wait in corner.Any way it was good for them because every one wanted to rehearsal part.It was relaxing time for them all.They were so happy due to it.They all did all that work was needed.Then finally they were allowed to go inside by then there was lot of crowd.Many colleges were participating.Some were looking friendly but many were treating competitor like enemy which was worst in eyes of Reema.Then they went inside.Reema checked their number.Their play was on 8th position so they had to wait.They got chance to watch play of other student.But Reema and all other were so tense that they hardly able to enjoy those plays.Finally their time came every one was ready with make up just on that spot. Reema didn't able to see on step and she fall down.It was bad fall.She looked at all students who gathered around her.They all were looking so tense.But she knew that she was little bit hurt.Just there was pain of knee.She had to check it out.She saw that she was bleeding and on that point Lara screamed and fainted before her.Every one started trying to help her.Even Reema started to help her and totally forgot her pain.But Lara just didn't able to wake. Reema was so nervous. They were calling name of their college.They were suppose to perform.But they just couldn't go since their heroin was fainted.Reema thought of requesting to change their number.But she could see clearly that Lara was not going to wake up so it was useless.Reema just searched for number of that nurse whom she met in morning.When she told that nurse every thing,that nurse told her that she would send ambulance.She talked so nicely with Reema that Reema relaxed lot.Then she looked at other students.She couldn't take them all to hospital.But she felt that sending them alone with driver also didn't seem good.Reema asked them if any one had number of Lara's home.They all turned their head negatively. After all what should be need of that number for them.They had Lara's mobile.She decided to call college.She called principal and told every thing.Principal told her that she would call another professor of other college who took care of other students.But she could hear anger in principal's voice.She knew that Principal would not say anything since it was not her mistake.But all her chances of next play were gone and with them gone her chance of becoming her favorite.Suddenly she became suspicious that someone had given Lara some thing so she wanted to treat her before her eyes.
Reema kept waiting finally ambulance came,she ran with Lara inside it.That nurse was sitting with Reema.Reema was so nervous that she forgot to do treatment for her own wounds.But that sweet girl reminded Reema of them.She started treating Reema.Just that girl whom she met at morning seemed like life long friend to her.She slowly told every thing.Her every suspicion on every angle of life seemed right on that moment.That nurse was shocked but that nurse didn't agree with Reema."Madam I don't feel that it could be that way.I have checked her.There is not any food poisoning symptoms.""But?..""No.It is not possible.""Then what happened?""Her blood pressure become so low that she fainted.""But why?May be she had not eaten at morning?""No.I feel that she was tense.""Due to play.""I just don't know.Doctor can tell you.But I will tell you one thing surely that it is not food poisoning or something which entered due to eating."Now Reema was nervous. She was so confused. Finally they reached to hospital,Lara was taken inside immediately.Reema waited outside .It was so strange.Nothing was wrong still her heroin fainted on important moment and her dreams were wasted. But Reem didn't knew that cause due to which this happened.After some time Doctor came our.Reema"What happened to her?""Actually we are confused.She is fine now.But she fainted suddenly.What happened?""I was walking and I fall from stair then I heard her scream.I don't know what happened exactly on that time.May be I should phone other students and ask them?""Sure.Go ahead.I like to know."Then Reema called three students who were near her.They all were concerned but they all told same thing that nothing happened.Lara just fainted.Reema was so shocked and confused.Then Lara's parents came.They talked with Doctor.Doctor told them same thing.Doctor"Do your daughter have any allergy?""No.But she was scared of blood."Reema"What?!!But it was just few drops.""I know but still she just fainted.""I just can't believe it.Then how did she survive without falling in childhood?""She never used to go out that much.She was indoor girl.She use to do her reading and that's how she learned acting by watching Television and reading plays.She use to copy it all.""But when she was child,she must had fallen.""At that time it was not that bad,she was just use to look away from blood.But this time it was worst."Doctor"Why didn't you treated her?""It is normal to be scared.We all have our fears."Now Reema screamed with anger.Reema"Treat her or I will tell principal all this.I don't feel that principal will ignore this matter.After all our play was destroyed just due your daughter."Now Lara's parents looked scared but Doctor looked at Reema with anger and said"Talk slowly this is hospital.Don't worry.She is suffering from blood phobia in which people faint when they see blood.Our psychiatrist would treat her."Reema nodded and went away.She didn't want to cry before them all.Her every effort were wasted because her heroin was having phobia.She knew that she needed to understand this.But her mind was not ready.She was cursing Lara from heart so she went away from them as soon as possible because she wanted to hide feeling.
