Tina’s double life
Tina started to observe photos. Those photos were so alive. In every corner in that photo was making life alive. She was thinking about it. She started to observe every scene with sorrow. She could sense meaning on every strange dream which would show new effect to her mind. She began to imagine them all sitting outside. She knew that it was dream which was impossible but in her mind it was possible. It could become alive like yesterday. It was that time when she was surrounded by friends & hopes. It was wonderful for her. She started to give her happiness. She wanted pleasant life. She began to imagine how did her life look great to her. She began to feel as if she living in her pleasant life again. It was her life before she lost all her money. They had wonderful business. But sadly life took wrong turn. Her Dad’s business was shut down. Her Dad wanted to act normal but he was not normal. He kept drinking through out day. He didn’t talk that much. He just kept sitting in his room. Her Mom tried her best to show to world that they were rich which they were not. She knew that her Mom was unnecessary wasting her money on wrong people. They wanted rich people & they were not rich anymore. They were poor. Her grandparents were her best support. Her grandmother used to smile on every situation. She used to tell her that she was daughter of poor farmer so she didn’t mind poverty. She used to tell her wonderful stories about her life. Due to her encouragement Tina took one job as salesgirl. She started to earn little bit. But she received criticism from time to time. Her family didn’t like specifically her Mom. Her Mom wanted to pretend that they were rich when they were not. She wanted to live life in normal way. Her many friends were not rich. But they were smiling. She was restless. She wanted to feel happy. She started to working as sales girl. She managed to talk sweetly with her customers. Some customers were nice but some were arrogant. She wanted to cry when they behaved in wrong way with her. But her grandparents told her to not turn back. Her father was always in room. He was not getting over his depression. He managed to hurt all. It was so upsetting. She wanted to live in normal life but her parents wanted to live like rich. Her brother & sister were inspired it too. Her brother managed to make contact with some sort of fraud people. Her brother Ravi started to find wrong & corrupt way to get money. It was so frustrating. He was getting appreciated for acting wrong way. While her honest work considered useless. Her grandparents were so admiring her so much. They sensed that she was doing honest job. It was so upsetting. No one admired her. Her sister kept telling her that she was nothing but just maid. Actually that might be true but being honest maid was better than being corrupt person but not in eyes of her family. Her grandparents were so different & considerate. But they died on their old age. She needed to accept it. But still she couldn’t. Her job as salesgirl was still with her. She was not doing much progress. She loved it but then when she saw her brother loaded in money. Sometimes he came to her shop. He began to show off. Her colleagues used to admire him. He used to talk so sweetly before them. He used to purchase all for home. It was not with his money. Mom used to give him money but no one ever asked him about it. They always used to discuss about him. He used to tell about how much he earn. How did he spent his life. His charming attitude used to give enchanting effect on all. He was their Prince Charming. She was his useless sister. She never tried to say anything against him otherwise she might became his evil step sister instead of Cinderella they might give evil step sister to Prince Charming to make him great. He was so important for them all. She wanted her world in shop for her job to remain intact but he managed to change it too. Her world was no longer pleasant. He kept irritating her even in it. Her brother Kumar was worst news of her life. Wherever she went soon he entered in that place. He started throwing his fake claims about his influence. At beginning she thought that he truly had them but soon she sensed that he didn’t. It was entirely fake. He never had any influence. He just kept claiming. He managed to earn money but he used it just for his personal purpose. He didn’t have any plan to give it to anyone. She was finding it hard to get anything on her salary. Tina was feeling so sad. On that day her situation became worst. That shop was going to get closed so she was not going to have that job too. She knew that it was her last day on work. She watched those pictures. She gave sad look & she went out. She went in shop like she normally did. But today owner just wanted her to pack things. Owner was planning to close shop. New owner of that shop was going to come. Tina started to pack all immediately. She began to arrange all when suddenly a young man came. That young man was looking confident & pleasant. Once upon a time she used to dream husband like this. But now she didn’t want any husband. Her life was great without anyone. She just wanted peace in her life. This man gave her smile & asked “ Do you work here as salesgirl?” She nodded. He gave nervous look. “ Actually I am planning to turn this shop in bar & restaurant do you want to work here?” She felt so shocked. She knew working in shop was one thing but working in bar & restaurant was completely different. She rejected offer with smile. That man nodded. She noticed that this man was looking towards her again & again. She didn’t like it. But she decided to ignore it. She didn’t want to play attention to this man. She knew that it was just question of one day. She knew that after one day she would go back to her house. This man would never meet her again. She kept working while ignoring him. She started to feel so happy by all. She began to smile towards him when she didn’t want to do it. She was so confused. She turned her back & looked away. She knew one thing that she didn’t want to connect herself with this man again.
