Telling truth
Kiran was so happy to visit her Uncle's house. She always loved staying there. She used to stay there when she was small kid. But then her school's important years started. She began to get busy. She started to concentrating more on her career. Actually it was lie. Kiran was always interested in going there but her cousin Tina seemed to lose interest in her. She still remembered last time when she went there. She had to spend her entire time with Auntie only. Rani Auntie was nice lady. But she wanted to enjoy her time with girl of her age. But she seemed to stuck with Auntie only whole time. Tina was out of house doing something. It was so frustrating and insulting for her. She never considered that Tina would act like that with her. Tina was always so peaceful and nice by nature. But this time she was just too busy. Entire time Rani Auntie kept entertaining her. But Kiran just hated it. She wanted to move with her friend not with her Mom. Kiran never went there after that. Since she was so bored by pretending that she was happy while she was not. Her Auntie was trying so hard but it never worked. This was worst. She always avoided to visiting them after this. But today she managed to complete her education. She decided that this was her last visit since she was planning to marry someone soon. She wanted to marry that boy since he was nice looking well educated perfect in every concept. She even started to feel that she was falling in love with him. Kiran started to missing him already. Kiran started smiling in his memory so Kiran felt that now Tina could not harm her. She started looking out of window of train. It was so wonderful. She loved those scene which were so enchanting part of nature. She just loved it. She was watching and trying to store it on her mind. She knew that in her busy days after marriage. She might not have time for any thing like that. At one point she was happy about her marriage on other point she was scared of it. She liked that boy but she started to feel scared of responsibilities. She wanted to enjoy her life. But then she didn't even want to be alone. Specially since all her friends were planning to marry. She didn't want to be left behind. She wanted to move ahead. She decided that she must took responsibilities now. She was grown up now. She had completed her education and she liked that boy. He was perfect.Whenever she remembered him, she started laughing. She knew that she liked him. She started to feel one thing that he was perfect for her. Then she thought that she kept thinking about this again and again. That was true reason behind her visit. She wanted to go away. She wanted to think peacefully. She knew that she was getting married. But she needed to take some breathe. This place was perfect for her. She was so happy to go there. Then she started to feel so relax. She suddenly noticed that she had reached to station. She was so shocked. She never sensed that she was so near. She descended from train. She started looking around. She was hoping that Tina would come to meet her on station. But then she noticed Rani Auntie and Uncle so one thing was clear that this was vacation was not going to get any better. She was so upset by this. She had expected some thing better from Tina. After all this might be her last visit. She just took out her suitcase and once again started pretending that she was so happy to see them. She kept telling them that it was wonderful that they managed to come for her on station. She didn't mention lack of Tina. She wanted to make every one happy. After all this was her last visit so she didn't want to hurt them. So she began chatting. But they were just interested in one subject, her husband. She wanted to avoid it but she didn't dare to tell it. Since she was sure that if she even indicate that they would think that it was forced marriage. She didn't want any one to think in this way. She liked that boy and she wanted to marry him. So she just kept describing every thing about him with smile. She knew that she liked him but after some limit it was getting irritating but she managed to hide it with her smile. She just kept telling about her to be husband.
