Crying
Ramesh went inside lift. It was his normal time of office. After him few college students entered. He looked at them with suspicion. He never saw college kids in that building. Then two more people entered. Lift was totally packed. He could clearly sensed that there was no place to breath. He just hated it when such things happened. He decided that he didn't want to go in that lift. But he was already inside. He just couldn't move his body. Ramesh screamed " I want to go out." But that was impossible. Boss " But it was not your mistake. You could have waited but then you can't run after them. This was totally wrong. But soon he felt that his hands were free so he couldn't be kidnapped. He looked around. He saw that it managed to hit on some pipe. He was so confused. He didn't understand that place. He stood up. Then he sensed that he was standing in terrace. But which terrace? It was totally unknown terrace. He looked down from terrace. He sensed that his building was just little away from there. He didn't want any one to see him so he just ran away from terrace. He started running down. Then he sensed that he had to take lift otherwise he would create noise. He just ran inside lift. He was shivering with fear in lift. He sensed one thing. He just went away in some way on that terrace. He never sleep walked until now. It could be risky. He could never imagine risk of it. He just didn't want to do that again. Then he started go inside lift when he suddenly sensed that some one was following him. He turned but then he suddenly sensed that this fellow was gone. He was so scared. He went in lift and pressed ground floor button. Then he just ran out of building. He was so afraid. He just ran inside his house. His watchman was sleeping. He didn't sense his entry since he went inside with soft footsteps.

He shivered. But then he saw it was his Boss. Boss " Stop boosting about it. If Police heard this, they might start to suspect you." Ramesh felt so scared. Every one else started to feel fear to so they all managed to vanish in two minutes. Then he went home. As soon as he reached home, he forcefully took remote of TV from kids. It was so strange. Kids started complaining. His wife Pallavi came out running. Pallavi " What happened?" " There was one suicide. I was witness of it." He kept searching for channels but news didn't appear. Finally his son took back remote from him. His son started watching cartoon again. He was upset. Then he went to Pallavi. He took hold of her hand and drag her in kitchen. "What happened?" He started telling every thing to her. When his son started calling him, he went out. His son " Dad I want that toy." Ramesh was so angry. He expected something more like that news. But finally nothing managed to come out of this discussion. He just kept screaming on his son. His small daughter started crying. Pallavi got upset. She started to console both kids. Ramesh was so angry. He just sensed no one cared for him. He just went in bathroom to take wash. When he took shower, he started to feel better. When he went out, Pallavi was waiting for him with dinner. Ramesh looked around kids were not there. Ramesh " Where are kids?" " Kids? They slept." " So soon." Pallavi gave smile. " They will not sleep immediately. It is their habit. Our son kept reading comics for long time. Of course our daughter is not big enough to read it. But she also managed to play with her brother when she start to get upset, she will started to feel then she would started to cry. Okay tell me what happened?" " Nothing much. I was getting upset unnecessarily." Pallavi " Just tell me." He was so confused. He didn't want to scare her. Pallavi was too sensitive by nature. But then she started insisting. She started discussing. He had to tell everything to her. He started to tell her that different things would have different effects on mind. He slowly told everything about those kids. Pallavi was listening then suddenly in middle of story their daughter started crying. Ramesh smiled and let her go. She went in room. Ramesh ate his dinner. He started to feel sleepy. He decided today he just went in bedroom. He was sure his son was not interested in good night hug today. He just went in bedroom as soon as his back touched bed. He immediately fall asleep. When he woke up, he sensed that he was hurt on something. He looked around. He was so scared. Every time was dark around him. He couldn't able to locate anything. He was in unknown world of darkness. He was so confused. His first thought was someone must had kidnapped him while sleeping on bed. He started to look around in that darkness. But soon he felt that his hands were free so he couldn't be kidnapped. He looked around. He saw that it managed to hit on some pipe. He was so confused. He didn't understand that place. He stood up. Then he sensed that he was standing in terrace. But which terrace? It was totally unknown terrace. He looked down from terrace. He sensed that his building was just little away from there. He didn't want any one to see him so he just ran away from terrace. He started running down. Then he sensed that he had to take lift otherwise he would create noise. He just ran inside lift. He was shivering with fear in lift. He sensed one thing. He just went away in some way on that terrace. He never sleep walked until now. It could be risky. He could never imagine risk of it. He just didn't want to do that again. Then he started go inside lift when he suddenly sensed that some one was following him. He turned but then he suddenly sensed that this fellow was gone. He was so scared. He went in lift and pressed ground floor button. Then he just ran out of building. He was so afraid. He just ran inside his house. His watchman was sleeping. He didn't sense his entry since he went inside with soft footsteps.
