Finding new flat
Seema began to move around this house. She was watching it carefully. Her brother was planning to buy flat. He called her in morning and told her that she must check it. Her brother was in such good mood. She rarely saw him in such good mood. There must be some good news. But her brother didn't tell her anything. He just said in voice of full of joy " I am planning to buy house will you go and check it?" She didn't like that idea that much. She didn't want to check out houses for him. She didn't want to see those new houses. They started to give temptation to her. She kept moving around those houses. She began to sensing that she needed to buy new house. She looked around her house. It was not that good. She needed new house. But she knew that her budget would never permit it. She kept thinking about her budget. She began to think that she required to create budget. She needed to earn more money. She kept thinking that she was poor. She couldn't buy luxurious house like that house. She didn't want to enter in new house again. Last time she went in one with her friend. She was so tempted. But when her brother insisted, she sensed that she couldn't deny to him. She agreed so now she was observing that flat carefully. She liked it so much. She knew that it was wonderful. She kept looking at it's different rooms. She kept observing those walls. She knew that it was not possible to have that flat. But still she kept observing it. She kept dreaming her each family member inside. Suddenly she sensed someone was behind. She immediately turned. She looked around then she sensed no one was there. She laughed to herself. She was standing alone in empty flat. She knew no one was inside flat. She looked out of it's window. She saw grave yard. She shivered. She was so scared. She didn't understand how could her brother purchase flat in which he could see grave yard. It was shocking. She shivered with fear. She thought that it was possible that estate agent managed to hide it from her brother. She immediately called her brother. Seema " Suresh Dada do you know from window of this flat we can see grave yard?!!" " What?!! I don't know I just told you to see it since it was cheap. I don't want it. Just go back home." She was clearly happy by this suggestion. She turned around and started to go home when she sensed someone was calling her from behind. She looked behind. It was an old man with long white hair and white beard. He looked like someone out of ancient times. He smiled and said " Do you want this house?" She just remained stuck on that spot. She couldn't move. She was so confused. This man smiled towards her. He pointed towards grave yard and said " I stay there. I own this one too but I want to sell it soon. My son is dying. I need to give him treatment. I need to save him. Just purchase it." She shivered with fear. This man was pointing grave yard and telling he was staying there. She was so scared. She stammered " I don't want it." That man looked upset and sad. " But you came to purchase it please buy it!!" She shivered. She started to drag her feet. Finally she dragged them. She ran towards door. She was so sure that it would be locked just like in horror movies. But that was not truth. It was open. She ran out of flat as fast as possible. She was so scared. She turned behind. She shivered. She kept looking at door. She knew that man would come out. But he didn't. She pressed button of lift. She kept waiting for it. She was so scared. She shivered. She kept waiting for lift. Finally lift came. She opened lift door as fast as possible. She went inside and when she closed door, she shivered with fear. Then she noticed that old man was coming out. She immediately pressed button to go down. That man was trying to point out to stop lift. But she kept pressing the button. Finally lift started. She took breath of relief. She slowly went down. She reached ground floor. She went out of lift. She ran towards car. She sat in it and drive away as fast as possible. She was shivering when she was driving. She always loved driving but this time she was so upset. She took wrong turn. She almost dumped in one Auto. Auto driver screamed " Idiot don't you know how to drive? You could have killed someone!!" She looked out. She was trying hard to catch breath. Auto driver came out angrily. Auto driver looked at her. Then he changed his attitude. He kept that she was case of some physical emergency. He started asking " What happened Madam?" Soon passengers came out of Auto too. One man " My God she is having heart attack." Then another woman joined them. Soon crowd gathered. Then suddenly Cop appeared. He told crowd to move away. He called his Police car. He didn't have much option so he carried her in car himself. Then they drove her in hospital. Entire time she was trying to take breath properly but it was not happening. She shivered with fear. Finally she reached in hospital. Doctor immediately took her inside. They gave her oxygen mask. It helped her a lot. She began to feel so nice. Suddenly her world became normal. Doctor smiled and said " Just relax. You will be fine soon." She wanted to laugh at this joke. She was breathless in oxygen mask and Doctor was suggesting that she would be fine soon! But she knew that she needed to control her emotions. She nodded. Doctor " I give you injection. With it you will go to sleep." She nodded. Then she started to point towards her purse. She wanted to call her family. She began to point towards her ID and mobile. Nurse looked confused. Nurse thought that she was tense regarding items of purse. Nurse smiled sweetly and said " Don't worry. We will keep it in safe." She wanted to scream. But she couldn't. She kept pointing towards purse. She was getting excited. Doctor clearly didn't like it so he immediately made injection ready. Doctor " She is getting too excited. Take proper care of that purse. It must have something important." Nurse nodded and took it away. She was watching it all. But soon she sensed pain. Doctor injected her. Slowly her eyes became heavy. She began to go to sleep. She slept peacefully on that bed. She went in strange kind of dream world.
