                       Carefully spoken words

Ravi was carefully calculating his every word. He was so scared that he might say something wrong & everything would go against him. His wife Lara began to look carefully towards him. He knew that even his parents were watching him in same way. He knew that he was wrong. He tried always to act carefully. He smiled nervously & asked “I need to do some work for my office. I like to use one room.” His parents gave him angry look. He immediately felt nervous. It was clear that they didn’t want to give room to him. He was working hard but still he was not earning enough. His dad said “I earned so much & everything is on my income. I want you to sense it & act accordingly.” Ravi nodded nervously. Ravi sensed that he couldn’t work in house. They were not planning to give room to him. He turned to go back when Lara declared “Remember one thing. You don’t need to visit my relatives. They might have big houses but they don’t belong to you.” He felt so ashamed. His life was not moving in right way. He always kept getting in troubles. He was trying so hard to earn more. Last time he planned to invest in one business but he couldn't  find much capital. All his partners were his friends but they already made it clear that they needed  everyone to bring money. It would have looked odd to demand loan. Still, he tried to demand it. But no one gave him anything. So, he didn’t become part of that deal. He still felt sad about it. He wanted to prove himself but it was not working. He didn’t manage to enter in that business. His office earnings were nothing. He felt so sad. He needed to work for it he needed some privacy. He began to feel so hopeless. He didn’t understand what he supposed to do. He needed some money to start business which he never got now he needed some place to keep work to at least get some increments but it was impossible too. Life was turning in completely wrong way. He was feeling so negative. He didn’t say anything. Since he could see everyone in that room was against him. They all felt that he was useless person. He began to get so negative. He needed some help but he didn’t dare to ask for it. His parents immediately began to abuse him. His father told him long ago that he needed to manage all on his own. He was trying it his best. But he knew one thing that he couldn’t manage without backup. He needed help. His all friends got help & he was only one without it. But he didn’t dare to mention it. He knew that all would just blame him. He was wrong in their eyes. They didn’t understand his problems at all.

         Lara was watching Ravi carefully. She was so happy when he got nervous. She never wanted to marry him but she was stuck in this unwanted marriage. Lara wanted to marry her friend from office. They used to go for lunch every day. They had group but they used to sit on separate table. It was different. It was not just her view that they were in love entire office staff felt same way. But he never proposed her. Then one day he distributed his wedding invitation. She was also invited. She accepted it with smile. She looked in his eyes for sign of guilty. She couldn’t see any. It was clear that she was loving him one sided. She smiled. She didn’t even confess. She pretended that she never loved him. But after that Lara didn’t see much option for her marriage. Most of the people knew about Lara & friend of her office. He got married but she couldn’t able to find anyone after him. They all kept taunting about him. Finally, she found Ravi. Ravi was just one stupid man in her view. He married her without question. He always obeyed everyone. She didn’t like him at all. But her parents wanted her to get married. Everyone was talking about her. She needed to just find one husband & she married Ravi. But she hated him. She never wanted to be with him. When Ravi’s parents taunted him, she felt so happy. She wanted to humiliate him. She never wanted to marry him still since he agreed to marry her parents forced her to marry him. He was worst person for her. She didn’t want that compromise but her life forced her. She felt so sad. She began to think in different ways about her future.  She was so nervous. Even today after her marriage she remembered that day when she said yes to Ravi. Ravi was happy but she was sad. Ravi noticed it but he decided to ignore. He was so selfish. His attitude was so self-centered. He had chosen to ignore her feelings & she was going to make him pay for it in his entire life. They were married for two years. But she still didn’t want child. She needed want to become mother. She was so suffocated. She noticed that he was panicking about his work. She wanted him to panic. She wanted him to cry. She was observing. She noticed that he was upset. She knew that after sometime there would be tears in his eyes. She was happy by thinking about it. She just hated him. She kept looking towards him carefully.

