Adventure story 574. Rakesh's attitude

                                               Rakesh's attitude 

Rakesh was so happy that finally he got booking in that five star hotel for years. He was so pleased to get chance to stay there. It was his dream. He remembered how did his father used to work in small company against it. That small company had many accountants. His father was one of them. He used to go in that company few times. He used to watch out of that window for hours. He still remembered that day when he was watching this hotel. His father’s Boss came. This Boss was not owner just senior manager. Boss said “ You can’t eat in that hotel boy. Don’t dare to try it.” He gave angry look to Boss. Immediately Boss called his Dad. Boss began to tell how arrogant his Son was. It was so upsetting. His Dad didn’t listen to him. Rakesh didn’t do anything still they told him to apologise. He did it. He was so upset. He began to feel that he needed to prove himself. On that point he began to plan. He was thinking how wisely he managed to reach top of ladder. He did many wrong things but they didn’t matter in his eyes. He managed to get success & that was important. He was thinking about his success & on that point a small child a man dumped in him. He sensed that he son of rich man. He got all easily according him. He gave him angry look. Rakesh sensed immediately that this man needed to taught lesson. He didn’t knew much about that son of rich man but he knew one thing that since he was born rich. Rakesh hated all who got everything easily. According to Rakesh he got all too easily. “ Sorry” that man apologised immediately. Rakesh gave nice smile & said sweetly “ You have spent so much of your life in getting pampered that sadly you don’t understand importance of looking around while walking. I feel your servant might take care of keeping your road empty? Aren’t they Mr. Pradip?” Now Pradip looked nervous. Pradip felt that he did big mistake. He had small paper knife in his hand. He felt that might managed to hurt Rakesh. Pradip began to apologise. It was perfect moment for Rakesh. He managed to create big scene before people. All people who were around started to think Pradip was guilty. Actually Rakesh managed to dominate due to jealousy of people around . They all wanted to become like Pradip. Pradip just said “ Sorry” once again. Then Pradip went away. But after this during entire meeting Rakesh did his best to prove to all that Pradip managed to insult him intentionally. Rakesh knew that by this he managed to create negative atmosphere about Pradip. He wanted to defeat Pradip at any cost. Rakesh didn’t understand a person like Pradip who was not good for anything according to Rakesh managed to get big position. Rakesh just wanted to push him down from ladder. Rakesh was working so hard to do it while finally it was happy. On that day after working hard finally Rakesh managed to convince them that Pradip was useless & they needed change in Company. Rakesh knew that soon they all would start supporting him. Rakesh managed to instigate anger in their mind about Pradip. Rakesh worked so hard on it. Pradip kept ignoring it. Finally it was successful. Rakesh began to get hold on Company. On that day they all decided to give Rakesh chance in place of Pradip. One of member from committee decided to tell this to Pradip. Rakesh was expecting outburst from Pradip but Pradip felt totally willing. Rakesh didn’t like it. Rakesh began to think that Pradip must be planning something. He was eating in that hotel. He was finally getting what he dreamt. Few seconds ago Pradip even showed willingness to give him position he wanted. But he didn’t like it. He wanted to keep it with him. He wanted to feel happy but he was not. He began to think that he needed to remove Pradip’s total hold on Company. Pradip’s grandparents were rich people & they were actually founder of that company. They always got respect from everyone in old times. It was very important for him to remove that respect. He knew otherwise he would never able to take hold of Company. Rakesh didn’t like the way that Company was going generation after generations in same hands. He wanted chance. He was discussing it. He was so pleased by the way conversation going. He wanted Pradip & his entire family out of Company. He knew that his father’s Boss taunted him since Pradip’s grandparents owned that Company. Rakesh was targeted since Pradip was greater than him according to them. Rakesh kept convincing all. They kept agreeing. Finally that lunch was over & they went away. When Rakesh was about to go out. He offered Tip to waitress. That