Just to find work
Kamini was so excited about every chapter of her new play. It was going to be wonderful play. It had many turns and twists. She was so excited. Today her husband Satish was planning party. He had one director friend who was planning to do performance of this play. She was so excited. She planned to act in that play for long time. She wanted to start this career for long time. But she never got this chance. She was wonderful actress in her college days but then suddenly things were changed. She didn't get any chance in that profession. She was trying so hard. But her family was not much supportive. But it was just in beginning. After sometime even they accepted her decision. They started helping her. But her career never moves ahead as she wished. It remained stuck on that point. She needed break. Just one break could have changed her life but it never happened. She was so hopeful that one day her life would be something special. She wanted to be some one great. When she started her career people appreciated her some admired and some criticized. But she knew one thing that she was on their mind. Now no one cared about her. They were not interested in her. Once she used to do acting. But then she began to sense that she was going nowhere. She didn't got that chance. Then her parents introduced her to Satish in one party. They started dating. Then they fall in love. By that time she sensed that her career was not that much promising. So they got married. It all happened as per other people's desire. She never thought properly in life. She just went ahead as per destiny ordered. She never thought clearly what she was doing. Satish was nice boy so she fall in love with him as per rule of normal life. She was not so much happy. She wanted to say it but she didn't. Her Dad was already uspet regarding money wasted on her career. He felt that she didn't got much in return. He wanted something in return so he wanted her to get married to someone. But it was so worst situation. She knew that she needed to fall in love with Satish. She began to feel that things were getting worst if she wanted to be happy then she must fall in love. She felt that she must fall in love with Satish. She even managed to do it. But she kept feeling one thing. It was practical. Then she went ahead in life. She did all with smile. But she didn't feel as if it was real. She felt everything was fine but still she was not actual part of it. She was out of it. She felt as if she was just pretending all. She wanted to get involved but it was not happening. She was so upset. Then she got pregnant. She was so happy. She felt that this baby would bring happiness in her life. She felt that this baby would start new journey for them. She gave birth to little boy. He was cute. She loved him. She took proper care of him. But she didn't feel happy as she wanted to feel. She started watching mirror. Her figure was not that good now. She felt one thing that she still wanted to work. She still had hope to join back her work again. She kept feeling restless day by day since she was not getting work. In fact she was not even searching for it now. After baby all were expecting her to settle in her motherhood but she wanted something different. But she was still hoping to find role. She decided that she needed to stay fit. When her son became older, she talked with Satish about joining gym. Satish looked confused. Satish " You are not overweight and baby is too small. You can't diet now." " I can. I asked pediatrician about it. He agreed." Satish was not happy about wasting money but still he nodded. Satish " Fine. But still I feel we now need to save. " " I am planning to earn." " What?" " I am planning to start my acting again." Satish started laughing. Satish " Get over it. Noone will offer role to you now. Just look at yourself!!" " I am fine. Just little older but I can get role of mature character." " Like mother of heroine!!" " She felt so sad. She didn't like the way he was saying it. But she decided to not get discouraged. She said with smile " Perfect!! They pay large sum even for it. I might get more roles and earn large sum." Satish looked upset. Satish " But look at yourself. You are no longer young. You are no longer that girl who just came out of college?" " But I can do roles of elder sister.." She took deep breath and said " Of heroine's mother too." Satish looked shocked. But then he smiled and said "Fine I really don't mind. I don't want to stop you." She felt so happy. She joined gym and returned back to her shape again. She was so happy when she watched herself in mirror. She began to feel proud of herself. She just needed one start now. Her son was going in school so she had time for herself. She knew that a babysitter could manage him. So she began to search for opportunity. Then one day Satish mentioned his friend Kunal. He said that Kunal could offer her a role. She was so happy and excited. So she purchased nice dress. She even bought jewelry. She spent lot of money. She didn't even thought about it's pressure on her budget. It was just investment. It was just way to earn more. She kept hoping that she would get role. Now finally before few days this play came in her hand. She was so excited to read it. She felt so happy about it. She wanted to get involved in this play. But for it she needed to convince this to Kunal. He was going to come today. She kept watching herself in mirror again and again. She was so no doubt a pretty lady. She was looking so much young. She was so happy. She knew that she would surely get role. She was very excited about it. She was trying so hard to become part of play and when she watched herself in mirror, she sensed that she was beautiful. She started waiting for Kunal. She was sure that she would get role. She needed a break and Kunal was key towards her hope. She was so happy. She was happy even if he offered her a small role but she needed a role. She needed a break. She needed to move ahead in her career. She was feeling so promising. She was so hopeful. She was feeling so upset by just thought she might not get role. But then she convinced herself that she would.