        Ravi was so nervous. He was walking very carefully. He could sense that Lara was watching him. He didn’t understand why. He didn’t do anything to upset her. He tried his best to keep her happy. He knew that she was not so happy when they got married. But he felt slowly she would start loving him. He loved Lara & Lara’s father was such pleasant man. He could get lots of help from him. Even today Lara’s father helped him in every way. Lara was telling him to not visit her parents but he knew that her parents always admired him. But now she told him not to go so he couldn’t. Then he remembered that key of empty bungalow given by his grandfather. It was one small house. It clearly needed lots of painting & interior but he never spent anything on it. It was his house so his father never took any interest in keeping it perfect. He decided to go there. He smiled happily. He slowly took out his small bag & took some of his essential things for work. He smiled & told Lara “I will go in that old house of Grandfather & work.” Lara smiled happily. She didn’t want to spend time with him so this was great arrangement. But she pretended to look frustrated & told to her “As you wish!” Ravi nodded & went away. He noticed one thing that no one minded. They were not interested in keeping him inside house. He just went out. He slowly started to walking towards that old house. It was not far away. He could easily walk. He went there. He began to work. Lara was happy at beginning. She felt that she would feel relief. But she didn’t. Slowly that room started to scare her. She began to different shapes of shadows on wall. She looked away from those walls. She slowly woke up again. She decided that she might needed to watch something on Laptop. She didn’t have TV in her room. She began to think that she needed to demand it from Ravi or she needed to ask it from her parents. She knew that her parent loved Ravi so much that they were always ready to reduce his financial burdens. She immediately called her mom. Her mom listened to her then slowly asked “Why Ravi is not in room?” She didn’t say anything. Then she slowly began to explain all. Her mom “What about visiting counsellor?” “Mom! I can’t able to sleep just on one night!” “One night! You are complaining about it again & again. Then you are not ready to become mother. There is issue...” Lara didn’t say anything. Lara sensed first time that this was her problem. She couldn’t get her old boyfriend back & she was not moving over him. She started to blame Ravi again. She began to tell her mom but her mom stopped her. Mom said in peaceful voice “Think about this! You need to help.” Lara disconnected call. But now shadow on wall began to dance more. She started to shiver & cry. She didn’t dare to say anything to Ravi but she took appointment of Psychiatrist. She was so scared. Then she waited for her number. She was feeling so tense. Finally, she went inside. She told all to Psychiatrist step by step. Then she asked “Do you feel my marriage is problem?” “No. Your first breakup is problem. You need to get over it.” She nodded. After that her treatment started. At beginning she was hiding it from Ravi. Then finally one day Ravi asked her angrily since he heard that she was going in some building again & again. She needed to confess. But Ravi took it positively. Slowly with support to each other they started their life once again after counselling. This time it worked properly. They began to love each other & they even shifted in that old house. Lara did interior with help of her parents. It was new start for them. After that they started together on every up & down of life. Now Ravi never needed to spoke carefully he just express his feelings & Lara always gave her suggestions. They laughed & argued together but they never spoke carefully with restrictions.

Adventure story. 740. Rejection

                                             Rejection

Shruti began to work on different types of food items. She was visiting her Auntie & she wanted to please her. She was so excited about it. Since she was going to impress all. Shruti was planning to marry  boy who was related to Auntie so she needed to impress her Auntie. It had become essential in their eyes. She was feeling so hopeful. She began to think about Sandip. He was so nice & gentle. She loved him. She had no doubt about it. Sandip was perfect for her. She began to imagine moments of her life with Sandip. She started to think with such positive attitude. Soon everything started to look like pleasant dream which had different sort of meaning in it. She began to think that with Sandip she would live her dream life. She could enjoy every moment. She began to cook & she started to hope for wonderful kitchen & different sort of dishes. She could feel their smell. She began to enjoy her skill. On that point her mom came in room. Her mom smiled sweetly but she could clearly see her mom was not happy. She knew that her mom had few doubts about it. Her mom never wanted her to marry Sandip. Once her mom told her that Sandip was not suitable. Her mom said that his entire family was selfish. Her mom said “Shruti I never liked his family. If his family is so selfish, how can he have nice morals?!” Shruti agreed too. Shruti decided to ignore too. But then slowly other relatives & his family began to talk with her sweetly. She felt so happy & positive about all.  She started to think that her first guess was wrong. She knew that Sandip’s parents were little bit bossy but they were of good towards her. She even took few clothes which Sandip’s mom had. Sandip’s mom said “These are very costly sarees gifted me by Sandip. I can’t just throw them away. But you can observe they are too bright for my age.” She smiled & took them. She was so happy. She felt that Sandip’s mom was treating like future daughter-in-law. After all a woman shared such costly sarees with only family member. She began to put them on shoulder & check out. It was so beautiful. Shruti was so happy. Shruti decided to take it. After that Sandip’s mom also showed some jewellery to Shruti. It was so nice. Shruti was feeling so positive. She decided immediately that Sandip was in love with her. Sandip’s mom was doing this since she wanted her as daughter-in-law so after this. She told mom that she felt Sandip’s family was nice. Her mom also got impressed by that saree. It was really beautiful. Shruti was so happy. After that Shruti started to wait for Sandip. He worked in abroad. He didn’t remain in touch with any relatives that much according to his mom so she didn’t feel that it was wrong when he didn’t answer her messages. He was just too busy.

