Tina’s Exhibition Centre
Tina was counting different pictures which she had painted. She was painting them step by step carefully. She was counting those colours which were necessary. She could see appeal of every colour. They were so pleasant & alive. She started to observe those colours which were so wonderful giving such enchanting touch to soul. She began to sense wonderful feeling with every colour of picture. That painting had wonderful look which was so pleasant to soul. She began to observe every part of it with enchanting sense in mind. She started to admire it. She began to sense that with every colour she would sense new beginning in life. She needed to observe that colour with hope. She started to admire those colour with full attention. She began to sense new world in them. She was painting for hours. She started to observe canvas with care. She began to feel every colour on canvas had special look. She began to feel such nice with every look of canvas. She started to sense that with every look in canvas that she was observing pleasant touch. She began to see different world in that picture. It was so enchanting. She began to feel so upset by thought of selling it. But she knew that it was must. She was just sales girl of this exhibition centre. She didn’t have enough capacity to purchase anything or even she didn’t right to keep it somewhere for sometime. Her Boss always decided everything. She was just servant. In fact sometimes she felt that she was just slave. Her Boss could scream on her any time. She kept running according to his orders. She never understood why did her Boss hated her so much. She always hoped that her Boss would admire her skill some day. But whenever she entered her Boss started accusing her for less sales. Now she was not God who could decide profit & losses. She couldn’t force customers to purchase! He kept saying that she didn’t have convincing power. She kept watching those pictures for hours. She was so confused. Sometimes she felt that she really didn’t want to sell these pictures. She just wanted to keep watching them for hours. She began to admire every corner of that canvas. She started to think that she didn’t want to remove it. But she knew that they were going to get removed anyway. If they were not sold then they should be returned. They were not going to stay before her. It was so confusing. She knew that she was just sales girl but now a days she felt as if those paintings were really talking to her. Specially that painting which was made by one Artist Vyas. She never saw this Vyas but she could see magic in his paintings. She knew that it was impossible but still sometimes she felt that she was in love with him. She didn’t need to see him. His every painting was talking to her. She was thinking about Vyas. When her Boss suddenly called her, actually her Boss screamed her name. She kept feeling insulted on his voice but she didn’t have option so she turned with smile. She saw one couple was standing. They seemed like two youngsters. They must be newly wed. They came for shopping of their first house. She knew that it meant low budget so they would manage to get nothing out of those paintings. She didn’t want to waste her time on them but she knew that she had no option. Her Boss was insisting. She started showing them different pictures. Each canvas had different world but wife kept making strange faces. That wife was not so pretty but she applied many coats of make up to look pretty. She didn’t understand why they needed so much make up. She wanted little bit reduction of that make up to see true face of that wife. But she knew that it was impossible that wife was not going to show her true face until couple didn’t go home. She knew that she shouldn’t comment on it so Tina began to describe paintings.Tina started to show different impact on mind. Tina started to describe different concept hidden of every painting. She was totally lost in her world. She didn’t sense that couple was not interested in shopping at all. She was so involved in world that she began to forget all around her. She started to feel so happy. Finally husband from couple said “ We need to go.” Tina didn’t want to stop but she came back to her senses. It was shocking. She started to sense that it was so important. She began to watch different canvas. She was so sure that she did best. Then she smiled & said “ Good Bye..” Tina began to feel so sure that she needed to stop. But she was not sure too. Her Boss was already giving her angry look. He was suggesting that she should run after clients. But she knew that they were not interested. She just stood there. Then she started watching painting. Her Boss came from behind. Her Boss was standing too close now. She moved behind. Her Boss laughed. Boss “ I am not going to touch you. I came just to tell you. Sell something otherwise I need to hire someone useful. You are useless girl. You can’t even able to impress clients. What is use of this make up & dress?” He pointed towards her designer dress. She purchased it on her parent’s money. It was not easy. No one was ready to give anything to her except her Mom. Still her Boss was showing off as if he had given this dress himself. It was really frustrating. She didn’t understand what was wrong with her appearance. She felt that it was perfect. She didn’t understand what her Boss was suggesting. She never suggested anything against him. In fact she always called him decent man. She didn’t understand what was happening. Her Boss was targeting her daily. She still remembered those days when she began her work. She used to do it for hours. She wanted to watch canvas for long time. Her Boss used to sat beside her & smile. He used to say “ Watch them. Admire them. We can’t take them home but we have right to admire their beauty. It is gift from God. You got this job just for that chance.” She used to smile & nod. She was so happy that she got a Boss who was her best friend too. He was never bossy or irritating. But now she sensed that everything was changed. Her Boss was totally different person now.
