Revati's boyfriend
Tarun was so happy that he was getting that promotion which he always wanted. He waited for such long time. Finally that time had came. He began to get ready. He ironed his suit. He was so happy. He waited happily before mirror to hear some comment from his daughter and wife. But nothing happened. He turned around. He sensed his mistake. His daughter Tina was in hostel and wife Revati was cooking. Revati never spent much time with him. He sensed from beginning she didn't like him that much. She married to him after dating for long time. He knew that she was trying hard to get another date but she didn't find one. It was frustrating for her. Soon people started attaching her to him since they kept going everywhere together because they didn't got other dates. She felt so upset by it. Once she even told him that he must not keep meeting with her. Her reputation was getting hurt due to him. According to her people assumed wrong things. He nodded. He stopped meeting her. She once again tried to get dates. She kept struggling for long time. But nothing seemed to work. While he just waited with patience since he knew that he was not going to get date. He didn't want to humiliate himself. It was truly frustrating. He just kept working without trying to get involved in anyone. People stay without marriage that was his moto. But Revati wanted to get married at any cost. Tarun understood that one day in college all girls were discussing something. On that point they all suddenly came on boyfriends. They all decided that they would find after completing graduation. It seemed like some challenge where they were using marriage to boost ego. Tarun didn't understand that bet or challenge. He was not even present when it happened. But he knew that after it strange madness entered in surrounding. They were no longer friendly. They were secretive. They wanted to hide everything. They kept looking at boys. Few boys found it irritating since they were not interested in those girls but many loved it. It all seemed so perfect. Boys were getting attention. Few boys even started to date different girls. He knew that they were cheating them since one boy was dating different girl daily. If they started to argue against it, he began to say that it was his life and style. They could tell those girls. But no one dared since all thought only messenger would get punishment. Tarun was watching all this. He didn't understand what he supposed to do. He was not brave soul to fight back and tell them that this was wrong action. But he wanted to tell someone. He decided to try Revati. He one day stopped her and asked " Do you enter in any challenge?" She didn't like this. Revati asked angrily " Who told you this? Clearly our group got backstabber." " I don't know who told every one but I think one of the boys overhead your conversation." " So?!! Don't you bet on getting some girl! I will win her before next Friday that sort of bet!" " No. I just bet sometimes on winning and losing of cricket matches that's all. I know it is wrong too. But sometimes while supporting your team it happen." " Right? So I am supporting my team and it includes just me. I want to prove world that I am perfect and beautiful." " To prove it you don't need to find a boy..""Stop lecturing me. You are not my father. I don't understand why I waste my time in talking with you." Then she left away. After that he never chatted with her. She kept trying hard to find someone. She didn't want to start their relationship again. But she didn't find any option. She began to feel so frustrated. She didn't understand what would be her best way to get boyfriend. Soon Revati began to see that her friends were dancing around with different boys. They were enjoying themselves. But she was alone. One day one friend came to her and said " Why you are alone now a days? Why don't you start dating Tarun again?" She began to feel so upset. Revati didn't want to date him but she didn't want to remain without boyfriend too. She began to sense that Tarun was her only option. On that point she returned to Tarun. He never understood why but he agreed. He was not that much interested in searching for girlfriends. He wanted tension free life. He felt that Revati would not demand too much from him. He kept nodding to her small demands. It was not that much upsetting. But due to this all began to assume that they would get married one day. Finally one day their parents began to fix their marriage. Tarun didn't object anything. He just went ahead with every thing that destiny offered. But he thought that Revati would reject. Revati didn't objected too. Then they got married. He noticed that Revati didn't have smile on her face. After that marriage she never smiled. He knew that she married to him against her wishes. But he didn't understand why did she married. He didn't objected since he was not planning to search more. He needed wife and got one. Then their daughter was born. His life became perfect. He didn't care whatever in mind of Revati. He just wanted to move ahead happily in his life. Tina was so nice and perfect. He didn't care that much for his wife. Revati was also attached to Tina so they were staying with each other just for Tina. Today he got ready. Then he screamed bye. He knew that Revati was not interested. He was not even interested in her attention. He just went out. He sat in his car and ordered driver to drive. Revati turned back when she heard voice of car. Revati smiled. She wanted him out of her house. She hated him but she married him just for bet and money. He was rich man. He worked so hard to get money. Then she also got nice daughter. Tina was perfect. She never interfered in any thing. She kept to herself. Tina loved her Dad and due to Tina's affection he never noticed her ignorance towards him. She didn't want to pay attention to him. She wanted him out of life which was hard but not impossible. They were married. Before world they were perfect couple. They were living like of husband and wife as they should but they didn't share bound of love. It was perfect just the way Revati wanted she smiled happily.
