Beena saw that her mother was working in the kitchen.She was waiting for long time with hope that her mother would play with her.But her mother was so busy.She was sitting there with her dolls and toys.She slowly looked outside.Her house was big From one door.she could easily see that her grandmother was sitting outside in hall and her brother was enjoying Television.Her Grammy always acted that way.She always gave television to her brother only. Beena would hardly able to watch television because even if her mother never able to fought with her Grammy and gave it to her still she didn't like to watch it alone without her mother.Her mother was always busy in kitchen.Beena was getting bored when suddenly door was knocked by someone.She saw that someone entered in home.She slowly looked from crack in that door and on every time Beena looked out slowly that scene which was happening outside.There was a poor woman standing in odd dress and with her stood a small girl.That girl was just about age of Beena.Beena started looking at her.That girl was poor but not dirty like other poor kids.She was very clean.It seemed that her mother was keeping a new cook.This woman was supposed to cook in their house.Then Grammy came there and started asking her lot of questions.When Grammy started screaming this way,Beena always hated it.She felt so scared.She just turned around to go back and once again she sat with those toys.After sometime she noticed that this woman was entered in kitchen with her mother and that little girl continued sitting out side.Beena kept looking at her.Slowly that little girl smiled and she came near Beena.That small girl"Can you give me water Madam?"Beena started laughing.That small girl looked confused.That small girl"Why are you laughing?"That girl was hurt now.She felt that Beena was laughing on her so Beena smiled and said"No one have called me Madam until now.I am just small girl."That small girl sat near her but only after keeping distance.That small girl"But your Mom is master of my mom.My mom is her cook and servant so I am your servant.""Who told you this nonsense?You can go ahead.If you go to school.You don't need to act as servant.I will teach you."That girl smiled and said"But I hate school.""No one like to study but our parents force us.Don't your Mom force you."That girl nodded negatively.Beena"Strange indeed.Do you want to play with my toys?"That girl nodded happily.Beena began to show her toys then she asked her"What is your name?""Laxmi."Beena wanted to smile again but she controlled this time so strange Laxmi is goddess of money and this girl seemed to lack that thing totally.

No Mom.I am fine."Her Mom looked irritated.Her mom"Don't gave attention to your Grammy. She is like that only."But then suddenly Raju started screaming because her Grammy wanted something and her mother forced to go outside.Every time it was just the same her mother every time consoled her.She was so busy.Beena just went inside once again.Then her father came.She heard his voice and she felt so scared.She suddenly remembered every thing about Laxmi and on that moment she heard her father calling her name.She just ran in toilet.She was sure that in that place.She was alone and safe.Her father saw that she was there and went away.When Beena heard his footsteps turning back,she felt relieved.She waited there for sometime.Then she finally came out.But inside her heart she knew that she could not do this trick every time.She just sat there and then suddenly her father grabbed her from behind.She started hitting him.But her father was laughing.Then when she started crying her father released her.Her mother was also looking at her with shock.
Beena's father watched as his daughter ran away from him as if he was abusing her.He felt so confused and scared.Beena just didn't want to talk with any one so she ran away in backyard.But she still heard that her parents were talking about her.Her father"What's wrong with her?She acting so strange.She is my daughter and she did not even like to come in my arms."Grammy"Those girls are always that way boys are a lot better.Look at Raju so good boy.""Will you stop it Mom?Your good boy had scored nothing in school while my daughter is always topper in class.She is nice girl.I just want to know that why did she upset with me?"Her mother "Don't worry I will talk with her."Then her mother came near her.Her mother angrily"Why did you hit your Papa?He was hugging you with affection and he had bought so nice toys for you...""I don't want them.He was going to beat me.""What are you saying?Your Papa never touched you.""But he did try to hit me today.""When?He was not hitting you.He was playing hide and seek with you.Don't you remember it?"Then Beena remembered it.Her mother was right.They used to play like that but she didn't want play with her father now.She was scared.Her mother tried to convince her for hours but when she didn't achieve anything.She finally went inside.After that for many days her father tried to convince her to play with him.Her Grammy continuously blamed her for upsetting her father.But she didn't go near him.Finally one day her mother told her that she must come with them.She didn't want go out with her father but her mother forced her so she finally went on a picnic.In that picnic whole time her father was sitting by her and trying to persuade her in some conversation.But she didn't show any willingness.Finally he stopped his efforts and then finally that day came when he had to go back so he went away and Beena relaxed.But for her everything was not okay her Grammy was taunting her every day and Raju started bullying her.Many times Raju came near her and slap on her back and ran away.She decided to ignore it.But her hate was slowly increased.She always saw Laxmi's mother coming in their home without any guilt.She just wanted justice.But she didn't understand way.