Tina didn’t say anything. She just kept quiet. She felt that it was her mistake that her Boss misbehaving. She began to think what did she done to anger him. She started to feel tense. She began to recount incidence of entire day. She began to count where she did mistake. She felt that she might have managed to eat too many chocolates. She knew that those chocolates where kept for clients. She looked at herself. She was getting overweight. She needed to stop eating those. She carefully kept them in far away corner. She didn’t want to eat them unnecessarily. She wanted to feel happy. She started to admire those chocolates. She knew that if she had even one more her Boss would start abusing. So she didn’t take them. She kept working. She showed painting to next client. These people loved them. She kept watching them with full attention. She started to study it’s every part. She slowly lost in it’s world. Luckily this type even her client was lost in that world. That woman & her mother kept watching it. But when she told them price, their face looked sad. Her Mom asked “ Do you have cheaper painting?” Tina wanted to say yes but sadly answer was no. Tina nodded negatively. She was feeling so sad. Tina was nice person but she couldn’t even give discount. She looked towards them. “ Sorry but this is cheapest.” They looked towards price & nodded negatively. Then once again their client went away. Her Boss came near her chair screaming “ Why did they went away?” “ They had budget issue.” “ Every one start with same thing but we need to convince when you will learn it.” She was so scared. She began to sense her hands were shaking. She needed to steady them. She wanted to feel happy. She wanted to sense confidence. But she was too scared. She began to imagine that if she stood up she might faint. Her Boss began to scream on her. She couldn’t answer. Her words began to get confused. She began to speak in such way that her words became meaningless. She could hear them. She knew that she was going to get fired. She wanted to save her job. But her words didn’t come out with meaning. She began to get so scared. Her Boss was looking towards her with shock. Finally he said just one word. “ Go home!” She took her purse & ran away. She tried to breathe properly. She took this job since she felt that it would prove her parents that she could do something. It was her first job. It was perfect at beginning but then she started to sense different troubles in it. She knew that she was doing this job as beginner. She was planning to get better job with this experience. But she started to feel so uneasy since Boss started to scream on her. It was worst for her. She tried to smile. She began to get restless. Today she sensed that she was not ready for world. She thought that everything was perfect but still nothing seemed to be going in right way. She began to get restless. She started to feel scared. Her hands started to get unsteady. She knew that after this she would look like failure before world. She began to feel so nervous. She wanted to look like winner before world. But things were not going in right way. She was getting failures day by day. She was trying yesterday to get a new job. She didn’t find any except waitress in cafe. She was not ready for that job too. She didn’t understand what she was supposed to do for becoming perfect waitress. She worked so hard to complete her job. She began to this work of exhibition centre with such positive way. She worked so hard for it’s success. Now she needed to shift in other job. She began to read requirements of this job. She saw that experience was not mentioned. But they declared very less salary. She even saw that different shifts of that cafe. She sensed that she needed to work for entire day but finally she didn’t get much. In exhibition centre salary was really nice. She didn’t want to confess her failure before her family. She didn’t want to tell them. She began to think of excuses. Then she felt that she needed to get another job. She didn’t know anything about serving people in cafe still she called. Soon cafe owner took her call. She told that she wanted job. Owner told her that she could join as trainee. She took address. She went there without second thought. She was shocked when she saw cafe. It was full of people. Customers were literally screaming on staff to hurry up. She felt so nervous. She didn’t like idea of working there at all. First they needed skill person. She didn’t have any. Soon owner saw her. Owner asked sweetly “ What do you want to eat Madam?” She didn’t say anything. She sensed that she was in still her designer dress. She said in weak voice “ I came for job.” Owner started laughing. Owner “ You are not joking?! I mean I never got waitress who could buy such costly clothes.” Tina looked nervous. Tina “ I need a job. I will try to serve people..” Owner gave angry look & pointed towards apron. Then she kept giving different food items for entire day. She tried her best still customers kept screaming on her. Her life was not moving in right way at all. She was feeling so upset. She didn’t want to disturb anyone but she managed to disturb entire staff. She took wrong orders. She mixed wrong ingredients. She did all in such a way that soon her this Boss also started to look upset too. She tried hard to manage but she felt one customer started screaming on her. One Customer “ Why did you keep this stupid waitress?! She didn’t able differentiate Mocha & Latte.” She looked nervous. But Owner interfered “ She is just trainee. I will send some one else to serve you.” She tried to hide her tears. After some time customers stopped coming. They all just sat. Owner smiled towards her & said “ This is first day. I know it will be hard but don’t worry soon you will learn it.” Another waiter “ Soon?! Sir I took ten months to learn.” Owner started laughing. Another waitress said “Hey she is not slow like you.” Then they started to argue for fun. Tina began to feel relaxed. She began to like this job.
Tina’s Boss from painting exhibition was upset. He fired Tina but he was just manager. Now his Boss was asking for explanation. He didn’t have one. He couldn’t fire a valuable employee just because that employee stammered once. He needed to give proper excuses to his Bosses. He started to search for replacement. He needed to find new Employee. He began to read many resumes of employees. He wanted better replacement. Tina was good employee. He needed to find someone worthy. He was tense. He was trying to increase income but it was not working. He needed one employee who could influence people. He needed some one who could bring crowd. At beginning he though that Tina would. She belonged to family who could influence people or at least he thought it since her father was boosting about it in one party. But now he sensed that it was just lie. Her father was one alcoholic who could lie as much as he liked. Tina’s Boss sensed that he needed someone else. He managed to find such girl few days ago. She was perfect. She was modern still she showed off herself as traditional too. He needed her. He immediately called Rita “ I managed to fire her for you.” He started to feel scared. What if Rita rejected job, he couldn’t show any suitable employee to Boss. Rita started laughing. Rita “ Great! I needed excuse to get connected to those people. I need your help to get in touch with them daily. Now with your exhibition I can call them again & again. We need those contacts..” Tina’s ex Boss was so happy. He wanted to invite Rita. He was interested in her. He had one wife with one daughter but he was having argument with her daily. His wife was so nice & promising at beginning. But then slowly he began to dislike her. They started to have arguments while Rita was his wife’s friend but still she always kept taking his side. He knew that Rita understood him so well. He knew that his wife was doing wrong things. He knew that it was wrong but he sometimes wished that if only he could change his wife. He knew that he couldn’t say it before any one. Rita was his wife’s friend so he must not cross limits. But in his heart he began to like Rita long ago. His wife never sensed it or she pretended that she didn’t. But he knew that he wanted to help Rita to start her career. Tina was one sacrifice he needed to do for it. He knew that he did perfect thing. He started hopping for best. Soon Rita joined him. Rita started bringing different customers. Rita might not able to sell paintings. But she created contacts & she started to dating him too. He was so happy. He knew that he could marry her now. His wife was planning to divorce him any way. Rita didn’t want get blamed so she kept pretending that they were just going for professional dinner. Tina’s Boss was never interested in progress of exhibition centre. He wanted just interested in progress of Rita’s career. He started to bringing new clients of film industry. It was Rita’s interest. Soon it began to arrange role for Rita. Rita started to develop her career. Every one was fond of her. Rita began to get admired every step. Rita created to find new beginning & she began to get fond of him. Soon he managed get divorce. By this time Exhibition of paintings started suffer losses. He didn’t care. He just wanted to get married with her. He began to sense that she was enough to make him rich. One day they both came to cafe. Tina was serving there as waitress. She was trained now. She was little bit shocked when she saw her Boss with this actress. She immediately recognised that it was new employee of Exhibition. She read about It in magazines. She felt that it