Leena's anniversary
Leena was so
happy about this new development in her life. She decided that she wanted to
celebrate her second anniversary in grand way & her husband Rakesh
immediately agreed. She worked for so many hours to get things as per her want.
She demanded everything & it was before her. This was success of her life
she was a great & powerful person. Rakesh was giving her so much strength
until now she was just dust for all but Rakesh made her an ideal person with
his money. Since Rakesh started throwing money, she became someone great for
entire world. They began to admire her on each day & night. She was so
special for all. She was careful while selecting return gifts. They must
impress all. It was essential for her to receive admiration & appreciation. She was working so hard
for such long time. She didn’t understand where she was going. She just wanted
to impress all. Her life was dependent on it. She knew that it wasn’t exactly
true but she felt that way. She was moving around. She began to arrange room in
beautiful way. She began to arrange all with surety. She managed to do all when
suddenly Rakesh appeared & declared “ I need to go to office for some
work.” She felt so upset. “ It’s our marriage anniversary! You are needed.” He
gave her his winning smile & said “ I know but we need to manage. Come on
you need that bungalow too. I am not doing this just for me. We both wanted
it.” It was true. She wanted to have luxuries. They married with ambition to
earn money. She kept thinking that she just needed to arrange money & she
felt that it wasn’t be painful. She began to think when she could enjoy all if
she didn’t get so tense. She smiled & said “ I understand. Your office is
very important.” Rakesh smiled. This time he was relaxed. He said slowly “
Thank God. You have so much understanding. Wives of other people take so many
doubts & issues. I felt you might act same way. Wives needed to understand
we are working so hard we can’t tell clients to wait.” She immediately nodded.
She began to feel superior than other wives so she was happy. She was trying so
hard for hours to get what she wanted & it was essential. She was working
best to make that party great. Then servants came. She explained all to them.
Everyone seemed to agree with her. After all he was earning so much money. She
arranged all. Then one by one guests started coming. She kept repeating same
facts to every guest. It became her routine. Then slowly music started. DJ
encouraged guests to dancing. One by one they began to dance. At beginning she
stood alone in nervous way. Now she
didn’t understand how did it look when she would cut cake alone. But she told
herself that it was fine. Then slowly one guest insisted that she needed to
join dance. They began to feel that she was looking symbol of sorrow. One guest
“Come on don’t be childish. Rakesh isn’t going to divorce you. If you keep
standing that people will doubt.” Remaining guests laughed but she got nervous.
She sensed that she needed to enjoy too. She laughed & she started to enjoy
party. She was careful that she must not dance with some male but she kept dancing with
different people. It kept doing on for hours. Soon she totally lost track of
time. Finally after midnight guests started going back. It was clearly
overnight party. All enjoyed it.
Rakesh was so confused
when he saw one unknown drunk man coming out of his house with his
distant cousin. He invited her but he never thought that she would bring such a
unknown man with her. Rakesh was expecting family gathering. But all crowd was
so different. He immediately went inside house. He was shocked to see Leena was
drunk. He knew that Leena drink but she drink too much. But this was totally
odd. He didn’t understand what he supposed to do. He worked for hours &
finally he returned home which was such a mess. He helped Leena to go to bed.
She slept on bed without changing clothes. She kept talking to him about
different meaningless things. He didn’t understand it for understand them. He
changed his clothes & went to sleep. He began to think that he married a
wrong woman. That was his thought before sleeping & he decided to keep it
in his mind forever. Next morning Leena woke up. She was so shocked &
guilty. She wasn’t supposed to act like that. She told herself that it was her
mistake. She immediately began cooking breakfast. She was feeling sick but she
knew that it was her mistake. She wasn’t going to complaint. She told herself
everything would become fine. Then Rakesh woke up. She immediately apologised.
But he immediately declared “ I don’t think you even have basic skills like
arranging parties. This is going to be so problematic. You don’t know anything
about any work.” She just kept looking towards her feet. She wanted to ask for
second chance but she didn’t. She was so
upset & stressed. She was not going to take risk. Rakesh “ I will call my
sister-in-law Tara. She will manage all. From beginning I wanted to stay in
joint family but they didn’t want to stay with us. They all wanted to tolerate
burdens.” She felt so sad. She was never brave one. She wanted to do things but
her parents always told her to never try to do it all alone. She was trying so
hard but she knew that she couldn’t. She immediately nodded. After that she
told everything to Tara on mobile. Tara began to handle all her budget. Rakesh
kept all his financial sources to Tara. Leena kept agreeing to all. Leena was
so scared even to object or demand anything. She was nodding to all. Step by
step servants began to complaint. Tara wasn’t ready to provide increase in salary.
