Cooking in kitchen
Sameer started counting food container. It was his job to count it. He knew that it had to be perfect. He started counting it on every day. He needed to do his work with dedication. I will manage every thing regarding kids." Reena was already on verge of crying. Reena " Thanks." Reena stared to stop auto when suddenly Sameer started to feel uneasy again. He didn't want to vomit on road so he started to search for dustbin. But he couldn't able to locate one. It was worst day for him. He just couldn't help himself. Every one on road started to look at him with disgust. He started crying slowly. He just wished that he was died instead of sick. He managed to make that road dirty. Reena came running towards him. But when Auto driver saw that mess. He just ran away before they could sit inside it. Sameer was so ashamed now. He wished that he just managed to vanish in air. Reena came running towards him. Reena " You are sick. It is not your crime." Then suddenly one fellow came from other side of road and screamed " How could you spread dirt on road like that and walk away? People like you make this nation unclean and dirty." Sameer was so ashamed but Reena screamed on that fellow. " Can't you see? He is sick. No one vomit willingly. Look around you. This road is already dirty enough. Not because of us. But since people throw away dirty papers on road, that was sight of construction which managed to damage so much road. You don't see fault in other things expect in sick man. Who taught you talk like that? Since religion never permit this, every religion tell people help sick man." That man looked scared now so he vanished. Another Auto driver was kind enough. He took them inside Auto. Reena " Sameer are you okay?" " I just start to feel pain." He pointed towards chest. Driver " Can I suggest you something?" Reena " Sure." " Don't take him to normal Doctor. Just take him to hospital." Reena started to feel that he was right. Reena " But I can't just take him in hospital without letter of Doctor?" Driver " You can. Just go inside and then they will help you?" That Driver suggested her a hospital. Reena nodded. She could clearly sensed that Sameer was shivering like leaf by now. Reena decided that she might phone her Doctor. She was so scared as soon as Doctor picked up phone she just told everything. Doctor " So you are near hospital?" " No but I am planning to take him." " Fine. If he had chest pain then it's better to check him. Just go to this Hospital and contact this Doctor." " Okay thanks." Reena " Driver.." " I heard it and I am already taking you to that hospital." Reena turned to Sameer. He was looking so pale. She was feeling scared now. She didn't want to lose Sameer. She couldn't imagine her life without him. Then she ordered her mind to stop negative thinking and she started praying to god in mind.
When Reena immediately got out of auto as soon as they reached to hospital. She started to help Sameer to come out. Sameer slowly came out. Then they went inside. She told receptionist about her doctor. That receptionist started working slowly in paper. Reena started to look at Sameer. He was sleeping in corner. Reena " Will you hurry up?" " I am working hard whole day. Still you just keep complaining." Reena didn't want to make her angry. She needed to get her work done as soon as possible. She needed to work hard to control her anger. Finally she smiled. " Sorry. I am just too scared." Then she filled up that form. She finally gave her that form. Then finally her Doctor entered. They took Sameer inside ICU. She just kept waiting outside. She was so scared. After some time her Doctor came back with another Doctor. Doctor " Until now we don't find any thing wrong with your husband." " Then why he couldn't able to eat any thing?" " Well. He is fine regarding basic things. But we need to take him tests regarding many other things.Still we can tell you one thing. It was not heart attack so nothing threatening for life. Reena was relieved. But then she was confused too. " But he was not feeling normal." Her family Doctor started talking now. " He needed a complete check up. We will keep him in hospital for two days. We will do tests on him. When we will do complete check up then we can see what is wrong? Sometimes just minor troubles can cause major