Sheena's picnic
That day was full of sunlight. Sheena pushed away curtain. She wanted to face world with wonderful hope. She was so happy about it. She needed to feel that touch from mind. With every sunray she noticed fresh day. Today she was going on picnic with her family. She enjoyed picnics. She loved Sunlight. She was always scared of darkness. She didn't like to stay in dark. It might be due to some story of childhood she didn't know. But she always loved light. She never switched off lights of her room until sunlight didn't come inside. Sometimes she used so much light that it managed to irritate her parents. They didn't want her to waste electricity without cause. Her Mom was such a irritating person on these issue. If she saw one extra light, she immediately started to lacture. She always tried to save electricity but sometimes when she wanted to run to college it happened. She smiled slowly. Actually sometimes when she was thinking about Yogesh this happened. Yogesh was her boyfriend. She didn't tell it to parents. She knew that her parents would start to create issue. She knew that she should not cross limits. She was careful but still she knew that they would not understand. She was young and she wanted to finish her education first so she was not going to take risk to get pregnant and destroy all. And she knew very well if this happened next day she needed to get married to him. If he ran away then they would abort child and she would needed to marry someone else. They wouldn't let her fulfill ambition of career. She wanted to fulfill it. She knew Yogesh for long time. She was in love with him. She knew that he would never cheat her but still she was not going to take risk. She went on date but only public places. Still now in days she sensed that Yogesh was trying to come closer. She sometimes felt scared. She didn't want to lose her boyfriend but she wasn't ready to fulfill his demands. She needed to think about her future too. If she get too involved and became pregnant, she would suffer. It was okay for him but not for her. She knew that she needed to talk sweetly but she must keep distance. Life was so complicated. She needed to keep boyfriend since he seemed like nice boy but still he didn't seem nice enough to understand her situation. He had big ego which kept him far away from acting nice. She didn't understand his attitude. She heard her mobile ring. She searched in her room for mobile. Her room was in worst condition. She was choosing dresses for picnic last night. After packing them she was totally exhausted so she just kept remaining dresses on bed. Now her mobile was missing under them. She searched hard and found it. She saw Yogesh was calling. She felt so happy. She immediately took call. Yogesh "Where are you?" " I am going to picnic with my parents." " With your parents?" " Yes. My Dad is planning it for so many days. It seemed like centuries!!" She laughed. She wanted to sound funny. She felt that Yogesh would like her more if she kept cracking jokes. It used to work few days ago. But now she sensed that he was different. Yogesh " So when you are planning to come in my house?" " In your house?!! For what?" Yogesh kept quiet for long time. She was so confused. She kept saying " Hello" again and again. Then finally he spoke " Are you truly planning to become my girlfriend?!!" She was so shocked. She knew that he was taking her to that track which he desired. She decided to tell him in straight way. " I am not planning to move ahead without marriage." " Ohh.." She was so upset. She didn't want to lose him. But she was not planning to destroy her life. Yogesh " Then let's just get over this friendship. I need break." She was shocked. But she knew that this was going to come. She took deep breath and said " You are right. We need a break." Now Yogesh sounded more angry. " So are you dating another boy?" This managed to anger her more than before. " No..but you want to find another girlfriend so I agreed to give you a chance to search for her." She didn't like the way this conversation going. It was so wrong. Once they were truly in love. Now their relationship was just forced relationship. They didn't share that binding which used to create positive impact on them. They used to smile once when they used to think about each other but now that bonding was missing. She decided that they truly needed a break. She took deep breath and said " I think we truly need a break. We need to think again about this." Yogesh didn't say anything. Then he slowly started talking " Fine. We will do break up." She didn't understand what did she supposed to feel. She didn't want to feel sad but she was feeling sorrow from inside. She didn't want feel anything about Yogesh. But still she missed that boyfriend who truly used to care about her. It was so upsetting. She didn't want to miss him. But she knew that she would. She was so happy that she was going to picnic. She needed change of air. She needed to feel happy. She was so frustrated. Yogesh didn't say anything and just disconnected her call. She waited peacefully with hope that her sorrows would reduce. She began to keep her clothes back in cupboard again. She needed to make her room decent before going to picnic. She looked at her picnic bag but she didn't feel that happiness. She was very sad. She couldn't express her sorrows to anyone since she didn't dare to confess her boyfriend before her parents. But he was existed and she knew that now he would find another girl. She was so upset. But she got out of room with smile. She pretended that everything was just perfect. She took out her bags. She began to plan her party game for picnic. She started to prepare all as if nothing was wrong. She started to pretend all with one hope that everything would be fine soon. She hoped that Yogesh would come to his senses and started acting like his old self. But somewhere in her heart she knew that it was not going to happen. She needed to find another boyfriend. She didn't want to be alone in college. She knew how did they taunt such girls behind their back. She needed a boyfriend.
