Reshma was coming home to visit her parents after so many day.She was staying with her husband in Bangalore.Since her daughter was too small,she hardly managed to visit her parents.She was so excited about it. When she decided that this time she would enjoy each and every moment with her parents.As soon as she entered in house,she started planning everything. Her daughter was three years old now.She was jumping around house.Her mother was laughing and enjoying her grand daughter's dance.But suddenly when she turned towards one room. Reshma's Mother screamed "Uma don't go in that room."Reshma's mother screamed so loudly that Uma started crying and hugged Reshma. Reshma could clearly feel that her daughter was shivering in her arms. Reshma was so shocked by her Mother's behaviour that looked at her with anger. Reshma"Mom why did you scream on her like that she is just small child?I don't think that she was doing to break any valuable.""Reshma ,Uma can break anything in this house.I don't mind.But if she entered in your brother's room and even if touch his shirt.He will started screaming so loudly that it will move walls of this house."Now Reshma started laughing. Reshma knew her brother very well.He was so soft spoken and nice boy.She never remembered any day when he raised his voice unless it was essential. Reshma"Mom nice joke.I know my brother very well.He never do anything like this.He was always peaceful person.I know that he get agree some times.But not this way as you are describing."Reshma's Mom finally managed Uma to please with her charm so Uma was once again sitting in her laps and playing with her. Reshma's Mom gave her strange smile.Then she didn't say anything further but Reshma could feel it in her eyes. Reshma's Mom was hiding many things. Reshma was curious now.She decided to visit her brother's room which was actually her room before marriage.At that time her brother was used to sleep in hall so some of her clothes were still in that room.She thought that it was good excuse for this adventure.She smiled to herself and slowly went in that room.After all like a mother like a daughter was her motto.But she decided to use it vice versa.
When she entered in that room,she found that room was highly organized.She never saw her brother so much organized. In family they always considered her as better organized because her brother had bad habit of throwing thing every where.But this time his room was so perfect.Then she turned to right side their was mirror which was as spotless as room.She looked at her reflection.She never saw such a clean mirror.It looked as if her brother was cleaning it every day.Then she thought about his desk.There must be scattered books on it. After all her brother was book lover and always scatter them on desk.That was their common problem.Their Mom always used to scream on them regarding it.But today desk was clean and perfect.She even noticed a flower pot stood on it's side which had some nice flower which looked so nice and fresh.Now she was sure that they must be artificial after all her brother didn't change them every day.He was never so organized.But when she touched them.She knew that they were real.In fact there was water in flower pot to keep that flower fresh.That room looked like some room from a hotel.Not like a scattered room they used to share unwillingly since their childhood. It was perfect room even computer and keyboard were clean. Reshma was looking around the room when she heard a scream from behind "What are you doing in room?" Reshma was so scared after hearing that voice. She was just about to fall on chair.But her brother Pavan was standing there and he was holding chair with determination. Resham smiled and said "you scared me so much." Pavan gave her sweet smile. Pavan "Ohh this is you.Actually no one comes in my room without proper timing.""What timing?""I sent it all perfectly." Then he started searching for some thing in his room and finally brought one paper.He pushed it in Reshma's hand. Reshma was so confused that she just kept looking at him for some time. Pavan smiled"Don't worry. You can read it properly in your room."Reshma "My room."Now Reshma was confused.She remembered that this house had just two room and hall.There was one room in which her parents sleep but it was so small since it was made out of balcony.It was never much of room.But her parents were generous.They gave big room to their children and adjusted in small room so there was no extra room. Reshma"Which room?"Then theatrically he opened a curtain and Reshma was shocked. Pavan had created two small room out of one room.Then Pavan pointed."I kept toilet at your side so you can use it.I will use toilet which is in hall."He said it in such way as if he was some noble knight. Reshma just didn't understand that how did Uma could settle properly here.
As soon as Uma entered in that room, Reshma's fear turned out to be true.She started touching every thing. In fact she entered in the room,her first job was to throw away the curtain. Pavan was so angry by this. He started screaming and Uma started crying. Reshma could clearly saw that she could not adjust with Uma in that room.When her parents came inside,Reshma said nicely "It seems that Uma is having problem in adjusting in this room?""Having problem in adjusting.This is understatement.That girl is having some problem.She danced around whole room like some storm and started touching things. Uma was crying now.But when she heard that she was getting whole blame.She screamed in her small voice"I was just touching things.I don't broke anything."Pavan once again screamed"So I suppose to wait until she break my thing.This is too much.I can't tolerate this. I can't stay with her."Uma also started screaming as loudly as she could. Uma"I don't want stay with this Uncle."Reshma had never saw Uma so angry until now.She took her in arms and then took her out of that room. When she came outside, Reshma started telling that she should not scream on elder like this. Uma "But that Uncle is so bad.I will not stay with him."On that moment her parents came out and told her that she should shift in their room. Reshma thanked them from heart. She didn't know that how did she could have handled Uma in that room.Then suddenly she remembered face of her brother before her marriage.He was such peaceful and nice boy.This change was too much to absorb.She decided that she must talk with her Mom about it.But it was not okay to discuss such thing before Uma. Reshma didn't know that how could she talk when she noticed that her Mom was also coming in her room.Mom"I will also join you.Your dad will sleep on sofa today. Uma do you like to sleep with grandma?"Uma started jumping with joy. Uma had fall in love with her grandma on their first day of stay was good news.But Uma also started hating her Uncle from first day was bad news.