Police was so confused. He didn't find any identity of this lady. He asked people around there but no one knew her. Then he remembered her purse. He felt so relieved. He ran to Nurse and asked about it. Nurse looked so relieved. Nurse " That lady was asking again and again about purse even behind oxygen mask. She was pointing it again and again." Police looked confused. Police " Stood here as witness when I open it." Nurse clearly looked upset. She didn't want to become part of this procedure but she didn't have much option so she stood there. Then Police opened Purse. Nothing was so interesting in it except little bit money. Then Police took out mobile. Police " Maybe she wanted you to call her family?" Nurse looked happy. Nurse was so confused. But soon she started to get upset again. Nurse " What if someone stolen it during her journey from that road to hospital?!!" Police spoke angrily " Cop took her in Police car and Cops don't steal things of victims!!" Nurse started to get nervous now. Police was getting aggressive. Nurse " I am not blaming you. But before cop came on scene, she must on road." " Yes but her purse was in car. Cop took it since she had hold on it's belt and it was hard to remove it from her hand." Nurse nodded. Nurse " But she didn't have any thing special in it then why was she holding it like that?!!" Cop looked confused now. Cop " Let's search in her contacts. Her relatives surely what she was carrying with her." Nurse nodded. Cop called number from contact list. "Hello.." there were many sounds in background. It was clear that this person was too busy and he was irritated by call. Cop waited in hope that this person would take name lady. But this fellow just kept saying " Hello" Cop " Who are you? Do you know this lady?" That person got irritated. " I must have known her since I assumed you have called back!! Now come to point. I don't have entire day waste on you." Cop " Really?!! But I can spend a way with you in police station!! In fact I can reserve one lock up just for you. Give your name!" Suddenly voice sounded alert and scared. " Actually I am estate agent. So it could be any one." " You don't have details of clients!!" " I have but this isn't my direct client. It could be his or her relative. You know very well how easily people pass mobile number." Then Cop checked call details. " She called you one hour ago." Estate agent got confused. Estate agent " I just don't remember!! People keep calling and we keep answering them. Sometimes we just lost track of our time." Cop was not happy with this answer. He kept arguing. " You should have some details!!" " I will keep from next time. But today I don't have any details." Cop was so upset but he didn't have much option so he disconnected call. Then immediately mobile rang. Cop and Nurse both jumped with joy. They hoped that it should be her husband or her other close relative. But when person from opposite side called they received shock of lifetime. It was little boy. " Mom when you are coming to pick me up? I am in principal's office. Every one is angry on you. They are also get angry on me." That little boy started crying. It was clear that school felt his Mom was acting careless and forgotten to pick up her child when she was in hospital and no one knew her name. Cop took deep breath and said " You are good boy so no one will get angry on you. Will you give mobile to your teacher?" " But who are you?" Now Cop didn't want to tell truth to that little boy. He said sweetly " I am friend of yours Mom. Will you give this mobile to your principal?" That boy sounded angry. " You are lying. My Mom didn't have any friends who are men. My Dad doesn't like it. Even my grandmother get angry. Mom just keep friends who are girls so you are not Mom's friend. You are liar." Cop clearly shocked by this. Cop sensed that atmosphere of accident victim's house was not normal. Cop turned to Nurse. Cop " Actually I am not friend of your Mom. I am her brother. She is chatting with your Mom so I called." That boy sounded relaxed now. Then he passed mobile to another lady. " Hello where is Rajat's Mom?!! How could she act in such careless way?" Cop " Actually she is not careless. I am Police and she is in hospital due to medical emergency. She had attack while driving. So people on road called Cops and she is admitted to hospital." That woman was so shocked. She didn't say anything for few moments. Then she said apologetic voice" My God!! May God bless her. We assume it all wrong." " It's alright. Will you give me number of her husband?" Principal looked confused. It became clear no one wanted to contact husband. Cop was not shocked. That little boy explained little bit of his father's nature. Principal " Actually we can give you number of her brother. Truthfully I personally don't like her husband that much. He get angry quickly. Mostly her brother handle crisis for her." Cop agreed. He just wanted number of relative. Then Principal gave him number of Suresh. When he called Suresh, he sounded upset. Suresh " I don't understand how could this happen? Few days ago she did check up!! Our family Doctor said she was fine." Cop " Such thing happen in few minutes." Suresh " Just give me name of hospital. I will come there. " Cop gave him name of office. Before disconnecting mobile Cop asked " Did you know any estate agent?" " Yes. Actually I am planning to purchase flat and my sister went to check it out. I thought she fainted there." " No..no it happened while driving. Do you want me to repeat incidence." " No..no my mind is so blank and confused. I am coming." Cop " Okay I will wait." Suresh " Thanks." When Cop disconnected call, Nurse asked " Why didn't you ask about Purse?" Cop " I don't think that Purse is so important. This lady have many issues in family. Purse was her least concern. But anyway I keep it with me and give it to her brother." Nurse " But how did you recognise her brother?" " By searching her details in BMC. Police know how to do it. Just relax." Nurse didn't look convinced but she nodded and went away. Cop started waiting for Suresh.
