Broken marriage
Tina was clearing her pots as fast as possible. She wanted all to be clear before her husband, Satish's entry. Satish needed entire kitchen clear for his work. Their house was small. They supposed to adjust but according to Satish she supposed to adjust. He never needed to adjust. She remembered every day after her marriage she adjusted. Whenever he got sick she supposed to sit by his bed. But he never showed any concern about her heath. He just never cared. Tina wanted to object this. But she knew that no one would listen to her. Her parents were nice with her. They would help her in her sickness but if she started to complain about Satish. Both started telling her to adjust. They wanted her to remain with her husband and she was doing it. She needed to clean pots quickly. She was doing them as soon as possible. She was late on that day. She kept playing game on mobile and totally forgot timing. She began to feel so upset. She started regretting her decision. She was getting so late. She needed to hurry up. She began to do it as fast as possible. But her speed was just not enough. She was so scared. Satish loved her no doubt. He would not hit her. She knew surely but still whenever it came to dealing with Satish. She felt so scared. She began to shiver. She started to do it as fast as possible. She didn't sense that she was making big noise. Her noise was so loud that her mother-in-law Usha entered in kitchen. Usha was nice simple lady. She was not that much bossy so she never advised Tina anything in kitchen. But today she felt that this noise was too much. She needed to go in kitchen. Usha was shocked when she saw how fast Tina was washing plates. She was moving like machine. It was so fast that she actually began to get breathless. Usha sensed that Tina must stop. She was getting restless. She wanted to stop Tina without offending her. But it seemed like hard task. Actually Satish's marriage was love marriage so she didn't know much her daughter-in-law. Usha met her when Tina was introduced by Satish. After that they both got married. During purchase of gifts they chatted but truthfully Usha knew nothing about her. She didn't understand why did she needed to do cleaning so fast. Usha wanted to ask but decided not to interfere in their personal matters. Usha was enjoying her life in their home town. It was perfect until she didn't slip in bathroom and they needed to do her operation for dislocation of bones. Then Doctor told her that she needed someone to take care of her. She preferred to stay alone. But after this fracture she was clearly scared. She didn't want to shift but she didn't see any option. On that point Satish suggested a nurse. She agreed. She got one but it didn't seem to work. That nurse was so lazy that she needed to kept calling her for hours then finally she came. She was so frustrated. She was not much happy about entire situation. She decided that she didn't want that nurse again. When her plaster was removed, Satish came to remove it. Doctor clearly advised that she must keep some companion for sometime. She couldn't stay alone. It was so upsetting. Satish started to search for such maids. But soon they sensed that it was useless. So Usha decided to shift in her Son's house. She knew that this change might be hard for her. But she didn't want daily wastage of money on some useless companion. So she shifted in this house with view to stay out of way and adjust as much as possible. It was so okay but she didn't understand Tina at all. Tina was always so tense. Usha began to feel Satish must be dominating on her too much. She tried so hard to please him. Usha didn't like the way things were happening in her son's house. She never taught him to act this way with his wife. But he was not acting properly as she wished. When she was looking in kitchen suddenly Satish appeared from behind and asked " Mom what happened?" " Nothing. I just heard sound..." " That must be Tina cleaning our plates. She is like that only. She never managed to do anything right." Usha was so upset by his statement. She wanted to argue with him. But she decided against it. Since she knew that outsider must not interfere in matter of husband and wife. But she needed to answer him. Usha didn't understand how could she discipline her son at this age. She was observing Tina. Clearly Tina was not happy in this married life. She was always so tense. " Satish she appear tense on every moment did you keep taunting her like that?" " No..no Mom I never say anything about her on her face. You can see even today I said it when she couldn't hear." " But why did you need to say it?" He was so confused. He knew that he didn't need to insult her. But still he kept taunting Tina in one way or another. Tina was never respected as she deserved. Usha saw that even in her parents house she was not welcomed on her birth happily. She was forth daughter and her parents wanted son. So she never got that much respect. But Usha thought that Satish would change all. She felt that her son would be just like her. Sadly Satish never treated Tina with respect she deserved. It was so sad. Usha " I don't heard any thing. I came here since I wanted to drink glass of water." Satish looked at her in shock. Then he nodded. Usha decided to stay out of their life. She needed to give them break. She needed to let them move ahead in their own way. She knew that she must not interfere. But she knew that something was wrong and Satish was her son. She was responsible for his every action indirectly. She didn't like them. She went in room but her heart was still in kitchen. She didn't understand what was wrong with Satish. His father was never like that. In fact Satish was nice person too. But he was acting strange as husband. She knew that it was their personal matter but she could sense something was totally wrong. She needed to talk to her son. She was sure that now Satish would began to taunt her. Usha didn't understand why did this marriage suddenly turned this horrible way. She was so sure her son loved her daughter-in-law but now her thinking seemed like her mistake.
