Getting Divorce
Ravi was feeling so sweet & happy in his mind. His wife was not that much happy. He knew that extra work was making his wife exhausted but they didn’t have much option. He lost his job after that he needed to find work so he started this job of event management. It was so nice. He used to work so hard in his company same way he was working now. He was getting nice payments too. But in this work, he couldn’t afford staff so he needed someone who would work without money so his wife was forced to join his work. His wife used to do work as clerk in one small firm. It was working great but when he began his business. He needed help. He didn’t have much option so he started calling his wife time to time. Finally, his wife needed to give up that job. She also wanted to have her life. He could see it in her attitude. He knew that she considered him inferior. He never heard her saying it on his face but he was certain she was saying it behind his back. He heard saying this in her mobile conversation. She kept talking about it. She felt so nervous. She knew that she needed to move in right way but she never did it. She always discouraged him on every point. He tried to tell this to his parents but they never understood him. Every one was blaming him for losing job so now he needed to tolerate all. He was feeling so sad. He tried to keep his positivity but his mind kept going on negative track. He knew that he needed to do all on his own. He slowly looked towards his phone. He needed to check his Bank balance. He knew that it was low still sometimes he hoped that it might increase. He was feeling so negative. He needed to keep hopes but he was feeling stressed. He was so happy when he was working. Now he had finished. He began to get tense. He needed to call client. He knew that it was time to return home. It was feeling so stressed. Now he was going to face his wife Hina. He knew that Hina was going to complaint. This money wouldn’t be enough. Hina married him with expectation of high salary sadly he couldn’t able to fulfil it. He lost his old job then next one was this business. This business was always with less income since he needed to invest first. Every one was telling him that he needed to give some time. He kept telling it to Hina but she was not happy. He knew that one day he would earn more. On that point his mobile rang. He sensed that he had message from Hina. He began to read ‘I want divorce.’ He kept reading it. This was his life not some fiction story. His wife couldn’t leave him like that. They were married for two years. They were planning for baby. He was working hard to make more money. It was so shocking.
Hina already talked with her friend. She was planning this for long time. She knew that her family wouldn’t keep her. They wanted her to adjust with Ravi but she was not ready. Ravi was just burden in her view. When she began to date him, he at least had one decent job now he even managed to get fired from his job. He was telling that company was closed. But she suspected that he was only one who got fired. She didn’t want to live life with loser like him. She decided that she needed to get divorced & start her life again. She knew that she needed arrangement for it. She contacted her previous Boss. But she was shocked when her previous Boss suggested marriage with her. She was so happy. She couldn’t believe it. She didn’t want to talk about it to Ravi at this point. So, she just decided to pack her things & go away. She managed to pack most of the things. But she was still tense. She knew that she was moving ahead very fast. It was essential. She decided this when her mother started to suggest her to get pregnant. They all began to talk about baby. She knew that all began to plan for child. She was hardly part of that conversation. But they all decided to ignore her. She was so shocked. She was supposed to decide but they decided to ignore her. She wanted to get rid of this situation. She began to feel so frustrated. She started to think in different way about every plan. She knew that it was perfect. So, she called Cab & she arranged all. She needed to limit her luggage but she couldn’t. She was feeling so negative about all. She wanted to take all but still she decided to end her desires. She smiled when door bell rang. It was driver. She instructed him to take her luggage. She called special Cab from private company. Her friend didn’t stay nearby. Her friend was manager of one small hotel in hill station. She was going to stay there. Her ex-Boss was going to come there. She was planning to marry him. But she needed divorce. She didn’t feel any regret of breaking her marriage with Ravi. She hated him & finally she got rid of him. She just regretted about her things which she couldn’t able to take. She looked towards them. But then she controlled her tears & left house. She decided to keep her key with Society security. She didn’t want key of Ravi’s house. She was starting her life. She didn’t want anything from old. She wanted freedom & finally she was getting it. She was so happy. Her life was finally moving on right track. She was happy to move ahead in life. She was smiling with hope once again. Finally, she was out of that house to take risk in her life.
