Visiting her house
Ajay was
packing suitcases carefully. He was keeping dresses one over one properly. He
arranged all. He wanted his things to look nice. He knew that for first time he
was planning to visit house of his girlfriend Ishita. She was so special &
rich. He was so lucky to have her as girlfriend. All his friends always envied
his luck. But he was scared. He was going to act in wrong way & manage to
damage all. He needed her. He knew that he couldn’t survive without her. If she
would leave him all were going to taunt him. He didn’t want that. He remembered
very well before he started to date her everyone used to taunt him. His job was
not so great. His looks were nice but still he was not impressive due to less
salary. He had nice one but his elder brother was Manager of one famous
company. His brother got that job due to influence but finally his brother was
earning more. He knew that soon his brother was getting married to one rich
girl. That girl was rich but not like Ishita. Ishita was not just rich. She
also belonged to circle of celebrities. People wanted to meet Ishita. Just for
meeting Ishita many people made friendship with him. He was so happy when many
sent him cards on birthday. Many even managed to get some time to visit his
home on his birthday. He even got few gifts. Before this just his elder brother
used to get all. He used to remain unimportant in his family until Ishita
didn’t enter. Ajay smiled happily. He was getting ready to impress her family. His
mobile rang. It was Ishita. He immediately took call. She was talking in such
restless way. She needed to feel positive about all. Ishita “I want you to wear
that green shirt...no…no wear blue one. I feel they like blue one.” “Okay.” “&
what about pant?” He began to laugh. She was acting like his mom. “I am grown
up now!” She began to laugh too. “I am little bit tense.” “Little bit?! You are
totally tense. What do you feel your parents can do?” She didn’t say anything
for sometime then she continued. “My father is not so fond of me. When I told
him that I have selected boy, he immediately started criticizing you. He didn’t
even need to listen anything about you. He just hated my choice &…” “I am
not financially secure.” She stopped talking. “You can say it. We are planning
to become husband & wife. We need to discuss these things without feeling
nervous.” She took deep breath & continued “I want to marry you & you
will remain my love but my father will always keep criticizing you. It is not
about you. It is about me. He dislikes me.” “No worries. I like you. We will
handle all together.” She gave nervous laugh. He could hear it even on mobile.
She was so sweet. He needed her. He didn’t find if she didn’t get money. He
needed her.
Ajay packed his best shirts. He changed
many shirts since when he would travel, he would reach directly in Ishita’s
residence. He needed perfect shirt for good impression. He knew that Ishita was
coming with him. She would once again demand change. But still he wanted to try
his best. He was planning to give full support to Ishita. He was not going to
say no to her any suggestion on that day. But he knew that his father-in-law
wouldn’t approve him already. If his father hated such wonderful daughter, how
could he admire any son-in-law. On that point Ishita came. She looked towards him.
She smiled & said “Let’s go.” It was odd. She was not suggesting any
changes. He was expecting it. But when she didn’t, he just took just bag &
said “Let’s go.” She nodded. She was feeling so pale. She never looked that
way. Even on their first day she was nervous but not this pale. He began to
feel her father must be worst person in world. He decided to prepare himself
for worst. He started to discuss on her favorite topics to relax her. He knew
that when they would begin to talk on positive things she would soon start
smiling & forget all about these negative thoughts. She was like that. She
got negative easily but she became positive faster. He knew her so well. They
were just perfect for each other. He was certain about it. They waited outside
for Cab. Finally, their Cab came. They sat happily in it. When Cab started Ajay
began to feel so relaxed he started to look out of window on that point he
suddenly heard song. He felt so scared. He looked beside him. Ishita was
singing. He smiled. Everything was normal. It was just his fear. But soon
driver said “Madam, do you want me to start radio?” Ishita “No. I like to
sing.” Ajay decided to support driver. He wanted her to stop singing too. “But
Radio will be relaxing.” Ishita gave him one angry look. He felt so nervous.
She was looking towards him in such odd way. She never saw him that way. He
began to feel that she was changing. She was not acting like normal herself. He
didn’t understand this change. He decided to say it frankly. “Can I tell you
one thing?” “Yes!” “You are looking little bit different.” She smiled &
said “It always happen this way. Mom even felt my step mother had curse me so
she even did many rituals. But nothing works.” She laughed nervously. He didn’t understand what she was
suggesting. But he decided to not argue so he just nodded. He felt so nervous.
Everything was going in wrong way. He wanted to feel hopeful but he was feeling
nervous. Ishita began to sing again. But this time driver started radio which
managed to reduce impact of her voice. Driver was getting so angry & he was
getting tense. He felt so glad when she finally fell asleep. He didn’t even
sense that it was odd. She never slept during day this way.