effect. First stay clam. Trust me. He is going to be fine." Reena nodded. Reena " Can I see him now?" Doctor " In my eyes he is just perfect. I kept him under observation for his blood pressure. It is little bit high. But it can happen due to tension. So I feel that he would be just fine after rest." "So this might be happening due to blood pressure?" " I can't say surely. We don't know due to what this is happening. " Reena just nodded. When Reena went inside room, Sameer gave her a weak smile. Sameer" So what is wrong with me? "" Nothing. Doctor said you are just fine. "Sameer gave another weak smile." Stop lying. Tell me what is wrong with me. "" I am not lying Doctor told me you are just fine. " Sameer began to look angry now." Then why did they kept me in ICU? "" For precaution. " Sameer began to scream loudly now" We are wasting so much money just for Precaution!! "" Just calm down. Your blood pressure is high. "" So suddenly I am sick now. " He was screaming so loudly that Reena started to feel scared. Reena" Just relax. Calm down." Reena was so confused now that she started crying. Sameer began to scream more loudly when Nurse entered with another Doctor. Doctor " How could you scream like that in ICU? Don't you understand other patients are serious." " But I am serious too." " Then just keep quiet." Doctor started checking Sameer's Blood pressure. Sameer was not ready to calm down. " That stupid woman is not telling me truth about my sickness." Reena was so shocked. Sameer never insulted her like that. She was so upset. She just couldn't take it any more. She stared to go out of room. When she noticed that Nurse was making one injection ready so Doctor must had told her to make it. Reena sensed that something was wrong with Sameer. He was getting angry without cause. She just stopped. She needed to show courage. She stopped and went near Sameer. Reena " Sameer you must listen to Doctor if we don't obey him then you can't become healthy again." Then suddenly Sameer began to calm. Sameer nodded. Sameer " Sorry Doctor. I know that you can't tell me about my sickness. I can understand." Then he took injection peacefully. Then Sameer said before going to sleep with her " I am so tense. I can't able to go to office." Doctor " At this moment you must not think about office." " How can I forget it? It was source of income. I can't pay hospital bill without it. I can't just.." He kept talking about Office while going to sleep. Reena sensed one thing that Sameer wanted to go back to office. But his health was not permitting him. Reena felt so sad. She knew that they were going to get in financial crisis. But then she knew that she had to manage it. She started to think about going on job. But she always hated jobs. Then she suddenly thought that she could open shop of selling food items. She decided that she must start it as soon as possible. She went out. Then she started to call her friend who did good business. She sat outside then slowly she started to plan to business. She began to plan to take order. She was sitting outside ICU of her sick husband while searching for nice job. One thing was clear. Her life was changed in one day. Then her mobile rang. It was her neighbor who told her that she could take care of kids. But in voice of her kids she sensed one thing that they needed her. But she didn't have any option. She had to sit there in that depressed hospital with other relatives of patient while searching for work in hope. She just wished from heart that every thing should turn back to normal. But she knew that it would not happen so soon. She started making calls for order again. She needed to set up her business.
