Cold and aloof
Neeta since childhood never liked her big brother.When all other big brothers were either attached to their sister or hated their sister.Her brother Raghuveer always stayed aloof and cold towards his sister. Raghuveer was never much of brother for her.But when her parents were searching for her groom every one was so excited.But Raghuveer never cared much. Neeta always found it strange.But today she received call about her mother's death. Raghuveer was calling.But this time he was still detached while calling. Neeta was crying after hearing this news.But Raghuveer didn't give any reaction. Neeta found it so odd. Neeta called her husband and they both arranged car to Lonavala. This was the place where Raghuveer lived alone with their mother. Neeta found it strange indeed.No one preferred to like alone like this on a hill station.It was odd in her view.She didn't say anything before kids but when finally they were in car and kids already slept.She began to talk with her husband Dinesh. Neeta "I just don't understand why didn't Raghuveer feel sad even on Mom's death.She always loved him from her heart.She even stayed in that lonely house with him.She cooked food for him.She was forced to live like this without any one near her all alone.It was not easy for her.It was like living a lone without civilization.""Come on.You are exaggerating.Your Mom was happy there.""So you think Raghuveer is doing right?"There was anger in Neeta's voice. "Did you call Mom's friends?"He turned head negatively.Then Neeta got irritated. Neeta " Did you inform any one?"Neeta was crying and screaming at same time. Dinesh could clearly see that she was getting hysteric due to her brother's behaviour. He was doing nothing except sitting there like statue. Dinesh" Neeta calm down.You just sit near your mom.I will make the calls."Then he turned towards Raghuveer."Can you tell me where is telephone diary?""I don't know."Now Dinesh wanted to scream on him.But he saw that Neeta was already crying and kids also began to cry.After all Neeta's mother was so nice lady even Dinesh could feel that he was also crying. Dinesh was so shocked to notice that Raghuveer was not even crying.He was suddenly doubtful about Raghuveer's affection towards his mother.Then Dinesh began searching for phone number book in cupboard. Dinesh searched for long time.That time seemed like hours to him.He was clearly hearing voices of crying from his wife and kids.He really thought that he needed some one to console his wife.Finally he found that phone book.He phoned each and every one.He was shocked to find out that every one was interested in his mother-in-law's death.In fact every one was on verge of crying.Now he had biggest question in life.Why did his brother-in-law was avoiding it?He began to sense something was wrong.Then he suddenly remembered Doctor.He came out.
Dinesh"Where is Doctor?""Doctor checked Mom and went away.""And where is death certificate?""He said that he couldn't gave.They will do her postmortem.""But why?Haven't he checked Mom before?""No.I don't know Mom's Doctor."Now Neeta began to insult Raghuveer Dinesh tried to control her.Kids started crying.But Raghuveer just stood there and after some moment he just left the room. Finally some came near Neeta. "Neeta why are they taking your mother's body to hospital?" Neeta was scared of this answer.But there was no option, she wanted to find Doctor.But too upset to do anything and Dinesh was scared because he was suspicious about Raghuveer. "Actually we don't know about Mother's Doctor so we are forced to do postmortem."That lady looked shocked.That lady "You don't know even about your mother's Doctor.My god."Neeta wanted to scream at that lady and tell her that she couldn't come here easily.Her brother and mother were staying so isolated was not her crime.Any way body was taken to hospital.Every one was sitting their in hope of some juicy news. But finally body came back and Neeta's mother's death proved to be natural.Finally they took away her body.Whole time Raghuveer was sitting there without expression.They all saw that he was cool and aloof about everything.
For some days they all decided to stay there. Your mother mostly went out on tours."Then Neeta suddenly remembered increase in her mother's expenses.That person "Actually Raghuveer hated people.He just remain locked in that room.You are his sister. You must show him to some Doctor.I tried to convince him last time.But he was not that willing but you can insist."This was so shocking to them.After that they slowly went near Raghuveer's room.They knocked for long time.Finally it was opened. Dinesh"But why don't you stay with us?You can like it.You must see our city at least once.""I don't want to."Then once again he got busy with pebbles. Neeta" Will you look at me for once?I am your sister."Then Raghuveer turned around and started looking at Neeta. There were no emotion in his eyes. Neeta "Come on don't you want to stay with people.You are a human being not a ghost.""People never like me.If I went to talk with them,they don't like it and it took lot of efforts."Then once again Raghuveer got busy with pebbles. Dinesh "We must took him to Doctor."Neeta was easily convinced. Raghuveer's room was worst.It was locked from all sides like prison. Raghuveer created a beautiful prison for himself.Since their mother was dead.Now he was fully shut down from world. Raghuveer didn't even seem ready to meet other people. Raghuveer "Why shall I go to Doctor?""For regular check up."For some time Raghuveer didn't say anything.But then he noticed that they were not going to go out of his room.Until he agreed with them so he nodded. Neeta could clearly saw that he was agreed because he wanted them out of his room.Then Neeta came out.She started crying. Neeta"He was strange but I never thought that it was some mental problem."Dinesh "Now don't worry.Tomorrow we will take him to Doctor."Next day they took Raghuveer to Doctor.When Raghuveer came out,he reacted such a way to sunlight that it became clear to them that Raghuveer had not gone out of that house for quite long time. Neeta"When where you gone out last time?""I don't remember."Dinesh "Come on.Don't you want to make some friends and enjoy life.""I am basically alone and I think relationships are undesirable for me."After saying this Raghuveer didn't say anything.Even when they tried to talk he just ignored them.Finally they reached to that psychiatrist. Neeta thought that Raghuveer would get angry or react.But he just went inside peacefully.Then Doctor told them to come inside for some time they talked.Then Doctor talked with Raghuveer alone.Finally Doctor called them.Doctor"I think Raghuveer is suffering from Schizoid Personality Disorder.Don't you thought that he is strange before?"Neeta "Actually until now my mother used to stay with him.I was never much involved.Since she is dead now ...""You took a good decision of bring him hear.In fact I think that he should be brought here before only.""So can he be cure?""Actually I have to hospitalized him first.He will be better but I can't say cured and perfect.Some faults are going to stay.Actually I can't guarantee anything.We will try.So can you admit him?"Neeta and Dinesh nodded.What else they could do now?That psychiatrist was their only hope and they were sure that he would improve Raghuveer.
