Desire of child
Ravi was so busy in planning for his future that he sometimes didn’t have time for present. He slowly looked towards picture of his wife Arpita. Arpita was such beautiful. He knew that she had plenty of boys after her. She didn’t selected any one. It was not easy to convince her to marry him. He smiled towards her picture. He created that picture in mall. It was wonderful sketch did by pencil artist. He took her to mall. Arpita was not that much interested but he was interested. He forced her to sit for hours. Just for this one picture! He once used to smile by remembering it. But now he felt so sad. He didn’t want to waste his time on it. He wanted to enjoy time with her. But he knew that it was too late. He kept looking towards her picture & his empty house. He knew that no one was there. He didn’t wanted to become father so soon. He needed to settle. He wanted to purchase his flat. Now he had his flat but it was empty. He could see small room in corner. In it he could see all arrangements for sick person. He arranged all for his mother. His sick mother was coming to stay with him. He was feeling so restless. He knew that he needed to pay attention to that room. Arpita was not coming back. She didn’t want him. She wanted child. He agreed but it was not possible. She couldn’t live without child. He wanted to argue. But he didn’t want to face all. He sighed. He was so scared. He didn’t want anyone to know that he couldn’t become father. He was so scared. He signed that divorce papers. He knew that he couldn’t forget her but he couldn’t deny divorce. It was all his fault. He wanted to cry loudly. He knew that it was not just his mistake. Arpita was feeling so lonely. But he never had time. He remembered how Arpita spent time when she was alone on her birthday. He was too busy. He knew that even today he would go out. He just needed nurse to come. He was working so hard to find some nurse. But Nurse were not so promising in his eyes. He wanted Nurse whom he could trust. But it was so problematic. Sometimes he didn’t trust Nurses & sometimes those Nurses didn’t trust him. It was funny combination. Finally today one Nurse agreed to come. He was just waiting for her. He once again looked towards Arpita. She was so beautiful. He kept watching her for hours but he knew that he needed to go for work. His Mom was coming. He supposed to receive his Mom with smile & new Nurse. He didn’t want his Mom to miss Arpita. He knew that he was missing her on his each breath but he knew that it was his mistake. He didn’t want to explain all to his Mom but in his soul he knew that he couldn’t change what happened. He was waiting for Nurse. Finally after sometime one lady came with child in her hand. He thought that she was nurse. He ran towards her & screamed on her “ I was waiting for such a long time, Mom will come soon..why you brought child with you?” Before that lady could speak his mobile rang. It was call from Agency’s Nurse. He was confused so this lady was not Nurse. That Nurse said “ Sorry Sir but I have high fever. I can’t come.” He was so upset. He couldn’t argue. But he had doubts that Nurse was not really sick. His house was far away so they didn’t want to come. Agency tried to arrange this Nurse. But she managed to reject his work too. He was so upset. He looked that lady & said “ Sorry I thought you are Nurse.” She smiled & said “ I am Hina. Remember I use to stay next door to you.” He nodded. Hina slowly added “ I am not expert but I have taken care of my mother-in-law for long time. Then I took care of bed ridden husband too. I know what I supposed to do. I even knew medicines of your mother since I stayed beside her. I use to come to take care of her time to time. I just want you to trust me & give this job. I will keep my daughter in babysitting.” He looked towards that baby girl. She was so nice & innocent. He just said “ No need to worry. You can keep her here. She is too small for babysitting. But you need to manage all including cooking for all.” “ No problem.” Then he pointed towards small room near garage. “ I keep my cars here. You can use one if you want..” “ I can’t drive. I will call Cab.” didn't say anything. He just nodded. It was very stressful for him. He began to think that he just needed someone. He said " Fine." Then he declared her salary. It was so upsetting. He didn't understand how did he would convince his Mom. But he knew that he needed to do it. Now he didn't have much option but he needed to wait for his Mom. It was so upsetting. But he smiled. He waited with Hina. He didn't want his Mom to miss Arpita & he decided that he would make sure about it. He didn't want his Mom to remain without Nurse. He knew that Hina was not Nurse. He was feeling so guilty. But he had no option. He kept telling himself that he had no options. It was becoming like chant in his mind. He did small plastic smile & then he heard voice of ambulance. His Mom came out on wheel chair. She immediately started looking for Arpita & he sensed. He was feeling so upset. He started to feel so sad. He knew that his Mom would ask. He felt so sad. His Mom slowly asked " Arpita is not here." He smiled & lied "She will come late." His Mom nodded. Then his Mom looked to Hina. Then his Mom smiled. " I will stay with Hina. Who is this angel?" Hina began to chat. He was not interested in this chat. He just went to garage. He took out his car & drive away. He could see Hina watching him with shock. But he didn't care. Arpita was gone with her his life was destroyed. Now he was staying alive just for his Mom & since he felt suicide was act of weak minded person. He began to drive slowly & with smooth speed. The way he was driving no one could notice his mental stress. His driving was totally perfect. He kept driving away from his house & his Mom. He was going to come late. If Hina decided to leave earlier then his Mom would need to stay alone he had no option. He needed to do his job & earn money. It was his only ambition in life. He began to drive towards his office with full confidence. He just wanted someone to take care of Mom & he got Hina for it.