Tina sensed that Satish was in kitchen. She was so scared. She didn't understand why did she fall in love with Satish. He was so different on those days. She still remembered when she lost that gold earring and he was so nice to her. He said " Tina just relax. Life is so short. That jewelry is not worthy to waste minutes on it." She was so shocked when he didn't express anger. She thought that he was perfect man she dreamt. He was so perfect in every thing. She was so sure that she made right decision that she never took second opinion. She just decided that he was best. She was so much comfortable with him. She remembered that one day shoes managed to get broken. He even took her shoes in her hand when she tried to object he said " Come on. I am just taking to repairing not stealing it from you." " But what will people say if they saw ladies shoe in your hand." " I don't care about what people say. They have their mouths so they keep speaking. If you want happy life trust me. First step ignore people." Then he took her shoe in hand and went to repair it before whole college. She knew they were laughing and taunting but he didn't care. She still remembered that day like yesterday. He was so nice. They were meeting each other daily. She never thought that she would misjudged him. He was so nice and soft. She never saw him getting angry on anyone. She was so happy when he proposed her. She pretended that it was unexpected but in her heart she knew from beginning he would propose her. But she never guessed that he would ever hurt her the way he was hurting now. She shivered with fear. She just wanted to ran out of kitchen as soon as possible. Her hands were shaking. She felt strange fear building inside her with her every breath. She wanted to feel happy but she was feeling so sad. Then Satish began " Why did you need to make so much noise while cleaning pots?Do you need to inform entire society that our maid is on vacation so you need to do this work?" She was so shocked. She never thought that way about everything. She was trying just to hurry up. She was so upset. She wanted to cry on each moment. She needed to control her sorrows. She was feeling so sad. She never thought her marriage would turn in such disaster. She married to Satish and it was love marriage but not love at first sight. She talked with him. He was so nice. She once mentioned him to her Mom. Her Mom invited him to dinner.After it he was invited in every function. She was so happy about it. Satish was good looking and nice gentle man. He managed to impress all. No one spoke any word against him. In fact they all pushed her. She began to get attached to him step by step. She knew her attraction was playing biggest role on that point. She was so attached to him. She wanted to be with him. But she didn't want to keep relationship with him before marriage. She didn't want to get pregnant. She heard lots of stories like that. They were sad and horrible. She didn't want to become one of them so she kept herself away from him. But he kept coming near her and insisting. Finally she felt marriage was best option. When she suggested this her parents jumped with joy, she thought that they were thinking about her future but truthfully they were thinking about just their future. Her father was soon going to get fired from his job. His boss found out that he was stealing money from company. Luckily Boss didn't able to get proof so he just lost job. Mom wanted her to be married before this news came out. But they never told her about it otherwise she should have told Satish. But it was hidden from her. Soon after her graduation her parents insisted on their marriage on that point her father was caught in fraud. It was unknown to her. They threw big wedding party and lavish wedding. Every thing was perfect. Satish was happy and on top of the world. But then this happiness lasted just for sometime. On their honeymoon suddenly Satish came screaming her name in room. His face was red with anger. Truthfully he resembled to some monster of story. She was so shocked. She shivered with fear when he threw paper near her on her beautiful honeymoon bed. Suddenly her entire dream turned into nightmare. She read newspaper with sad eyes. Her father's company was getting bankrupt and they were mentioning fruads. Indirectly they were pointing towards her father. But she was in different mood on that point those words didn't make any sense to her. She didn't understand how did these things effect her life. Satish screamed " You can't cheat me by showing this innocent face. I know very well. You know all. After all you can sure see that money." She saw increase of wealth no doubt and she was happy about it. But she never wanted to discuss it's source. She knew that she needed to discuss but she didn't want to. She was