Kunal was driving car slowly. He wanted to go in party. But he was not that much excited on that day. He was driving carefully car on each turn while looking out of window. He could see many scenes. Those scenes were creating impact on his mind. He wanted to feel fresh but he was feeling so upset. He started to sense that incidence of morning was still in his mind. His wife was wandering with a another man. He saw her. He was so upset. He went out of car to question her and she started laughing. She asked " Come on. You have numerous affairs. I am sure that you even lost their track and you are objecting my one friendship." This was truth. But it was different. It was okay to have affair himself but watching his wife doing same thing was hurting him. He was planning to file divorce. He wanted to discuss this all with lawyer. But lawyer didn't talk at time of night. They did it only in case of emergency and this was not emergency. It was so upsetting. He didn't want to go anywhere. He just wanted to sit in his house and get drunk but it was not possible since his wife was there. He didn't want to create drama before kids. His kids were precious to him. In this situation this Satish's party seemed like best thing. He knew that no one would stop him from drinking there so he could easily get drunk. He wanted to go to that party and he wanted to forget his wife. Kunal finally managed to reach there. It was nice house. He didn't expected such good house from Satish. Satish was never smart in school. Satish just kept reading books and according to Kunal they were useless thing. Kunal was famous but he never spent days in library. He spent his days in celebrity. He knew that for getting nice money he needed contacts. He worked hard to get them and finally even managed to get them. He was so happy about getting those contacts. He was very excited. But at beginning he didn't understand how to use them. Then slowly he learnt to use people until now he used many but no one used him. But his wife was first person who used him and even felt proud about it. He was so irritated. He wanted to just started drinking to relax himself. He entered in that house. He soon sensed that he was not going to be alone. His hostess Kamini came towards door running. He sensed her desire immediately she wanted a role. He knew lots of people who wanted them. He even offered to many but today he was not planning to do it. He wanted to relax. He was so upset when Kamini started talking with him. He wanted to get rid of her. He was not interested in talking. He started searching for Satish. But Satish was not in sight. He noticed many guests had arrived. It was clear that he was busy. Kamini smiled sweetly. Kamini was dedicated to get part. She began to chat nicely. He wanted to avoid her. Kamini sensed it but she didn't have any option. She needed that break. She needed to talk with him. Kamini gave sweet smile. He was so upset. He didn't want to talk with her. But he sensed that he must get over with this. He decided to use direct approach. Kunal " So Kamini are you smiling with anything specific in mind?!!" She was confused by his direct approach. She didn't understand what she supposed to do. She decided that she might talk directly but then she felt that it would look greedy. She decided to ignore this chance. She smiled and said " Nothing like that. I just came to welcome you." Kunal liked it. Kunal " Then let's go. Today I don't want to talk anything professional." She nodded. Then she went to cocktail table. He kept talking to her sweetly. She didn't like the way he was acting. He was cracking wrong kind of jokes. She didn't want to listen to him. Still she kept smiling. She was so frustrated. But she needed that role. She spent so much money on gym and now she wanted it back. She was so upset. She knew that if she didn't get that money soon this news would reach to her father. Satish was like that. He never stopped complaining. She hated it but he always kept telling all to her parents. Her Mom was okay but she get upset too when she started to sense she wasted money. Kamini didn't want to her family to know all this. She needed this job so she kept laughing and entertaining him. She didn't sense that other guests were watching her. Specially friends were watching her. Her friends were not truly her friends but they were just her old college and schoolmates who were observing her carefully. She didn't want to invite them. But Satish insisted since few of them were his clients. Actually he didn't deal with wives, he was doing deal with husbands but wives were automatically invited. After all her friends were group of girls who were married to rich men. She kept friendship mostly with daughters of famous people. She needed contacts for roles but sadly it didn't work. But those girls kept taunting her and calling her less. She tried to handle it with smile. She was so upset while traveling with them. She used to feel every picnic was burden. She needed to handle them with smile while they kept taunting her. But she always hoped that she would get rid of them after marriage but sadly life didn't turn out that easy for her. She needed to invite them in every function to please Satish. She didn't understand how did Satish was good husband for her. Everyone said that he was great but she never observed that greatness in him. She always felt stress while adjusting with him. Even now she knew that if she didn't get role in play then he would complaint. But she didn't understand that her friends who were actually her worst enemies were more risky. First one started talking "Did you notice Kamini?" " Another immediately observed and smiled in strange way. Then she said " Kamini will go out with him today!!" They all started laughing. They all didn't need to confirm. They could say whatever they decide. That was their attitude. They began to create story about Kamini with details which were far away from truth. Kamini was just standing near drunk man while he was cracking vulgar jokes on her. Soon she sensed that this didn't work so she started to go away. On that point Kunal stood up and went to take his food. That was all. They never met again in that party.