waitress admired him. But he sensed at same time other staff on reception was giving him angry look. He watched name. It was Nisha! He decided that he no longer wanted this Nisha to work. Nisha was so arrogant. Rakesh began to feel that she might be admirer of Pradip. He didn’t want her working there. He went out of hotel with artificial smile. He could hear people admiring him. He knew that he was great & famous. He just wanted that receptionist Nisha out of his way. Rakesh knew that she couldn’t cause harm to him. But he didn’t want her around. He began to feel that she might do something to protect Pradip. He wanted her to understand that she was nothing but a common girl. He decided that he needed to ask questions to hotel manager. Rakesh went in home. His wife Trupti was looking scared as she always did. He was so upset by this. He didn’t understand why did she needed to look so scared always. He wanted a brave wife. But he didn’t have one. He truly wanted to find just someone who could stay under him. Trupti came out running. Trupti asked nicely “ What do you want?” “ What do you have? I hope cook that I have kept will manage to cook food properly for us?” Trupti sensed that it was taunt. She was not cooking herself. She knew that she needed to but Rakesh didn’t like items she could cook. He needed special items which only that cook would manage to do. She told him list of items that cook did for him. Every thing was done for him only. Many times Trupti hated that food which this cook prepared but she didn’t have much option. She smiled & welcomed him. He slowly smiled & said “ Today I already managed to eat so you can enjoy all that is cooked.” She wanted to argue but she didn’t. She knew that he was owner of this house. She didn’t understand what she supposed to do with food. But she just smiled & nodded. Rakesh went in his room. He didn’t even said “ Sorry” for forgetting. He didn’t feel it was needed. He just needed to get rid of that girl which was important for him. He could see spark in her.

     Nisha was working as replacement of her sister for just one day. Nisha didn’t like this job at all. Her sister Tina was obsessed about this job & Rakesh was impressive to her. While Nisha disliked him. To Nisha he seemed like bully. Nisha was not rich but she didn’t hate rich just because they inherited money! This was madness according to her. After all now that Rakesh became rich he was acting in such bad way with all. While Pradip was always friendly with other people, she wanted friendly rich person like Pradip. Nisha didn’t like bossy Rakesh. But she was never expecting that Rakesh would notice her. But Rakesh noticed her no doubt. Rakesh even gave her angry look. She didn’t understand cause. She didn’t say anything against him. She decided to ignore him totally. While Rakesh already managed to discuss with Hotel Manager about her. But Manager immediately told him that she was just working for one day. She wouldn’t return again in hotel. Rakesh pretended that he was happy but honestly he was not. He was totally upset by all. Rakesh wanted to control Nisha. He knew that Nisha would create trouble for him. But he knew that Nisha was not related to him or his business any way. But he wanted to destroy her. He desired to damage her or her future. He slowly began to search about her. Soon he sensed that Nisha didn’t have any big ambition. Nisha was living normal life without much ambitions. It shocked him when he sensed that he couldn’t control her. He knew that she was connected to Pradip some way. He began to search about them. But he didn’t find any connections. He knew that they were not connected but then why did she began to find way to justify Pradip. He could sense it in his eyes. He knew that he needed to give her some offers which might attract her towards him. He smiled. He began to think about all those women who were attracted to him. He managed to get many of them. Trupti was nothing before them. He married to her just because he wanted kids. He was waiting for them. If she didn’t give him son as he desired. He needed to find some other woman. He needed to find suitable woman. He needed someone who stayed under his thumb. But still he liked challenges. He suddenly began to dream Nisha as his new girl friend. He liked this idea. But he knew that it was not easy. He began to do inquiries about Nisha & soon he found out that she was not going to come near any man without marriage. It was her attitude. He noticed that she didn’t appear interested in boys who were asking for dates. It was clear that she was more interested in her hobbies than her marriage. He began to