When Kiran entered in Tina's house, it was no longer house which she remembered. It was not modern house. It was become old house which seemed to need every thing. Once upon a time that house used to look so beautiful that she used to feel so inferior about her house. But it seemed that they managed to ignore that house that it started looking so worst. Her Uncle needed to do interior. Tina was not even in house waiting for her. Kiran was clearly upset now. It seemed that Tina no longer cared for her. Kiran knew it in her heart. But she hoped that Tina would at least pretend. But Tina decided not to pretend. Then Kiran told herself that she must not act so emotional. She came here to relax before marriage. She must do it. She smiled. and asked Auntie regarding where she supposed to keep her luggage. Rani " Come on. No need to get so formal. You can keep it in same cupboard as you use to keep when you use to visit us in childhood." Kiran smiled Auntie was right. She could enjoy her stay. She went inside room.She opened cupboard. She was shocked when she saw that it was empty. She never expected it to be empty. Last time it was full of clothes. Kiran " Where are Tina's clothes? " " Ohh..actually Tina had to go out for some days." Now Kiran was so upset. They called her here and Tina didn't even stayed to meet her. Kiran looked at Rani. Rani was so nervous now. Rani " Sorry honey. But some one called Tina regarding a work. She needed that salary. " Uncle " When it comes to money we just need to run after that person. Tina needed money more than you." Uncle said it pointedly while showing his house. Kiran could sense now that her Uncle was pointing out regarding property dispute. Her Uncle always kept pointing her that they were suffering losses due to property dispute. When Kiran's family was never any obstacle of that case but Uncle always kept blaming. Kiran never answered him. She was scared of him from soul so she just avoided answering him. He was so rough to talk. He just liked taunting people time to time. Kiran always tried to stay away from him. Uncle was also not interested in chatting with her. Even now after saying those few lines he went inside his room. He was never interested in her. He was just interested in talking to those who helped him to get money or to generate more gossips. Kiran was so glad when he left room. Kiran just hated it when he started taunting her. When he went away, Rani immediately told her " Tina wanted to stay here but her friend called her. Actually her friend had some trouble and she needed help from Tina. You can't say no to person in time of need. Can you?" " What happened?" " Ohh I forgot to tell you? Actually her friend's son was risky. She wanted help about it." " That is bad news." Kiran wanted to ask how could Tina help her. But then she thought that Tina might stay in hospital for few hours. It would really help any one. She just sensed that Tina went in that place where she was truly needed. Kiran smiled. She was no longer upset with Tina. " Tina did right thing." Rani smiled happily. Then Kiran went in her room. She started moving ahead in normal way. She first took nice bath then she started reading book. She was relaxed and happy. She was so glad that she decided to come here. Then she suddenly heard voices of arguments. She slowly went in corner. She didn't want to hear their personal conversation but she heard those angry voices. She needed to hear it. She went there then she heard that Uncle was calling Tina Witch. Kiran was so confused. Why did Uncle was abusing his daughter like that. She wanted to ask him question straight way but she was too confused. She decided that she must not interfere. She once again started to read book. She sensed one thing that thing were not as normal as she thought. They turned in just worst way. It was lot better last time. She never felt so much hurt in life. She came here for relaxation but after hearing them. She wanted to cry. They set worst example of marriage for her. She just hated it. She just wished to call her parents and tell them that she wanted to go back. But she knew that things just turned in wrong way. Her Uncle and Auntie were going to get hurt by this. She didn't want that to happen so she just started to hide her tears. She began to read book again but this time she started listening to music. It really worked. She started to feel relax with it. Soon she began to get involved in her book reading again.

She wanted pictures which were promising for her mind. She wanted to think positive about marriage. It was need of positive thinking that brought her here. Until now Tina was always source of positive thoughts for her soul. Even when she came to talk with her for few moments. She felt as if she was source of hopes. But this time Tina was not there. She knew that Tina had her life. But if she was so busy then she should have told her. It was so wrong. She came here to meet Tina and she was totally missing from picture. She just wished from heart that she just stayed at home. But she needed peace and time to think. She wanted to marry but still she needed time. It was so wrong. She needed some one to share thoughts with. She just wanted to share her hopes. First time she began to think why did she came here by doing so large journey if she was so happy regarding getting married to Harish. She might need some time before deciding. She needed to feel sure about this. But she was so scared to say this. She was sure everyone would over react if she demand time. Harish might just assume it as insult. She didn't want to hurt him. She was so scared when she heard most strange line. Auntie screamed " My daughter is witch and I am proud of it. She helped me many times." " Really by burning our neighbor's daughter alive?" "It was mistake. She didn't mean it. That girl was challenging her everyday. So one time her anger went out of control. "" And she burned her