Suresh was so upset by this new drama. Seema always had some trouble since her marriage her life never went in straight line. And he always needed to interfere in something regarding. It was so strange. He never needed to feel so concerned even about his own family as he needed to remain alert just regarding his sister. He was so upset. He needed his own life but he never got it. It was always about his sister and her husband. Seema married to Rajiv who was worst man. Raja always kept harassing her. He still remembered first time when his sister came home with her swollen cheek. She told him Raja hit her. He was so angry. He told her to stay with him. She nodded. She even stayed with him for few days. His wife was also cooperating but still Seema started to feel upset. One day she came to him. Seema " I need clothes but I feel that even asking them is wrong in this house." Suresh asked angrily " Who said that?" " No one directly but I can see it in their eyes." He didn't want to agree with her. But he knew that his wife and his kids were starting to get upset. Seema was occupying one room. She was doing nothing except sitting in that room entire day. His wife was not happy about it. His wife wanted her to help little bit occasionally. His wife didn't demand big things like cooking dinner or cleaning house. His wife just wanted her to go to school and pick up kids or sometimes take them in garden. She wanted Seema to become friendly Aunt. But it was not happening. Seema kept to herself entire time. She didn't come out of room. She kept crying. Due to her entire atmosphere of house got damaged. Kids began asking what happened. His daughter even started to have nightmares.So he couldn't say no to it. Suresh " It is not regarding your staying here. It is about the way you keep yourself locked in room. You must come out and talk with people!! You must act normal." She looked hurt. " I can't face people and tell that my husband left me." " Your husband didn't left you but you left him." " But no one will believe me. He wrote it on Facebook and everywhere that he left me because I was cheating him!!.." " Then we must file divorce case!!" " Listen to me!! Next day he wrote it was joke. I went on vacation since I am sick!! And everybody laughed. Some even showed anger but trust me everyone believed that I have cheated him." " Why did you feel so concerned about people?!! Just ignore them and tell me what did you want?" " Nothing. I just want to be happy." Then after somedays Raja came with big gift. It was big diamond necklace. Raja was not rich man but he must had borrowed it from someone for that occasion. But due to it entire house turned towards his side except Suresh. When Suresh tried to oppose it, his wife took him in corner. His wife " I know you don't like Raja. But can't you see Seema need him." " Do you want to get rid of my sister? Why else you want to send her in that hell?!!" His wife looked so angry. " Fine do as you wish. But finally Seema will go away with him." Suresh didn't listen to his wife. He objected but it proved useless. Seema cried and said " Suresh Dada he is love of my life. I can't stay away from him." Then she went in his arms. Suresh looked like villain in entire issue and Suresh sensed his wife was right. She needed him. Now he knew that there would be another drama. Now they had son. Suresh sensed that their son was also learning wrong things from father. Seema was not permitted to talk with any man. That's why Suresh just told agent to keep keys of flat with watchman. He didn't want angent to be seen with her. He felt so upset when he heard all. He went in Boss's cabin told everything to his Boss. Boss " I don't understand why did your sister keep staying with that man?"" I don't know sir!! Maybe she hated staying with us?" "Then give her independent flat?!!" " But now she even have son!!" His Boss looked upset. Boss "My God!! Why did she plan child?!!" " Well she didn't took my advice on such matters." " She didn't took your advice on any matter. She just burden you with her troubles. And you must handle her now otherwise every day you will keep running around for her. I can predict worst future for you. Your kids will hate you if you spend time on your sister instead of them. " Suresh nodded. Suresh " I will try to find solution today." Boss " Go and come early tomorrow. You need to complete work or you can do it on laptop in hospital and send me." " I will do it on laptop and send." " Great." Then Suresh ran in hospital. When he reached in hospital, he ran inside. He asked about patient brought by cop. He was immediately shown way. Cop was already waiting for him. Cop " Where were you? I was waiting for such a long time!! And I forgot to tell you that you must pick your nephew from school too?" Suresh was very angry now. Suresh " I don't understand how much I suppose to do for Seema." Cop asked " What happened?" Suresh was so frustrated. He told all to cop without thinking about it's results. He was so overburdened. Cop " But why didn't you file Police