Hina was so shocked when Ravi went away like that. It was so odd. But she was not going to complaint. She just needed one room in this house to stay with her daughter . She knew that Ravi’s Mom would surely keep her. She was scared that Ravi’s wife Arpita might object but she didn’t see her around. Clearly Arpit didn’t want responsibility of mother-in-law so ran away. Hina felt that Ravi must be in hurry to meet his wife after it he would go in office. She looked around in house. It was beautiful. She loved it. She knew that hostess of this house was not going to come. She smiled happily & put her daughter on sofa. She could sit & relax. She decided to take shower. She knew that no one was going to complaint here. She started to go in kitchen after starting TV for her daughter. She knew that now her daughter would keep watching TV for hours. She was so glad. She would cook properly. She wanted to make best dinner. She wanted to stay in that house forever. She knew that it was hard but she was going to do it. She didn’t want to return to that house. First her husband was abusive. Still she tolerated him for long time. She regretted her decision of marriage. She never thought that he would be that worst. Her brother arranged this marriage on suggestions of her sister-in-law. She met boy selected by her family. He was acting so nicely. Most importantly he was giving her so many luxuries. She never went on beach. He took her. She never went in different malls or wonderlands. They sat on rides. He ordered all she loved. She was so happy so she immediately agreed to marriage. At beginning he was sweet but then slowly she sensed that he was going to another woman. She tried to argue & he entirely changed. Her became abusive. Soon she understood that he was not having affair but he was harassing that lady. In fact that lady filed Police complaint against him. She still remembered that day like yesterday when Cops came in her house. They dragged her husband out of house. She wanted to ask why but she fainted. When she woke up she was sleeping in her bed & lady Cop was sitting. Lady Cop said “ This is worst thing for you now. You are pregnant. Do you know your husband have attempted rape and charges on him?” She didn’t know about it. But she was not so shocked. She knew that he could do anything when he took some desire in his mind. Her husband could do anything. She slowly asked that Cop “ Can I leave this town before he comes back?” “ Sorry you can’t you need to talk Cops during trial on your husband.” That day she cried so much. She took all sort of mental stress with hope that her child would die. Now she looked towards her daughter. Her daughter didn’t die. She didn’t have abortion even after stress of questioning & giving statements in Court. Her brother told her that she must not visit him ever. She forced to stay in her husband’s house. Just days ago she understood that Ravi’s Mom was sick. She took this as a chance to escape. She told all so Cops told her that she could go away. She knew that Ravi’s Mom liked her so she would keep her as help. She needed to find this job at any cost. Her brother was not going to help so she forced to find someone else. This house was great. She slowly started cooking. She knew that she needed to show her best skills. She was sure that if her cooking was best Ravi would keep her. So she did all dishes in her best way. She wanted to impress Ravi & his family. It was important for her. She was cooking for long time. Then she went to attend Ravi’s mother. She came in with smile. Ravi’s Mom was frustrated. Ravi’s Mom “ Where were you?” “ I was cooking!” “ You are such slow. You are cooking for hours.” “ I am so sorry.” continuously apologising become her hobby since her marriage so Hina apologised dutifully. Hina was not upset by this at all. Ravi’s Mom was so happy by her this behaviour that Ravi’s Mom wanted her to stay with her forever & Hina knew this. Hina smiled sweetly then Ravi’s Mom asked “ Can’t you stay here with us?..I mean I am here with Ravi… & his wife Arpita would join us soon too.” Hina pretended that she was confused then slowly she said “ Okay. But you need to ask them.” “ Ohh don’t worry. Ravi would surely agree.” Ravi’s Mom started to call him. Ravi was so frustrated when his mobile rang. He was shocked when he noticed it was just afternoon. He was working in his dark cabin on his film. He was creating new advertisements for his products. He always created them