enjoying wealth and she was happy. She never wanted to understand how did her Dad manage it. She didn't discuss truth because she wanted to forget it. She wanted to keep hiding from it. She wanted that money and luxuries for herself. Suddenly she began to stay with high class people. It was so nice and perfect. But on that point of her honeymoon she understood that it was all fake. Her Dad might land in jail. She started crying slowly but he didn't care. Satish was so angry. He just went out of room while leaving her alone to cry. It was so upsetting. She didn't understand what was her mistake. She didn't told him about his father's company since she didn't know but after that all changed. She still couldn't forget next day of her honeymoon. It was so shocking at horrible experience for her and after that every day became more and more worst. He was not that man whom she married. She was scared of him on every step. It was horrible for her. She didn't want to stay with him. But she didn't have any proper reason to complaint. She could easily sense that he wanted her to go away. But she knew that she couldn't.
Next day on Tina's honeymoon they supposed to go out for boating. But in morning Satish told her that they must go back. She wanted to argue but she asked sweetly " Why?" " Because you are boring and I need break from you." She was so shocked. Satish was clearly irritated by her. Then he started packing his bag but in middle he stopped and smiled. Satish " Why don't you pack lugguage?" Tina felt so confused so she packed. Then he ordered her to carry all bags. She did. It was strange sight. She was pulling all luggage while he was walking peacefully. He didn't care when he turned to her and said " Since your Dad is useless now I feel you must make yourself more useful for me. I want you to do small works like this in house." She shivered and nodded. Even today in kitchen she was doing same thing. Tina said slowly " Sorry I don't meant to make noise." " I know but you are making it. I mean even my Mom came towards kitchen. I want my Mom to feel that everything is perfect but if you keep on like that soon she would sense something is totally wrong. She would get upset. I don't want you to upset my Mom. She is precious to me." " I know. I never wanted to upset her." "But you managed to do it!!" He screamed on her once again. She was so frustrated since entry of her mother-in-law. He wanted everything to be perfect for her mother-in-law. He wanted her to cook those dishes which she never ate. She tried her best. She didn't answer him. She knew that keeping quiet was best on this point. Then he screamed. " I want to work now so you must not keep making noise here whole time. Just go to some other room." She nodded. In her heart she was so scared. She didn't understand what did she supposed to do. She just wanted to run out of room. She didn't even sense that Usha was watching her from corner. Usha didn't want to interfere. But still Usha was standing in corner and she didn't like the way Satish used her name. Usha never wanted any VIP treatment. She came here with view to adjust not argue. She was totally upset since she knew that she was no longer out of matter now. Satish was using her name to scare Tina. She slowly went out of her room. She went near Satish's bedroom. Tina was inside. Usha sensed that she was crying. It was worst for her. Usha decided that she must interfere Usha slowly knocked on her door. Tina controlled herself and said " Come in." When she saw Usha, she suddenly changed her face. Tina was no longer innocent girl. Usha could sense strange anger in it which was scary. Tina said in harsh voice " What did you want?" For few moments Usha felt as if she was hearing voice of some unknown person. Usha shivered. Usha " Actually I don't want anyone. I was planning to go in market did you want to join me?" Tina didn't answer her. She kept looking out of window. Usha knew that Tina was not normal. Something was wrong with Tina. She seemed so changed. But Usha decided to not comment on it. Usha just smiled and said " Okay as you wish." Usha literally ran out of room. Tina was observing her with full attention. Tina suddenly understood all. Tina was sure that Usha managed to posion Satish's mind. She knew that Satish couldn't change by his own thinking like that. She knew him from college. He was so sweet! He was so nice! He was just perfect. She was feeling so sad. She was so sure Usha did this. How did he knew about it on honeymoon trip? Then she remembered that he said he was going to call his Mom. She knew that Usha did all. Usha told him all. Tina was not suspicious on that point. But she heard his mobile ringing before he went out. He looked at mobile and saw whose name was on mobile screen. Then he went away. She knew that it was her mother-in-law. She