complaint?" " She was not ready." Cop gave frustrating look. Cop " You must needed to get rid of this matter otherwise it will destroy your life too." Suresh was so upset at least two people advised same thing to him today. Then Doctor came out. Doctor "Are you relative of patient?" " Yes I am her brother." " Well she is physically okay now. But her blood pressure is increased due to tension. Did she have family problems?" Suresh was so frustrated. He didn't want to hide anything. He told everything. Then Doctor asked " Why you are standing here alone? Call her husband. He must take responsibility." Suresh suddenly sensed his mistake. He must call Raja. If Seema loved him so much he should be here not Suresh. Doctor " And gave his number to school too. He is father of that boy not you." Suresh smiled. He immediately called Raja and told him all. Raja said " I am too busy." " I am not free. I am giving you number to school. I am going away. If you don't come this Doctor will call Cop bye." Suresh disconnected mobile. Doctor saw that Cop was still there he immediately called him back. Suresh called school and gave Raja's number. Principal sounded upset. Principal " I will suspend this boy." Suresh screamed " Do as you wish?" Then he switched off mobile. He turned to Cop. Cop " It's okay you may leave. Now I have number of her husband." Cop smiled pointedly. Then Suresh went away.
Raja was so upset now. Seema was so irritating but he never needed to interfere. Suresh was use to take care of all. Seema always started to create some drama then he get angry but Suresh managed all. But today he called for first time. He didn't like it. Then his mobile rang again. It was from his son's school. Principal was very angry. She told him all. Principal " Entire school is gone. What did we suppose to do with your son?" He was so angry. He understood one thing that he needed to teach lesson to Suresh. He knew that Seema was source of it. He needed to teach her manners too. Raja " Madam my wife supposed to take care of him? But she is sick.." " Are you in hospital with her?" " Yes I am." Principal " Which hospital?" He gave name of hospital and took breath of relief since Principal's voice became soft. She started to speak in normal tone "Okay we will forgive this time. I will drop him." Raja was happy. He thought that she would drop his son in school. Raja took deep breath and pretended a sad voice and said " Thanks." Then he smiled and sat relaxing. He was going in hospital but not in hurry. While Raja was relaxing, Principal took their son in hospital. Principal was doubtful about entire issue. She entered in hospital and made inquiries. After chatting for sometime Nurse understood who she was. Nurse "Ohh this is son of that lady?!! Poor woman. Her husband is not ready to come. Her brother did payment of hospital and finally after calling her husband he left. Cop is waiting for her husband. I saw her. It happened because she was scared." " But what happened?" " We don't know what was cause of fear today. But her husband is major trouble." Nurse was so upset that she totally forgot Seema's son was listening all. Nurse " She was beaten daily. It is clear by marks." Seema's son " Dad hit Mom since she talk with men." That little boy was talking in such way as if it was most reasonable thing. Principal " Which man?" " Men!! Every man!! She must not talk with shopkeeper, milkman, watchman.. anybody." Both women were shocked. This little boy's mind was already poisoned beyond repair. Principal " But when woman do their work they need to talk with man!!" " But my Mom must not. If she did then she must be punished." Principal was so shocked by his determination that she began to plan that next year she wouldn't keep him in school. Then suddenly Cop appeared. Cop " Are you related to Seema?"" No..no. I am just Principal of this child's school. In fact I am planning to discontinue this kid after this incidence." Little boy started to cry. Seema's son " I just said what Dad said." Cop felt sad. He took him in arms and asked Principal " What happened?" She told everything. Principal " Now tell me how could I keep this kid? His parents were not good people." Cop " His father is wrong person but his mother is nice lady!!" " But she never disobey her husband. She is scared of him. In fact now this kid is following his father's footsteps." Cop " Then we must.." Suddenly Cop saw Raja coming towards him. He recognised him by his picture on database of Identity Card. Cop gave him angry look. But Raja gave smile of gentle man. He gave such a smile that no one could guess he was wife beater but Cop had seen many like him. When Cop started questioning, he began to shiver. Then Doctor came and told Seema was awake. Cop went inside and started talking with her. But she was telling senseless story. Seema began to tell about ghost in flat. She told how did that ghost tried to kill her. Raja started laughing. Raja " She kept talking same way so just to control her I hit her sometimes." Nurse " Or maybe due to your hitting she started talking