For few days Sameer was in ICU. Then slowly he was shifted in room. Sameer was sleeping in hospital room. He was looking around. He was so upset. He needed to go back to office. He knew that he needed to learn about office. He needed to talk with his boss. He began to search for mobile. He knew that he was in hospital but still he needed to know what was happening in his office. He took his mobile and called his Boss. " Sameer let me make one thing clear to you. I can't give you sick leave like that. We need some one." " But Boss I am in hospital." " Hospital? Which hospital?" He gave name to Boss. Boss " Okay. I want you to join office in week is it possible." Sameer " Sure." Then Sameer switched off his mobile. He went to sleep in relaxed mood now. In sleep he was so happy. Then he started walking with his grandfather in his dream. He was talking with him. He was smiling laughing. His grandfather gave him sweets in paper. He started eating them happily. He was so happy since they tasted like something out of heaven. He never imagined. They would taste this good. It was wonderful. He was eating it. Then he suddenly woke up. He was so scared. He looked around. He just didn't understood why did he felt so scared. He saw that he was alone. Reena must had went house. She needed to take care of household work. He was taking rest for such a long time. He was going home tomorrow. He needed to go back to office. But he started to try to relax himself. Then suddenly Reena entered in his room. Sameer " Where were you?" " I went in house to do some work. What happened?" " I will start to go in office from tomorrow." Reena looked happy but then she suddenly looked confused. " Don't you think that this is too soon?" " No..No..I can't move ahead like that. I need to go back." Reena nodded. Reena was glad from heart. She knew that she was taking order for her food items but it was not easy for her. She needed some extra income too. She needed a husband who would help her in running of her family. She never managed to do any thing without Sameer. He was her biggest support until now. But this time he was acting so strange. Sameer looked at her with confused expression. " What happened?" " Nothing." " Come on." " Last time you screamed on me." Sameer suddenly remembered time from ICU. " I am sorry. I was so scared I felt that I am going to die. I can't imagine leaving you and kids behind without financial support." " Stop it. You are fine." " I know but still I feel some strange feeling. As if.." Then he suddenly began to feel as if he needed to vomit. He started to run in washroom. He reached there. He once again managed to throw all his food. Reena was so scared. She called Nurse. Nurse came running inside room. Nurse was so shocked. She checked his blood pressure. It was high again. Nurse " This is so strange." She looked at Reena with anger and asked " Did you give something him to eat?" " No Nurse. I never dare to do that." Sameer " And I never eat anything outside hospital food." " Then how did this happened? Why did you vomited again?" Reena " That was what I am trying to tell Doctor. He is not as fine as Doctor think." Sameer " Reena I need to get fine soon or I will lose my job." Nurse " Just relax. Doctor will do something about it." Then after some time Doctor came. Doctor " What did you eat?" Sameer repeated everything from morning to afternoon lunch." What did you done?" " I didn't understood." Doctor looked around the room. Then he located mobile. He took it in hand. He checked calls. Sameer started to get nervous now. Doctor " So you called someone?" " I called my Boss. I really needed to retain my job." " But your blood pressure is too high. You can't go back to work tomorrow." " But Doctor.." Reena " Please try to understand. Your life is more important than job. We can do something else for money." Sameer looked at her with anger. " Like what? Do you want me to sit in home while you are going to earn for family and show off." Doctor " Now stop this. Your sickness is not her mistake. Even if you lose this job now you can surely found another if you tried hard." " Ohh really? Finding job is not that easy. " Doctor " Give him injection for sleeping." Sameer " No..No..Doctor I want to go to office." Then Nurse injected him. Doctor took that mobile and gave it to Reena. Doctor " I don't want to see this in room. Okay?" " Yes Doctor." Then he went out of room. Reena once again sat on chair and started crying. Her life was just moving in wrong way. She needed to find happiness but she was finding just sorrows. She began to cry slowly while looking at her husband. Even in sleep Sameer was getting angry about something. She just hoped from heart that cause was not her. She wished to live normal happy life again. Her kids needed her at home but she had to start business since Sameer needed proper treatment from hospital. He couldn't survive if his blood pressure keep increasing like that without reason.
