Adventure story. 760. Rina's dream dress

                           Rina's dream dress

Rina began to observed shelves one after another. She was looking towards dresses one by one. She was paying full attention to every design. Those designs had so much beauty inside them. She was getting impressed by each one. She felt as if each design had its beauty. She began to feel those design had one dream inside it. She started to look towards them very carefully. It was pleasant one. She wanted to observe dresses with proper looks. She began to search for beautiful dresses. She knew that she could purchase anything from that shop. Her parents gave her card. She knew that her dad didn’t deny her permission of purchasing this time. She found out new gift in his room. It was clear that it was for her dad’s new girlfriend. She felt so sad. It was not easy for her to take money & keep quiet about her dad’s cheating but she knew that was for best. Her mom was loving, kind & gentle housewife who didn’t have financial support of her own. She also knew that even if her mom had job still her dad was dominating enough to take away everything. She was certain about one thing that she needed to pretend before her mom. She could use this money as compensation. At least it would prove some punishment for dad. She felt that she needed to spend some money. She wanted revenge. She began to select dress. As she started to look towards dresses. She began to imagine one boyfriend with them. It was such a pleasant thought. She began to feel so positive. She wanted to think about dresses. Her each dress had unique design. When she observed it, she began to feel so happy about it. She was looking carefully towards that dress. She knew that she was just imagining those boys. They didn’t actually exist. It was just her imagination. She kept thinking about it. She wanted those dresses to give her positive dreams. She touched their fabric. It was so soft & pleasant to touch. She had new pleasant diamonds. She was watching those dresses. She started to select them. One by one she began to attach her dreams to them. Those dresses were her favorite. She was looking towards them for first time. But she felt as if they were her favorite. She didn’t feel as if they were unknown. She was touching them when she heard voice from behind. “Can I help you Madam?” She looked behind. One young good-looking salesgirl was standing behind her. She felt so nervous. Suddenly she sensed that she was dreaming too much. She could get those sorts of boyfriends in line. She smiled & said “I want to buy dresses.” “Madam we have large variety do you have any specific type or pattern in mind?” Rina didn’t have any. Rina “I like to see all.” “OH, Come this way.” Rina began to walk behind that salesgirl.

         Rina’s dad was so upset. He wanted to stop giving money to Rina. He just hated giving anything to her. He wanted to spend it all on himself. He was cheating his wife for all time. He needed to find some solution on Rina. He knew that he couldn’t stop it. Even if he decided to become honest. It wouldn’t help. He knew that Rina would spend all money from that card. It was so crazy. His house was filling with dresses. He was keeping many rooms just to keep her clothes. It was just not enough for her. She kept collecting dresses. He was so frustrated by her attitude. It was so pleasant for her. But he hated it. He kept collecting different sort of coins & Rina kept collecting different sort of dresses. It was becoming so frustrating. He didn’t understand where did it all was going. Rina began to get so restless. She kept choosing one after another dresses. He needed to say “no” to her on some point. This was not helping him at all. On that point his mobile rang. He saw that Rina’s mom was calling. He felt happy. His wife was simple & sweet lady. She was perfect for him. But Rina was too much for him. Rina kept getting information on him & Rina kept asking for money. She didn’t need to buy dresses but still she kept asking. He wanted to convince his wife to stop their daughter but he didn’t. He kept spending money on Rina. It was upsetting. Rina was not working. Rina was just living on his money. He was about to talk with his wife but his wife told him herself. “I called you since I want to suggest you to stop giving extra pocket money to Rina.” He was so glad. “I know but still when she asks…” “You are acting so soft towards Rina. You need to see how many dresses she already has but still she keeps buying more. Our entire house is full of her dresses & our house is not even small. We live in three floor apartments still our apartment is not enough to keep her clothing.” He smiled. He wanted to increase anger of his wife so he added “But whenever I say no she begins to talk so negative. She starts to say I don’t love her & I don’t love her mom. You know that sort of things.” “You need to learn to ignore her.” He was so happy. This way he would make certain that his wife didn’t trust Rina. He said slowly “I do as you say.” He looked towards balance of card he had given to Rina. Now he could stop it. He smiled. Rina blackmailed him so she deserved it. He told bank to block card. He was joint account holder with his wife so he could do it. He smiled happily. It would be wonderful when he could see Rina getting tortured due to stopping of that card. He knew that she must be shopping on that time. He laughed. He began to think how did Rina’s mom would react when Rina would try to explain truth to her. He wanted to enjoy this drama so he decided to left his office early. He wanted to be in home when Rina would start arguing.⁹