Revati needed rich man as husband but not cruel. She knew that she was too demanding since why nice and rich boy would marry her when she had nothing special inside her. She was neither rich nor talented. She couldn't able to impress any one with her intelligence or her artistic skill. She got nothing. So she started searching for rich boy. She met Rakesh. Rakesh was rich but he was really cruel. He didn't like when someone disobeyed him. One day she went out on date with him. He started coming near her. She smiled at first but then she began to feel he was crossing limits. She wanted commitment first. She pushed him away and he slapped her. She was so shocked. Then he drove car towards her house and pushed her out of car. He literally dumped her near garbage can of her society. She cried and shivered. Her neighbour came out running. Her elderly neighbour said " Honey I advise you one thing. Never marry that man. He is monster." She nodded. She knew that no one knew about Rakesh since she met him in her dance class while practicing duet. She loved dance. But no one was aware that she was going there. She met this fellow there. She supposed to hate him but she liked Rakesh. A rich and strong boy. Her attraction was disastrous in everyone's eyes. Even her neighbour told it at first sight. But she wanted him. So she kept insisting on meeting him. But he was not interested in her any more. He said that if she was not interested in him and she was not going to fulfil his desires. He didn't want her. She was so shocked and upset. She kept trying to call him. She wanted him to talk on mobile but he didn't. His mobile remained engaged. She felt so scared. She wanted him back in life. But he didn't want to meet her. Then in her college every friend started showing a boyfriend. She decided that she needed one so she showed Tarun to all. She knew that no one would like Rakesh. Rakesh was not someone who was prefered by her family. She knew that they wanted Tarun. She decided to marry Tarun. She thought in her heart that Rakesh would get jealous and started demanding her attention. She was so happy at that thought. She decided that she must start dating Tarun. She must began to go out. Whenever they went out. She made sure that they would visit some place where Rakesh used to come every day. She kept coming there. She knew that people were watching her so he would get news soon. She wanted to see his jealous response. She was little bit scared that he might find another girl. But she knew that she could manage to change all. She began to sense that she just needed to see him. But Rakesh never appeared. Finally her marriage fixed. She had one daughter Tina now. She liked her daughter because mother supposed to like her daughter but truthfully in her heart. She didn't care. She didn't like her daughter that much. She felt so sad when she thought that she was married to Tarun. Her entire life was destroyed. Tarun knew that she didn't love him but still he married to her. She didn't understand why. She was so frustrated when she started to think about it. She shivered with pain. She kept thinking. Only if on that moment she didn't object Rakesh's touch! She didn't understand that she wanted him more than anything. She hated this life. Tarun wore his dress and came in room. He noticed that she was cooking. He didn't pay much attention to what. He just said " I got that promotion. I am going to party. I thought that you might like to come too. I mean they invited entire family." " Then take your parents!" He was so shocked. He didn't understand why did she needed to act so sadist. His parents were too old. He couldn't take them. His only hope was Tina but she was in hostel too. He just nodded. Then he went away. She smiled happily. She just wanted to see that disappointment on his face. She wanted to see sadness. It was hurting his soul. She didn't want it to hurt him but she wanted to hurt Rakesh. On that point he was no longer Tarun to her. He was Rakesh. That man who didn't care for her. Rakesh just managed to hurt her. It was so hard for her. She wanted revenge and she was getting it. But then she sensed that Tarun just accepted it. He went away. She hated to see this. Tarun never argued. He was just born loser in her thoughts. She wanted him to be someone who argued. She didn't understand why did he kept agreeing to all. She wanted to abuse him. She just wanted to tell him to get lost. But she knew that she couldn't. She didn't tell him that she love someone else. Specifically when that person was not interested in her. She