Protecting her son
Tarun looked out of window. He observed entire scenery was so pleasant. He kept looking towards it’s each angle. It was so positive. He could feel touch of wind. He was watching those trees. He had returned back to his village after so much time. In city he used work for one company. He was working so hard but he loved his work so it was nothing. It was so nice. But slowly everything was changed. His company started to face losses. His owner was nice person & talented too but just situation was not on his side. He felt so lonely on those times. He wished only if he had money. His owner needed large some. His owner tried hard to get settled. But he couldn’t. His life didn’t go ahead in positive way. His owner kept trying but he didn’t find how to handle all. Company needed large finance & it was not possible for him. He felt so sad. He wanted to help his company but he didn’t have money. It was so important for him to have some. But sadly, he didn’t. He began to feel so negative about all. Finally, one day owner called all staff & told them for survival of company he needed to reduce staff. He turned out one whom owner wanted to remove. He accepted it as faith. He came back in village. His parents didn’t have much wealth but they had small land. He began to cultivate it. He didn’t like that idea. He wanted to go back to his old city life. But soon he sensed that it was not possible. His father was too old to manage. His mom wanted him to take responsibility. He was so angry. He was not planning to give up. He decided to discuss for new jobs in city. It was important for him. He didn’t want to keep his life dependent on old lands. He saw how did his father kept staying in that village forever. It was not pleasant idea. But when he talked with people in village they all loved that idea. Some even told him that they would purchase his land & house. But he didn’t sell it. He didn’t admire them but still he needed them. He couldn’t take risk of letting them go out of his hands. They were his assets. He needed them. He wanted to keep them. He looked out of window to watch that land. He wanted to confirm that land was safe. He was looking towards their beauty. But he needed to accept since his father got sick. He couldn’t able to grow anything on them. He tried so hard. He kept trying to reach great crop like his father. But it was not happening. He began to feel so uneasy. He knew that he needed to work hard for hours. He was watching those green plants on that land. His mom came from behind to give him tea & snacks. Mom “Don’t worry. I will plant something on it. I know little bit about it. I use to work in farms when I was not married to your father.” He wanted to ask her why did she stopped after marriage. He disliked the way his father permitted his mother to live relaxed life. His mother was supposed to work hard. He wanted his mom to do all work. He didn’t want to keep feeding her without hard work. “Yes, you must do it.”
Tarun’s mom went in kitchen. Tarun’s mom was willing to work in farm. She could do few extra work to help her son. But she didn’t like his tone. Tarun was talking in such arrogant way. It was upsetting. Tarun supposed to talk nicely with her. She always acted sweetly with Tarun. But Tarun was acting in wrong way. She told herself that he was upset due to his father’s health. She felt so sad. She tried to convince herself everything would be fine. It was so upsetting for her. She didn’t want to feel negative in her mind but her heart kept feeling negative about entire situation. She started to feel that Tarun didn’t appreciate her work. She did all cokoking & she managed to do it as soon as possible. Then she changed her clothes & went to her husband told him “I am going on our land to grow something.” “What? But you are handling many things already!” “I know but we need earnings.” “Why he is not going?” “Come on! He lived in city he didn’t know much about farms etc.” She felt so sad. She knew that her husband cared for her. She wished only if he could get well soon. But she began to sense that it was not happening. She felt so upset. She wanted to feel hopeful in her mind. But she couldn’t. She immediately kept plate of food beside her husband & told him “You must eat it on time. Now I will go.” “What about Tarun?” “I will keep his plate in his room too.” She went in his room with plate & explained same thing to him. Tarun was not happy. He didn’t want to eat cold food but he knew that he didn’t have much options so he nodded. Then his mom went away to work. He was glad that some one was working on that land. Now he would get at least some money. He wanted his mom to work. He sat on wooden cot. He wanted to smile & relax. He began to feel so happy. He knew that his mom was working for him. He looked towards plate of food. He didn’t need to eat it. He would take it with him & then he could give it to other people. He wanted to eat something tasty & spicy. He liked to eat on stalls. He enjoyed that life. He smiled. But before going out he needed to talk with dad. He needed to confirm that everything would go in right way. He went in his father’s room. His father was reading something. He knew that his father once again trying to learn something. His father kept reading different books. His father kept learning different skills. He hated it. Tarun “I don’t understand what is use of learning now? You are so old. You can’t even work in farms what is use of learning new things for you now.” He said this & smiled. His father felt so sad. His father never thought his son would get happiness out of his father’s pain. But it was happening. His father regretted to be alive like burden from that moment. His father felt staying alive was crime.
