Tina's job
Tina was so happy to have her job. It was so important for her. She was working so hard to get one & finally she began to work. She was doing all without stopping. She needed to please her Boss. She didn’t want to take risk of hurting her Boss. She felt so upset & nervous whenever her Boss called her. She was so dedicated to do all properly. She came in her office then she started watching carefully around her office. She began to observe that she managed to take all those objects that might feel perfect to her. Tina didn’t want anything wrong. She kept looking carefully towards entire room. She began to feel so nervous. She looked towards curtain. She decided for dark colour since she thought that it would keep them clean. She didn’t want keep cleaning them again & again. She did all in office. She sent curtains to wash time to time. She even did dusting sometimes. She didn’t want her Boss to get upset. She was happy when she ordered this curtains but now she was tense. Maid who came to clean declared that they were making room too dark. Maid gave them disgusting look & said “ My God they are looking so cheap. They didn’t have any class! In office you need to order things properly Madam! Now if some customer see this curtain they will assume that business will be on bankruptcy! I do cleaning in many offices. I know what they wanted. You need to purchase costly curtain but with light colour. Something with peaceful design. It is looking..” maid explained her how stupid she was. Now she didn’t understand what she supposed to do. She suddenly began to think that she might change all those curtains with her own money. She suggested it to maid. That maid laughed. “ Madam if you do that Boss will think you are planning to steal some money by this way. Now do as I said. Just ignore all for sometime.” Tina nodded. Tina was tense. She knew that she did worst mistake. Slowly her Boss Ravi came inside. Ravi looked around carelessly & called her. She came running. Then Ravi told her to bring one file. She asked slowly “ Sir do you like those curtains?” Ravi looked around & watched as if he was observing them for first time. Actually he was truly watching them for first time. Ravi smiled & said “ I need file not curtains. This is not some boutique which needed curtains to attract customers. We need to make good business proposals instead. Show me all those files.” “ Yes! Sir.” She immediately ran to gather those files. She set them perfectly in proper line. She wanted all to be perfect. Ravi watched them. Ravi was not much interested. Ravi just wanted to get his work done. Tina was very useful in Ravi’s eyes. He didn’t need to pay attention to many things. Ravi smiled sweetly & said “ Everything is just perfect. We just need good ideas for customers & I need to time to think about them so just make one thing sure no one would disturb me.” Tina immediately nodded. Tina closed door carefully. Tina sat on chair near door. This way if someone came to disturb she would handle immediately. Tina began to look towards office. She began to count which things were not proper. She carefully looked towards office. She needed to make everything perfect. She began to remember things she needed to do like she didn’t keep contact with all customers. She smiled & told herself that it was most important & interesting. She began to call their customers one by one. Slowly she sensed that most of customers were too busy not interested in her call. Tina felt so sad. She didn’t want her company to suffer losses. She shivered at memory. Her father used to work for one Company. It was so nice. They were living happy life. She remembered her large house which was given by company. They used to stay in it. She still remembered it like yesterday. She & her brother used to play for hours in Balcony. Mom used to scream loudly. Mom used to tell them to complete their studies. All was perfect until one day their father told them that his Company was closing. All their fun was over. They shifted to small house. She was forced to stay in two room with her entire family. Slowly arguments became regular in their family. Her father started to scream daily on them. Her father wanted them to save while her father was wasting so much money on himself. Her father went in hotels then her father was drinking regularly. Her father was never such worst man. After losing job her father became worst. Even today whenever she returned back home her father kept warning her that one day she would lose her job too. Her father was mentally disturbed man. She knew it but world didn’t. Her father still get respect & he used it for wrong purposes. She was so scared that he might took money from someone. She didn’t want to keep paying his borrowing but she had little option. Her brother was still in school. Her Mom was handling entire household. It was not easy for Mom. Her Mom needed to do all by herself. Her Mom couldn’t demand any luxuries. Tina was so scared that one day her Mom might fall sick due to all this. But Tina didn’t say it. Tina suddenly came out of her thoughts. She looked around. She was in her office. Her Boss Ravi was working on some ideas to get customers. She began to pray to God that Ravi would find some. She didn’t want to lose job. She decided to go & ask Ravi if he wanted something. She looked towards time. She knew that she must did it after 2 hours. It was fixed. She couldn’t change that rule. She needed to do all properly. She didn’t want her Company to close. She felt so scared. She decided that she might do light colour decoration in office. She didn’t want it to look cheap. Customers must be impressed. Then she slowly began to search for ways to advertise for her Company. It was not her job but Tina was beginning to do it anyway. She wanted all to be perfect. She began to think positively about everything. She started to admire Ravi’s work as best. She just needed to make Ravi successful at any cost. She needed that job & she was going to do all to keep that job. She decided that she would work hard to keep it.