Prachi was Sheena's childhood friend. They no longer belonged to same college. In fact they no longer thought same way. Prachi never understood why did Sheena's parents kept calling her to every picnic when Sheena was least interested. But Prachi liked to go out so she went with them. In those Picnics Prachi always sat with Sheena's Mom. They chatted and enjoyed themselves. Sheena's Mom was nice friendly lady. Prachi liked her. But Prachi knew that Sheena didn't like her Mom that much. Actually Auntie kept giving advice. But Prachi liked them. Today once again Prachi was called for picnic by Sheena's parents. Prachi agreed. Prachi did her packing when her mobile rang. She saw her best friend Tina was calling. She sat on bench with Tina in college. They both shared every thing with each other. She knew that Tina was calling to share some gossip which would entertain her. She wanted to invite Tina to this picnic too. But sadly it was not possible for her. She knew that all was arranged by Sheena's parents and she should not invite any one who was not connected to Sheena. Tina had nothing common with Sheena. In fact Sheena always hated Tina's face. Tina was scholar who liked to discuss intellectual topics and Sheena hated it. Prachi didn't understand what was wrong in listening to it. But she knew that Sheena dislike her so she didn't invite Tina. Prachi knew that if she called Tina Sheena would clearly start to show her dislike and it would embarrassing to all. She wanted to chat with Tina before going to Picnic so she took call excitedly. Tina screamed on mobile " Did you notice Facebook page of Yogesh!" Prachi was so frustrated. Why did she waste her time on such things? She had busy schedule and she was least interested in Sheena's boyfriend. In fact Prachi was least interested in anyone's romantic life. It was their personal problem. But she knew that Tina was not going to stop so she said " You know I am not interested in this discussions but still if you want to discuss then just tell me." " Well Yogesh is no longer Sheena's boyfriend." Now this was news for Prachi. Prachi knew that Sheena was totally involved in Yogesh. But Prachi decided to pretend that she knew nothing. Prachi " Sheena's boyfriend? Do you know him?" Prachi knew very well that he was rival of Tina during many debate competition. But Tina always managed to win debate. It was so frustrating for Sheena. She didn't want Tina keep telling that her boyfriend Yogesh was losing every debate specially when Sheena didn't able to take her side. Sheena was so frustrated. But now Sheena decided to quit her boyfriend it was something shocking. Prachi was so confused. Now Prachi was so sure that she didn't want to go to picnic. She knew that Sheena was going to be upset and it would create impact on her. She was so nervous. She didn't understand what would be perfect excuse to avoid. She started thinking of them while Tina kept telling her how did she informed by her friend about this Yogesh. Prachi " I think I must not go to Picnic." " No..no you must not do it. Sheena would take it wrong way. Just go and be nice." She was about to do further discussion when her Mom called " Car is waiting for you." She had no option. She said bye and ran out with bag. She went near car. She saw Sheena was inside as excited as always. Sheena looked so normal. She felt that Tina might be confused. But Prachi felt that she didn't know it was easily possible that Sheena just wanted to get rid of Yogesh. Sheena was singing on top her lung. First time Sheena was talking with her Mom and sharing jokes. Prachi felt happy about it. But she was irritated too. Now she was alone. Then she started to look in mobile. She began to get many messages. She started to watch screen of mobile again and again. She was getting so frustrated when she suddenly saw message from Tina. She knew that Sheena didn't like Tina but during picnic she could surely watch message. She opened message of Tina. She was shocked to see her picture with Sheena and Yogesh. She didn't remember it. But then she suddenly remembered that they clicked it on birthday party. But she didn't expected Yogesh to share it while announcing their break up. She was not part of this mess. But after seeing her picture every one would start assuming that she was cause. She immediately called Tina. She said in low voice " Why did he used my picture?!!" " No..no not just your picture. He shared every picture. He is creating big drama. He wanted to show off that Sheena left him. Prachi really didn't like the way things were moving. She was so scared. She didn't want to be part of this picnic. Then she saw suddenly Sheena's mobile rang. Sheena started watching. She could see anger in Sheena's eyes. Sheena looked angrily towards her as if it was all her mistake. She was so scared. She started avoiding looking towards Sheena. Suddenly Sheena's Mom started talking to her. Sheena's Mom " You are not talking much today Prachi?!!" Prachi " Actually I was thinking about my project." Sheena's Mom looked convinced. But Sheena gave strange smile. It seemed as if Sheena was blaming every thing on her. Prachi didn't understand why. She didn't done anything to harm her. She didn't even know what happened between Sheena and Yogesh. She was totally unrelated. But suddenly she sensed that Sheena was upset with her. She decided that during this entire trip she would stay away from Sheena. She would avoid her as much as possible. It was so upsetting. She regretted her decision of going to trip. But then suddenly Sheena gave sweet smile. Sheena gave her one Chocolate bar and said " We are friends right?" She smiled and nodded. She was so happy that this Picnic was not going to increase her troubles. She needed Sheena's friendship to make this picnic successful. And she was glad that Sheena was doing it.