Ishita was
getting so tense. She wanted to stop singing that song but she couldn’t so
finally she decided to close her eyes & keep singing in her mind. She
didn’t want any one to hear that song which she kept chatting in her heart. It
was so odd. She couldn’t make any thing right. She kept feeling negative. She
knew that now Ajay would see her faults. He would start hating her. It always
happened this way. Whenever she brought her any friend in her house next day
her friend started to ignore her. It seemed like she became worst curse for
them. They didn’t exactly fight with her. They didn’t argue with her. They just
gave sweet smile & gave excuse to stay away from her. She knew same thing
was going to happen again. First Ajay wanted Ishita to not sing. But when she
just kept quiet. He began to feel so nervous. He started to think that she was
getting away from him. He was no longer interested in him. He wanted to keep her
happy. He wanted her. She was perfect match for him. He began to get so nervous
regarding all. He knew that her father didn’t approve him. He decided that he
was going to support her in any case. Slowly he began to close his eyes too.
But he never dreamed that he would fall asleep. But he managed to fall asleep.
He didn’t wake up until Ishita didn’t pat on his shoulder & said “Wake up.
We have reached to my house.” He looked out. He was expecting a big mansion but
it was small cottage. It didn’t even look like house of rich person. He felt
disappointed. But he decided to support Ishita & now he was not going to
back out. He knew that he wanted to marry rich woman but now he was going to
marry Ishita even if she was not rich. He was going to support her. He smiled
& got out of car. He started going in that cottage. Ishita kept looking
towards him with nervous smile. When they reached to door, she just kept
standing. He was waiting for her to knock door. He just waited. Nothing
happened. Finally, he decided to knock. He began to knock. He sensed door was
open. He went inside. In seconds he sensed that Ishita closed it from outside.
Suddenly voice of one man came. “If you touch my daughter I will teach you a
lesson. She can’t move against wishes of her father.” He was so confused. He
ran towards window. He couldn’t see anything. He began to feel so upset. He
heard about Ishita’s father. Her father was aggressive person. Many suitors
claimed that he locked them in room & kept them without food for days. He
knew it all but he felt that was gossip. He kept trying to find way out. He
waited. Soon voice started to abuse him. He kept trying to calm down that man
but it didn’t work. After sometime he heard footsteps. He was so scared. He
didn’t heart Ishita’s voice at all. Then after sometime he heard footsteps. He
began to bang door like mad person. “Open it. Open it. You can’t hurt Ishita
like that…I will call cop.” After sometime door was opened. Driver of his Cab
was standing outside. Driver “Sir it is strange but just Madam was there.” “But
I heard man’s voice!” “No Sir. It was just Madam. I made video.” Ajay saw it
all. He felt so hurt. Then he suddenly got one idea. “Maybe we need to go to
Police station.” Ajay knew one thing that he needed money & he was going to
get it. He was no longer in love with Ishita. She was trying to hide her
madness in that process she was hurting all. He needed to teach her lesson. He
went to Police station. Cops took complaint. They told them to go home. After
sometime Ishita called him. Ishita “I will compensate I don’t want negative
publicity.” Just after hearing her, he began to get breathless. He disconnected
call. He called Doctor. He was sent to hospital. Doctor checked him & asked
“Did you face some mental trauma recently?” He wanted to answer but he began to
cry suddenly. It was hard to control his emotions for him.
After
watching Ajay’s crying doctor slowly offered him water & suggested visit to
psychiatrist. “This is mental issue. Better to talk with psychiatrist.” He
agreed. When he went out, he received Ishita’s call again. This time he took
it. Ishita “You are showing all symptoms. You are mad man. I will do…” “I had
enough. Just give compensation to me & that driver. We stop this.” She
laughed. Then she told to come Police station. He was so scared but he got
there. That driver was there too. They got compensation & case was settled.
He was so scared whole time. He just wanted to run away. Ishita looked like
Witch to him. He tried hard to control his fear. He took breath of relief when
he came out. He immediately called for appointment of psychiatrist. He was
feeling odd. He was looking behind again & again when he was certain she
would follow him. He had money. He even invested it but he was so scared. He
didn’t want to go out at all. He felt so stressed. He needed treatment but his
family already began to look towards him in odd way. He waited for his
appointment. Finally, it came. He told all to psychiatrist. Psychiatrist
listened to him. Psychiatrist started his treatment. After sometime he began to
feel relaxed. He soon even managed to earn good income. One day he went in one
party on insistence of his family. He was shocked when he sensed Ishita was
coming there. His brother gave odd smile & said “What happened? I thought you
got over her, don’t you?” He felt so hurt & pained. He didn’t like his
brother’s betrayal. But it was not useful to comment. His psychiatrist taught
him to not take baits on such situations. After sometime Ishita came in party
fully prepared looking beautiful with her new boyfriend. Their date of marriage
was fixed. He looked towards her. She looked just like some beautiful
celebrity. She smiled towards him politely. He smiled back. He assumed that she
took mental treatment or hoped she did. He didn’t feel any anger just small pain
which he decided to ignore. She went away to chat with others. He also did same
thing. It was nothing big. Even when many people asked about them, he smiled
& said “She was too rich for me. I just can’t afford her.” All laughed.
Ishita heard it & nodded towards him with approval. She wanted him to lie
& he did it since he wanted to stay away from her. He had settled case now
he was not planning to discuss it further after all he was not hurt physically
so it was over. He decided let others suffer & learn. He couldn’t change it.