Ravi was concentrating on his work but he could sense that Tina was getting too obsessed. He didn’t understand cause. He was watching Tina from first day. She was obsessed with entire office. Ravi didn’t understand cause. He had his family & he felt that he must not get too friendly with Tina. His wife Rucha was his love. He was faithful husband but still he had few concerns about Tina. He was working with her on daily basis. He was trying so hard to ignore interfering in her personal matters but still it kept coming in his mind. Tina was working too hard. Ravi decided that he needed to tell her that. Ravi called Tina. Tina came in room. Tina was tense. Tina always looked tense. Tina “ What happened?” Ravi smiled towards her. Ravi “ Nothing important..” Tina “ My God your bottle is empty. I must fill it with water.” “ I don’t need it now.” Then Tina looked towards curtains. Tina “ Maybe I should change them by my salary?! It is my mistake.” Ravi gave her confused look & asked “ What?” “ Those curtains?!” Ravi looked towards them. Ravi “ They are nice. Why you want to change them?” “ Customer like light coloured curtains Sir. I am observing many places where people work they all use light coloured curtains. We need to do same.” Ravi gave her shocked look. Ravi “ Why you want to waste your money on these curtains? Tina! Your salary is important for you & your family! You work so hard for it. Your brother is still small. Your family want your earnings & what about your marriage? Don’t you want to find life partner?!” Tina smiled shyly. She wanted someone who understand her. Tina “ I don’t know how does I find one! I don’t have any plans.” Ravi “ Then you need to make. Come on! I could have introduce you to someone if I know some one who was suitable for you. But I don’t know any one. It is so hard to find suitable boys. But you need to find one.. why don’t you come to dinner party we are giving on this Sunday?” She smiled but she felt tense. “ But what about Rucha Madam?” “ Don’t worry. She like job of match making.” Tina nodded & went to her desk. Tina was so nervous. Ravi called Rucha. Ravi “ I have invited Tina to our party?” Rucha angrily “ Why? We have so many..” “ Come on. Be sports! You were so different in old days. You use to love these type of things.” “ What? Inviting your girlfriends! I mean friend who is girl!” Ravi started laughing. “ Actually I am doing this to find boyfriend for her. Tina need some life partner. Let’s help her. She is so alone & lonely.” Now Rucha started laughing. “ Now I like that job of match making. I will search boys around area for your friend…now I must not call her your girlfriend even in joke otherwise it will impact her future.” Rucha laughed. Ravi relaxed & started working. Rucha was so happy after hearing this. Tina worked so hard due to her Rucha felt insecure even in house. Ravi kept talking about Tina again & again. Ravi kept setting her examples. Now Ravi was trying to find husband for her so everything was totally changed. Rucha was happy. Clearly Ravi liked that girl but he didn’t want to settle with her. He wanted her to settle with someone else. She felt so happy. Rucha immediately started to look carefully towards guest list. It was large one. She was looking for suitable boys. She kept carefully observing each one. She kept judging them one by one. She sensed that she had invited mostly married men. She felt so upset. She began to search for those boys who were not married. She needed to find suitable boys. Soon she sensed that she didn’t have much. In fact one or two who were available didn’t look suitable at all. Rucha started to get tense. Rucha needed to relax herself. But she couldn’t. Ravi wanted Tina to marry & Rucha wanted it to happen at any cost. Rucha couldn’t lose this opportunity. But soon Rucha began feel frustrated. Rucha couldn’t see much option. But she needed to tell truth. She couldn’t find suitable boys. Rucha felt so sad. Rucha told herself that she needed to search more. She began to search. Tina was so nervous. Her stomach was feeling so strange. She knew that it was due to suggestion of going to that party. She didn’t want to go. But she knew that if she said “no” it would look odd to Boss. Tina needed to say yes. Tina decided to go. Tina was so upset. Tina kept thinking positively about all. Tina started to imagine boys who would understand her. She started to think positively about entire scene. She knew that Boss himself suggested it so he would surely arrange boys who would be suitable. She began to hope to meet a kind boy who