Sheena was so upset. She didn't want to see Prachi's face. But her Mom invited her. Prachi was like some pet dog to her. Prachi always got invited in every picnic and she always managed to appear. Prachi was never busy. She always had time for these picnics. She didn't understand why did Prachi needed to remain glued to them like that. Prachi could surely enjoy picnic on her own money. But still Prachi kept coming with them. It was just due her arrogant Hitler Dad who was not ready to give money. That man kept talking about his power etc but he never had any money to spend when situation arise. He needed to spend something on his house too. Prachi needed outing and her Mom needed company. Sheena never wanted to waste time on Mom. She wanted to plan her future. Sheena knew that she acted selfish but she didn't have much option. She needed to work hard to get success. She was trying hard to create contacts. She wanted a successful career. She was not sure which type of job she might get but it would be precious for her. She kept following every person who could give her chance. She knew that chance was need of that situation. She needed to search for job which would provide promising future for her. She took deep breath. She began to feel so hopeful about everything when she started to become popular in college. She decided to find boy who would look most promising for her career. She knew that she should not consider husband as ladder to sucess but it was her first thought. Then soon she sensed that her ladder to success was her professors not her boyfriend. She soon began to feel that those professors were truly guiding her. But then she began to get involved in Yogesh. He was famous boy of college. She knew that every girl around her was getting jealous. She wanted best. She decided that Yogesh was best since everyone wanted him. But now she was so confused. She knew that he was going to target her. He wanted her at any cost. She was not ready to submit to his desires. She was not even sure that he was truly in love with her any more. Yogesh was just targeting her to get her under his thumb. She never sensed when this started. It was perfect at beginning but slowly he started to advise her on her dresses. She was so happy by that attention. She felt that he cared for her. She never sensed that it was beginning of dominance. She was so happy but then step by step he started to pushing everything. He began to tell her that she needed to surrender his every demand. She wanted to left him. But she was not sure that she could get better man. She began to feel that every man was just like him. She was so upset and frustrated. She started to fulfill his demands in beginning. He started to convince her soon that they must move ahead in their relationship. One day Yogesh invited her on double date. Other couple was clearly modern. Soon she sensed that this girl was on her four or fifth boyfriend in fact she lost count. That girl was laughing on that matter. She sensed that this girl was always had relationship with every boy. They kept touching each other in inappropriate way before public. That hotel management was not even looking at them. Normally hotel staff requested to shift in private room on such occasions. But this hotel was different. Soon she sensed that this hotel was not reputated hotel. She sensed that Yogesh brought her there with just one purpose it was to force her to move ahead. She was so angry and upset. From that day she began to feel crack in their relationship. He was not interested in getting education or finding job. He was just interested in having her. She was so frustrated. Today she noticed that he started his irritating plans again. She saw that he was claiming that she destroyed his life and sending her pictures. But what she hated most that she send one picture with Prachi. She never discussed him with Prachi. She wanted to keep Prachi out of it. She was so upset. Then she suddenly understood all. She began to look carefully at Prachi. Then she understood. Prachi was wearing exactly dress he suggested. Prachi was doing everything he advised. She knew now where did he was planning to find his next date. It was Prachi. Then she suddenly began to feel confused. She started to think that he might just wanted her to be jealous. She couldn't believe that he would left her for stupid Prachi. But then she began to look at Prachi. She could clearly see her mother was enchanted by her sweet talking. She knew that Prachi had her special skill of talking sweetly to people. She was so confused. But then she needed to get over Yogesh. Still she kept watching Prachi. She wanted revenge on her. She didn't understand cause but she knew one thing that she hated face of Prachi. She would surely manage some way to get revenge on her. She needed to get it. She needed to plan. She smiled in her own thoughts. She knew that if she planned to get revenge then she would surely get it. She was so sure about it. She began to understand all. She started watching that picture which posted by Yogesh. Someone sent it to her. It was warning for her but it was not helping. It was hurting her soul. She began to remember after clicking this picture they fought first time. He tried to tell her that she must stay with him that day. Her parents were calling her. She didn't want to spend night with him. It was first time when she started to doubt his intentions. She began to feel that he was not planning to marry her. She was not sure that he was truly in love with her. Her professor was insisting that she must start new course. She must concentrate on her career. She had bright future according to her professor but Yogesh wanted her to spend time with him. She knew that where he wanted to lead her life. She looked at Prachi. She sensed that Yogesh was not evil Prachi taught this to him. But she didn't understand where. Then she understood all. Prachi must managed to make contact with him when he went to debate with Tina. Tina was Prachi's best friend. She was not planning to forgive Prachi. She would surely took revenge. She planned everything. She was so happy.