research on her. He enjoyed this challenge side by side with his business. He admired it. He didn’t forget to defeat Pradip too. He wanted to throw Pradip & his entire family out of business world. It was his ambition. They managed to hurt him. He didn’t understand why he needed to forgive them. He was going to punish Pradip for being..he didn’t understand what he supposed to say then he said slowly in his soul. “ So rich!” Pradip needed to get punished too. At same time Nisha deserved punishment for considering herself so high when she was nothing. Rakesh wanted them all to sense that he was better. He began to do his project but before it he called his junior. He gave him details of Nisha. “ Do inquiries of this girl?” His junior sounded confused. But they learnt to not question him so junior wrote down number & her details. Rakesh felt so happy. He wanted to dominate all. It was working since he began to appreciate his intelligence he was great. Nisha was so confused when she began to notice strange comments on her profile. She didn’t understand why some one connected to Rakesh trying to contact her! She was always careful regarding keeping herself away from Rakesh’s supporters. She began to get nervous step by step. She wanted to feel happy in her mind. But she was feeling hurt & upset by those continuous strange messages. She decided to block people. Slowly she managed to get rid of them. But she didn’t understand one thing why did they kept following her. It was odd. She never got so famous that people should start paying attention to her. Nisha decided to ignore those people. Rakesh’s people were searching about her but they didn’t find anything. Rakesh was busy in doing his Project. He was getting complete support from people. He was very happy about it. He totally forgot about Nisha. Pradip kept coming in office normal way. Pradip was not upset by losing his position. He accepted it normally. He just wanted more income for Company. But Rakesh couldn’t believe it. He kept feeling that someone was going to drag him down. He was totally sure that Pradip was planning something against it. He needed to investigate. He began to check all. He was sure that Nisha was some spy send on him by Pradip. Rakesh tried to send many girls like this on Pradip. But Pradip never took interest. Actually Rakesh was expecting something like scandal. But nothing came out. Pradip was very simple man with simple nature. Pradip didn’t have any desire of such a type of girls. Rakesh didn’t understand how could Pradip live like that. Then Rakesh decided to call him a loser. In eyes of Rakesh man who treated woman like clothes was proper man. Of course wife was needed but he always kept finding other girls too. He laughed at thought of honesty to wife. Trupti didn’t even expect it. She used to his affairs. Now a days she didn’t demand anything from him. He was happy to have such obedient wife. He decided that he needed to know all about this Nisha. He knew that Nisha must be connected to Pradip. He was sure about it. He decided that he would prove it. He worked for entire night as he always did. He didn’t need sleep that much. He could handle in few hours of sleep. He started to work hard.

    Pradip was so confused when someone started asking him about Nisha. He didn’t know anyone from this name. He never heard about her. Pradip never disliked Rakesh but he kept feeling that something was wrong with him. He was not sure what but now he began to sense that something was odd with him. Sometimes he just wanted to take break from him. But he belonged to Company he couldn’t quit it completely. Pradip was shocked when one friend told him that Rakesh was asking to every one what was his connection with Nisha. Pradip asked angrily “ Who the hell is this Nisha?” No one was giving him any logical reason. It was shocking. Next day during broad meeting suddenly Rakesh began to taunt him regarding Nisha. Now this was too much. Pradip decided to go ahead with direct approach. Pradip asked directly “ Who is Nisha?” All gave shocked look. Rakesh smiled & said “ I thought you will answer this!” “ But I don’t know any one by this name?!” Rakesh started laughing meaningfully then said “ Fine…fine..It is your personal issue..” now Pradip was so angry. Pradip screamed “ What personal issue? I don’t know anyone with this name!” Entire crowd of room was confused. Majority of people were devoted to Rakesh so they began to claim that Pradip knew Nisha. But no one knew anything about her. Finally they shifted to business. Then when they all went out, Pradip began to show his frustration. He started to get upset. Pradip “ Who is