would understand her. She started to think positively about entire situation. Tina knew that everything would turn out to be best. She trusted Ravi. She told herself to concentrate on her work. She soon began to watch all that deserved attention in office & she sensed that she needed to do all. While Rucha didn’t find much option, she needed to confess to Ravi. Rucha called him & told him “ I don’t see any suitable boy on list.” Ravi felt so frustrated. Ravi “ You can’t say that! I just promised her.” “ But I can’t find one. I can’t show some wrong sort of boy! Just invite her. When she will get friendly then people will began to suggest boys for her. She needed to just mix with people.” Ravi felt upset but he sensed that he didn’t have much option so he said “ Okay.” He called Tina. Tina came in with nervous expressions. But when Ravi told her truth, she smiled. Tina said “ It’s okay Sir. I can return to my work.” Ravi felt so shocked. It seemed as if Tina was not interested in finding any one. Ravi felt as if he was forcing marriage on her. Ravi looked towards her with nervousness. Ravi was not happy about entire incidence. He wanted to see it in positive way but he couldn’t. Tina was nice girl but she was fully convinced against marriage. Ravi wanted to change her view but he found it so difficult. Ravi just looked back towards his files. He knew that he was not Tina’s relative so he couldn’t decide for her. Ravi just took breath. He was feeling so sad for her. He wanted happiness for her.
Tina was so happy when finally Ravi told her that there would be no boy for her in party. She didn’t want one. She knew that when that boy would visit her family especially her father would change everything. She had seen it many times. It kept happening again & again. She was so frustrated by it. She wanted to feel positive but it was not happening. She was feeling stressed & nervous about marriage. She couldn’t see it in positive way. Step by step Tina began to feel relaxed. She didn’t need to adjust with boy now. She knew that she wouldn’t be admired by any boy. She was not so great. She needed to just please her Boss. She decided to go in party to please him. She went near table of Ravi & said “ It’s okay Sir. I will come. I think I need to take some break too.” Ravi smiled happily. He thought now Tina would come. Ravi called Rucha & said “ I told Tina that we can’t find suitable boy but still she will come.” Rucha felt so sad. Now she began to feel guilty. Rucha said “ Don’t worry. I will try.” Ravi was feeling so sad too. Ravi “ I feel she needed someone to bring her life on track. She is getting obsessed with office work in strange way. I feel atmosphere in her house is not positive too.” “ Don’t worry we will find someone.” Ravi didn’t say anything. Ravi just said “ She is coming. I confirmed it.” “ Great. Let me handle remaining things.” Ravi just disconnected call. Ravi was not much hopeful but still he kept thinking positively. Tina was looking fine. Tina kept doing all as per instructions. Tina knew that Sunday was far away. Tina began to feel totally uninterested in it. Tina did all her job. Tina kept telling herself that she must do all to please her boss. She felt so nervous. But still she did all in her best way. She kept looking around. She was feeling so restless. She knew that soon she needed to go home. She didn’t like it. Atmosphere of her house was getting worst. At beginning she was doing all for her family but now her brother was getting involved in working already . Her brother started to get involved in other jobs . She knew that her brother wouldn’t complete his education. In fact her brother already started to do small sort of jobs like helping in plastering. Her brother said clearly “ I don’t want you to feel my burden. I seen what happened with our father? I don’t want same to happen with me. I don’t want to waste time in studies.” She insisted “ You must complete school.” He nodded. “ I will complete it & do some diploma which will help me in construction. I can become contractor instead of worker.” She didn’t like idea. She wanted her brother to study but her brother was not interested. After her Dad lost job, her brother was not interested in investing money on education. Her brother just wanted to hurry up in earning money. She wanted him to study. She had her college degree & she wanted same for her brother but it was not going to happen. Her father kept discouraging her brother. She hated her Dad for it. But she began to sense that his Dad was more dominating so she couldn’t stop