Adventure story. 779 Stuck inside dream

                          Stuck inside dream

Jatin was creating wonderful dreams that would give positive impact on mind. He was carefully analyzing each part of dream. In that dream there were different things. He was observing them carefully. He was trying to keep them in mind. He didn’t understand how could he become so alive in his dream. He wanted to come out of it. But he felt as if he was stuck in it. He wanted to move out of that dream. Still, he kept walking in that dream. He began to feel so upset. He was getting suffocated in dream. He started to feel negativity in mind. He had different concepts inside dream. His dream had unique routes of hope. But still he wanted to come out of it. He began to try hard to come out of it. He started to try but it was problematic. He couldn’t find way but then suddenly he came out. He was on his bed. He took deep breath to relax himself. He was getting so frustrated by everything. He tried to tell himself to think peacefully. He looked beside him. His sister was sleeping on other bed. They forced to share room since their house was small. But their beds were on two corners of room. He hated idea of sharing room & his sister Ritika had same feeling. He wanted to live his life but his life kept getting stuck in odd circle. It was so upsetting. He needed to get over this dream. Most importantly he needed to wake up properly. He didn’t understand why this was happening. He knew sleeping was natural thing for him. He always slept. It was odd that he felt this way. He looked towards his sister Ritika. She was sleeping peacefully. It was really odd that she was sleeping normally but he was feeling so disturbed. He didn’t understand why he didn’t feel he could wake up from sleep. It was normal activity. He began to get so stressed by all. He needed to go to sleep. He also needed to wake up. This was totally normal he did it every day. He smiled at this odd thought that he would wake up. He looked towards his cupboard. He began to look towards his clothes. They were so bright & colourful. He observed them carefully. He needed to get ready for college properly. He wanted to look great. He started to get ready. He stood before mirror. He was wearing every thing in way that would make it look great. He was observing his look with smile. He was good looking no doubt. He started to act in positive way. His look began to show hopes in his mind. His style was interesting. He knew every one began to admire it. He looked towards his sister. Ritika was sleeping peacefully as always late for school. She never took life & style seriously. He smiled. He knew that he was elder so he needed to act responsible. He didn’t try to wake her up. She didn’t like it if he interfered in her privacy. But he needed to wake her up so he started loud music on his mobile. Slowly she started to wake up. He managed to get totally ready to go when Ritika was wake up & sitting on bed. He went away to his college while pretending he didn’t do anything different just took his mobile & left.

           When Jatin reached to college, he was once again confident about everything. He was feeling so sure. He observed that all girls were smiling towards him. He was special for them. He was so happy. His life was moving ahead. He went in his class room with full confidence. He began to think positively about all. He sat on one bench. He was sitting alone. This year he didn’t have any friend to sit beside him. But it was okay. Someone would surely sit beside him. He was observing those boys whom he knew. All of them managed to find friends. He was only one left alone. He began to feel negative. He took out his books & notebooks. He began to study. He came here to create his career not just to have fun. He needed to concentrate more on getting better marks. He needed to start his career in bright way. He felt so nervous in his heart. His mind was getting so negative. He kept telling himself that everything would be fine. But it was not happening. He started to read books. He wanted to remain topper in college & he was working hard to manage it. He was so busy in reading his book that he didn’t sense when Nisha came near him. Nisha said nervously “Jatin professor told me to do project with you. Actually, yesterday they were making group of two to complete project. Just two of us remained without partner.” He felt so sad. He didn’t want to land in this situation but sadly he landed in it. He didn’t want to do project with Nisha. He disliked that idea. He looked around. He knew that he didn’t have partner. He said slowly “Okay.” Nisha “We will divide work. You will do your part of project at your home. I will complete my part at my home. Then we will join it.”  He nodded. Then she decided which part she wanted to do & gave him responsibilities of remaining. He just nodded. He didn’t want to do project with her at all. He knew that it was essential for his degree so he was doing it. He took information from Nisha & immediately Nisha ran back to her bench. He felt so odd. First time he felt that he was not getting appreciated by girls. He was considered odd person. He looked towards Nisha. She had returned to her bench & giving him angry look. He immediately started to read in his book. Then he turned his attention to project. He soon sensed that it would look odd if he didn’t tell her anything. He began to think about thing he should tell & he immediately thought one. He screamed loudly & told her “I will complete my part of project in 10 days. I hope you will do same.” Nisha’s face became pale. Entire class was looking towards them. Everyone knew now that he wanted his project to be completed soon. He was watching her just for it. He was not interested in her. He sensed that she was lying about him. Nisha felt so nervous. But she gave one smile & said “I need more days but I will complete it quickly.” He didn’t say anything. He just nodded & turned his attention to his work.

