Hate of family
Archana was searching for job. Any type of job was okay for her. She was so desperate when her Auntie called her. Actually Auntie was not related to her. She was just her old neighbour. Auntie slowly told her on mobile “ My health is no longer good & you know what is my condition! I stay in hut with my daughter & she hated me. At beginning I use to like her but now I hate her too. So I don’t plan to provide any help for her. So I want you to do this job for me.” “ What job?” “ Well there is one job of cooking. You just need to do all they want. Never question them. They are little bit odd but they pay good.” Archana looked towards her son & daughter. Her husband was not earning enough. If they kept earning less like this soon kids couldn’t go to school. She needed to make payment of their school fees. She couldn’t afford tuition. But she at least needed fees of school. She wanted a job. “ I will do that job.” “ Then come with me tomorrow.” She agreed happily. That day when her husband came home she first served him dinner then she slowly began to tell about job. Her husband didn’t say anything for long time. She was so scared that he might object. But then he told her to bring his bottle of alcohol & glass. She hated to do all this but she always did it. Her father used to drink & her husband was doing same thing. She knew that her father didn’t spare as money for education of his children & she was scared that her husband might do same thing. But when her husband started drinking he said slowly “ You can do job but who will take care of kids. Don’t ask my parents to do it! I am not ready to burden my parents. It is your responsibility to take care of children.” She knew that she needed to manage all about kids. She said slowly “ Don’t worry my Mom will do it.” He nodded. Then he went to sleep. She needed to do all household chores he was not expected to help her. She knew that this rule would remain even if she decided to do job. Her Mom was against it. Her Mom kept telling her “ If you do job who will pay attention to your house.” “ Mom many women do jobs.” “ Yes. But they are rich who could keep woman like us to take care of children.” “ Mom try to understand. I need this job. You can act like mother to children during my absence but you can’t work instead of me.” Her Mom looked towards her with painful expressions. Her Mom worked so hard in their house entire time but she didn’t get any respect. Her Mom wanted education for her but her Dad didn’t give money. At beginning she got free education. But then slowly her Dad began to scream on her for going in school. Her Dad began to discourage her. Her Dad didn’t want to spend any rupee on her education. He didn’t want to purchase books, notebooks, pen… she was not alone. She was third daughter after her they had one son & before her one daughter & son. They had house full of people. She didn’t get education just for herself. They needed to educate all kids so they decided to just forget education. Soon her Dad began to send her to houses for small jobs. She was good in helping in house chores. She started visiting flats & working for those people. Many of them asked about her education. She kept lying that she was going to school after her work. No one was going to check. On that point she didn’t want to go to school. But now she wanted her children to get education. It was important for her. Her Mom was living alone in hut now. Once they used to live in flat but then slowly her brothers managed to destroy all their financial status. Finally her Mom needed to shift in hut alone. Her brothers were living in two different huts. Her Mom avoided visiting her sons. Luckily since her Mom didn’t earn. Her brothers didn’t visit her Mom. They had habit of alcohol. They kept demanding money but whenever they planned to visit Mom. Mom could demand money from them. So they avoided her. Her Mom looked towards Archana with confused expression. “ I tell you one thing. You will work & your husband will waste money.” “ Mom! Let me try.” Her Mom knew she needed to try so her Mom nodded. So next day Archana decided to visit this flat with Auntie for job. When they entered in Elevator, Archana was so happy. Clearly that house was nice one. She didn’t want to work in small house. She had dream of big house from childhood. She wanted to fulfil it this way. She loved when she saw she might work in some big house which would give her good chances of earning money. Sometimes she just wished only if she could forget her entire family & started living as permanent servant but she knew that it was not possible. She had responsibility of two kids. It was her biggest mistake. She didn’t sense when she planned to get married she was inviting troubles in her life. She was happy with situation in her life. She was feeling so stressed by every thought which managed to hurt her mind. But she couldn’t stop them. Finally she came near that flat. Auntie pointed it. She was so shocked. It’s door was looking so beautiful. It seemed as if someone created beautiful art of wood on entire door. Auntie answered her without asking “ Daughter-in-law of this house do wonderful art on wood. She carved everything in house.” “ Really! Then house must be..” “ It’s so beautiful that your eyes couldn’t stop looking at those word of art but you must not do that. You needed to pay more attention to what you want to do & that is your job. You must work whole time without looking around with total dedication. You must not forget your duty.” She nodded. Auntie rang door bell. Then slowly door was opened. It had heavy decorations. It looked so nice. Archana slowly entered in house. She couldn’t stop herself from looking around. Immediately woman who opened door screamed “ Why did you brought this lady with you?” Archana felt so nervous. Entire house was in total darkness still she could sense that there was beautiful carving in it. She gave nervous smile. She could see face of owner of house or her possible future employer but she liked house so she wanted to work. Archana said slowly “ I want to work instead of Auntie. I am not expert but if you instruct I will learn.” That lady said “ No one have time to teach you.” Auntie immediately intervened “ Don’t worry. I am here to just teach her. You can give her salary. I will just help her.” “ No.. we don’t want you to keep apprentice.” Now they didn’t understood what that lady was telling. But Auntie said “ Just give me a week.” “ Okay.” Then that lady vanished.