knew that Usha never liked her that much. Usha always avoided her. She knew that Usha didn't want to come here. But when Usha was forced to come here, she decided that she needed to throw Tina out of her life. She was doing everything worst. Tina knew that Usha was worst dream of her life. She decided that she would fight back. She needed to do planning. She wanted to get over it. Tina started to plan how to take revenge on Usha. Meanwhile Usha was totally unaware of her anger towards her was planning to think some way to stop this. Usha decided that she needed to go to market. In market she would surely find some idea to encourage them to return to their old feelings. She needed to find some way in which she could find way to make their old memories alive. She got dressed and went out. As she came out of that house immediately Tina came running towards window. She looked down. She saw Usha and felt sure that she was doing all. She knew that Usha was evil from beginning. She could sense plan in Usha's every step. But she knew now so she was going to fight back. She decided that she needed to track Usha's every activity. Soon she sensed Usha didn't move around that much. Usha preferred to stay at home. Tina didn't feel it was entire truth. She knew that Usha must hiding some secrets in her room. She decided that she must search Usha's room in her absence. When she noticed that Usha was out of house, she slowly went out. She made sure that Satish was working in kitchen. He was totally involved in his work. He actually seemed to have forgotten about entire world. She began to feel so happy. She could search Usha's room now. It was perfect moment. She slowly went towards Usha's room slowly. She went inside and started looking around. She found everything normal. She didn't find anything wrong. She clearly began to feel upset. She needed to find something wrong in that room. Usha was responsible for mess of her life. She just needed to search it and prove to Satish that she was innocent.
Satish was working when he sensed that Tina was watching him slowly. He didn't understand that why did he married her. He knew answer in his soul. He married her just because she was from rich family but on their honeymoon he received that call. It was from his colleague who never liked to see him happy in his life. He informed him about this news. At beginning he felt that it was small thing. But when he purchased newspaper, he sensed that it was big thing. He was getting bad reputation due to his father-in-law. Tina was beautiful. But he was not concerned about it that much. He was interested just in reputation. He always cared for his reputation. He always talked gently with people. He never spoken a word loudly unless it was necessary. But now as Tina's husband he was facing criticism every day. He just wanted to get rid of her. He wanted to file divorce. But he couldn't find a reason. He couldn't convince jugde that since her father was corrupt he needed divorce from daughter. He regretted this marriage from first day. Tina was not modern. She didn't chat with people freely and couldn't win any contract for him. He sensed one thing that she was only useful as kitchen maid or cleaner. He didn't want her in that house. He kept avoiding her every day after knowing about her father. He didn't want her to be pregnant. It would increase his troubles. At beginning he felt that she might object but she didn't. She was too scared of him. He knew that she was looking at him since she wanted to do something behind his back. He didn't want to warn her so he kept pretending that he was totally lost in his world. But when she turned back and started to go, he slowly followed her. He was shocked when he saw her entering in Usha's room. He knew that her father was thief but he didn't expected it from her. She seemed like decent girl. He was so shocked. She was trying to steal something from her Mom. He kept walking behind her. She didn't sense. She kept looking. He was so confused. She was not picking up anything. He just needed chance. Then he saw that she found keys of his Mom's cupboard. Now she was about to turn behind. He sensed it and he managed to hide. Then she opened cupboard. He was watching. She kept searching. He didn't understand what she was searching. She clearly pushed away Mom's jewelry box. Then she took out photo album and smiled. She began to watch photos. She kept watching them. She was trying to find something in them. Then she took that photo album and closed cupboard door. She went back in her room. She kept watching those photos for hours. He didn't understand what was meaning of this. He knew one thing that she was thief and he wanted to throw her out of his life. He went towards her. He wanted to slap her but he didn't. He didn't want to do domestic