          Shruti cooked wonderful food & served it to Auntie. She was hoping that Sandip’s mom would come too. But Sandip’s mom was not there. She slowly asked about Sandip’s mom. Auntie immediately declared “She is too busy. She is searching right sort of girl for Sandip.” Shruti was shocked. Shruti was expecting proposal from them. On at least some indication regarding sending proposal to them. But it was clear that they were not planning to make her daughter-in-law. It was frustrating. Shruti smiled nervously. She didn’t understand that why did Sandip’s mom gave that saree. She slowly mentioned that saree. Her Auntie smiled sweetly & said “She is nice lady. She had so many sarees. She always gifts them to girls whom she liked. You are such nice & beautiful girl.” Shruti smiled. She was happy since she got admired but slowly, she began to feel upset. She sensed that it was all her imagination. She slowly looked towards her dad. Her dad was happy. It was clear that these things were not creating effect on him. She began to feel that all were totally sure that Sandip was not going to marry her. It was just her imagination. She felt so sad. She controlled her tears & smiled. She began to serve what she had cooked. Suddenly her Auntie began to talk about her. Auntie “Shruti needed to settle down in career! It’s important.” “So true. She is not doing anything. She is just sitting in home.” They were eating all that she cooked for hours in kitchen while declaring she was useless. It was so upsetting. But then she sensed that they were suggesting about earning large sum. It was so upsetting. Shruti couldn’t able to earn so much. But then she began to sense that she didn’t need to feel so upset. She was not planning to marry Sandip any way. She was not so happy about it. She didn’t understand why did she imagined it. She knew one thing now. She needed to earn money that was important for her. She looked towards plates. This cooking was nice but she needed to earn. She slowly opened her mobile & began to search for jobs. She knew that she needed to find way. In few seconds she managed to find lots of opportunities. She began to wait. All guests were speaking & laughing. They were enjoying themselves but she was not one of them anymore. She was nodding but she was not interested. She wanted to observe what sort of answer she would get on her hope for job.

         Shruti’s mom was observing her. Shruti was no longer interested in talking with guests. Her mom felt that it was due to Auntie. Auntie always taunted Shruti. Mom decided that she needed to give break to Shruti so mom said “Shruti you said you need to work on something.” Shruti immediately smiled. Shruti “Yes. I need to practice for job interview.” Mom smiled happily. Dad looked towards Shruti with shock. But he didn’t say anything. He just kept looking towards her with angry look. Shruti knew that Dad wanted her to talk with guests. But she was ready or not. She wanted to find way to earn. Shruti just went in her room. She began to search for best way to earn more. She was no longer interested in marriage proposals. She knew that she needed money. She began to work on different ideas. Soon she started to find few ways. She was so happy. Sunita was laughing so loudly in her sleep. That Arun felt as if entire room was moving with earthquake. He knew. He needed to understand his mistakes but he couldn’t. He was just busy in thinking how right he was in his life. He wanted to think positively about his life but it was not happening. Arun was trying to find suitable girl for such a long time. But since his parents had issues in their marriage which went out of hand & even landed as news in paper every one considered him bad choice. It was so stressful for him. He tried to convince all that it was not his mistake but still they kept taunting him. He began to get so irritated by their opinions. He wanted someone who would appreciate him & marry him without objecting his situation. He tried so hard. Finally, one day Sunita came to date him. Sunita was good looking & she was interested just in financial status. She was more interested in money than anything else. She felt so upset when he discussed few loans he needed to take once. But she was happy when he said that he had already repaid them & earned double income. She smiled. She wanted secure income & he provided it to her. So, she began to date him. He felt that she was his perfect trophy wife so he began to show off her. It was perfect combination for them. He never understood why did she wanted to find a partner so desperately until he didn’t get married. Arun was sleeping on bed peacefully when he heard loud voice of laughing. He turned around. His beautiful wife Sunita was laughing in sleep. He smiled. It seemed romantic gesture to him. But slowly she began to talk. She was saying some odd words. He couldn’t make meaning out of them. He decided that it was just one of her nightmares. He closed his eyes & tried to sleep. She kept saying things in sleep. She continued talking. He knew that he needed to learn to sleep peacefully but it was not happening. She managed to upset him. He knew that talking in sleep was normal habit. Some people had it. Sunita had it too. He didn’t need to make something big out of it. He just decided to ignore her. But when he closed his eyes, he began to see scenes out of some horrible moments of his life. His memory turned in such negative way that he began journey of just negative side of his life. He always slept peacefully. He never faced nightmares in his life but due to Sunita’s talking he was having them. He knew that he supposed to love his wife. He decided that he needed to adjust. After all his parents went to that kind of divorce since none of them was adjusting so he was not going to make same mistake. He closed his eyes & tried to sleep. After that on every night he was doing same thing. Sunita laughed on every night same way. He couldn’t get positive thoughts in dream on every night. He was moving in wrong way he could clearly feel it.

