Prita was so shocked and confused when she started deciding her dress. She knew that dress was not that important now. Tarun loved her from childhood. She began to feel so depressed suddenly tears appeared in her eyes. Tarun looked confused and scared. Her Dad screamed " Where were you? He was waiting for you for such long time." He said it in such way that Prita felt more upset. Tarun was confused now. Tarun stood up " It's alright let's go." Her Mom touched her on shoulder. It was same promising touch which helped her every time when she felt scared. She was so upset still Mom's touch did magic for her. She smiled and stood up with Tarun and said "Let's go." Tarun smiled. They both went out. She felt so relaxed. It was so wonderful to get fresh air. She looked at Tarun. She liked him so such. She didn't want to lose him. But then once again she started to feel depressed. She began to feel finally she was going to lose him. She must not fall in love with him. Then she decided that she didn't love him at all. She turned away from him. Slowly cold air started to touch her face she didn't understand when she fall asleep. She didn't sense when she started dreaming. It was not wonderful dream but a nightmare in which she was going to lose every thing. Tarun was chatting with her for few moments. When she didn't answer, he turned. He was shocked when he saw that she was asleep. But then he sensed that she must be tired. He had sensed from beginning that she was stressed about something. He just wanted to understand cause. But he didn't want to disturb her sleep. But somewhere in his mind he knew cause. It was her Dad. He always kept harassing her. Until now she always trusted him but this time something was wrong. She was not telling truth to him. He didn't like this. He wanted her to become normal again. He saw that she was having nightmare. He didn't like it. He decided that he might touch her little on forehead. It worked. Slowly she started smiling in her sleep. He sensed one thing that he still had magical effect on her. At first he felt that she was forced in marriage but he felt that she truly love him.
Prita was shocked when she woke up. She started to feel ashamed. She began to cry slowly. Tarun" Just stop this. Why are you scared of me? I am your childhood friend right?" " No you are different now." " I don't understand." " I don't know but I feel that you might break up with me." Then Tarun started laughing. " What happened?" " I thought you wanted to break up." Then they both started laughing. Prita suddenly sensed that her fear was totally wrong. Tarun was not change a little bit. Prita " I felt so scared that you might want to move ahead. Tara and Girish were so comfortable while we are so awkward." " They are different. We are different. Girish and Tara are modern and we are not. We need to move ahead in our way. We can't keep comparing each other." Prita nodded. She was so happy after spending time with him. When she returned home, she told her Dad that he could fix date. Her Dad " Great I thought he was never going to marry you. I will pray to God with thousand coconuts when you finally get married." Her Dad said it in such way as if she was nothing but burden to him. She felt so hurt. Her Mom came and hugged her. She went in room with her. She told every thing to her. Mom " He is nice boy. You can live happy life with him." She smiled " I know Mom." Then suddenly her phone rang. It was Tara. " Well how are you?" " I am fine. This is so irritating that Girish and Tarun went to base ball game today." " What? No. Tarun was with me." Tara suddenly stopped talking. Tara " I think Girish is lying to me." " But I thought you two were moving ahead perfectly." " Yes. Every thing was perfect until my Dad promised that car to him." " So your Dad didn't manage to give that car." " No..he got that car but then he suddenly vanished." " What?" "Yes. He vanished with gift." Tara started crying. " What happened? Tell me every thing." " He was acting so strange. He didn't seem to be interested in marriage. He just wanted to use me. He is changed." Prita was shocked. Suddenly her world began to shatter. She remembered touch of Tarun. She began to doubt his intentions too. She started to feel that he might be lying too. Tara " Did you fix date of marriage?" " My Dad is going to fix it." " Do it soon? Or you might break heart like me." Prita was so shocked. She never expected such thing from Girish. She suddenly started to feel scared. She was no longer interested in meeting Tarun. She began to think that she had break this marriage before he did. She didn't want to feel insulted. She started to feel so scared. She knew her Dad would not let her do it. She just didn't understand what she supposed to do. On that point just death seemed best option to her. She just started searching for blade. She finally found it. She began to cut her hand. Her blood started coming out. She began to sense pain then suddenly she felt that she did wrong. She began to remember Tarun. She remembered his word. They were different that Girish and Tara. She suddenly wanted to save herself. She started to try to stop blood but it didn't work. She tried hard then she ran in kitchen to her Mom. " Mom I cut myself." Her Mom was so shocked. " But why?" " I don't know Mom just save me. I don't want to die." Her Mom started tying. Then she called her Dad. Whole time while she was taken to hospital her Dad kept cursing her. She just began to think it was better if she could die. Her Dad started telling her Mom she must not tell this to Tarun. Prita heard it but she decided that she would tell all. If he wanted to leave her, she wanted it to happen now. It was strange at one point she wanted him in life on other point she wanted to throw him out of life. She didn't understand what she was doing. When they reached hospital, Doctor sensed it. Doctor told her clearly that she did a crime. Doctor didn't inform Police as favour on her. She had promised. She never did it again. Any way in her soul after so much humiliation she didn't want to repeat her mistake. She understood one thing that suicide was not good option for her. She needed to try other option. But she didn't understand how could she avoid this marriage. She knew that Tarun was going to leave her and break her heart. She just needed to get rid of this. Then she suddenly got idea. She had to tell him about her suicide. He would not marry mad girl like her. She was crying while thinking about destroying her relationship but she knew that she had to do it. He was going to break her heart so she needed to leave him now.