When Ramesh went inside house, he looked around. No one was there. Then suddenly Pallavi appeared out of nowhere. Pallavi " Where did you went in this nightgown?" Ramesh was so tense. He wanted to say some words. But he just couldn't able to say any thing. Pallavi kept screaming on him. He just couldn't able to find his voice. Then Pallavi started shaking him. Then suddenly his voice came out as if it was stuck on some point. He screamed loudly " I was sleep walking."" What?" He told her every thing. Pallavi " You were on terrace? This is risky." " I know but I don't understand it." " But how could you did it? You never did that before." Ramesh " I know..I know don't repeat it." " But you even managed to open door." " Yes." They were discussing that issue when suddenly their door bell rang. Ramesh was shivering. He didn't want do open door. Pallavi was so scared. She went to door. She was relieved when she saw that it was just watchman. Pallavi " Why did you disturbed us at this hour?" Watchman " Madam I found this near gate. On CCTV I saw sir walking by gate this had fallen from pocket of his nightgown." Pallavi looked at ornament. Pallavi was confused. She started to calling Ramesh. She suddenly started feeling happy. She felt that it might be surprise gift. But she knew that she must not take it without asking. She was so happy. She started calling Ramesh. Ramesh came out. " Sir your ornament." " It is not mine." " But I saw it on CCTV falling from your pocket." Ramesh was so confused. He looked at it with care. He never purchased it. Ramesh " It is not our. Just call Police and submit it." Watchman looked confused. Pallavi sensed issue. " Sir means that he took it from ground to give to you to find owner." Watchman smiled " Sorry sir. I will ask to all and then call Police." Ramesh nodded. He started shivering. Pallavi " What is going on?" " I don't know. I must have sleep walked." " Sleep walked? Then what about that ornament?" " I don't know." Ramesh was so scared. Pallavi " Fine. Let's go to sleep now. Tomorrow you have to go to office and I have to do all household work. Let's go to sleep." Ramesh slept on bed. He felt sure that something had happened on that night. But he didn't understand what happened. He kept thinking about it. But his thoughts just kept coming back. He just couldn't able to sleep properly. He kept having nightmares. Then in morning their door bell rang. Pallavi opened door. She was so shocked. Watchman was standing with their jeweler and Police man. She called them inside. Ramesh came there. Jeweler " Yes I gave you this ornament yesterday. You have ordered on 12 th May. Did you forgot it in one day?" " You have given to me!! When?" "Yesterday when you were going out to save some one on terrace yesterday." Ramesh was so confused. " I was trying to save someone on terrace? Whom?" Then suddenly Police interfered " Why did you said this did belong to you?" " Because I don't remember taking it. I have ordered one necklace but my sister chose it for me. I am not good at choosing things so I don't recognize the design." " But why didn't you remember last night?" Now Ramesh was on verge of crying. He wanted to control himself but suddenly he began to cry loudly. Every one was shocked but Pallavi controlled herself and told every thing to Police. Police " This is risky. You must show him to Doctor." Pallavi " But this never happened before. It happened for first time." " But you can't let him walk like that. Any way he was trying to save whom? Did he involved in some incidence?" Then Pallavi looked confused. Whole time Ramesh just kept crying, she looked at kids. Now their daughter also started crying. Their son was counseling her. He immediately took her inside. He sensed something was wrong with his father. She told everything to Police step by step. Police " Don't send him in office in this condition. I will call psychiatrist. He will manage every thing." She nodded. Police " You have to sign some paper before taking ornament." Jeweler " No need sir. They had paid half amount. I took it then give her. This way she could take care of her husband." Police nodded. Then he called Psychiatrist took appointment. He told her time and hospital. Pallavi nodded whole time Ramesh was just crying. It was worst situation for her. She knew that she couldn't handle it all. She immediately called her in-laws. She wanted to hide it from others. Then she called his office and told them that he had viral infection. Finally she had to inform her son's school. Whole time Ramesh just kept crying .