this way?" Raja stopped laughing. Doctor " I feel Nurse is right. Seema didn't saw ghost. She was on verge of nervous breakdown. What did happen before it?" Seema said nothing just shivered while looking at Raja. Raja answered " I don't have any argument with her today!! Believe me!!" But Seema shivered. Cop " Come on tell us all. You don't need to hide." Seema didn't say anything. She started looking around. " Where is Suresh Dada?" Raja laughed. Everyone in room looked at him in anger. They all knew that Suresh wanted to just get rid of Raja so he went away. After all he had no option. Finally he needed to cut line. But Seema immediately started to cry like little child. She began to say " I want Suresh Dada." After seeing this Raja shivered with fear. Cop and Doctor looked at him with anger. He said " It was happening because of you." Raja started to look away. His son came running towards him. He took him and then he suddenly pretended as if he remembered something. Raja " I must go to my Mom. She needed her medicine." Cop looked at him with anger. He ran away. Cop couldn't stop him forcibly. Then after sometime Suresh returned. Seema asked him for forgiveness. Then slowly Doctor convinced her that she was having anxiety attack. She shivered with fear. Seema " It was not ghost?!!" Doctor " No I feel he was needy human being then I have acted in wrong way with him." Cop immediately said " Good bye." Suresh took deep breath and said " We must start psychiatrist's treatment." Seema " What about Raja?" " Did you see him here?" She turned her head in negative way. Suresh " Then listen to me. You are coming home with me." Seema's son screamed " No I want Daddy." Suresh " You can stay with him whenever you want. But Mom will stay with me." Seema's son screamed " She will not. She is Dad's wife. She belonged to him. You can't stop him from taking her." Suresh was so angry " I can I am her brother!!" That boy began to curse Suresh. Doctor and Nurse were shocked. Finally he took mobile from Seema and called Raja. Raja was not gone far away. He came back immediately. His son told all to him. " Mom belonged to you am I wrong?" Truthfully now Raja was too scared. He didn't want responsibility of Seema. He said " He could take her." His son looked so angry. He didn't have option since even Raja was not ready to fight. He said "Then I will go with you." Raja nodded. Before going he said in low voice " I will send paper of divorce on mutual consent." Suresh nodded. Then Raja went away. Seema just sat like statue.
Seema was no longer normal after that. She kept talking about that ghost in house. Suresh knew very well that it was not existed. She returned back home. This time she was working like robot. After sometime they started visits to psychiatrist. She was diagnosed with depression. Psychiatrist said that she was not hallucinating. That man must be owner of flat. She was so upset that she wanted to escape from her fear so she created this story to divert her attention. Seema couldn't believe it. But slowly she started to get normal. This time she truly became loving Aunt for kids. Suresh's wife was happy about it. Then slowly divorce procedure started. She couldn't manage to get custody of their son. He was small but Raja told about her mental trouble. Even their son wanted to stay with his father so she gave up. Then she lost everything in divorce regarding whatever family created. She didn't demand alimony since she didn't want anything from Raja. She started staying with Suresh like his sister who never married. She adjusted in that house. Then slowly she got normal enough to stop treatment. One day she asked her brother about that flat. Suresh " Why?" " I am planning to buy it." Suresh looked shocked. Suresh "How?" Seema " Raja will buy it for me. It is cheaper so he could afford." Suresh " What? Who told you that?" " Raja called me personally. " Suresh asked " Why?" Seema took deep breath. Then she said " That day before visiting flat I found love letters of Raja to his Boss's wife. I got angry. I tried to complain but he treated me worst way. Then when he felt that I am scared enough he threw me away. You called so I forced myself to go to flat. I wanted flat. But Raja never purchased it. On that day I had that attack on road Doctor checked me. Doctor saw all so he got scared of Cop and Doctor. Now his Boss died due to heart attack. Who knows what is truth. But I can't prove anything. In morning he called and offered money since he didn't want any trouble for second marriage. That flat owner needed money to save his son. I will buy it and save his son." Suresh "But you can't live there alone." Seema gave sweet smile and said " Suresh Dada you must go out of your elder brother's role. I need to learn to live alone now." Suresh smiled out of tears and nodded. He called owner of that flat. He knew that he didn't have much option. Seema needed to stay alone. But she was so happy. She was planning everything with smile so he decided it was worth risk. He began to plan meeting with flat owner.