          Jatin felt so hurt. He began to get negative. He knew that in his college he was not considered positive. He started to sense he created one fake dream about himself. He began to feel so sad. He wanted to feel positive regarding all but his mind kept turning in negative way. He concentrated his best on his studies. He began to work on project too. He wanted to complete his work as soon as possible. He wanted to submit that project quickly. Once that project was completed, he would never need to see face of Nisha. He was hoping that it would happen soon. His mind was turning so negative on every step. But still he kept studying harder & harder. He knew that studying was his only way to go out of negativity. He felt so sad & negative. He wanted to keep his mind positive but nothing was working. He needed to concentrate on studying. He started that project in college only. He kept sitting in library after college. He collected all material needed which was available in library. Soon he began to work on it. He lost track of time. He kept working until Librarian didn’t come & told him that it was his time to leave since Library was closing. He felt so shocked when he looked towards time. It was so late. It was odd that his mom didn’t call. He took out mobile. He saw his mom called him at least twenty times. But he didn’t take her call. He was so shocked. He immediately called his mom back. He knew librarian was giving him angry look but he needed to call his mom. His Mom took call after sometime. Mom “Where are you?” “I was in library completing project. I am coming. Explain you all when I reach.” He disconnected all & apologized to librarian. He immediately started to go out of library after packing his books in his backpack. He went out. He sensed that it was already dark. So, it was time to take dinner & sleep. He shivered. He was so scared. He knew sleeping was not sometime difficult. It was most easy task. He tried to calm himself. He slowly took Taxi for his home.

          Jatin’s mom was so tense. She was so confused. Jatin never acted like that before. It was so odd. His mom was watching window. She saw that Jatin came out of Taxi. He was shivering in odd way. She didn’t understand how could he shiver in this hot weather. She was looking towards him & she began to think something was wrong with her son. She waited until Jatin didn’t come inside. She immediately asked “What is going on Jatin?” Jatin gave nervous smile. He was not certain what exactly he supposed to do. Jatin tried his best to remain positive. Jatin said slowly “Nothing much. I just couldn’t sleep properly in night.” His mom looked towards him nervously & asked “I don’t get it. Do you have nightmares?” “NO Mom! Not nightmares.” “Then?” “I feel as if I can’t wake up next day.” His Mom started laughing. Jatin sensed that his suggestion seemed just like joke to his mom. Mom “I felt so scared. This is such nonsense.” Now Jatin needed to smile too. He gave one forced smile & went in his room. That night he just sat outside & completed his project. He submitted his part of project in just one day & sent it. He didn’t sense his mom was observing him. Mom “Why you are not sleeping?” “I am just not sleepy Mom?” Mom sat beside him. Mom “Do you really feel that you can’t wake up?” He nodded slowly. Mom didn’t say anything. Then she slowly said “I feel we need to visit Psychiatrist.” “I am not mad.” He said this angrily & he started crying. His Mom didn’t say anything for some time. Then she said slowly “We will not tell anyone.” He was so scared to sleep. He nodded. Then he said to mom “Wake up me. I am going to sleep. Don’t let me sleep forever.” His Mom nodded. His mom was so tense.

          Next morning when Jatin’s Mom woke up, she went in Jatin’s room. She touched Jatin’s shoulder he woke up immediately. Mom smiled & said “You woke up quickly.” “No Mom I don’t” He screamed those words so loudly that Ritika woke up. Ritika “What happened?” Mom smiled & said “Nothing.” But Jatin began to scream “I can’t wake up from my sleep. I am getting stuck.” Ritika felt that it was joke & started laughing. Jatin began to abuse her. Ritika was so shocked. Their father rushed in their room. Jatin’s dad asked “What happened?” Jatin began to tell that he couldn’t wake up out of sleep. His Dad looked towards Mom. Mom didn’t say anything on that point. Then when Jatin felt that they believed him, he went to get ready for college. After he left mom described everything in details. It was so upsetting. Dad decided to take appointment of psychiatrist for evening. Ritika was listening to all but she decided to keep quiet. She didn’t want to get involved in this mess. After Jatin came out, they told him about appointment. He agreed happily. That day when he went in college, he just sat on his bench. Nisha kept looking towards him nervously but he didn’t pay attention. Then in evening he went to psychiatrist. After listening to him psychiatrist told his parents to go out. Then for long time psychiatrist talked with him. After sometime he called back his parents. Psychiatrist explained them about his mental issue. It was due to Jatin’s loneliness in college. Psychiatrist told them after treatment he would be fine. From that day Jatin’s treatment started. Slowly Jatin’s fear started to reduce. He began to enjoy his sleep in night & in college he learnt to enjoy his life. He no longer cared about what others felt about him. He was little bit tense about project but it got nice grade too. He never paid attention to Nisha. He went ahead with his work. After that day he never cared what others talked about him. He was not stuck in his dream he was stuck in desire of receiving respect from all & he finally decided to forget it. He learnt to enjoy his life. Finally, he got good marks in college & he decided to change college that year. He was bored in that college. He wanted to try new one. He was no longer interested in staying trapped in that college. He sensed that he was trapped in college not in his dream so he left it for new one which was with subjects of his choice. He decided to select college for subjects not for finding friends.