Pallavi was in worst situation. Every one else went away. She was alone with her son. She had to take Ramesh to hospital next day. But Ramesh kept crying whole time. She tried to convince him but she just didn't stop. She was so scared. Even kids were started coming out. She knew that their daughter might be small but their son was big enough. He could heard it. She was so panicked. Her son came near her while carrying his crying little sister in hand. He felt so scared. " Mom what happened? Why Dad is crying?" When Pallavi didn't answer, he came near her "What is wrong with Dad? " " Nothing." " Mom tell me." Then she told him every thing. " But he kept crying like that?" " I don't know. We have appointment of next day until then we must do something." She called to psychiatrist once again. He talked with her. " I feel I can adjust you at 2 o'clock. We must start his treatment immediately or he might have heart attack." " Sure. I will come on 2 o'clock." Then she started calling her in-laws again. Her son " Mom don't worry go to hospital. I will take care of every thing. " " No..no sweetheart I can't leave you alone like that. I think I will try to talk to Dad." She started to tell Ramesh to stop crying. But he just kept crying slowly. Then door bell rang. His parents entered in home. They sat near him. His Mom started to consoling him. She began to pat on his shoulder. She tried to tell him many things but nothing seemed to work. She tried to remind him of childhood. But it seemed as if he was stuck on some moment. Pallavi sensed that it was useless effort. She knew that Ramesh's parents couldn't take him out of this stage. Pallavi "I think we must take him to hospital." Father-in-law "You are right. I am coming with you." Pallavi nodded. Father-in-law " Wait. Let me take out car first. I will drive it near staircase. We can't let many people see him in this condition." Pallavi nodded. Ramesh's Dad went out. He took his car and he parked it near stair case. Many people started looking at him with anger. His car was becoming obstacle to them. Finally secretary came to him. It was clear that Pallavi was taking long time to bring Ramesh. Secretary " You must not park here, Uncle." Another fellow " Yes remove your car. This entire place don't belong to you." Ramesh's Dad nodded. " Yes..yes." Then Pallavi came out with crying Ramesh. They started to move towards Ramesh. They wanted to argue. But Pallavi pushed him in car and his Dad immediately drove the car away. But Pallavi could clear hear insults and abusive words that fellow saying. Secretary was trying clam him down. Pallavi started crying. She felt so helpless. Ramesh never disobeyed any rule. She was also respectful to rule. But this fellow who was abusing them had clearly did many illegal things which were against rule. But he was abusing her for parking. She knew that Ramesh needed to stay in hospital for few days now. She started to gather her strength. She needed to act strong now. She knew that for some time. She needed to handle it. She must not get bullied by those people. Doctor would treat Ramesh. He might give him discharge soon. But still his treatment needed to be continued so she needed to handle it with her strength. She decided that tomorrow she would talk with other society member and convince them to give warning to him. Then they went inside hospital. Psychiatrist took them inside. He checked him. Then he admitted him. Psychiatrist " This is post traumatic symptom. It happened to due stress of suicide incidence. He felt that it was his duty to save those kids." Pallavi " But how soon he can be normal?" " Relax. We can't rush in such thing. When treatment start, I can give you my guess." Pallavi nodded. Ramesh's Dad " But it was not even regarding any known person then how could he react this way. I mean he never known any of those kids. Why he is showing so much attachment?" " Since he is emotional. It is human nature. You can't call it crime. It have positive sides too. Don't you feel them daily? Like his loving nature.." Pallavi smiled. Pallavi " Yes he is very nice person. But I want him to be normal." " Of course he will become normal. I will teach him to handle this. Give me few days and your husband will become as good as new." Psychiatrist started laughing. Slowly they all joined it. Since they sensed, life was full of ups and downs. If they learning to joke this way soon they would move out of trouble. Pallavi was glad at least Ramesh was no longer crying. He was sleeping peacefully due to Doctor's medicine.
