Adventure story. 775 Monster in soul

                             Monster in soul

Arpita was working on that project for hours when she began to feel so stressed out. She just needed some tea. She was preparing snacks & drinks for long time. She kept arranging them all for hours. She knew that her family wanted everything to be ready. Her children would come from school soon. She was doing this project just for her desire so she needed to keep her family happy. She knew otherwise her family would be upset & angry. She did all household chores & now she was planning to work on project. But today she was feeling so upset by all. Her project was not going ahead as she wished. She knew that she needed to appreciate her work but it was not working. She was feeling upset & sad while doing it. She didn’t earn much through this work. She needed to do for hours. At beginning she used to love it but now she began to get irritated. She remembered how did her husband Mandar said “Arpita you are just wasting your time on nonsense things. You need to act in logical way.” Mandar always told her to keep positivity in her mind but now he didn’t want her to work on these projects anymore. She created these projects for long time but she never managed to get capital for them. She always remained stuck in her own circle of issues. She kept thinking that something right would happen in her life after sometime. But it didn’t. Now Mandar started to tell to forget about it. It was so odd. Mandar wanted to her to earn at least a little bit. It was frustrating for her. She was feeling so negative in her mind. She knew that she loved her work & she was not even certain any other thing would help her to move ahead. She was married woman with two children but none of them were truly attached to her. As babies her kids used to love her but as they grew up their world changed. Children didn’t exactly dislike her but she was not important for them. She just supposed to do all household chores for them. They supposed to move ahead in life while she supposed to just remain behind. She knew that she couldn’t even blame anyone for it. She tried so hard but her project didn’t move ahead. She felt so sad. She sometimes began to think about getting some loan but then she remembered Mandar’s face when she asked little bit money for sofa cum bed in hall. Mandar was so upset. He wanted her to save. He was creating two houses for their children. He was planning to keep separate house for them after their marriages. He was arranging all. His children must get everything in best way. She agreed to all. But now sometimes she began to get doubts in her mind. She did it all with good faith that her kids would help her.

           Mandar was in office but his mind kept going back to Arpita. He knew very well that Arpita was not happy in her life. He knew that he couldn’t able to pay attention to her. He wanted to create happiness in her life. But it was not happening. His every suggestion managed to hurt her. Worst thing was their children were not behaving properly. It was not about her. Their kids began to get detached from them step by step. He didn’t understand where did all went wrong. But he felt as father a failure. He was expecting to share his disappointment with Arpita but life didn’t move that way. Arpita kept blaming all on him. He didn’t understand why did Arpita took in her mind that he was suggesting their children that she was someone low. He never did that. He admired her skills. He knew that he didn’t give her capital to show them before world since he didn’t have enough savings. Their kids were too demanding. Most of the money needed to spend on classes & tuitions of their children. Then their kids demanded money for extra activities like sports dancing or singing… he never discouraged them but he felt sad when he paid money for skating & they didn’t go even for ten days. They just went on first day & decided that they didn’t want it. It was not only one case. It was happening again & again. Sometimes he felt that he needed to stop wasting money on his children. If he stopped spending money on their unessential expenses then he could surely manage to give money to Arpita. He was thinking about it for long time. He was trying to tell his kids indirectly. He kept telling them that they needed to save money for their mom’s project but they didn’t seem positive on it. He felt as if he triggered anger towards her in their mind by saying it. He was trying to help her but he managed to put her in more trouble. After that incidence kids started to act in worst way with her. He wanted to handle things but he couldn’t manage anything in right way. He was feeling so upset. He was losing all one by one. First, he used to at least feel certain about affection of his family. His parents always admired him. Even when he didn’t got job immediately. His father was positive towards him. His father kept telling him that everything would be fine. Life didn’t go the way he wanted but he never suffered this way. He knew that Arpita didn’t love or admire him. He was stuck in worst misfortune. She didn’t talk with him happily. He was feeling so frustrated. He just wanted to live with Arpita alone. He wanted his life like old times.

