Arpita's worst tour
Arpita was
repeatedly thinking about positive side of that incidence but it was impossible
to find. She was planning to go out with her friends but her mom needed to do
some arrangements for her relatives. Her dad insisted so her mom couldn’t able
to do any packing for her. She needed to do all by herself. She was feeling so
negative in her thoughts. She felt as if her dad did it with intention. Her dad
knew very well about her trip. She was going out alone first time. She was
nervous but she insisted on going. Her dad didn’t want her to go. Her dad kept
telling he was scared for her but she knew very well. Her dad didn’t want to
pay for that trip. But she wanted to go her all friends were going. She
couldn’t say no to her best friend Trupti. Trupti was so nice. She sat on same
bench with her. Then she always did all projects with Trupti. She never did
anything without Trupti. So, Trupti didn’t want to do anything without her even
today. Arpita was totally committed to fulfill wish of Trupti. So, Arpita
decided that she wouldn’t back down. Arpita wanted to feel positive. But she
was so confused while packing she was not certain that she had packed
everything properly. She even asked mom to check once after packing. Mom was
about to check when her dad screamed “She is grown up. You don’t need to spoon
feeding to her every time.” She felt so hurt. She was grown up. She knew that still
she was not consider enough grown up to go out as per her wishes. She managed
to complete her education soon. After that she was planning to find nice boy to
marry or nice job to move on in life. She was certain that she would manage one
thing out of two. Since she was good looking & smart. She didn’t even have
too much demands. She was just expecting normal life. But as she started to
walk towards bus. She began to dream. She started to develop hopes in her mind.
She knew that in this picnic she could see nothing special but still she had
different unique hopes in her soul. She began to walk. It was long route. But
she was totally careful about everything. She needed to look nice &
beautiful. She wanted to impress everyone whoever visited her in picnic. Her
looks were so important. She slowly stopped on corner of road. She sat on one
bench which kept for people to sit. She sat on it & began to watch her face
& dress. She wanted to feel positive about all. She wanted to look better.
She knew that it was just small picnic but she had large hopes from it. She
felt in this picnic she would meet someone who would help her in future. She has positive feeling. She smiled towards her reflection with hopes.
Ramesh packed everything properly for
this picnic. He was planning to arrange all. This was his important project. He
got first time chance to handle entire picnic. This time he had different
group. They told him that there would be young girls too. He needed to handle
all properly. He was walking when he saw Arpita sitting on bench. She was
looking in mirror. She was adjusting her dress. It was clear to him that she
might cause trouble in trip for him. She was having some different romantic
plans in her mind. He didn’t want any romance in his tour. Especially by Arpita!
Her dad already called them to tell they must not permit Arpita to get too
friendly with people. Ramesh knew very well that he needed to pay full
attention to Arpita. He knew that she was not obedient girl. She came here to
find some friends. She needed to be discipled. It was very important for her.
Ramesh came slowly near her bench. As soon as she sensed that he was coming,
she stood & she began to walk fast. Now she wanted to reach to her
destination as soon as possible. Arpita was not looking towards him. She was
looking towards her wrist watch which was showing time to her. She sensed that
she needed to meet Trupti as soon as possible. Arpita was smiling happily. She
had high hopes from this picnic. She was certain that this picnic would teach
her lots of things. She wanted to become independent. She wanted to learn to
manage all things by herself. It was important for her. She began to walk fast.
She suddenly began to feel so scared. She didn’t understand why. She felt as if
someone was watching her. She looked behind. There were few people who were
carrying luggage & walking in their own way. She didn’t find any one special.
She started to think that she was scared just since she was going to this time
of picnic for first time. She began to walk fast. Finally, she saw Trupti. She
smiled happily. Trupti was waving her hands to show her the place where Trupti
was standing. She was smiling happily. Finally, Arpita & Trupti were
planning to go out alone in independent way as they thought. They hoped that it
would be full of fun. Trupti took hold of Arpita’s hand & started telling
her where she supposed to go to catch bus. Soon they both sat in bus properly.
They began to look out of bus window. They were so happy.
Ramesh came in bus happily. He began
to go inside bus. He was smiling happily. He was going to impress everyone with
smile. He had decided it. He wanted to spread positivity in tourist. He needed
to show hopes. He wanted to make everyone happy. He was manager of this trip. He
needed to handle all. He began to smile & started to ask names. One by one
everyone started telling names. Ramesh began to write down those names on
paper. Ramesh started to discuss hobby of each person. He had written down
hobby of every person. He was planning different ways to make them all happy.