was okay even after this marriage when Tina used to stay with them. But then Tina went to hostel. She began to feel worst. Every day she just needed to see Tarun's face. She wanted to do some job but she was not getting one. It was impossible for even needy to find a job so no one wanted to provide one to person like her who wanted to do it for hobby. She knew that she couldn't do job. No one was going to give one to her. She was feeling so upset. She needed a break. Today she was planning to meet her mother. Her father died last year and her mother was alone. She didn't want to go out with Tarun. She decided to make this excuse. She slowly came out and said in nice voice " Actually my Mom is sick so I want to go there. I am sorry for that outburst but I am so upset. Dad died now Mom is sick. I feel you should spend more time with your parents." She turned everything in right way. She always managed it so he couldn't point out. Tarun sensed it but he didn't want to argue. He didn't want to take her with him to spoil his party. He just agreed happily. He could enjoy with his friends. He nodded. " You must meet your Mom. She needed you. I can go to party." She smiled and went in kitchen. He screamed " Just cook simple dinner for me." She screamed " Okay." This was relaxed voice and he was glad that finally this was over. He didn't want it to be dragged. He wanted to relax.
Tarun entered in that room of party. He felt so happy. His friends were around him. He felt everything would be fine. But first question of his colleague managed to hurt him. " Where is your wife?" It was natural question. He was supposed to be happily married man. His wife was not even working so he couldn't give that excuse. He never mentioned divorce so they were expecting her. He smiled and said " She is staying with her Mom. Her Mom is sick." They all kept asking same question and he kept giving same answer. Slowly step by step his entire party was ruined. He never felt upset until that time regarding behaviour of Revati but on that day for first time he was upset. She managed to destroy his day. It was clearly irritating. She didn't understand his feelings and people were forcing him to adjust with her. She was not interested in coming. He didn't want to force her. He never understood why did she married to him. He always noticed that she avoided his company. She didn't want to go out with him. He never took much interest in which company she liked more. But he knew one thing that he was not her choice. He was so upset by all. He needed to get divorce. But he didn't have cause. He couldn't just say that he was too tired of tolerating her. He sat on table with his drink. Everyone was dancing with partner. They all assumed that he would bring partner too. Soon Pradip joined him. Pradip "What happened?" " Nothing!" He gave one forced smile. " Come on! I thought we are close friends." " We are!!" " Then why you are not telling me truth? What's wrong?" " Nothing!! I am telling you truth." " Did you argued with wife?" Tarun turned head negatively. It was truth. He couldn't control his tears. He didn't understand that how could he explain his friend that his wife never loved him. He took deep breath and said " She never came out with me." " What? Since when it began?" " She didn't even come on honeymoon. On that time she said that she was sick. I thought that she was telling truth." " Why don't you visit marriage counselor?" Tarun smiled. He liked this idea. He knew that after some proper suggestions their situation would surely change. He nodded happily. Then Tarun took number. After that Tarun started dancing alone. Soon he began to feel so happy. It seemed as if entire stress was vanished by one suggestion. He thought that his troubles would vanish. When he was relaxing, Revati didn't went to her Mom. She was searching. She was doing this every day. She was searching for Rakesh. She had his one photo in her mobile. She was showing it to everyone. She kept trying. After sometime finally one person recognised him. That shopkeeper " He is owner of that bangalow but he didn't live alone there. He had big family. One wife and four kids. It is so showing how could people keep giving birth to so many kids.." she was not interested in further conversation. She just wanted to see him. Then she saw him. He was standing in gallery. He was totally exhausted. He was looking so old and tired. But she knew that he was still that same Rakesh. She could see that smile on his face. She began to moving hands towards him. She wanted to enter in that bangalow. He