personally. His brand of soap was special to him. He always selected new models. He didn’t want established faces. Many times he managed to make them popular & they wanted his advertisements but he never gave. When his Mom called, he told his staff to stop. He felt so upset. He began to talk. His Mom said slowly “ Can I keep Hina here?” “ Mom Aprita is not coming home so soon. If she is still ready to stay let her stay.” His Mom immediately disconnected call & he took breath of relief. He started to look towards his work again. His Mom was so happy. She told what Ravi said to Hina. Hina smiled happily. Hina asked “ Where to stay Madam?” “ Stay in next room.” She nodded. She opened door of room. It was so nice. She felt so happy. Finally she got life which she wanted. She knew hostess of this house was not going to come so soon. She could freely wander in house. She kept looking towards cupboard. Slowly she opened. She was shocked when she saw that it had some clothes. Clearly they were clothes of hostess. She couldn’t wear them. But she smiled. She closed door. She got dressed. Then she found perfect dress which she wanted. She stood before mirror. Then she started to take her photos. She posted them on Internet. She was so happy. She kept looking towards those photos. They were looking so nice. She was so confident that she was looking nice owner of house. She typed without second thought under photo. “ New House.” At beginning no one responded then after sometime all started asking about her. They all assumed that she was planning to remarry. She was so happy with thought.
Hina’s daughter was not actually watching TV. She was small but she understood as child that her Mom Hina didn’t want her. She felt sitting before TV was best. She didn’t move when she sensed one lady opened door. She was shocked when one lady took her in arms with affection. Hina’s daughter smiled. In few seconds Hina’s daughter was taken away. Hina’s daughter never made any voice. Hina was whole time busy in getting dressed. Hina finally remembered about her daughter. She came out. She was confused when she found her daughter was missing. She wanted to cry but then she thought that she might be somewhere else playing. She really didn’t care. Sometimes she wished that her daughter would never appear before her. She decided to ignore. She wanted to forget about her daughter. She smiled when she sensed that her daughter was missing. She was so happy. Then suddenly she heard voice. She knew that it was her daughter. She was laughing loudly. She turned. She immediately recognised Arpita from photos. Arpita was looking exactly like those pictures. In fact she was looking more beautiful while playing with her daughter. No…not Arpita’s daughter it was Hina’s daughter. But Arpita was teaching Hina’s daughter to call her Mom. It was odd. But it was okay. Hina didn’t mind it. Hina didn’t have any affection towards her rapist husband’s daughter. Hina just smiled. Arpita “ She is so cute. Where is her Dad?” Now Hina shivered she didn’t want to answer this. Before she could say anything her daughter said in her small voice “ Jail..” Luckily she couldn’t talk further. She just learned few words. But “ Jail” was one of them. All kept talking about Hina’s husband before small daughter. Hina was so scared that she might say something but Arpita started laughing loudly. Arpita “ Don’t worry. Your Dad cheated me. But I am not planning to send him in jail. He is in office & soon he will come back. Now do you like your new Mom.” Hina’s daughter nodded. “What is her name?” Hina was so confused. Hina never took interest in keeping her name. Doctor just typed something on birth certificate. Hina tried to remember finally she did “ Disha.” Arpita smiled sweetly. Then Arpita took Disha in her arms. She went in her room & called Hina from there “ Bring milk & snacks for Disha. Also bring coffee & snacks for me.” Hina was so shocked. Now she supposed to cook for them all. Hina didn’t like her daughter Disha. She didn’t want to become servant. She decided that it was better to tell truth. “ Mom she is my daughter & he was her father but no use of lying. He is in jail. He raped someone. He was more demon than human. I can’t tell you how does I tolerated him..” “ I am not asking. But this is daughter of my husband so I want her.” “ No..no she is not daughter of your husband Madam. I was not even staying in this area when I got pregnant. I was staying in iarea near your