         Rina selected many dresses & she went on counter to make payment. She was so happy. She gave her card. That cashier started to use that card. Cashier began to use it. She was checking out dresses. Then Cashier called her “Madam your card is not working.” Rina felt so shocked. Rina tried it twice when she couldn’t do it. She began to count money in her purse. It was limited. She decided to keep shopping. She just said “I will come tomorrow after renewing card.” Staff of store nodded. It was clearly not single incidence for them. Cashier said “It’s okay.” Rina left everything behind. Rina decided to not purchase things. Rina didn’t feel sad about it. Something must had happened with card. She didn’t mind it. It was not so important. She just needed to ignore it. She took Cab with cash payment. She reached home. She didn’t say anything to mom. She was thinking for long time. She needed to stop this. She just smiled to mom & asked for lunch. On that day when dad returned, she just told him that card payment stopped. Her dad immediately told “It must be some mistake by bank. You can visit &…” “It’s okay. I have many dresses.” She returned to her room. She tried to sleep peacefully but her sleep was vanished. She kept seeing that shop & those scenes which she saw in that hotel when her dad was with some woman. She wanted to forget all. But it was not happening. She was no longer interested in buying anything. She just wanted to forget all. She couldn’t even tell her mom. She took those dresses. She was part of her dad’s crimes. She started crying. This was getting worst. As time move ahead, she began to feel more & more upset. Her mind started to get negative. She needed to close her eyes & go to sleep but it was not happening. Her sleep was far away from her. She felt as if she was caged in her room.

          Rina’s dad was shocked when he sensed that Rina didn’t do any argument. Next morning when Rina came for breakfast her eyes were looking so tired. She was feeling so sad. She looked towards her dad. Dad was expecting her to argue but she didn’t. She just sat on table & began to eat breakfast. Her dad smiled happily. He sensed that she was too scared. He needed to increase her fear. He began to talk “You have purchased those dresses just because of me. You are enjoying all luxuries because of me. Now if you tell everything to mom, she might decide to leave me then I will not keep you. You will be on road. Road has many sorts of wrong people. You need to understand life on road is not good one.” Rina shivered with fear. She didn’t want to live on road. Rina didn’t say anything. She just kept quiet. She went in her room. She began to look towards her dresses. She used to feel that they had dreams inside now she didn’t. It was wrong. Her mom came from behind. Mom “What happened? Why you left breakfast table?” “I am feeling uneasy in stomach.” It was not exactly lie. She was truly feeling odd in stomach. Her word was also feeling odd. She began to feel that she might fall on ground. She didn’t want to discuss any other thing. She began to tell how unwell she was feeling. Rina’s mom decided to take her to Doctor. Whole time Rina was feeling so sick. Her mom was tense. They sat in Doctor’s line waiting for number. They didn’t have appointment. Finally, they went inside. Doctor began to check Rina. Doctor “She is just fine. Does she have any tension?” Mom said “No.” Mom was fully certain that Rina had no tensions. Doctor took out one paper wrote something & gave it to mom without expressions. Then Doctor said “Visit this psychiatrist otherwise mental issue will increase.” “My daughter is fine. She didn’t have any issues.” Doctor “Then why she scratching her forearms with sharp objects?” Rina didn’t say anything. She was punishing herself for not telling truth to mom instead purchasing clothes. She knew that she couldn’t hide it from doctor. It was so stressful. She slowly looked towards mom. Her mom completely rejected idea of psychiatrist. Rina was so desperate on that moment that she wanted to try all. After rejecting idea Mom & Rina went out. Rina intentionally forgot her mobile inside. Rina created excuse to go this way. Rina “Mom I forgot mobile.” Then she went inside again. Another patient was there but she didn’t care. She told Doctor “Mom will not take me to that Doctor. I will go by myself. Just give me number.” Doctor nodded & gave her number. She managed to put that paper in her pants & came out with smile. Rina called psychiatrist & took appointment of next week. She needed help & she knew that with certainty. She had some savings in her purse. She could use that cash for fees. She was so scared when she finally went to psychiatrist. Her heart was beating so fast. She was feeling so scared. When she finally went inside, she told everything in single breath. Step by step Psychiatrist told her that shopping was her obsession due to guilt. She wanted to tell all to her mom. But then psychiatrist said slowly “I feel your mom know it all. You don’t need to worry.” Rina felt shocked. “But?” “Go & ask her.” She felt so scared. Then psychiatrist asked her about other things. He gave her some simple medicines too. She felt so tense when she went home. She went directly in kitchen & asked her mom “Do you know dad have affairs with different women?” Her mom gave her angry look & said “Rina you got so many dresses for keeping your mouth shut what more you want?” Rina didn’t say anything. She just went in her room. After that she kept visiting psychiatrist for some time. Slowly her mental issues reduced. She began her career as cloth shop owner. She really enjoyed staying with clothes whole time. She never talked much with her parents. She was introduced to one man by her one customer. She dated him for sometime then she got married. She shifted from that house & she took breath of relief. She never wanted to visit her parents again. But she did it sometimes since she didn’t want her husband to know reason. She was so scared that he might become just like her father. But he didn’t. Her married life was positive one.