Within a week Archana learnt all from Auntie. Now she was cooking in kitchen in that odd house. Entire house was dark except kitchen. She needed lights & she insisted on them. She didn’t understand how could that house remained so dark during daytime. They created totally different interior. In normal interior they used all to bring light in house. But in this house they were very careful about keeping everything dark. She wanted to open windows but she was too scared. Her employer didn’t like any change. She carefully kept cooking. Then one day while she was cooking, she suddenly sensed that someone was watching her. She turned behind. She saw a little girl standing. She smiled but that little girl didn’t. She slowly began to go towards her when her Employer came & asked “ Have you finished cooking?” Archana looked towards kitchen counter & said “ Madam all is on proper of getting boiled.” Her Employer smiled & said “ Then you can relax.” Archana smiled & went towards that girl. But that girl gave so angry look that she kept standing on her place. It seemed as if she was stuck there. Something was wrong with this place. She didn’t like it. She came back to kitchen counter & started cooking. That day when she returned home, she felt so negative. She wanted to destroy all. She didn’t feel positive in her heart. She couldn’t stop herself from breaking one cup of glass. When that cup shattered into pieces she felt so happy! She wanted her family to come. She had dislike towards her husband but she loved her children. She never wished evil for them. But that day she sensed strange desire to kill them all. When her Mom dropped kids they started playing making noises. She wanted to hit them. She kept controlling her anger. She felt so upset on each step. She didn’t understand what was happening. She concentrated on her cooking. Then she served food. Her husband returned home early. He was observing his wife. Something was wrong. He could see that she was behaving in wrong way. Her every moment was so scary. He kept observing she was making gestures with her hands. It seemed as if she wanted to hit someone. It was so stressful. She didn’t feel positive about anything. At beginning Archana didn’t sense it. Then slowly Archana started to feel that her husband was observing her. She could sense fear in his eyes. She didn’t dislike it. She enjoyed it. She wanted to sense more of it. She began to feel more confident about it. She came near her husband & asked him “ When you stop drinking & do something useful?” He was scared but not so scared. He immediately slapped her. But she didn’t cry. She began to laugh in strange way. It was so shocking. Kids began to cry. Her husband was confused now. He didn’t understand how could he control Archana. It was so sudden. She was so nice but now after getting that job. Then he smiled. “ Ohh so you got this ego since you earn! I will teach you a lesson.” He was about to slap when she threw one pan towards him. He screamed in pain. She began to laugh more loudly. Then she said “ You can’t control me now. I got my freedom. I can do whatever I like.” She went in corner & started to get dressed. She got dressed up beautifully & said “ Today I will go to hotel instead of you.” Then she took out money from his pocket. But he took hold of her hand. He said “ You can’t take my money like this.” She smiled. Then she began to dance in house. She started dancing as if she was dancing in some dance floor of hotel. Her husband was as usual drinking so she was more excited. Soon their house began to seem like some night club or dance bar. It was small but still she managed to change atmosphere. He never knew that her voice was nice. He heard her singing few times but never so sweetly. Slowly neighbours started to look in their house. Her voice was truly pleasant & tempting. Archana was never such beautiful singer. Her husband tried to control her but nothing was working. Slowly people began to talk. Clearly no one was happy. She was dancing in wrong way. She was gathering crowd. Some people got so excited that even started to throw money. She was laughing & encouraging. She kept doing it until finally she didn’t fainted & fall on ground. When she fall down, some women came to help. They began to ask her husband. “ What happened?” Another elderly man “ Since when your wife started to dance like that?” “ Never.” Kids started to cry to. Archana”s husband managed to call her mother. Her mother came inside. Mom was shocked when they told all. Mom “ She never able to sing nicely or dance!” Then one lady asked slowly “ Did you went in some wrong place?” “ Wrong place?” “ Some place where they do witchcraft black magic! She seemed like some one possessed.” Suddenly Archana’s mother shivered “ She took one new job.” Her husband nodded. “ Those people are odd. They don’t permit light in house & she was told to never touch anything without permission.” That woman gave a look which convinced them all that she was possessed. On that point they began to talk how could they contact some exorcist to help. Their discussion were going on in strong way. One thing was decided that she would never work in that place. When Archana woke up they told her all. But Archana was confused. Archana “ That house was odd but nothing was scary in it..” her husband screamed on her & said “ You are not going there & if you go never come back.” Archana nodded. They all thought that everything would be fine. But soon they sensed it was not. In midnight they started to hear strange voices. They turned towards Archana. She was talking loudly in sleep. She was acting like some monster. Her husband shivered. He screamed “ I had enough.” He just pulled Archana by hand & threw her out. Archana was so confused. She tried to come back but all told her to go away. Soon some dogs started to barking on her. Neighbours were showing signals that she was not wanted there. She didn’t understand where she could go. She remembered Auntie. She called Auntie. Auntie was shocked to hear this. Auntie “,There isn’t any ghost there. You saw that small girl. She have some sickness due to which they don’t permit sun inside. It made bad impact on family.” “ But where should I go?” She started crying. Auntie said slowly “ One day that lady was asking me to stay there permanently. But I don’t like that house it is so gloomy & sad so I said no. Do you want to try?” “ You know my issue!” Auntie didn’t say anything. She knew that Auntie had issues of house too. Auntie didn’t have own hut. She just said “ Thanks.” & disconnected call.