Leena was so nervous. She knew that Tara was running some business too so Tara
was earning & Leena wasn’t. Leena needed to give respect to Tara. Leena
knew that it was important for her. Leena began to live her life the way they
told. She was expecting Rakesh to be happy but he was never happy with her. She
was just burden in his eyes. Sometimes she felt as if Rakesh wanted to marry
someone else but he forced to marry her.
That girl might had rejected him due to his financial situation. Rakesh
was financially nice but if she began to think about rich & successful
women, he admired surely, they would never admire him. He was not so talented.
He was great than her but not great than those women. So, he married her. She
felt so sad by this thought but she accepted it. She didn’t want to remain
unmarried. She wanted to become rich. She was rich now. Sometimes Tara
permitted her to give parties. She always remained careful since she didn’t
want to drink too much. She was nervous minded now a days. She didn’t understand
how differentiate right from wrong. She was so scared. She told herself to
remain positive.
Leena never
understood how much weight she managed to gain. She looked towards herself in
mirror. Rakesh suddenly spoke from behind. “I was hoping we might plan a baby
but the way you gain weight. It will problematic.” Rakesh always planned all
perfectly & she supposed to obey him. She nodded nervously to every word. It
was so problematic. She didn’t understand why did her life was moving in wrong
direction. She said “I need to visit Doctor.” “No. You need to stop eating so
much. Come on! You don’t need to waste money on doctor for such small task.” She
nodded nervously. She didn’t understand what she supposed to do but she nodded
any way. She began to get so restless. She decided that she would skip her
breakfast. She did all for Rakesh & didn’t cook anything for herself. She felt
that she wasn’t working so she didn’t exactly need to eat. Her servants kept
doing job. She kept relaxing but by evening she started to feel so sick that
with help of her servant she went to Doctor. Doctor checked her & asked “Are
you fasting today?” She felt so nervous. She couldn’t control her tears. She started
crying in odd way. She needed to control her tears. She kept feeling so upset. Doctor
slowly said to her “You need psychiatrist?” “For weight loss!” “You have mental
issues which are causing to this weight gain. I don’t feel your husband is
exactly cooperative.” “He needs to work hard.” “I am not blaming him. But you
have mental issues. He doesn’t have time to handle then he needs to use money
& appoint a psychiatrist to handle them.” She didn’t say anything. In evening
when Rakesh came, she told all to him. He just nodded. He said “No problem. Do whatever
you needed to do to make yourself normal.” She didn’t say anything. She just
nodded. She began to feel so nervous by everything. She went out of room. She called
psychiatrist & took appointment. She was so glad that psychiatrist appeared
nice & friendly person. She was so happy. She took appointment of next week.
Then Rakesh declared that Tara would come with her. She didn’t like idea but
she knew that she wasn’t capable of handling all. She immediately agreed. She did
all perfectly then she told servants to come early since she had appointment on
next day. Servants gave her odd look. She was telling in one week advance. But most of them told her to
remind them again. She nodded. For entire week she was trying to act her best. She
waited with patience. She wanted to feel positive in her soul. She felt psychiatrist
would do it. She knew that she wasn’t normal. Now she began to feel hope to
become normal. She was so happy.
Next week finally Tara came when Leena supposed to go to psychiatrist. Leena kept acting
in most obedient way. She wanted to visit psychiatrist. When she went inside,
she felt psychiatrist would count her defects. But psychiatrist told Tara to go
out. Tara didn’t want to still she didn’t have much options. Slowly psychiatrist
explained her that she needed to develop her world. Psychiatrist “It’s not about
money. It’s for your happiness.” She began to explain Rakesh didn’t objected. Psychiatrist
smiled & said “Great then start some classes let’s say why don’t you learn
to play some instrument?” She immediately agreed. She went home & asked Rakesh
about it. He immediately started to suggest to change psychiatrist. But she
kept pursuing finally he needed to give up. Slowly she began to feel more
relaxed. Rakesh kept getting upset. She slowly reduced weight but by that time
they both sensed that they were totally mismatch. She discussed with divorce. Rakesh
agreed nicely. She was happy & he was happy too. They were not just
suitable. But then she discussed it with psychiatrist. Psychiatrist said “He
was never interested in you why else he never came to visit here.” She nodded. She
once again began her life. She was scared at beginning but slowly step by step
she adjusted. One day she began to date one musician too. They decided to get
married. She stopped her treatment. This time when she gave party for second
anniversary her husband did all with her. They arranged all together & they
danced entire night happily.