Ravi was so excited to read that news. Finally, his love Priti managed to get victory. She got success in her project. He was so happy now she would have smooth career. Ravi knew that her career was her most important thing for her. She needed a break & now finally she got. This was very important for her. He knew that this was going to be her key towards success. She was feeling so upset since she didn’t get success. He knew that she never promised him to love back. But he didn’t mind. It was okay. He could marry someone else. He was not going to force her to love him. But he wanted wonderful life for Priti. He smiled to himself. He began to feel that he seemed like some character from movie or drama. He knew that he promised himself many times that he would never go after one-sided love. It was so stressful. He had to admit that Priti was special. He remembered that day when she met him. He was so sad regarding death of his uncle. He was feeling so hopeless. He went in bank to fulfill some formalities which his father insisted he needed to do. His father always loved to show him as inferior. He felt so sad when he was told to go in bank & complete formalities. He began to ask questions but staff was expecting him to know all. He felt so nervous. Priti was writing & filling form just beside him. She didn’t exactly talk with him. She just kept that form in such a way that he could see it. He immediately sensed what was missing & he started to complete formalities. He smiled happily towards her. She was such good help. He wrote all perfectly. He felt so nervous about all. He was so happy. He knew that Priti always gave importance to her career. But when she began to plan regarding enjoying with him suddenly all looked different. He knew that he needed to consider her happiness but suddenly his happiness seemed more important & she convinced him that it was her happiness too. He started to tell her his plan to enjoy a day with her.

        Priti was so sad. She was working so hard for days but nothing was working. When Ravi called her, she was feeling so sad. She just wanted to kill herself but then she remembered his sweet innocent face she suddenly began to feel he would be very sad if she died. He might get depressed or he might do something to himself. She took his call. She decided to go out with him. She was not certain that he was planning to marry her but still she sometimes hoped that he would. She knew that she was not planning to give commitment but still in case of Ravi she wanted to change that thought. Ravi was special. It was not about his looks. She felt so secure when she looked towards her. He was not someone who had superiority complex. She knew that Ravi would give her freedom. She wanted to forget all negative incidences. She knew that with him it would be great. She smiled. She went in her room. She began to select her dress. She wanted to look great for Ravi. On that point her mom came. Mom “So what are you planning to do?” “I will go out for some time.” “I know but what about your job? We all know your company can no longer manage to give enough money to you. You need to change it.” She was not happy about it. She slowly said “I will discuss this later mom. Now I am going out with friend.” “Who? That Ravi!” She didn’t want to say yes since if she said yes then they all would start complaining. Ravi was nice boy but not perfect husband according to them. He didn’t belong to their circle. She knew that very well. Most importantly Ravi’s father was too bossy. She was not planning to get married with him but still she felt nervous. She decided that she needed to call someone else too. She said “& Nisha.” Without second thought she messaged Nisha. Nisha immediately wrote yes. Nisha never said no to her. Nisha always wanted to go out. Nisha was girl of rich family who always lived in empty house. She smiled happily since her mom couldn’t say anything now. Mom “Ravi might get friendly with Nisha. If you manage to make this match making then you will surely get some investment for your future.” She felt so shocked. She never thought about it this way. She didn’t want to force marriage on Ravi. But now her mom started suggesting this. She began to hope. She started to think positively about it all. She smiled happily. She sensed that she needed to do this. She began to search for dress but it was not to impress Ravi. She was planning to become matchmaker in this.