Tina was so restless when she woke next morning. She knew her job was gone so she couldn’t go out. Suddenly she sensed that she was taking bathe. It was totally strange. It seemed as if she was guest in her body & someone else deciding for her. She knew that she needed to act different but she managed to took out a stylish dress. She started applying make up to herself. She wanted to stop at beginning but then after sometime she began to enjoy it. She started to think that she needed to enjoy herself. She didn’t understand her desire but she wanted to dress like modern girl & go in that restaurant. She went their on impulse. She was walking in different way. She never walked in high heels like that. It was so strange. Then she went towards that man. She looked in his eyes. She didn’t remember anything more. Then next thing she remembered that she was sleeping on her own bed. It was night. She didn’t remember her entire day. She didn’t want to tell this to anyone. She began to feel so scared. She started to feel so hopeful. She would started to remember all step by step. It began to frustrate her. She wanted to feel that she could remember. Then she started to began to remember few things. She was so happy with fresh feel. She started to remember how did she went in restaurant, then she remembered that day. She went in restaurant. She began to look towards him. She started to feel so tense. He was someone special to her. She knew that she didn’t remember much about it. She started to feel so happy when she saw his face. Then she began to get tense. He was not someone whom she should date. She didn’t know him. He was owner of that bar & restaurant. He didn’t seem like someone who belonged to simple family. He could date & flirt with her & then he could leave her in few days. It was easily possible. She didn’t remember how much attached she was to him during that day. She was so tense. She began to shiver with fear. She was so upset. She needed to understand what she was doing. She went out & her Mom immediately said “ Job as sales girl was okay but now job as bar girl? Don’t you feel you need to take a break.” She began to understand what she was doing. But she said “ I am acting as restaurant receptionist. It is not just bar.” She began to feel so upset. She didn’t even remember anything. She didn’t know what job she was doing. She didn’t tell it to Mom. She knew one thing that tomorrow she would go & stop this job. She didn’t say much. She looked towards clock. It was just 2 am. She sensed that she needed to sleep more. She suddenly turned towards her Mom & asked “ Why you are not sleeping?” She turned around. Then she sensed her Mom was not behind she screamed loudly. She literally fall down out of her bed. She was so scared. She looked around. She was in her bedroom. She ran to check around house. Everyone was sleeping. She went in her bedroom. She checked her closet. She didn’t see that modern dress. Actually she remembered that she never purchased that sort of modern dress. She sensed that she was sleeping entire time. She never went to that restaurant. She smiled happily. She went to bed again. She wake up in morning. All was perfect as her situation. Everyone was ignoring & taunting her. She felt so restless. She didn’t understand why she felt that she went in that restaurant & bar. She began to get so upset. She took her lunch quietly. She tried to enjoy it throughout every taunt. It was so upsetting. When they started to taunt she began to remember that dream. She began to feel that she took that job. She was in that restaurant. She was looking in eyes of that man. He was looking towards her with love. She knew that it was not love. He was owner of restaurant. She decided that she might visit place. Then she went there. She saw that it was under construction. It was big hotel. It was not some small hotel. It was five star hotel. It was so beautiful in picture. She began to have second thought about rejecting job. This job was with good reputation. She could manage to get good earnings & she would also didn’t seem low. But she didn’t have even numbers of that owner so it was not possible. She was feeling so tense. She didn’t want to feel obsessed with that person. She went in her house. She tried to act normal but it was not working. Her Mom kept taunting her about not earning. She kept feeling restless due to it. She was confident now that she didn’t went out in night. She began to feel so much upset about all. She started to discuss what she needed to do with her friend on mobile. Her friend was nice. She kept encouraging her but today when she told about her dream. Sheetal sounded scared. Sheetal “ Can I tell you one thing?” Then she didn’t say anything for sometime. Until she didn’t agree to hear. When Sheetal planed to say something like that it was clear that situation was not normal. She needed to visit to some Doctor. She began to get restless. She started to feel so tense. Sheetal continued “ This dream is showing different impact on mind. This must not continue. This must not give wrong reaction to your life.” She knew that now eetal was going to suggest some Doctor so she took deep breath to control her anxiety. She said slowly “ I don’t think today I will dream that way.” Sheetal smiled & said “ I will send you one movie you must watch it then you will get such pleasant dreams.” She agreed happily. Tina felt that finally it was over. Tina watched that movie. She was so happy when she went to sleep. She didn’t feel sorrow or tension. She was on top of the world. She was feeling so pleasant in her thoughts. But after sometime she started to get restless. She was so frustrated. She wanted to feel happy in her heart. She didn’t feel that pleasant appeal in her mind. She was so stressed out. Then she began to feel happy in her soul when she stared to think about movie. She suddenly began to feel confident that she needed sleep. She went to sleep peacefully. She felt that she would see nice dream.