Archana kept walking on lonely road.She couldn’t believe what happened with her. She was just thrown out of her house. She didn’t understand what she supposed to do. She suddenly remembered her one friend who was constable in Police. She called her. That friend immediately agreed to come. She went in Police station with her friend. She didn’t complain against her family but she said clearly to her friend “ I don’t want to go back.” “ It’s alright. I tell you frankly first you need to handle your mental issue. It is important. I will take you to Psychiatrist.” Archana went to Psychiatrist on that time her mobile rang. Her Employer was calling. She said “ My daughter saw you once she like you. I want you to stay with her.” “ But..” “ I know your issue. I have my mental issues too. I will take you to my psychiatrist just come to stay with me.” Archana agreed. Her friend dropped Archana in that dark house. Archana entered in room of that small girl for first time. She was so shocked. They created beautiful decorations. It seemed as if entire galaxy was created in that room. She could see efforts of parents in that room. Her father didn’t do what this small girl’s father was doing. She wanted to help her employer. On that point her employer came inside. “ I must confess my daughter is not friendly child. Due to her sickness she keeps getting angry..” “ I saw her & she is nice.” On that point little girl came running. She kept looking towards Archana. But Archana tried to touch her. She ran away. “ She is not much friendly.” Her Mom said nervously. Then her Mom added. “ I know you need treatment & we will give it to you. If you help us we help you.” Archana nodded. Entire night that small girl kept ignoring Archana. She never answered anything. It was upsetting but Archana needed to handle it. Then finally in morning they went to Psychiatrist. Archana told all to Psychiatrist. Psychiatrist listened to her & said “ You have developed Dissociative Personality Disorder. It developed due to situation in your life. You never felt appreciated. You got married but your husband doesn’t care for you.” “ Can you cure me?” Psychiatrist smiled & said “ Yes. I will.” She smiled. Then she asked “ Can I stay with this family as employee?” “ Of course! You will work for them perfectly. I don’t advise you to return to your family.” She laughed negatively. She said “ They don’t want me back!” “ Don’t feel so sure. Such type of people throw woman out of house then soon they sense their house need your work. They begin to call you. Don’t go back.” Her Employer “ But she have two kids.” Suddenly Archana’s tone changed “ Yes..yes those kids! Who dislike me as babies since they don’t want school they want to enjoy life with their Dad. I hate them.” Then she stopped talking. Psychiatrist kept observing but soon she was normal again. “ What happened?” Her Employer gave one scary look. Then her employer asked “ Will my daughter be safe with her?” Psychiatrist smiled. “ Of course! If you don’t want to take risk we can arrange something else for Archana.” But her employer immediately changed view. “ No my daughter want her to stay.” “ Then keep her.” Then Psychiatrist told about all treatment. They came back in home. Soon she found out from Cops that her husband wanted to talk with her. But she told Psychiatrist denied permission. Her husband kept creating issue until her employer didn’t paid him. Her employer said to her “ You are needed for my daughter & I can do anything for her.” Archana nodded. After that Archana started doing everything her best for that small girl. She didn’t know if that small girl would get healthy or not but she knew one thing that she hated her own children in her subconscious mind. She felt that she never loved them. She shouldn’t have married in first place. But her employer kept paying & her husband never came to take her back. She always feared that one day her children might come for her. Her children were not pleasant thing for her but they were monsters of her night. She turned out worst mother but it was truth. She never met her children again. One day when her employer decided to shift. Archana took job in different town. She went away from her past. She never wanted to see them again. When train took her away from her family she first time laughed truly with happiness in life.