        Ravi came there with plan to make Priti happy. It was very important for him. He was so happy. He needed to keep positivity in his mind. He didn’t need any negative thinking. He was shocked when he saw that Priti was coming with Nisha. He was so frustrated. He was not expecting this. Nisha smiled towards him immediately. He gave forced smile. It was little bit frustrating. He was not expecting Nisha. Nisha was clearly not interested in him. Nisha began to look towards windows of shops. Nisha was just interested in shopping & movie. He smiled to himself. He felt that he was over imagining. Nisha would never think about him that way. Priti came towards him & said “Nisha is such nice girl. My company didn’t have funds. Nisha’s family is so rich…” He nodded. He began to guess where this conversation was going. He was no longer positive. “I don’t understand what you are suggesting?” Priti just wanted her money. “I want you to marry Nisha.” Ravi was so shocked. He decided that he wouldn’t insist Priti to marry Nisha but he never thought Priti would reach to this level. “I don’t understand what you are saying? Nisha & I never had that sort of feelings towards each other.” “I know but I feel you care for me so much. You need to understand I need investment.” Now this was shocking for Ravi. He didn’t love Priti so much. This seemed like something out of TV drama. He asked angrily “What are you trying to suggest?” Priti began to look towards him angrily “You said you love me you can do anything for me. Then marry the girl whom I suggest!” Her voice was so loud that all began to come towards them. He was so embarrassed. He was hoping that Nisha wouldn’t hear them. But he saw that she was standing in corner. Nisha’s face was burning with anger. Nisha heard everything. Priti was injected with something & taken away in Ambulance. Nisha was crying so loudly. Ravi tried to take her to Doctor but she told him to keep away. She called her dad. Some people who worked for her dad came. That video was available on entire media. Ravi’s family got so angry. Ravi’s father kept abusing him daily. He just wanted to finish his life. But he kept going. Nisha didn’t call him for some time. Then one day Nisha called him. She told him that after their video those who agreed to marry him were just selfish people so she was going abroad. She was crying so much. He didn’t understand what he supposed to say. He couldn’t say he would marry her since he knew that it wouldn’t work. Their marriage would be disaster. After some time, Ravi married another girl whom he met through arranged marriage. His life became normal. He became father of one child. But he was shocked when he heard that Priti was married to some rich widower. She married for her project. She launched it.                                   Searching for sound of birds

Sarika began to listen to sound of birds. She felt so confused in her mind. She knew that bird was supposed to sang on that time. She loved sound of bird. She just couldn’t imagine life without them. But today birds didn’t come. She didn’t understand what was happening. It was so scary for her mind. She needed to hear sound of birds. It was really pleasant one. She kept feeling positive by that sound every time. She knew that those birds would help her to keep positivity. She needed to hear them for hours. She wanted to enjoy wonderful feeling due to that sound. She kept feeling hopeful due to them. She could see those pretty birds on tree branches. She wanted to fly with them. She smiled happily even by sound of those birds. She began to form pleasant song in her mind. It was her every day routine. But today she didn’t hear them at all. She felt so lonely. Her life was stuck on that point. She kept listening to music of those birds. She was feeling so positive but now those birds were missing. She began to get lonely in her heart. She didn’t understand how could those birds stop coming. When she kept searching in sky, she was so upset. On that time voice of Pratap came from behind. “Sarika! Where are you?” She knew that she needed to do cooking. Pratap was going in office very soon. She needed to fill his tiffin with9 tasty food. It was her important duty. She knew that she had to do all that work. She would be just burden on family if she didn’t do it. It was sort of upsetting. She was working so hard for hours but it was not helping them that much. She was just exhausting herself for nothing. She felt so sad by this feeling. She didn’t understand why did she had to be so useless. She could be useful too. She told herself that everything would be just fine. She just needed to remain positive. She ran in kitchen. Pratap smiled towards her. He didn’t scream on her when she became late. But still she felt so nervous. He just gave her one sweet smile. But still it was frightening for her. She felt so nervous. She immediately ran to refrigerator. She began to remove essential things one by one. She carefully arranged them on Kitchen platform & then she began to cook. Pratap was watching her carefully whole time. She knew that he wouldn’t criticize her. He would be careful to answer her properly. She needed to keep positivity. She knew that she got best husband. She took out her measurement cups & spoons. Then she carefully began to measure it. She needed to make it properly. It was very important for her. She needed to cook things perfectly. Pratap was observing her every action. He was paying full attention to her. He knew that he needed to keep control on her. He never screamed on her. But he knew that she was scared of him. He didn’t mind it at all. It was good in his eyes. He wanted his wife to remain in his hold. She must not enjoy full freedom. She needed to serve him properly. After all he was one who was earning. She needed to keep it in her mind.