mother-in-law use to stay. You know how far away it is.” Hina smiled & started to move towards Disha. But Arpita screamed loudly on her. “ Just stay away.” Then Arpita took one flowerpot & said “ If you come near my daughter I will kill you.” Ravi’s Mom heard noises. She tried to see whatever happening outside. She could. She sensed one thing that Arpita was screaming. Then suddenly Hina screamed “ Madam you will kill me.” Arpita started laughing. Arpita “ I will..,I will kill you. On Internet on social media everywhere! You have cheated me. You were with my husband whole time. You even had one baby..” Arpita hugged Disha with affection. But Disha was scared now. Disha began to try to jump towards Hina. Arpita gave her angry look. Hina began to feel so scared. Hina didn’t understand what she supposed to do. Arpita kept watching Disha. Then Arpita suddenly threw Disha on sofa. Disha cried in pain. Hina was so scared. Hina just managed to unpack her bags. Hina needed to leave. Suddenly Ravi’s Mom screamed “ What’s going on?” Without second thought Hina ran in Ravi’s Mom’s room. She didn’t took Disha. She didn’t care that much for Disha. She went inside & locked room. Disha was crying loudly but she didn’t want to open door. Ravi’s Mom took her mobile & called Ravi. Ravi was so frustrated by second call. He didn’t want to take it but he didn’t skip it since he didn’t want to ignore if it was medical emergency. His Mom started screaming “ Your wife is killing Hina’s daughter! Call someone. She had become mad killer.” Ravi was so confused. “ Mom this is not possible we are taking divorce she could stay there. We supposed..” “Stop it. Call someone otherwise she will kill baby.” “ She couldn’t kill baby…” then suddenly new voice came on mobile “ Sir please call Cops. She have my baby.” Now Ravi sensed that it was truth. He was so scared. He was shivering with fear. He didn’t understand where he supposed to call. Then his colleague asked “ What happened Sir?” He told all while stammering. Then they called Security. Security knew whom to call. They did it. Then Ravi called his lawyer & mental hospital too. Then Ravi ran towards house hoping Cops would reach first. When Ravi reached, there was large crowd around house. One Cop had baby remaining lady Cops were dragging Arpita. Arpita was no longer that lady whom he loved she looked like mad animal. He didn’t think about anything he just ran towards her. He said “ Why you are doing this? We can’t have child. It’s my fault. You can marry someone else.” She looked towards him angrily & said “ This is your baby.” Arpita tried to attack him. But Cops stopped. He looked towards her with shock. “ What’s wrong with you? You know very well I can’t become father.” She kept screaming “ You are lying.” Finally they dragged her away. Ambulance came & she was taken away. Cops asked “ You are not father of this child?” His lawyer spoke “ No..no he can’t become father. This is his estranged wife. They are on separation.” Then Hina came out running. She took Disha in arms. Cop “ Where is her father?” Hina started cry slowly. Lady Cop looked towards Ravi with suspicion. Ravi screamed loudly “ Who is her father?” Hina said slowly “ He is in jail. My husband raped someone…” Ravi was shocked. But he felt that she might wanted to hide in his house. He needed someone for his mother too. Ravi’s lawyer “ So you never met Mr. Ravi before..” “ No never! I just use to stay in house since my husband didn’t permit to go out. I use to go to Ravi’s Mom’s house before marriage.” Then Ravi showed them medical reports. Cops did inquiries in Hina’s area. Then they told Hina to stay in Ravi’s house. They told her that she must not go anywhere. Ravi felt so upset. Hina ran inside. Little Disha was still in Cop’s hand. Hina didn’t care for Disha. Ravi called Hina to take Disha. Hina took her when she sensed that she didn’t have option. It was sorry situation. One woman Arpita lost her mind since she couldn’t have child & Hina had child but she didn’t care. Ravi didn’t see any way to improve it. Ravi just went inside. Then he started to remove Arpita’s painting. He didn’t want her back in his life. He felt that he was cause of her all troubles & mental illness . He decided that he would manage his life alone better. Hina went in room & started crying since she knew that now her location would be exposed. Her truth would come out. She kept crying while Disha kept watching TV once again as Disha always did.