         Sunita woke up in morning. She looked towards Arun with strange indifference. She married to him since she knew that her talking in sleep was big problem. Arun was not going to try for divorce after what happened with his parents. He was perfect bait for them. But she never thought that he would be such irritating person. Arun never fulfilled her wishes. He always remained man who avoided all arguments. He was not ready to fight for his more money & power. He kept feeling so troubled & nervous. Sunita slowly looked towards Arun & said “Have you thought about changing your job?” “Why? This one is great!” “Come on. You are not getting promotions for long time.” “I need some time. I am sure then I will get promotion.” “Oh! How long are you going to keep doing this?” “What?” “Waiting for promotions?!” Arun felt so nervous in his heart. He began to feel so inferior. He didn’t understand why did his life landed this way. First his parents got divorced which managed to get bad publicity now his wife was feeling so negative about him that he felt certain she regretted their marriage. She was not talking about Divorce but she was regretting this marriage. He looked nervously towards her. Arun said in small voice “I will start searching for new job.” Sunita smiled happily. Arun immediately began that task too. He was shocked when he got few interview calls. He was so excited. He started to work hard to get new job. Finally, Arun managed to get one job of large salary. He was so happy when he came home. Sunita seemed on top of the world. Finally, they felt as if they did right thing by getting married to each other. Sunita was so happy. But when time of night came, Arun started to get upset. He knew that he couldn’t able to sleep since Sunita would talk in sleep. It would be frustrating for him. He kept having nightmares due to her voices. He decided that he would try to adjust. But he couldn’t. Suddenly he sensed that he needed to concentrate on his work. He must get peaceful sleep. He said slowly “I think I need to study new things. I need to read & work. I can’t do it without light. Is it okay if I sleep in other room?”  Sunita smiled sweetly & said “Of course. You need to earn money. That’s most important. We can adjust other things.” He smiled & went in second bedroom. Luckily his house had two bedrooms. He knew that this change was created by his parents since they wanted to avoid arguments but it just increased distance between them. Now he was doing same thing. He was shifting in second bedroom. Suddenly he began to feel that he needed to change something.

       Sunita agreed that Arun could sleep in next bedroom. But she was confused. She sensed first time that she was already in love with Arun. She wanted money but she didn’t want to lose him. He was not so ambitious still for her he worked hard & got this new job. But now he left room. She began to feel that she managed to make him angry. Sometimes she pushed too much. Her mom often told her to go slow but she kept running fast in life. She never understood when she crossed those lines & started to hurt others. Now she needed to talk sweetly with Arun & manage to turn things in right way. She began to plan positively about all. She decided that tomorrow she would cook favorite dinner for Arun. She could do nice candle light dinner. They didn’t have much romance in life. It was creating issues for them. She began to think that she needed to prepare something. On that day Arun slept peacefully. He was so happy to get rid of those voices for one night. He went in new office happily. He did all work & came home. He was shocked when he saw Sunita arranged such beautiful candle light dinner for them. For first time she showed so much affection to him. He began to feel nervous. He knew that it must be since he got increase in salary. Suddenly he began to feel so negative. His wife Sunita was just interested in his money not him. Sunita smiled towards him. He began to feel guilty.  He slowly said “Why this?” “I felt I am running just after money. Romance is missing from our life. I start to think that I need to show my love. So, I found this way.” Arun smiled. He shivered. He didn’t want to sleep in bedroom. He loved her but her laughing in sleep was so negative. He couldn’t say it. He began to dislike her since he couldn’t sleep at nights. He didn’t want to go back to their bedroom again. He began to look around nervously. She started to look angry. Sunita screamed “What is it? You dislike me!” He didn’t say anything. He just decided to keep quiet. She continued “Do you have someone else?” She started crying. He began to feel so hurt. He didn’t want it to turn this way. He said in slow voice “I don’t have anyone else. I just don’t want to be with you.” “But why?” “I hate the way you laugh in night.” She looked so angry. She slapped him. He was so angry. He didn’t understand what he supposed to do. She just left him. In that night packed her bags in anger & she just left him. He was so shocked. He tried to call her but she didn’t answer his calls. He started to feel upset but he couldn’t pay attention to his personal life since he got new job. He knew that his marriage might not survive but he was getting appreciated by his Boss so he needed to make sure that his career must survive. He kept working hard. As days went ahead. He began to feel more stressed about his marriage. He decided to visit his wife’s parent’s house. When he came, he was so scared. He was expecting some angry reactions. But his father-in-law talked very nicely. He understood that Sunita already managed to find someone else on internet & she was happy to marry him. He smiled sweetly. But word of divorce scared him. He began to demand to talk with Sunita. He started to get nightmares again. Then finally he talked with doctor who suggested psychiatrist. He went there with hope to cancel his divorce. But Psychiatrist convinced him that he didn’t need to convince Sunita to stop divorce. He needed to convince himself to take it. Slowly step by step he got over that fear. He decided to go for Divorce. After all he never loved Sunita & she never loved him. He was happy with his career. He was no longer needed to run after promotion. He managed to start his slow & happy life. He was better of as divorcee than married man since he never loved his wife & his wife never loved him.