         Pratap was observing Sarika. She was doing all in perfect way. He knew that he wanted her to be careful regarding all. He was not going tolerate any wastage by her. She needed to measure all & keep it properly. He knew that she was doing it nicely. He wanted to her to stay as per his wishes & she was doing it. He knew that she was shivering. He didn’t understand cause. He asked her “What happened Sarika? Are you alright?” She gave nervous smile to him. She said slowly “I wanted to see birds.” “So? Go in window & see them.” “But they are missing.” “Oh!” Pratap gave her confused look. “I don’t understand so birds are not around & that is something which is upsetting you so much!” “Yes.” She began to feel little relaxed. She started to think that he understood everything. It was great news. Now he would understand her feelings. It was sort of relaxing. Then he smiled & said “It’s due to weather. Weather is not good now a days so birds are vanishing. We can’t do anything about it. Very sad.” Then he returned his attention to mobile & said “I got message from Boss. Will you hurry up little bit?” He once again smiled sweetly. She nodded & began to cook. Soon she managed to get ready his tiffin. Then she began to do his breakfast. She needed to do all for him first. She could do her breakfast & other things of morning later. She needed to do all for him. It was important. She sensed it from heart. She wanted to find birds in sky. She sensed that those birds were important to her. She kept watching in sky for hours for long time. She started to feel so upset. She sensed for Pratap those birds were not so important. She began to think about others. She began to sense those birds wouldn’t be important for any of them. She was only one who needed birds. She felt so much pain in her soul. She kept looking with hope towards Pratap. She was getting so stressed. But Pratap didn’t show any emotions.  She kept feeling negative towards all. She decided to concentrating on packing lunch & cooking breakfast. Finally, all was over. Pratap looked towards her & said “Why you are looking so sad?” She smiled. It was not natural. She said sweetly “I was just tense about getting right sort of taste in food.” Pratap smiled. Suddenly he began to feel so guilty. She was such kind hearted woman. He was acting to harsh. He said “No worries. If Lunch took to so much efforts, I will start eating from canteen…” “No! Don’t do that. I will wake up earlier.” He was so shocked. His sentence turned in wrong way. “I never blamed you for being late.” “I know…” She felt so scared. Her every word was coming out wrong. She just wished only if she could see birds in sky. She wanted to smile in life again. She said slowly “I just want to see birds again.” Pratap was so shocked. She was talking about birds again & again. He never admired birds so much but he never hated them too. He knew that she watched birds sometimes but he never thought. Her obsession would turn in such complicated way. He decided to take it lightly so he smiled & said “Oh! You like birds then you can go in balcony after sometime they would come. She smiled happily. Suddenly he took interest in birds too. Pratap was no longer interested in controlling her. He just wanted her to feel happy. He went in his room to get ready. He thought everything was normal. He didn’t feel that birds would lead to such big trouble.