He was going to talk with each person in bus & make them feel better &
superior. He was just planning to treat one person differently. It was Arpita!
Arpita’s father was friend of his father. He met Arpita’s father. He knew very
well about her. He knew all details about her so when Arpita stood up, he gave
a look which could tell her that she was not someone special. Arpita started to
talk but he immediately told her “I prefer if you remain to the point, we are
not here to impress people. This is just fun tour.” Her face immediately became
sad. She seemed like she was going to cry but she didn’t. She just said
“Sorry.” Then she sat down. Most people in bus laughed. It was joke according
to them. But she felt so sad & hurt. She looked towards Trupti. Then Trupti
started to look nervous too. Trupti didn’t stood & Ramesh didn’t ask her to
stood too. Ramesh said “We are getting late someone wasted time so I will not
ask further questions.” Then Ramesh took seat in Bus & told driver to start
driving bus. Slowly bus started to move ahead. Arpita felt nervous but Trupti
smiled & said “He was just cracking joke.” Arpita smiled. Arpita didn’t
want to show her emotions. She knew that she needed to be strong. She just
began to look out of window & said slowly “I just want to enjoy view.” She
kept watching nature for hours. She began to feel so positive about everything.
This trick was working nicely. No one was going to see her emotions they were
all hidden in her mind. She just kept smiling. Trupti kept watching. Trupti
started to regret her decision of calling Arpita. It was wrong. Arpita wasn’t got
admiration from group manager of this tour. Now it would be problematic for
Arpita & Trupti too. Trupti sensed her trip was doomed. Their money was
clearly wasted & she began to feel so negative. But Trupti decided to think
about other things.
As tour began to move ahead on every
point Ramesh was careful to discourage Arpita. It was turning in to problematic
situation for Arpita. Arpita trying her best to act nice but Ramesh kept
finding fault in her. Sometimes her smile looked wrong & sometime she
looked arrogant to Ramesh since she didn’t smile. Ramesh was commenting on her
every behavior. He was pointing towards her again & again. She began to
feel so nervous. She started to think her every action needed to be corrected. She
began to get so depressed. Her life started to move in wrong way. She wanted
happiness. But she was feeling so sad. She didn’t understand what was wrong
with her. Her each day of tour was worse than first one. Ramesh kept targeting
her. Slowly even Trupti began to get upset. One day finally time came to return
home. Arpita was so happy about it. Arpita said slowly to Trupti “I am sorry. I
messed up your tour too.” But Trupti gave her odd look & said “I don’t
understand why did that Ramesh kept targeting you! It is odd.” “Since I am not
smart girl. My dad felt same way.” Arpita started to pack things. Arpita was
returning home but Trupti was not happy about it. Trupti was feeling something
was odd. As soon as Arpita returned, her dad gave her smile & said “So did
they taught you how to behave in your tour?” She just nodded. She began to feel
so scared. She knew that she was not nice person. Her dad kept taunting her.
She began to sense her dad was right. Ramesh said same thing. Her dad was
saying same thing so it must be right. Arpita went in room. Her mom was still
cooking in kitchen. Her mom didn’t sense that she had returned. She didn’t even
want to alert her mom. She sat in her room & started crying. After that she
avoided her best to talk against her dad. She was expecting some positive
attitude from her dad. She felt that if she stayed out of his way he wouldn’t
target her. But her dad kept targeting her. She slowly began to look pale. She
started to remain awake in nights. People began to ask questions about her
health. But her dad always blamed her. Her mom didn’t say anything. Finally,
one day her dad brought one boy in home. He told her that this boy was suitable
for her as husband. That boy talked with Arpita. But it didn’t seem to work so
that boy didn’t decide to date her. Her dad began to scream on her. She was so
shocked. She still kept avoiding her dad. Her life was moving ahead with her
fear & sorrows. One day her dad fall sick & died. Arpita cried on his
death but she was shocked when she saw Ramesh on his funeral. She was watching
Ramesh. When suddenly one man came from behind, he said slowly to her “Your dad
had mental issues. I am psychiatrist. I was treating him but he left treatment
in middle. I guess he set this man to harass you, did he?” She nodded. Psychiatrist
smiled & said “Don’t worry. He is dead now. You are free now. He can’t harm
you.” She kept watching that psychiatrist with confusion. She didn’t understand
if she supposed to cry or smile on this dead since she was still scared. She
knew that her dad was dead but still she was not certain. She was smart &
wise. She just called that psychiatrist & said “Just give me your number. I
will call you if needed.” Psychiatrist “I don’t think you will but still keep
my number.” He gave her his number & went away.