When next morning Tina woke up she was shivering with fear. In her dream she started to feel that she was dancing in restaurant. She was in arms of different men. She felt so scared. She ran towards her closet to confirm that she didn’t went out on that night. She was shocked when she saw her sandal was broken the way it was broken in dream. She started crying. She began to think that dream was true. She went out. She could correct her mistake. She began to wash her body. She began to felt that she was dirty. She tried her best to shake away that feeling but it was not working. She did something wrong. She knew that she did very wrong thing. She began to feel scared what if she get pregnant. She decided that she needed to talk with owner of restaurant. She changed clothes & ran out towards restaurant. She went to that place. It was still under renovation. She didn’t understand where she went yesterday. She called Sheetal. But she couldn’t stop crying. Sheetal told her to wait. Sheetal was going to come there. Tina was standing on corner of road. She wanted to jump before car. She knew that it was possible that after it would just make her handicapped. She didn’t want it. She kept waiting there. Suddenly one car came towards her. She looked scared. Then she sensed that it was owner of hotel. She didn’t care anymore what he feel she wanted to know where she was. She came towards him & started to talk in loud voice. Soon people gathered. His driver screamed on her. But that man stopped him. That man “ I feel you feel that you were coming in my restaurant? You were not. You never did. But you keep visiting this construction sight so I came to ask why you are coming here.” She was so confused. “ But I remember all!” Driver “ Madam you are lying. I always stay with my Boss. I never saw you except once in that old shop.” She smiled happily & said “ Ohh it was just dream.”Then she said. But she couldn’t believe it. On that point Sheetal came. Sheetal also started to apologise. That man invited them to show interior. It was nice restaurant. He smiled & said “ I can offer you a job but not on bar. You can become cashier. Your last Boss was telling you are very honest.” She felt so nervous. “ Thanks but I have this problem..” Sheetal interrupted “ I just got appointment of psychiatrist for you. It will cure your dream.” Driver “ But are you sure?” Sheetal started to look nervous too. That man gave card to her. “ This is my psychiatrist go to him. As employer I will make insurance for you & pay your expenses. I need to check your mental health too. So cancel that appointment.” She nodded. Then that man arranged her appointment. That man started to go when she asked his name loudly. “ Rakesh but all call me Rocky. You can call it.” She nodded. She knew that psychiatrist was only option for her. She immediately went there with Sheetal. They waited for sometime then their number came. She was so scared when she entered. Then Psychiatrist told Sheetal to go out. At beginning Tina kept telling just one dream. Then Psychiatrist smiled & said “ I can sense you are hiding something. Please tell all. I am your Psychiatrist.” She took deep breath. “ You will tell no one?” He nodded. Then she told her horrible dream. She started crying. “ I have surely done something wrong.” But he called Nurse. He told Nurse to check her. When she came out, Nurse told Psychiatrist “ She is untouched it was just her dream.” She was so shocked. She was happy & tense both at same time. She didn’t understand how could she react. She needed to feel happy or sad. But Psychiatrist smiled. “ So this is just mental feeling. That is great so you will not get physically harmed by it. Some people actually did all that in their mental illness. She shivered with fear. She was feeling so restless. But Psychiatrist slowly told her why did he dreamt like that. “ Actually you are mentally upset & nervous. You wanted happiness in life but you were not getting it. You were targeted by your Mom & siblings again & again. You wanted to escape it & on that point you lost job. When you saw your new Boss Rocky you began to imagine his fantasy life..which is not true. Rocky had girlfriends. But he never got anyone who will be suitable for him. Finally he married but his wife left him for some one else. He was having mental troubles too.” She felt so sad. She knew that she didn’t have much chance to have him as her husband but she hoped. She began to feel so sad. She started to tell herself that it was okay. Psychiatrist smiled & said “ Don’t worry. You don’t need him to solve your troubles. Your job can do it for you.” She didn’t believe it but she nodded. Then she came home. She decided that she would take treatment since she needed that job. She was not hoping for success in it. On that night she once again dreamt. She woke up tense next morning but she knew that it was dream. She still felt upset. Any way her mobile rang. Rocky was calling. He told her to join job immediately. She went there. He gave her job of his Aid. She supposed to handle all. She got nice salary. Entire day she kept looking towards his schedule & handling it. She began to work so hard & started to save her money in bank. She didn’t tell to her family since she knew that they would never appreciate. Her salary was still low in their eyes. She kept visiting her Psychiatrist. One day finally her dreams stopped. She didn’t sense it until her Psychiatrist didn’t pointed out that she didn’t dream for month. Slowly it turned into year & her life became normal again. She didn’t care what other said about her. She cared just about one thing that was her happiness. She kept doing her job & she was happy in it.