this Nisha?” His friend came near him & said “ Actually I feel Rakesh have some mental trouble. But who will believe us!” “ But he can’t just carry on like this?” “ I know but you denied it. Now they need to believe you! If they didn’t we can’t do anything about it. Can we?” Pradip turned head in negative way. Pradip decided to ignore for sometime they all kept discussing Nisha then they forgot about her. But no one blamed Rakesh. Pradip began to sense that something was odd with him. Rakesh as trying to search for Nisha every day while Nisha was already planning to shift abroad. Actually her parents fixed her marriage. Nisha didn’t took any interest in Rakesh’s offers. Rakesh was sure that she would come back. Rakesh wanted her to confess her love towards Pradip which was actually impossible since she didn’t love him. She got married with boy her parents choose since she didn’t want Rakesh to contact her again & again. She was scared of his obsession. Nisha always blamed her sister for putting her in this mess. Finally Nisha got married. Nisha even changed her name after marriage. She became Anandi. So Rakesh couldn’t able to locate her. Everywhere Rakesh was getting success in convincing people but he couldn’t get true success. Now he was so frustrated. He just wanted to find some way to throw Pradip out of company. He kept searching for Nisha. One day finally he began to argue with Pradip about it. Pradip was so frustrated. Pradip didn’t understand what this person was discussing. Pradip just went out of room. Pradip kept doing his job. Pradip knew that they would never found Nisha but still Rakesh would keep convincing them. Pradip no longer cared about it. Soon those who believed Pradip began to sense something was wrong with Rakesh but they didn’t try to argue. As days went ahead Rakesh’s obsession kept increasing. He kept working harder & harder. He began to compromise his health. He didn’t listen to anyone. Trupti tried to tell him but he acted abusive with her. Rakesh began to eat without control. Clearly his eating habits started to create impact on him. But Rakesh didn’t care. In fact Rakesh was no longer interested in listening to anyone. Rakesh doing whatever he liked. It was managing to give quick & short routes to Company so they kept admiring until finally on one day there all hopes shattered. Company needed to pay heavy cost for their corrupt ways. Rakesh sensed that his idea were going in wrong way. He began to argue daily with Pradip without cause. Slowly all began to get upset. Finally one day Rakesh able to found Nisha. By that time she was mother of two kids & she didn’t have any connection with Pradip in her entire biodata. Rakesh was so shocked. First time he sensed that he imagined all. He cried loudly. He began to get restless. On that day Rakesh had his first Anxiety attack. Doctor advised him to take rest. Then slowly even Doctor tried to suggest Psychiatrist. But Rakesh kept denying. He started having nightmares. Slowly he sensed that he couldn’t avoid visit to Psychiatrist. Rakesh was sure that he was good person. He told all to Psychiatrist in his way. Psychiatrist listened to him. Then slowly Psychiatrist began to put questions before him. He began to sense where all went wrong. He started to get upset & restless. He wanted to cry for hours. After that day slowly Rakesh began to sense his Anxiety was his guilt. He began to act nicely with Trupti but soon he sensed that she was scared of him. He sensed that he managed to break that bond. So he suggested counselling to her. They went there. Slowly their relationship came on track. Rakesh didn’t change completely. He was still rough but at least now he was not insulting or bullying people without cause. Still he went after Pradip time to time. Trupti one day told about this to Psychiatrist. Psychiatrist said “ I reduced his wrong attitude but it’s his nature I can’t change him totally. You have two options. You can stay with him or divorce him.” Trupti waited for sometime then she said “ I go for Divorce.” Psychiatrist smiled. It was clear that he didn’t want to advise it but he was not against it. When Trupti suggested Divorce, she sensed that Rakesh was irritated by all counselling too. They decided to go in separate ways. Trupti went out of his life. Since she sensed one thing that she couldn’t change his nature. He no longer imagined things like bond between Pradip & Nisha but still he enjoyed harassing Pradip. Trupti disliked it so she went out of his life & she never turned back. Sometimes Rakesh felt sad but it was not so much that for her he could change his nature. He would remain same on each day.