          Arpita completed her project. Then she began to close her laptop on that point doorbell rang. She went to open it. She saw both kids were waiting to come inside. She wanted to smile but she couldn’t do it. She disliked them so much. Suddenly they began to scream on her. She was so shocked. She was not expecting this. They pushed her away. They ran towards her laptop & they began to throw it. She was working so hard for long time. They destroyed her entire work before her eyes. She started screaming & crying. But her kids didn’t stop. They began to laugh loudly. She was so shocked. She held them as babies. She took such good care of them. But she never thought one day they would turn out monster like this. She began to fight back but she was weak. Soon she sensed that her entire laptop was destroyed. There was not any hope. She began to remember every step which she took to create that project. She felt so sad. She suddenly sensed her world was shattered. She began to cry loudly. She started to feel so negative. She couldn’t stop crying. Kids looked towards her. They started to feel scared now. They just decided to run away. She kept crying whole time. She decided that she didn’t want to live with Mandar any more. In her eyes Mandar was responsible for all. She just went to cupboard. She started to pack her suitcase but she sensed that she couldn’t go anywhere. She didn’t have any place. She began to cry loudly. She started to feel so negative. She decided that she needed to get rid of all this & she ran towards Balcony without second thought she took on railing. She looked down. She wanted to jump. But she stopped. She could see her kids laughing & enjoying. They were hoping that they would dominate her. She was so stressed. She didn’t understand how could she create those monsters. She didn’t come down. She just kept taking steps ahead until she didn’t fall. When Arpita fell down on ground, her scream scared all. Her kids looked towards her with shock. They wanted her to suffer but her suicide was something they were not expecting. Her kids were so shocked. But then soon they sensed that it was beneficial for them too. Kids began to cry & started to tell everyone their mom was unsound. All people started to gather. Cops came. In every conversation kid kept telling their mom was unsound. Then Mandar was called. Mandar kept telling all his wife Arpita was sound but no one seemed to believe him. His kids were more convincing. Then after watching CCTV, it proved that it was suicide. Kids were questioned. But they lied. They told all that their mom threw away all things. Inside house there was not CCTV so Mandar didn’t able to prove anything. It was declared that Arpita was depressed due to failure in career so she killed herself. Mandar nodded to all. Mandar was in his sorrow. He didn’t understand what was happening. He kept crying for days. But after sometime he returned to work. He began to think about things. He saw that laptop destroyed & he knew one thing that Arpita would never do that. He began to doubt. He kept observing his kids. They were laughing & enjoying. They were not sad about their mom’s death. He sensed something was wrong with them. He wanted to complaint but there wasn’t any proof so he just decided to observe them. Soon he heard them talking. He knew that they destroyed that project for money. He cried so much. He saved so much but he got nothing out of it. He didn’t understand where he supposed to go. He began to have nightmares. Finally, he decided to visit psychiatrist on suggestion of his friend. He told all. Psychiatrist listened & started treatment for his mental stress. Slowly he got over his issue. Then he called lawyer. He just divided all in three parts. His kids were not major but he kept it under his name as guardian. He managed to give them full freedom that way. He was not planning to improve his kids since they were soon going to enter in adult age. Just one or two years were remaining after death of Arpita their confidence was increased. Mandar was so scared whole time. His psychiatrist kept counselling him. Finally, his kids became major. He transferred their share in their name & he decided to left town. His kids were so happy. They gave him big party. He laughed & smiled in party. But he was still scared. Finally, when he went away, he smiled. Entire time he kept remembering Arpita’s face. He just wished only if he could have managed to shift like this with her. But he never went to anyone to get help to do counselling in their marriage. He regretted it so much. But any way he had her sweet memories in his heart & one mystery in his soul how did his kids become such monster? Neither he nor his wife even acted in such evil way. But he knew that he needed to accept fact so he accepted it & started his new life in new town.