Ravi came back running in his house. He knew that it would be empty but he was so scared to accept it. He started to look around. It was giving same look. No one could guess that she had just left him. He felt so alone & lonely. He wanted to cry but he couldn’t. His tears were locked in strange way. He knew that it was his mistake. He was too selfish. She wanted to do her job but he didn’t agree. He insisted her to join his business. He didn’t pay her anything. He just forced her to keep working. He acted in wrong way. He knew that he needed to correct it. He began to feel so sad. He began to call her but she was not taking his calls. He decided that he needed to hide it all. He began to plan everything. He started to set in mind everything in right way. His wife left house. He needed to find her & convince her to come back. He suddenly remembered his parents. He decided to call his father. “Dad Hina left me.” “Where did she go?” “I don’t know. She just wrote she wanted divorce.” His dad didn’t say anything for some time. Then his dad asked “Did you had any argument?” “No Dad! I just can’t able to earn enough.” “I know that. But it was not in your hand.” “But she didn’t like it.” Then his father kept quiet for some time. Finally, his dad spoke “I will come with your mom to stay with you. Why don’t you just pack up & come to stay with us?” “What do you mean Dad? I have my business & my projects!” “I know but I don’t want you to remain alone there in that house.” “Dad what do you mean? I am not coward. I will manage all.” He said it with determination. He started to look around in house. He brought one cardboard box. He started to drop one by one all items which belonged to Hina. Then he sensed that he needed to inform her family. He decided to call her mom. He called & her mom immediately took call immediately. “Auntie I want to tell you that Hina left house & she wrote me that she wanted divorce.” Her mom started abusing me. “This happened because of you. You are such useless person. You can’t able to keep one job or even manage to make her pregnant.” This was so painful. He wanted to answer back & tell she didn’t wanted baby. But he couldn’t speak. His tongue became such useless. He couldn’t talk. She kept blaming him but he said nothing. It was so painful. Finally, he said “She never wanted baby. She dislikes me. I am sorry. I can’t keep your daughter happy.” “What is use of confession now? My daughter had already run away. You should have told this before. Then we could have done something.” He didn’t want to cry but he started it. Finally, he disconnected call. He knew that her parents wouldn’t leave him alone. He tried his best to adjust but after sometime her parents came to visit him. Her father began to scream on him “Where is my daughter? What did you do to her?” Then her father slapped him. He was so shocked. Entire society was watching that drama. He tried his best to convince that he did nothing but still they kept screaming abusing. They even started to threaten him that they wanted to call Police. He was so scared. But other member of society told him to show her message. Then one lady from Society called Hina. Luckily Hina took her call. Hina told her parents clearly that she was not interested in staying with Ravi. She was planning to live with another man. Her parents tried to convince her but it was useless. Finally, her parents decided to go home. But they still kept blaming him. He felt so alone & hurt. They kept blaming all on his less earnings. He didn’t say anything. He went inside. He cried loudly. He didn’t care if any one heard it or not from outside but pain was unbearable for his mind now.
Ravi’s neighbours were listening to his crying. One member said “I feel he need help.” “Yes. One divorce lawyer & one counsellor too. He married to wrong woman.” All nodded. They sensed it long ago. When Ravi lost job they all noticed change in Hina immediately. “But what if he does something to himself?” Suddenly all got more tense. They started knocking on door loudly. One member called family doctor told all. That doctor gave name of psychiatrist. Ravi wanted to kill himself but he didn’t have much option. He needed to open door. He opened it. When all entered in house, immediately one neighbour started suggesting psychiatrist. He was so angry. He ran to hit that person. All stopped him. No one got aggressive or angry with him. But they took psychiatrist's appointment & it was decided who would go with him. They were so nice. He never thought about them that much. But today he felt gratitude towards them. He needed someone. On that point his mom called. She was crying on phone. He wanted to console her but he started crying too. Finally, one neighbour took phone & gave confidence to his parents that they would help him. They were tense but they began to feel positive. His neighbours gave that positivity to him. One neighbour stayed with him. He felt so nice due to it. Next morning another neighbour took him to psychiatrist. After that visit slowly psychiatrist taught him ways to cope up with crisis. He listened to him. After two days he began to feel little better. He began his work. He needed to employ help. He decided to spend money. He needed to work. He called lawyer. He prepared divorce papers & sent them to Hina’s parents. Soon they managed to get date of court. They kept it on mutual ground. Luckily, she didn’t demanded alimony so he didn’t need to get tense about it. Soon he sensed that she was planning to marry with her ex-boss. He felt sad but he accepted it. He congratulated her with smile. On that day he finally moved on. He decided to forget Hina. He began to live his life. He started to enjoy his life in his own way. He learnt to remain happy alone. It was not hard. It was easy. He didn’t hurry up regarding finding next partner. He was not certain what he wanted next. He just decided to remain alone for some time. After all he was getting over his pain & learning to laugh. He wanted some time. He decided to give it to himself.