would prosper Exhibition so she was happy about it. She felt that Boss took right decision. Then she noticed that they were holding hands. She was shocked her Boss was married. She didn’t know that he was divorced already. She knew that Rita was best friend of his wife. She came near to take order. Her Boss gave her look which told her that she was just dust. She didn’t mind it. Since she felt that before these famous people she was truly dust. She was so happy for prosperity of her Exhibition. Boss gave her orders. She wrote them on paper. She started to read them properly. Then she arranged all properly. She served perfectly. Then she went away. She came back when she needed to present bill. They gave extra amount. There was not any tip in it. Tina was not expecting any but suddenly Rita started to say “ I should have given you tip if you have served properly.” She was so shocked. Tina didn’t want to cry but tears started to appear. Tina turned towards regular customer’s table. That customer immediately came in support “ You serve us perfectly.” Rita “ Since you come regularly. In fact I can see mistake even in food served to you. These daughter of famous parents get all automatically.” Rita felt so shocked. She never told anyone about her parents. She didn’t want to use it. On each day she felt as if using her parent’s name was crime. World was so strange child of famous person even if did job of waiter that one get taunted while this Rita was using every contact was admired. She didn’t understand what was better in Rita than her. Then she noticed how did Rita was holding hand of Tina’s ex boss. Rita could damage friendship or marriage to get contact & whichever man she liked while Tina couldn’t. Tina knew one thing winner or not she never wanted to become like Rita. But she knew that Rita was going to be successful. But still Tina didn’t want to become like her. Tina suddenly began to feel so tense. She started to feel tense about Exhibition centre. She knew that Rita didn’t care about it. She knew that it might get damaged it. She was so tense. That she began to confuse in orders. Finally her another friend took over her duties. Owner “ That actress is such snob!” “ I don’t care how does she talk to me but I don’t want my exhibition centre to be damaged.” That day she went home. Her house was perfect full of luxuries but she was not happy. She couldn’t able to protect that exhibition centre. She began to feel these rich things give nothing to her. She wanted to protect her one exhibition centre. She began to cry slowly.
From that day Rita began to have nightmares. In every night she was running around while paintings were getting burnt. She started screaming. Mostly some servant came in room. Luckily her parents room was sound proof due to AC they didn’t hear her. But it started to get worst day by day. She began to feel so scared. She kept doing job in cafe. After sometime her parents knew about it. Her Dad appreciated it. Her Dad said “ You can start your own cafe one day.” Mom “ Or you can even become partner in this one.” She laughed. Her new Boss didn’t know about her financial level. She just smiled at thought if she discussed this with her new Boss. She didn’t mentioned her nightmares to anyone. But soon her colleagues in cafe started to see dark circles. Finally one day her new Boss asked “ Are you not sleeping in nights?” “ Actually I am having one nightmare!” Then she explained it. Other waiter “ It is about that Exhibition! You need to forget it.” “ Can I tell you one thing? Go to counsellor.” Then her new Boss gave card. “ I went to him after my grandfather’s death & it really helped.” She nodded. She knew that she needed it since she was dreaming daily. She could clearly sensed by what printed in newspaper that this exhibition centre might be closed due to losses. She took appointment. She visited to counsellor. She started talking she cried so much. Psychiatrist “ Sometimes just like person we get attached to place. After death of person you suffer same way you suffer due to destruction of that place. You worked so hard for it. You faced so much trouble while other person destroyed it just for selfish motive so you feel hurt. It is common. Slowly you will learn to accept destruction as part of life too. You need to accept positive & negative both as part of life..” Psychiatrist kept explaining her. Tina listened to him. Then she kept visiting him for some time. One day that Exhibition centre was closed while Rita became famous star. Rita’s picture was everywhere. There were long news admiring Rita’s hard work & her struggle. Tina was so angry but Tina controlled herself. That day went to owner of cafe & did partnership. She knew that her one dream was shattered but she managed to create another. She learnt to live her life happily with it.
