Adventure story. 752. Samir's nightmares

                            Samir's nightmares

Samir was watching her carefully. Samir came in restaurant with hope to find suitable partner for life. He looked towards girl. She smiled & said “I am Kavita.” He smiled back. He looked in her eyes. She was so nice. He began to admire her beauty. She also had odd sort of attraction in her. He felt as if he was getting obsessed with her. He was certain that it was just first-time attraction since he never met her before. He saw her from his office window. She was waiting for bus or some other vehicle. She didn’t seem to get it. He kept looking down. He knew that it was odd. He didn’t need to act like some novel or movie character but still he acted. He kept smiling. Then he decided that he needed to talk with her. He was uncertain why he felt that way. But he felt that way. He decided that she was his need. He needed to chat with her & marry her. He needed someone special in his life. She was that girl. He literally went down one day. He stood beside her without cause. He knew that he didn’t have anything to tell her. But still he wanted to say something. He smiled. He was about to talk when she said “You were watching me from that office window for long time don’t you?” He felt so shocked. He didn’t sense that she noticed. He was not expecting her to pay attention to him. He wanted to feel positive about her in thoughts. But it was not enough that he just considered her positive. She needed to consider him positive too. She smiled & said “I am Kavita. So, you want to date me?” He couldn’t say she was fast since he was watching her for many years. It seemed like forever. He needed to approach her. She was so nice. She did it herself. He smiled & nodded. She looked towards mobile & selected one date. Now he was sitting before her in restaurant she had selected & date she had decided. He was happy to do that. He was about to start talking but she began to talk first. “I have such busy life. It wanted to find someone special but until now I don’t.” So, she made it clear to him that he was not special one. He felt so sad. He looked towards her in anger. Kavita “Why you are looking towards me that way? This is just first time & you started to give those angry looks already. This will surely show what you will do after marriage?” He felt so nervous. He started to think that he was showing too much ego. He smiled towards her & said “I am just little nervous.” She started laughing. “I understand people often give these sorts of angry looks to hide nervousness too. I am glad you confess.” After that she kept talking & he kept nodding. He started to feel that he had selected wrong sort of girl as date. He didn’t like her any more. She was beautiful but she was not someone who would give him respect. He knew that he had humble background & she would consider it a bad thing. She would call him poor. He just concentrated on finishing his dinner & then they went to their own homes. He just dated her once & then it was over. He took transfer from that office. He avoided watching out of window. He was glad that she didn’t call him.

        Kavita was not happy when she didn’t get any call from Samir. She was not in love with Samir but he was not supposed to reject her. She was beauty & he supposed to fall in love with her like other men. But Samir didn’t call her. She knew that he was observing her for long time but after that one date it stopped. She didn’t like it. She needed to find out what happened. She knew that if she tried to do that all would think that she was in love with him. She would appear inferior before world. Kavita was so stressed. This was not first time when this happened to her. She knew that many times men took interest in her then they just chicken out when they sensed that she was straightforward. She knew that she didn’t have any fault in herself except her straightforwardness. It was problematic for them. She smiled. She decided that she would wait for few days then she would go in Samir’s office. She could pretend that she was his girlfriend for long time. She knew that many people saw him observing her. Since she made sure that people would notice. Especially staff of his office & his boss. Kavita was not planning to give up so easily. Kavita marked in calendar. She waited for ten days. Then finally on tenth day she went in Samir’s office. She was so certain that she would surprise Samir. But she felt confused on entering. That office had small staff but every member was busy with work. She slowly went to one person & asked “Do you know where Samir sit?” “Samir? Who? Madam you need to tell designation. You don’t know staff on first name basis.” She felt so shocked. “Really? Then how did you talk with each other?” “Oh! We never gossip & if needed we surely call each other as brother or sister.” This was shocking for Kavita. Kavita felt so confused. She wanted to dig further for information. But that time Boss came out from cabin & started to ask “Who are you?” “I am girlfriend…” “You must keep your private things out of this office. I don’t permit wives to come & here is one girlfriend came to chat. Go away or your friend will lose his job.” She didn’t care for Samir’s job but she felt so scared that this Boss might call security. She just apologized & went away.

          Samir was so tense. He was hiding under office table whole time. As soon as he saw her entering in office, he decided to take help of office staff. He was not expecting his Boss to cooperate but his Boss knew Kavita very well. His Boss immediately agreed to help him. He saw Kavita  was gone still he kept sitting on that floor for some time out of fear. He was frightened. He slowly came out. “Boss she was trying to catch me. I don’t understand why! I just saw her from that window & then I went on one date in restaurant after eating we went to our houses. We don’t have any more connection.”  Boss “I know but that woman is like that only. She doesn’t like rejection.” He felt so nervous. He didn’t understand how could he handle this. He just needed to stay in that office for few days then he was going to be transferred. It was so upsetting. He knew that Kavita would keep irritating him. He immediately turned to Boss & asked “Can I get vacation?” Boss gave him confused look but then Boss agreed. It became clear to him that he now needed to hide in his house. He was so scared when he got out of office. He started to get nervous. He began to look around. He kept feeling that Kavita would come back for him. He went home. While Kavita returned home. Kavita immediately recognized Samir’s Boss. He was person who acted in bad with her when she didn’t talk sweetly with his family after his son rejected her proposal. It was not as if she was angry but it looked odd if she kept connecting with someone who rejected her. Now she was certain that she didn’t need to contact Samir. It would look worst. She decided to forget him. So, Samir was trying to hide from Kavita when Kavita already managed to forget him. Kavita began to plan for some new date. Samir went home & he just stayed inside. He didn’t even go in market to purchase anything. He locked himself inside house whole time. Finally in end when he was supposed to go out of town. He decided to take small walk. When he was walking, he suddenly heard Kavita’s voice. He shivered. He began to feel so uneasy. Slowly world around him started to shake. He just fell on ground.

       When Samir woke up, he was in hospital. He was so shocked to see Kavita with some other man. It was crystal clear that this man was her boyfriend. Kavita said in voice which told all that she was just pretending “Poor soul just fainted on street due to nervous breakdown. You need psychiatrist.” After watching her he began to scream & ask for help. He could see she was holding knife. He began to run around until finally Nurses & paramedics didn’t took his hold & injected him to sleep. Kavita was watching it all with shock. She didn’t sense that by mistake she took out her nail filler instead of pen. They were writing their names & addresses in hospital. They admitted to Samir so they needed to take responsibility. Kavita had sympathy for him. Then she sensed it. She smiled nervously put it inside & took out pen to sign. When Samir woke up, he was already in mental institute. He started to tell all to psychiatrist. Psychiatrist slowly explained him that he had imagined all. He still couldn’t believe it. He didn’t understand why did he began to lose his mind like that. Psychiatrist told some medical issues which he didn’t understand. But he decided to take full treatment. When it was over, his fear reduced. His mind started to relax. He was already transferred. He shifted there. He started new life. Kavita called him few times to ask about his health. But he didn’t find her scary. He just felt that she was irritating girl whom he couldn’t tolerate more that few minutes. He didn’t understand why did he admired her or why did he feel scared of her. Kavita was nothing unique. She was one girl with beauty & ego. But Samir was glad that finally his nightmare was over. He didn’t start to date immediately. He decided that he needed sometime. He was not obsessed with finding someone any more.