Uma looked Pavan with anger.But Pavan slowly came in with biggest gift.It was a beautiful doll. Pavan "I hope if I give it to some one will forgive me." Uma wanted to show her anger.But she couldn't able to control it when she saw doll.She came running to that doll.Slowly Pavan sat with her and within few seconds Pavan became her best friend. Uma"Uncle why did you got so angry on me in morning?You are nice Uncle.""Sweet heart that room is very important to me.You can't disturb any thing in it or bad thing will happen.""Like a temple."Uma asked seriously. Reshma was about to laugh when she saw that Pavan nodded and she turned and looked at her Mom with shock.Her Mom was looking at them with sorrow.It meant that Pavan was really treating his room like temple.It was so shocking for Reshma. She didn't understand that what did she suppose to say. Then Pavan took her out to play.Now Uma understood the rules.She was no longer interested in her Uncle's room. She was happy playing with him. Since she could even able to have one horse in form of her Uncle.It was happiest moment for her.As soon as Uma went out, Reshma started talking with her Mom "Mom some thing is totally wrong with Pavan. He is acting so strange.""I don't need you tell me this.I am tolerating him every day.That boy is turning into some strange person. Do you know how do he want everything? Just according to his schedule.There is one schedule stick behind his door.You must had seen it in room.""I hardly saw everything Mom.I had just entered in room and was looking around when he started screaming on me.He didn't want his things to be touched so strange. He was never that possessive about his things.I mean.I can understand if he didn't want Uma to break his things.But he even didn't let me touch them.""You know just peak of iceberg. He wanted his each shirt to be properly ironed.Once by mistake there was one wrinkle on his shirt.He began to scream loudly.I have to once again press that shirt.After that he checked his shirt twice before wearing it.He made his perfect schedule on which day he do which thing.Like on alternate sunday we go to cinema even if there was no interesting cinema still after 15 days he insisted on going. Once we received free tickets after watching one movie.We decided to go to it. But Pavan was totally against it.He created a big drama but any way we don't listen to him and went to film against his wish. But you can guess his attitude.""My god this is too much.Why don't you take him to Psychiatrist?Mom now a days many parents took their kids in Psychiatrist.""I tried to convince him.But he is against it.You know.This started since he received less marks in tenth.We all know that he wanted to become Doctor.But his marks were so low that he just managed to go B.S.C.He knew that his hopes of becoming Doctor are zero.He is not that intelligent.""Mom each person have it's own brain. Reshma tired to help her Mom but Pavan hated any change even in dinner served to him.Finally one day Reshma talked with her father about it. Reshma"Something is wrong with Pavan..""Come on nothing is wrong with him.He just want to pass examination so he is tense.""But Dad I think some thing totally wrong with his mental...""I am telling you that he is fine."Her father said it with such anger that Reshma just had to keep quiet.Then their worst fear turned into true. Pavan failed in that exam.Then when he returned.He was in worst condition.His friends literally fetched him to home.He was just walking when he was forced.Then he just kept looking in far away place. Reshma tried to do many things to get his attention but he didn't responded. Finally she told Uma to destroy things in his room. At first Uma didn't seem willing but when they told her that she supposed to do it for her Uncle.She threw many things.She messed in whole room.Finally she even jumped on his bed but still he didn't responded.Finally Uma started crying and Reshma took her out of room.When her father came home,they told him each and everything.He even tried to get response from Pavan. But it proved useless. Finally Reshma spoke"Dad this is enough.I am taking his to psychiatrist tomorrow.""You can't take him like that.He will be fine.""No.He is not.He is not fine since many days and I am taking him to Doctor."Mom"I am going with her."Reshma's father was angry but since he didn't see any option so he left the room. Then Reshma called their family Doctor who told them to bring Pavan immediately and then he checked him.Finally he suggested psychiatrist.That day Pavan hardly eat any food.Next day Reshma took Pavan to psychiatrist with her Mom after seeing that Pavan's condition was not improving.When they took him,Psychiatrist checked him.Psychiatrist "Such thing happens when person obsessed with some thing. Pavan was obsessed with becoming Doctor when he got less marks in tenth. First time he felt that even after hard work he can't get it then he started showing compulsive behaviour. He decided his schedule and started acting according to it.He felt that if he acted this way everything would be perfect in his future.But when he failed. All his dreams were shattered.Until now he thought that if he acted according to schedule all evil in his life go away and he would pass exams.Since it didn't happen he was suffering from depression.He was not eating due to it.He was in catatonic stag.He is not moving or doing anything"Reshma "What shall we suppose to do now?""You should have brought him earlier.Any way now you have to hospitalized him.""Hospitalized?!!My father will not permit.""You have to do it.You don't have any option.You can take him home now if you wish.I can't force you but after some days you have to do same thing."That day Reshma was not fully convinced so she took him back to home. She didn't like idea of her brother who was perfect before few hours. She thought that there must some other way to cure her brother. Suddenly she felt convinced that her father was right and she was wrong so she took him back.Her father boosted that time for his intelligent and their stupidity.But finally every one suggested same thing and they had to admit Pavan to hospital. It was worst day for them. After all admitting a relative to mental hospital was never easy. They all were tense until finally Pavan showed signs of improvement.