Next day Kamini was shocked when Satish came in room screaming " What is this Kamini?" She was just awake. She didn't see that paper properly. Then she started rubbing her eyes. Finally she saw. It was her picture in which her neck seemed too low. She felt so exposed. She was moving down towards Kunal. It was looking as if she was planning to kiss him but in reality she was just telling him name of drink. Kunal was so drunk that he didn't understand anything. Kamini " Come on!! You know these reporters!! I was with you entire night!!" " Yes. But my parents, friends all will read this." He was pushing newspaper towards her. She was so upset now. She never thought someone was clicking her picture. She didn't sense it. She started reading article. It was about Kunal's new affair with mystery woman. Kamini was so shocked. She didn't understand how could anyone print such a nonsense. She was so scared now. Her son would going to read it. People would see this. They all considered her something wrong. She didn't understand why did anyone do this to her. She started crying. She began to feel strange sensation in her stomach. She was sick. She wanted to move out of her bed. But she couldn't walk. Whole world around her started shaking. She began to shiver. She couldn't able to see anything around her. She knew that she was going to fall on floor but she didn't care. She forced herself to stand. But she couldn't. She started to fall on floor. Satish took hold of her hand and she started to feel pain. He was holding her too tight. She could sense anger in his touch. She just went back to bed. She said in shivering voice " I just want to sleep.." truthfully she didn't want to wake up at all. Her life was shattered. She couldn't face people. They all recognise her by that picture. She began to cry. She couldn't open her eyes and face Satish. She just kept saying " I was just standing and asking for role." She was so upset. She kept sleeping in that room. Doctor came and prescribed some medicine to reduce her tension and they managed to put her to sleep. She was so happy when she fall asleep. She wanted to stay that way for entire life. She was so confused during that period she didn't sense anything except one thing that Satish was angry. Everyone was angry and noone believed her. She was innocent but she couldn't prove it. She knew that even Satish knew this since she was with him during entire time except few moments she spent with Kunal just to ask for role but they destroyed all for her. She kept thinking why anyone did that to her. She didn't open her eyes. Satish was trying his best to control his anger. He didn't understand what was happening in his life. He kept receiving strange call. Some were from relatives and friends too. They wanted to know if he was planning for divorce. It was so frustrating. He sensed that even their son looked upset. His son sat near him with eyes full of tears and asked " What is affair?" He was shocked. He didn't expected this from lips of his little son. He didn't understand who could talk like that before him. But world was so cruel many times. He gave forced smile and said "When husband or wife start to love another person instead of person whom they married it called affair." " Dad did Mom love someone else?" Satish was so upset. Now he needed to convince their son that his Mom was still in love with his father. He just wished that Kamini should have forgotten that role. He was so upset. Satish " Nonsense!! Who told you that?" " They have photo in newspapers!!" " Ohh that one!! Actually your Mom is actress. Don't you know that?!!" He nodded his little head. Satish was so upset but still he got one idea. He smiled at his intelligence. Satish " She was doing role of vamp for Kunal Uncle and they clicked photo." His son started laughing. His son found it entertaining. His son jumped with joy and said " I tell it to all." Satish nodded. Satish decided to repeat this lie to everyone. He was so happy. He ran inside Kamini's room. He sat beside her on bed and told her about it. But Kamini shivered. She was so scared. She didn't want to see Kunal again. Kamini " But I don't want to do any role." Satish felt so angry. After doing so much drama she was saying that she didn't want it. Satish " You must do it. I insist." She was feeling so sick. She didn't want to go out. She wanted to stay in that room. She was scared of light. She was so scared. Kamini " But I just wanted to sleep." She looked so confused. She didn't want to work again in any play. She was so scared of people. She knew that everyone would doubt her. She knew that they all would consider her flirt. She didn't want to face world. Her