alive? How can you say that? Kiran was shocked and confused. When suddenly her mobile rang, she ran to pick up call. It was Tina. Tina " Hello.." Kiran had to scream since she couldn't hear it properly. It was so strange. Tina called her on just that time when she was not about to hear her family secret. It seemed as if she knew that time. Tina " I am coming back." Kiran had to feel happy about it but she felt upset. But then she smiled. It was Tina. " Sure I am waiting for you." Kiran went out. When Kiran came out, Uncle and Auntie stopped their fight. Kiran " Tina is coming for Dinner." Uncle " Great." Then he immediately went in room. Kiran was so happy. She decided that she must help Rani in kitchen. Then they both started cooking. It was happy moments for them. Kiran started cooking happily. She began to feel so happy. Rani was talking about other things now. She was so happy that they were no longer discussing her marriage. When suddenly Rani asked " So when you are planning to get married?" " My date is not fixed." " Why don't you fix it?" " I just need time." " Come on. That boy is nice. You just need to move ahead. You like him?" " Yes. Harish is nice. But still I need some time." " You need some time? For what?" Kiran was upset now. Once again she started to feel same pressure inside her heart. She decided to change subject. Kiran " What about Tina? When she is going to get married?" Rani looked sad. Rani " I don't know. She never told me any thing these days." " I don't understand." When suddenly Tina came inside, she was so happy. She had dressed in different style. She was wearing one long gown. But Kiran liked it. Tina hugged Rani. Then she called one boy. That boy was good looking. But he was wearing simple clothes like some saint. " Mom this is Rocky. He is going to stay with us." Rani " Why?" Rocky " I am her student. In fact I like her so much that I wanted to give my life for her." Kiran was confused. Kiran " Are you getting married?" Tina started laughing in strange way. Tina " Witches didn't need to marry." Rani screamed " Stop it. Are you going to marry my daughter?" Rocky nodded. Rani " Good then I will arrange it immediately. " " As you like Mother." Rani was looking towards him with anger. It was clear that she didn't approve him. But still she agreed. Kiran was so confused. She just kept smiling. Then she returned to her cooking. It seemed as if she was no longer existed for them. She didn't want to hear their personal conversation so she started to go out. She thought that Tina might mind it. But Tina didn't even feel it. Tina was too busy. But then it was issue of Tina's marriage. It was important but she just needed to know one thing. Why did she was invited there in first place? No one was interested in her. But then she felt that it was her stupidity that she agreed. She just wanted to call Harish now. But then she thought about marriage and she began to get tense again. She just kept telling her soul that she would get over it. She just went out of that kitchen and started reading that book again. She wanted to solve her problem but it seemed that she managed to increase it. She didn't want to stay there.But she had to. Then she felt that Tina's marriage might give positive thought to her. She started smiling with hopes. Since she just wanted to get over her fear, she felt sure that once again Tina would help her. She felt so happy and hopeful again.
After sometime Kiran heard Rani's voice, she went out. Every one was sitting on table. She was happy when she noticed that Rocky was gone too. She knew that it was Tina's house so she could invite anyone but still she was not happy about having unknown man in house. After all he was not married to Tina but then he suddenly came out from guest room. She was so shocked. She never expected him to stay like that. It was so wrong. She knew that some people stayed together without marriage but she was not comfortable with that concept. She just wanted to go back. Then Rocky sat on table. He began to admire cooking of Rani. Slowly he began to talk about his properties. Soon it became clear that Rocky was wealthy. Then suddenly everyone became fond of him. Kiran was confused by this change of attitude. But when Rocky started talking nicely, she felt this was perfect marriage. Then they chatted for long time. Finally dinner was over. Rocky " I will stay in that room with Tina. Kiran can have Tina's room." Kiran was shocked now. Tina was not planning to spend any time with her at all. Then Tina took out big folder. Tina "You can watch movies from it." Kiran smiled and thanked her like good girl. Kiran was so shocked. Kiran never expected this. But she had to accept every thing that she get. Since she was a guest, she took those films. She went in room and started watching it. She wanted to enjoy it. But her mind kept coming back to issue of her marriage. When she suddenly heard loud screams, she ran out. Tina was sitting in room and Rocky was hitting her with stick. Kiran " What are you doing?" Rocky smiled. Rocky " This is our ritual." " Ritual? You are hurting her." " No..No..she had done this to me too." Then he turned behind. His full body was full of horrible marks. Kiran was so scared. She just ran out of that house. But then she got confused. She totally forgot that she couldn't stay like that outside in night. Then she went in house again. Rani was waiting there. Kiran told her " I want to go." Rani nodded. Rani " Let me book ticket for you in morning. You can go in day light. Now just sleep in your room." " But?" Uncle " She is witch. That is the reason behind getting such nice and rich boy. She had to keep practicing her magic." " Nonsense. She is mentally sick." " No..no..she is witch." Rani " Now stop this argument. Why don't you just go in room and sleep. I will pack lunch for you in morning then you can go." " I will lock my door." Uncle " That is wise decision. You can't