Tarun went out of his father’s room. Then Tarun packed food in tiffin. He was going out to eat something. He would use some food of tiffin with spicy food items from stall. He slowly started to walk around. He was walking in style. He began to feel that he was receiving lots of respect. He was some one from city. He knew that they were assuming that he had lots of money. He was certain that they wouldn’t know about his true financial status. He felt so stressed when he thought about his actual situation but when those people started to treat him like King, he felt totally positive. He began to get dreams which would bring smile in his mind. He wanted to think hopefully. But his life was so much stuck with negativity that it became impossible for him to survive. When he walked on streets with smile, he began to feel new hope. People on street started to look towards Tarun. He smiled. Suddenly he became confident. He decided that he was rich person in their eyes. He felt that he needed to impress others & it was happening. He smiled happily. Then when people started to talk with him, he pretended in such a good way. He sat in one shop & began to talk with people about his flat in city. He told so many things. He knew that he was lying but it was needed. He began to boost more & more about his money. It began to get more & more interesting. He was so happy. He even gave away his mother’s cooked food to people. They admired it. He was so happy when he returned home. He began to plan to do something which would make his home look good. He decided to spend money on interior of this house. He smiled. He knew that he had some money. On that point his mobile rang. He was shocked to see that he had one job opportunity. It was so important. He needed to it. He immediately messaged yes. He ran to his sick father & told him that he was going. Dad “But your mom had not returned from work & I am all alone?” “Go to hell. I need to go.” Tarun began to laugh in strange way. First time Tarun’s dad sensed that something was wrong with his son. He wanted to argue but he didn’t. He could see in eyes his dad same expression which he saw in his eyes when his killed dog as child. His dad shivered. His dad was weak. Tarun smiled. It was not possible for his dad to hit him. Tarun “I am going.” Suddenly his dad screamed “You are going nowhere.” Tarun looked towards him in strange way. Tarun began to remember why he went in city. Since his dad had anger issues, his mom kept him away. He never thought what was exactly that issue. Now he began to sense. His old dad who was totally sick began to smile in strange way. He was watching him. Suddenly his dad stood up. His dad began to smash hands on cupboard. He was shocked when door of wooden cupboard came in his dad’s hands. Tarun wanted to run away but before he could his dad started hitting him with wooden door. He began to scream in pains.
Tarun’s mom was shocked when she returned home. Tarun was fallen in pool of blood & his sick dad was dancing around while laughing. Tarun’s mom shivered with fear. She immediately called doctor. Doctor “Stay out of house I am calling cops & coming with ambulance don’t go inside or he will kill you.” She didn’t understand what she supposed to do. She knew that Tarun was as inhuman as his father. She didn’t want to risk her life to save her son. She began to think Tarun was acting just like his father. She started to think Tarun would be same way. She felt so sad. She just stood in corner. Luckily her husband didn’t try to hit Tarun again with wood. But he was kicking Tarun again & again. Finally doctor & ambulance came with cops. Cops managed to control Tarun’s dad & he was taken aways. Tarun was taken in hospital. He was so injured that he didn’t manage to survive more than week. Tarun’s mom began to stay alone in home. She was feeling so sad. But she knew that she didn’t have much option. She tried to protect her son so hard from her husband but it didn’t work. Finally, Tarun died. She knew that Tarun was not nice towards her still she didn’t want to see him die like that she tried for a month. Then she finally moved on. She began to live in that house in such a way as she was always alone without much hope.