When Prita was in hospital, her parents kept lying to her. They kept telling Tarun that she went out with Tara. Tarun was convinced since Tara supported it. In fact Tara decided to stay with Prita in hospital sometime. When Prita started to talk with Tara, she expected Tara to agree with her. But Tara didn't look convince. Tara " Girish and Tarun were not same." " I don't understand." " I saw those friends and I know it and you also know it on some level. You are just too scared so you are not expecting it." " But how can you be so sure?" " Fine let's confirm it. Why don't you just call Tarun now in hospital?" " What if Dad know about it?" " Well then I will handle it." Prita looked confused. But Prita finally nodded. Tara called Tarun and told him the truth. Prita was shivering with fear and crying. She was so scared to face her Dad. She was so sure that Tarun would not come and meet her. She was so upset about every thing. She just wanted to get rid of situation. But in half an hour Tarun was sitting near her. He was so scared. He started counseling her. Finally he said that he wanted to talk with Doctor. When he went to Doctor, Prita was so confused. She never thought some one should show so much concern about her. It was showing for her. In her entire life her Dad never showed so much concern about her. Prita " Tara do you think he was lying about visiting Doctor he may be want to avoid me? No one will show willingness to marry mad girl like me!!" " You are not mad. First understand it." " But I tried to kill myself?" " Yes because you are depressed." " But look at you. You are fine even when Girish left you while I am panicking while having Tarun by my side." " It is happening because my Dad is different than your Dad. My Dad don't blame me for every thing." Prita started crying when Tarun entered with another Doctor. Tarun " Prita this is psychiatrist. I know that you are not mad. But still you are having minor problem. It will better if we treat it now. I talked to psychiatrist. He said we can go ahead with marriage. Our marriage will not harm your problem. It will help you." Then that psychiatrist sat beside her. Psychiatrist told every one to go away. She was so scared when she was alone in that room with him. But slowly he became friendly with her. She told every thing to him step by step. She began to feel so much better after discussing it. Psychiatrist kept asking different question to her between lines. Finally she asked " So what is wrong with me?" "Nothing." Prita was so angry. She screamed " It can't be true. Look at my hand I cut my hand." " Yes because you have panicked. It happens in depression many time. Your Dad is too strict towards you. You found Tarun but he had to go to abroad so once again you need to stay at your Dad's mercy which was not good news for you." " So you are saying this all is happening just due to my Dad. I need to become strong to stop it." " No..no you are not weak. If you had to stay in too cold weather then you suffer with cold don't you?" " Yes." " Same way. If you forced to listen to those taunts then you will suffer too." " So I can become alright." " You are alright. You just need to learn how to handle this situation." " And you will teach me that. " " Sure and you must not say no to Tarun. He love you. Just trust him. He is not like your Dad." She smiled. Then she told Tarun that he should fix their marriage as soon as possible. Tarun smiled. After that they decided that they would not tell any one about this. While going out with her Tarun took her to psychiatrist few times. He also heard him. One day Prita said " I am sorry. I am spoiling your romance." " Not at all. I am feeling relaxed. You might have never sense but I want to kill myself when you started to say no to me. I have just dreamed about you whole time." " I am sorry." " No need to say that. Every thing is fine now. We just need to keep visiting psychiatrist for few days." Prita nodded and smiled.