trust witch specially after you saw her special ritual." Rani " Stop it. Kiran is not going to tell this to any one. Are you? " Kiran was so upset. Kiran nodded in negative way. Rani smiled. " So Tina would not harm her. Just go and sleep." When Kiran started to go in room, Tina suddenly came before her. Tina was looking strange and scary. Tina " I hope you sense importance of hiding it. You need to understand value of witchcraft." " Are you out of your mind? These are superstitions. This is not reality." " Really." Then Tina took hold of her hand and pressed it in strange way. Suddenly Kiran started to feel pain in her entire hand. Tina " Can't you sense it in my touch. I sent fire in you now it is going to burn you for entire life. You will never receive happiness until you don't beg forgiveness." Kiran was so shocked. She didn't know what she supposed to do. She was screaming in pain. When suddenly Rani auntie started asking for forgiveness, it was so wrong. Kiran wanted to protest. But then Tina seemed to be happy with this performance since Tina forgive her. But Kiran knew that she needed Doctor not Tina's acceptance of apologizes. It was so strange. Kiran just ran inside room and locked door. On that point she just dialed emergency number of Police. She told them every thing. She was so scared. Then she just closed her eyes. She could clearly hear Tina screamed and cursing her. Tina wanted her to beg for forgiveness. But it was not going to happen. Then after some time Police car came. Police started banging on door. She started to move towards door. But it just seemed so slow. Then she finally got out. She told Police " I want to go home." She started crying. Police nodded. One lady Police came to help her. Soon she was in ambulance inside hospital. During these things she felt so scared. She suddenly decided that she didn't want to marry. Her parents came there with Harish. She denied to meet them. She just started to tell them that she didn't want to get married to any one. It was so strange. She felt that she would do suicide instead of getting married to any one. It was her last attempt to survive so she kept screaming and telling she didn't want to marry.

I know from heart that she must be in love with someone else why else she is rejecting me like that?" Then suddenly one Doctor said " Because she is scared." Harish looked at him with confusion. " I am Doctor Khurana a Psychiatrist." Harish shook hand with him. " Let me explain this in details. Actually this is post traumatic symptoms. Was she scared regarding marriage responsibilities?" Kiran's Mom " She loved Harish but I don't know why? But she was scared to get married. She wanted to relax for sometime.She was so confused." Harish " If she had doubt regarding marriage.." Psychiatrist " Stop jumping on conclusion. She was scared of getting married. But she liked you. That was main reason behind her confusion. Actually it was common confusion. If she went to stay with some pleasant family, it would have positive effect on her. But sadly she went in that family where there was history of paranoid disorder. Do you know this?" Mom nodded negatively. " Actually my sister never showed any sign before marriage. I am not sure about now. But we never had any history of madness." Kiran's Dad " Stop pretending. Doctor Kiran's grandmother had some mental problem." Harish started to look scared. Harish " So it can be genetic." " I can't say without checking." Harish " I don't want to marry her." Psychiatrist " Now I feel you are taking this decision too soon." Harish" No I had it enough. I don't want to marry a mad girl. " Kiran's Dad" You are talking too much. If you want to cancel your marriage. It is fine. Since Kiran was against it already so you can break this engagement." Harish " Great." Then he gave back his engagement ring. Kiran's Mom " Wait." Kiran's Mom went inside. " Kiran give back that ring. Since you don't want to marry?" Kiran gave it immediately and smiled. Then Psychiatrist Khurana came inside. " So Kiran did you heard any voice telling you that Tina was witch?" " No..NO..Tina was not witch. Witch didn't existed. She pulled my hand and it managed to hurt me." " So why did you decide against marrying?" " Since I am scared." She slowly told Doctor that how did things happened before her. " What about Harish did you miss him?" There was tears in Kiran's eyes. " Yes. But I can't lie to him. " " About what?" " Mom wanted to me to lie about my family and that madness in it. But I want to tell truth." Psychiatrist " But why are you so scared? You are not mad." Kiran " Are you sure?" " Yes. This is just reaction of trauma. It will go after some time." " Then I can marry Harish." " No you can't. Since Harish is not ready to accept truth about madness in family. But you can find some one who will." Kiran gave sad smile and said " It is nearly impossible." Psychiatrist " Who knows? But until then what you want to do with life?" Kiran chatted freely with Psychiatrist. Then Psychiatrist came out. " Your daughter is just fine. She was scared due to this trauma. Now she would go ahead with her life in normal way. But remember one thing. You must tell about this mad person in family to her future husband." Mom " But it will take away her many marriage opportunities and my daughter is not mad." " I know. But she wanted to tell truth. Let her move ahead in her way. You need to work hard to find suitable boy. But I feel it is better that you tell truth since she can't hide it." Kiran's parents nodded. Kiran looked relieved when they excepted it. Kiran knew that she took hard way but she wanted to take way of truth. She didn't want to live in imaginary world like Tina. So she started life with truth. She decided that she would not lie about her problems. Since whenever she started to lie, her heart managed to hurt so much that it seemed better to suffer results of truth than getting success with lie.