violence. He said in angry voice. " What were you doing in my Mom's room?" She turned towards him. She was so scared. "Your Mom did this!! I have proof inside this album." She began to abuse his Mom. He was so angry. He wanted to slap her. He came towards her but she ran out of his reach. He was glad since he didn't want to slap her. " Why does you want to harass my Mom?" " No..no I am not harassing her. She was truly trying to harm me. Let me show you proof." Tina was sure that there must be proof in photo album. She knew that. She sensed it. Tina began to scream " There was proof in it. I know it." " Who told you?" " I sense it." Satish began to laugh in strange way. " I tell better story. You are planning to steal just like your father. You are trying to steal from my Mom." She was so shocked. She never had such wrong intention. She always wanted to prove her innocence. " She did all I have proof. Photo album must have it.". She kept searching for proof whole time. She didn't find any proof. He was so upset. He came near her and pulled her with his hand. She was sitting on floor with photo album. Now she was standing and looking at him. She was now in eye to eye contact with him. She shivered with fear. She was so scared. She didn't sense reason of her fear. She knew that she had proof. But she didn't find them. It was sad and scary. He took photo album in his hand. He started searching. He was so happy when he found that she was clueless. He knew that she was lying from beginning but then he knew that he had some of his own guilty secret. He tried to do many deals while using her father's position which all turned useless now. He didn't want her to have any proof of it. But still he was scared. Then he began to scream " You have lied. I can see are no proof of any thing." She kept saying that she had them. But she didn't. He took hold of her hand and pushed her towards cupboard. " Pack your bags and get lost." Tina was shocked. Tina " I don't steal..." Then he started throwing her things in bag himself. She began to cry. He packed all. Then he opened locker. He gave her keys of locker. " This bank locker of all jewelry. You can have it. I am not taking anything from you. Just get out." She kept crying. He pulled her by hand and threw her out of house when he came back. Usha came out of lift. She saw that people were gathering. She ran towards Satish and asked " What's wrong?" Satish " Nothing Mom. Just this girl is thief. She is stealing from bedroom." Tina screamed " No..no I am trying to find proof." She pointed towards Usha and said " She did it all." Satish " Did you observe Mom? She is pointing finger towards you without cause." Usha was upset but then she could see Tina was not normal. She could see strange look in her eyes and she knew that her son was cause of it. Usha " She is not feeling well. Look at her." Satish screamed " I want this thief out of my house!" " Then let's call her parents." Satish knew very well that Tina's parents wouldn't take her back. He was not going to take risk. " No. I want her out of house." Tina just kept watching him. She suddenly forgot even to cry. She sensed that he didn't want her. Her parents didn't want her. She didn't have any words. Usha said " I will take her with me in village." Satish didn't like this idea. He wanted divorce from her. But when he saw determination on Usha's face, he nodded. Usha took her bag and forced Tina to come with her. Usha didn't went to book ticket immediately instead she called her Doctor friend.
Usha's Doctor friend understood her trouble. Doctor " Tina needed treatment and it can't be given in your home town." " Then how could I manage." " Don't worry. You can meet Psychiatrist then he would tell you how could you arrange all." Then she gave number. Usha took appointment. She went in that clinic with bags and waited. When they entered, Usha explained all to psychiatrist. Psychiatrist heard every thing. Psychiatrist " We can fix appointment and you can just come on that time. Normally I can suggest things on phone. I feel her case is of simple depression. Satish's sudden change managed to damage her psychology but we can handle it slowly." Then he explained procedure. Usha sensed that she needed to come again and again for visit but she decided that she could treat it as change of scene for her too. Tina sat for sometime with psychiatrist when she came out. She was little normal. She agreed to go with Usha. On that point they started different life. Usha became her mother and soon Satish became unknown person to her. He divorced Tina. Usha never able to forgive him for playing with life of Tina. Usha never met him ever again. She just began to live as Tina's mother and Satish never tried to interfere. Satish just took his share of his father's property and went away in his own way.