him. She felt so sad when she looked towards her brother. She just wanted to keep working but it was not possible. She needed to return to her home. She was so nervous. She just wanted to stay in office but then she slowly went out with heavy heart. She returned home. Once again all troubles were started. Her Dad was screaming without cause. Her Mom was trying to handle all. Her brother was missing from picture. Her brother didn’t stay at home much. Many people in Society already started calling him for repairing their flats. She entered in home. She immediately went in bedroom. Her Dad was still screaming from behind. She wished only if she could take him to some Doctor. But it was out of question. First she didn’t have money second her Dad was not interested in visiting Psychiatrist . Tina went in room. She slowly opened her purse. It had some money but she knew that it would vanish soon. She needed to spend it. She couldn’t save her money. It was not option. She looked towards her house. Her house needed repairing no doubt but she couldn’t pay for it. She kept observing it. Then she suddenly began to think. She needed to hide all mistakes of that house. She began to search for money. She suddenly felt what if Ravi decided to visit her house. She checked bank balance & she immediately called contractor for interior. Her Mom was so shocked. Her Mom wanted to deny but she couldn’t. Tina was already planned to do all. Tina’s Mom felt that something was wrong with Tina’s obsession. Her Mom was sensing her daughter was not acting normal. Tina was cleaning rooms again & again. Her Mom tried to tell her to relax but Tina never did it. Tina just kept saying. “ Mom I must keep all perfect.” Her Mom began to get tense about Tina. Mom kept watching her working. Tina worked at office once again in house she began to work. They began to create interior. Tina’s Mom didn’t want it but her brother was happy since he could become part. Tina kept discussing. Tina was working non stop. Tina’s health was clearly getting effected by it. Tina’s Mom kept telling her to relax but she was not ready. Tina was working so hard. Finally time of Sunday came. Tina got dressed up. She changed her dresses multiple times. Finally when she sensed that she needed to go if she wanted to be on time she decided to go. Tina went there. It was wonderful party. But Tina was so nervous. She kept pulling her dress without cause. She kept watching her face in mirror. She was looking bad in her view. She kept trying to smile. Ravi was busy with guests. She asked him many times if he needed help. He denied so she sat in corner. She kept rubbing tables since she felt that her purse created on mark. Suddenly one old man sat next to her. She didn’t smile. She was too nervous that man said slowly “ I am Mohit.” She smiled. She didn’t give her name. Mohit continued. “ I saw you rubbing on Table. Do you feel so concerned to clean always?” Tina felt so angry & upset. Tina screamed “ It was my mistake so I did it. Why you are irritating me?” She said it so loudly that all people started watching. Mohit didn’t look nervous. Mohit just said “ Sorry. This is my card. You can come anytime.” Mohit took out card then he put it back. “ You will tear it anyway. Bye.” Tina was so frustrated. She slowly looked towards Mohit who came back once again & gave card. “ Keep it.” This time she looked in it. Mohit was psychiatrist. Tina didn’t wanted to cry but she started to. Some people came & asked “ What happened? Did that man…” “ No..no he was just pointing. I need help.” Then Rucha joined Tina. Tina told all while crying. Rucha “ Trust me. One visit will not harm. Mohit will give concession in fees. After all you do so much extra work for Ravi.” Tina smiled. Next day she went to office. When work was over she didn’t want to go home. She suddenly began to feel Psychiatrist was better place to go. She took appointment & called her Mom. She waited in line finally her number came. Mohit welcomed her with smile. She told all. Mohit listened. Mohit “ You managed to develop Generalised Anxiety Disorder due to situation in your house. You wanted to keep job. You try to please all. You keep feeling scared.” She nodded. Then Mohit smiled & said “ Don’t worry. We can get over it & I will give you 50% discount.” Tina laughed. On that point Tina decided that she needed to cure herself if she wanted good future for herself & her brother. She couldn’t let her father destroy entire family. She smiled & said “ I will try my best.” On this day she began to her new journey towards hope.