I know from heart that she must be in love with someone else why else she is rejecting me like that?" Then suddenly one Doctor said " Because she is scared." Harish looked at him with confusion. " I am Doctor Khurana a Psychiatrist." Harish shook hand with him. " Let me explain this in details. Actually this is post traumatic symptoms. Was she scared regarding marriage responsibilities?" Kiran's Mom " She loved Harish but I don't know why? But she was scared to get married. She wanted to relax for sometime.She was so confused." Harish " If she had doubt regarding marriage.." Psychiatrist " Stop jumping on conclusion. She was scared of getting married. But she liked you. That was main reason behind her confusion. Actually it was common confusion. If she went to stay with some pleasant family, it would have positive effect on her. But sadly she went in that family where there was history of paranoid disorder. Do you know this?" Mom nodded negatively. " Actually my sister never showed any sign before marriage. I am not sure about now. But we never had any history of madness." Kiran's Dad " Stop pretending. Doctor Kiran's grandmother had some mental problem." Harish started to look scared. Harish " So it can be genetic." " I can't say without checking." Harish " I don't want to marry her." Psychiatrist " Now I feel you are taking this decision too soon." Harish" No I had it enough. I don't want to marry a mad girl. " Kiran's Dad" You are talking too much. If you want to cancel your marriage. It is fine. Since Kiran was against it already so you can break this engagement." Harish " Great." Then he gave back his engagement ring. Kiran's Mom " Wait." Kiran's Mom went inside. " Kiran give back that ring. Since you don't want to marry?" Kiran gave it immediately and smiled. Then Psychiatrist Khurana came inside. " So Kiran did you heard any voice telling you that Tina was witch?" " No..NO..Tina was not witch. Witch didn't existed. She pulled my hand and it managed to hurt me." " So why did you decide against marrying?" " Since I am scared." She slowly told Doctor that how did things happened before her. " What about Harish did you miss him?" There was tears in Kiran's eyes. " Yes. But I can't lie to him. " " About what?" " Mom wanted to me to lie about my family and that madness in it. But I want to tell truth." Psychiatrist " But why are you so scared? You are not mad." Kiran " Are you sure?" " Yes. This is just reaction of trauma. It will go after some time." " Then I can marry Harish." " No you can't. Since Harish is not ready to accept truth about madness in family. But you can find some one who will." Kiran gave sad smile and said " It is nearly impossible." Psychiatrist " Who knows? But until then what you want to do with life?" Kiran chatted freely with Psychiatrist. Then Psychiatrist came out. " Your daughter is just fine. She was scared due to this trauma. Now she would go ahead with her life in normal way. But remember one thing. You must tell about this mad person in family to her future husband." Mom " But it will take away her many marriage opportunities and my daughter is not mad." " I know. But she wanted to tell truth. Let her move ahead in her way. You need to work hard to find suitable boy. But I feel it is better that you tell truth since she can't hide it." Kiran's parents nodded. Kiran looked relieved when they excepted it. Kiran knew that she took hard way but she wanted to take way of truth. She didn't want to live in imaginary world like Tina. So she started life with truth. She decided that she would not lie about her problems. Since whenever she started to lie, her heart managed to hurt so much that it seemed better to suffer results of truth than getting success with lie.