           Sarika was so happy that she was permitted to watch birds after doing her work. In her house she used to watch them for hours. She needed to do her studying before. She always used to study properly for hours. Her marks were nice but they were never enough for her parents. They wanted her to be proved topper. Then only she could get rich man to marry. She tried hard but she couldn’t get excellent marks. She worked for hours to get them. It was so important for her.  She needed to study for hours. But still she got just limited marks. She worked so hard to find suitable man. Her parents kept pressuring her to find one very soon. Finally, one day Pratap asked her for date. They got connected through one internet site. It was nice chance. She took it & she married Pratap. She knew that Pratap was nice man but she also knew that he wanted to dominate her. His family & friends kept advising him. He never screamed on her but her parents did. They always screamed on her. She could see Pratap’s friends doing same with their spouses. She was so scared. One day they arranged party in one hotel. All Pratap’s friends were invited. She was so happy. Pratap introduced one man as his best friend. His best friend was with wife. Sarika was happy to get connected with her but soon she saw marks on her body. Pratap’s best friend’s wife was trying to do hide them but she knew that Pratap’s best friend was hitting his wife. She shivered. She didn’t want same for her. But she kept feeling one thing. Her parents didn’t want her back. Pratap’s best friend was hitting his wife. One day Pratap would surely do same with her. She didn’t want to be beaten by her husband. She began to get so nervous. She once again went towards window & start searching for birds. She didn’t find any in sky. She was feeling so nervous. She didn’t want Pratap to hit her. If those birds kept coming he wouldn’t. She just kept moving ahead in balcony. Slowly she even started to stand on railing. It was strong one. She was certain that it wouldn't fall. She just needed to see that bird. She was so tense. She didn’t even felt fear of falling down on ground from seventh floor. She just wanted to see bird.

       Security person was watching around when one man came running towards him & said “That madam from seventh floor is trying to jump from balcony.” “What?” “Come with me.” Security person ran towards point where that man was pointing. He could see that Madam was standing on railing. He didn’t understand why. He tried to scream but he knew that Madam couldn’t hear on seventh floor. He was so scared. He looked towards WhatsApp. He was Pratap’s number in it. He immediately called him. “Sir, Madam is trying to jump.” “What?” “Let me show you.”  Then he recorded it. Pratap was so shocked. He didn’t say anything. He just ran out of office while telling all it was emergency. He didn’t tell anyone but by that time it was already recorded & shared by many. All were saying Sarika was doing suicide. But Sarika was laughing since she finally managed to see few birds. She didn’t come in her senses & she didn’t even sense she was on corner. It was worst for all those who were watching. Pratap literally ran towards lift with all. He opened door & ran inside. Many people came with him. Pratap screamed “What are you doing? Come down.” Sarika turned around. She was about to fall when she caught pillar & then she immediately came down. It was so confusing. She slowly said “I was just watching the birds.”  He was so angry. “What’s wrong with you?  How could you behave this way?” Sarika looked around & asked “What happened?” Pratap was looking so angry. She never saw him that angry. Slowly tears started to fall out of her eyes. Pratap felt so nervous. He showed her clips which were claiming she was doing suicide. Soon Cops came forward too. They started asking questions. She kept telling she was looking for birds. Finally Cops turned to Pratap & said “Tell us truth. Do you have arguments with each other?” Both said no together. All people from society nodded. One neighbor said “She have strange obsession with birds. She came to my house to visit my caged birds at least 20 times once. My wife felt so shocked. We want to suggest Pratap a visit of psychiatrist for Sarika but then we felt…” Cop completed sentence “He will take in wrong way. Come on! Look at her. She was standing on that corner. She could have died.” Pratap immediately asked “Can you recommend one?” Cop nodded & gave one contact number of psychiatrist. Pratap immediately called before Cop when they fixed appointment. Cop left. Sarika didn’t say anything. Sarika tried her best to control her desire to watch birds but she kept doing it. Finally, time of appointment came. Pratap explained. Then Pratap went out & Sarika talked with psychiatrist. Then Psychiatrist called Pratap back. Psychiatrist “Actually Sarika’s parents were not so nice towards her. Her childhood went in atmosphere of fear so she felt tense. After marriage she was nervous then she saw your best friend is beating his wife…” Pratap “What? He is! Sarika never told me.” He looked towards Sarika with shock. Sarika “I am sorry. I shouldn’t have said but Doctor said…” “No. You should have told me. I shouldn’t have invited him in our house. I shouldn’t have taken his advices.” Sarika looked towards him with shock. Pratap was so angry. Pratap “How can someone treat wife like that?” Sarika started crying slowly. She was glad that she married to nice man. Pratap confessed “I wanted to control my wife but not this way & it was idea of my best friend. Now I want Sarika just to be happy. I don’t want to control her any more. I just want my wife alive & safe.” Pratap didn’t want to cry but he couldn’t control tears. Psychiatrist slowly patted on his shoulder & said “Don’t worry.