didn't seem to sense that she was looking towards him. He just kept smoking his cigarette. She knew that he was chain smoker but she didn't mind since she wanted him. She began to try to go inside bangalow. Watchman immediately tried to stop her. She began to scream his name. Rakesh was confused. Finally he came down. Immediately one woman came down too and kids followed her. Revati fall in Rakesh's arms without hesitation. She knew that she just belonged to him. First she sensed warmth of his hand. He was returning her hug. Then she heard voice of woman who was calling his name. He immediately pushed her away." Who are you?" His wife " Did you do affair again?" "No..no I don't know her." Revati began to get panic. Revati couldn't tolerate his claim that she wasn't related to him. She began to cry. " Don't you remember me? I met you in dance class." He was so confused. His wife started laughing. "Look at my husband. He could hardly dance with this weight." Rakesh made sad face and nodded. Revati was so shocked. She didn't understand that how could he forget all. " He knew me. I am his girlfriend." Rakesh looked nervous now. He could sense that soon his wife start to believe Revati due to his worst record. Rakesh " I don't know her. She is lying." Revati screamed " We met in college." Now Rakesh started laughing. " I don't remember my all college girlfriends. I use to change them daily. I don't even remember how many I dumped." His wife gave him angry look and came near her. " Did he done something wrong?" " No..no I want to marry him. " " I am his wife you can't marry him." " But I need him." Revati started coming towards him and he began to run behind his wife. Revati started crying. His wife called watchman. She didn't have much option so she went away. But she kept crying slowly. It was worst thing for her. She was not clearly invited back in Rakesh's life. She didn't have much option. She needed to go back. She didn't go back to her Mom. She hated her. Her Mom forced her to marry Tarun. She was so angry so upset. She began to cry and ran on road without second thought where she was going. She didn't care.
Revati's Mom was waiting for her. Few minutes ago she got call from Tarun. Tarun wanted to go to counselor and he felt Revati's Mom would help her to convince Revati. After listening to him Revati's Mom agreed with him. Mom sensed that she needed to talk with Revati. She was waiting for her. When Mom's mobile rang, she took call. It was her old school friend, Maya. Maya " Revati is running on road. I saw it from car. She seemed to lost her mind." Mom was shocked. It couldn't happen so suddenly. But Mom knew that Maya couldn't be lying. " Maya please try to remain with her and bring her back." Maya agreed. Maya started driving slowly towards Revati. Then she stopped car. Maya began to chat with her in friendly way. She hoped that Revati would stop but she didn't. Soon she sensed that she needed to force her. Maya was good athletic woman. She tried to hold her but Revati threw her away. Then she called for help. Soon people came to help her. They stopped Revati with help of cops. Finally they pushed her in car. Maya was too scared to enter and drive but one Cop did it for her. When they reached to Revati's house, she finally stopped hitting Maya. She came out. She began to scream on her Mom. Entire neighborhood gathered. Her Mom didn't see any option. She called Tarun. By tmhis time Cop already called doctor. Tarun came early than doctor. Revati began to scream on him. She even tried to attack. Tarun didn't understand cause. She was talking about Rakesh and Tarun never met anyone named Rakesh. Finally psychiatrist came and took her to hospital. She was admitted. Then after some time psychiatrist told Tarun that she was living in her imaginary world where Rakesh loved her. She was obsessed with him. Tarun " But why?" " Because she forced herself in this marriage for bet." " So this marriage is her trouble.." " No. I feel she might be suffering from schizophrenia. I am not 100% sure. But did she have relative with such problem?" Tarun nodded. Tarun knew that her auntie was suffering from schizophrenia. Psychiatrist " Don't worry. We can't cure it but we can give medicine and teach to handle it. & many people live happy life even while suffering from it." Tarun nodded. He was happy that at least someone was offering help. He knew that he couldn't left her. He never understood why. But he never replaced or deserted her and he was not even planning to do it now. So he nodded and began to listen psychiatrist's advice.