Reena started to feel so upset by this. She needed to keep Sameer in that hospital. But Sameer began to insist that he must go home. Then one day finally Doctor called her. Doctor " We can't keep him like that in this hospital." " I don't understand." " Your husband is fine physically. But he is getting tense due to his work." "His work? But he was claiming that he wanted to go in office." " I don't understand it but I just tell you one thing that something was totally wrong with him. Your husband needed a psychiatrist." " Psychiatrist? But he is getting actually sick.""People get actually sick due to mental problems." Reena was so confused now. Reena knew that Sameer needed some treatment. She just couldn't take him home like that. His blood pressure was increasing every day. He needed to relax. But she couldn't just keep him in home. She was sure in home. He would get more sad and depressed. " So what did you want me to do?" " Nothing special. I want just you to add psychiatric treatment in Sameer's treatment and I needed your permission for it." Reena was so confused. Reena " I need to talk with Sameer for it." " Why are you taking hard way? I mean just say it and we will start from tomorrow. It is easily possible that Sameer would not agree to take it." " I don't understand.." " Now don't waste your time in thinking. You need to get over it." " But I can't just say yes to this. I like to discuss." "Then go ahead. Discuss it with all relative and finally they will call him mad. Come on try to understand this will not help you that much." " I don't know what to do." " Then go by my suggestion start psychiatrist's treatment without much show off and your husband will be fine in few months." " Months?" " You can't accept him to be fine in few days!!" " But he needed to keep his job." " At this situation just tell me what is your concern? Health of your husband or his job?" " His health is most important but how can we manage without his job? I mean we need to pay for this whole treatment. We need to educate our kids." " Stop this. If you don't want to start treatment. Fine. It is your wish. You can take him home on your own risk. I will not help responsible if something happens to him." Reena was so scared now. Reena " I will not even imagine about his death." " Then do as I suggest." Reena nodded. She knew what option she had. She had to sell her jewelry. Reena " Fine you can start treatment but I have to go out for money." " Sure." " Can you give me estimate?" " Fine I will talk to my friend psychiatrist. He will even give some concession on his fees." Reena smiled. She was glad that finally it was going to be over. She didn't want to drag it more. She wanted Sameer to become normal. Somewhere in her heart she sensed that Doctor was right. No one would understand that Sameer needed treatment. It was better to keep it under warp. She waited to understand amount. It was hard for her. Since Doctor was exchanging normal conversation with psychiatrist for long time before coming to point. She knew that he needed to do it. He talked with him about his family then for long time they discussed regarding some function which they wanted to attend but they couldn't manage to attend. Finally they confessed that they both didn't want to go. They both shared laugh. Reena was watching them with patience but in her soul she was cursing them. Reena was relaxed when Doctor came to chapter of Sameer. Soon Doctor told her amount. She nodded happily. She immediately went to jeweler. She slowly sat in corner. She never went there. She was so scared. She sat alone for few moments when her phone rang. It was her friend. She told her customer had placed orders and she got advance. Reena told her about money she wanted. Her friend told her that she would gave it to her. But she must give her partnership in business. Reena was so happy. She agreed but Reena told her that she needed to be provided with raw material too. Reena said that she would use her house to create and pack. Her friend " It deal then. I will give you money." Reena was so happy. She just ran out of jewelry shop before owner notice. She ran in her friend's house. She took money from her and immediately went in hospital. By then psychiatrist was already in Sameer's room. Sameer was chatting with him. Psychiatrist " He is not telling me it's cause now. But he was suffering from Somatization Disorder. In this disorder body tried to cope up with mental stress by physical sickness." " This is so strange so he is making himself sick to cope up with something." Psychiatrist smiled and nodded. " Don't worry. We will know every thing step by step." After talking to psychiatrist Sameer began to feel relax. He was ready to go home. But Psychiatrist told him to avoid office. Sameer didn't feel that much problem for few days. Then slowly he began to tell every thing. One day finally he told him about that client who was involved in wrong activities. Psychiatrist " If you feel upset due to it then why don't you quit that job?" " But we need my salary." " You are not getting it now. Are you?" " No My wife need to work hard to get money." " So you need to start working soon. You must try for another job." " But it is not easy to get another job." Psychiatrist nodded. " But still why don't you give it a try? Why don't you help your wife with business?" " I can't cook in kitchen." " Why?" " Because I am man." Psychiatrist started laughing. Sameer felt guilty. He started laughing too. " Sameer this is wrong. You are going to work for wrong people since you don't want to cook to your own kitchen." Suddenly Sameer felt ashamed. Sameer " You are right. I might start helping Reena with her business." From that day Sameer started to going in kitchen. Reena was so happy. With help of psychiatrist Sameer became strong enough to tolerate every taunt to him for working in kitchen. Soon they started to earn lot more than his salary. Reena was so happy. She could relax many times due to Sameer. She was pleasant that once again her house was normal. She was so happy that she could even give time to her kids. Once again their life started in happy way. In fact in much better way that it was before since they had more money to spend now.