picture from newspaper kept coming. She kept shivering. She had not seen her beloved son for two days. She knew that she was not perfect mother but still she loved her child. She kept thinking about him. It made her more sad. She kept feeling strange sorrow in her soul. She didn't want to face anyone. Satish was so frustrated. He didn't understand what was Kamini's desire. First she did so much for her career and now she was not even ready to cooperate with his plan. Then his mobile rang. It was Kunal. Kunal was clearly angry. Kunal " This is total lie!!" " I know. My wife was with me entire time. But these people just print anything. I was so upset but then I got one idea." " What idea?!! I am so upset. My wife is planning for divorce how she will use it. She could grab large amount of money with this picture. She needed to prove my affair." " But this is fake!!" " We need to prove it. What is your idea?" " Well!! I am telling everyone that Kamini was doing audition for role of vamp." Kunal started laughing happily. Kunal was on top of the world. Kunal " Perfect! I will declare all." " But there is big trouble in it." " What?" " Kamini had nervous break down. She is not coming out of room.." " Since when? After seeing that photo." Kunal took deep breath. Kunal " I am coming. We must convince her." Kunal immediately came out of flat and he sat in car.
Kamini was sitting in her room alone. When Satish called her, Satish smiled and told her " Kunalji is here and guess what? He got good role for you!!" Satish was happy about it but she was not interested. She was so scared. " I don't want to go out." Why? Come out meet Kunalji." "No..no" she shivered with fear. Kunal waited outside. But when she didn't come, he entered in room with Satish. After seeing that dark room he suddenly remembered suicide case of his one old heroin. He had no doubt. Kamini needed psychiatrist. He tried to talk with Kamini kept shivering and stammering. Finally when Kunal sensed that it was useless, he came out. Kunal decided that he would wait for somedays if nothing worked then he would suggest psychiatrist. Her son waited for long time. She kept herself locked for a week. Her son was so upset. Satish convinced him that it was all misunderstanding. Her son didn't understand why did Mom kept herself locked. He went inside. Kamini looked at his face and started crying loudly. He felt so scared. She no longer seemed like Mom to him. She looked like witch to him. Not good witch like Sabrina but bad one who torture people. He screamed and ran out. After that Kamini started to feel worst. She lost all. Finally after fifteen days Kunal came again. This time he came with his psychiatrist friend. Kunal " Satish those rumours are increasing. We must clear all as soon as possible. So I planned to launch in beginning of next month after fifteen days." " But Kamini can't stand before people in fifteen days!!" Psychiatrist " Let me decide it. I am psychiatrist. I can tell you what is her situation." Then Satish told all. Psychiatrist smiled. Psychiatrist " This is just normal nervous break down. Little bit like posttraumatic symptoms. I will handle it. But let me see patient first." Psychiatrist went in room. Kamini didn't let him open curtains. " People will see it.." "But I thought people supposed to see it."" I don't understand." " That photo in paper. Kunalji wanted it for publicity. It will do great job. Just think you will the famous vamp. Don't you want to play negative character? I mean as heroin.." " I don't see much future. In negative character there is so much chance to do acting. I like them." Psychiatrist asked Kunal to produce photo in paper. " Can't you see?" Kamini didn't able to see it in that darkness. She suddenly asked Satish to open curtain. She watched photo. It was true. In it she looked just like perfect villian. No one could doubt it. She turned to watch her face. It was mess. " But I am looking so sick." Kunal " Don't worry we will manage it." She looked around. Kamini " But this room is so cold." Psychiatrist "Because AC is high." Psychiatrist started to reduce it. Satish opened doors. Kamini was still sick but she started feeling better. She knew that she could manage to do role if she decided. She stood up. This time she able to steady her legs slowly. Then she sensed hand of Satish around her. He smiled. Satish " Just relax." She sensed that she could do it. She sensed that Satish never doubted her. He was just concerned. Kunalji was also there to help her. She said happily " I will do that role. If I am not guilty why I need to hide." They all smiled. It was beginning of her new life. First time she truly fall in love with Satish.