Prachi was glad when Sheena's Mom started talking with her. Prachi did not like look in Sheena's eyes. Prachi was Sheena's childhood friend so she knew very well about looks in her eyes. She was so confused. She knew that Sheena was planning something sinister. She didn't want to go to that picnic. Prachi wanted to go back. She remembered how did Sheena managed to break her doll when Prachi used her lipstick by mistake. But Prachi never went near Yogesh except at time of this photo. Prachi shivered. Prachi didn't want to take risk. Prachi started planning. Prachi got wonderful idea. She messaged her Mom and told her to call her and say that her relative was sick so she must come back for last moments. Then she started shivering. She was feeling so scared. She was not so sure that her Mom would read message. She started cursing her Mom for her negligence when Mobile rang. She took call. Mom " What happened?" She immediately started pretending. " What he is dying?" She began to shake. She tried to pretend her best. Then she turned to Uncle " Please stop car. I need to go back. My Uncle is dying. It's his last moments." She tried to shiver but she couldn't. Sheena was already giving angry look. Sheena sensed that it was drama but Sheena's parents were convinced. " I need to go back. Just drop me. I will take cab." " No..no we will drop you home." Sheena " I feel we might cancel Picnic and just go to hospital?!!" Sheena's parents were so happy and shocked. Prachi started to feel so scared. But before she could protest Uncle said " We have booked all. They will not permit us inside hospital anyway to visit unknown person." Prachi " No..no.. don't spoil your day. Go I will call cab." Sheena's Dad " I will book one." Then Sheena's Dad booked. They waited in road corner until that cab didn't come entire time Prachi kept apologising. Prachi never sensed when Sheena took hold of her luggage. She shivered when she sensed that Sheena had her luggage and her water bottle. She was so happy that she was going back home. When that cab came, Prachi immediately ran in it. She took breath of relief since she was going back to her home. She was feeling so scared. She opened water bottle without thought and then she looked inside. She screamed loudly. Driver stopped car and liquid of water bottle was about to fall in her lap. But she just threw it away on seat. But few drops fall on her dress they burnt her skin. No doubt it was acid. Sheena was medical student. She jumped out of Cab started screaming for help. Driver called Cops and ambulance. She was not much burn luckily but cab was destroyed completely. Her parents were called in hospital and Cops came. Cop " Who gave you this water bottle?" Her Mom " I gave it in morning for picnic but it was full of water." Cop " Where did you kept it?" " In my friend's Cab. We are going for picnic but I came back." "Why?" Now she didn't want to lie to Cop so she took deep breath and told " Because my friend Sheena had strange look in her eyes." " Strange look?" "Sheena is my friend of childhood we go to different colleges now. But from childhood she had one habit... I don't want I suppose to call it. But whenever she had this look. She harm someone." Cop looked shocked. Cop " Did you done this before?" " Well!! Not to me. But another girl in classroom found frog in her lunch box." Cop nodded. They told Prachi's parents to keep her away from Sheena. Her Mom decided to send her to Auntie's house for few days after recovery. Prachi was not hurt too much. But she was so scared. While Sheena was enjoying picnic, she was playing ball with her Mom. She was in best mood. She knew that whenever she took revenge like that her mood cheered up. She planned to target Yogesh too. But she needed plan for it. She was so happy. Then she suddenly located Police van. She shivered with fear. She knew that it was not possible but still she felt so scared. Then her worst nightmare became true. Cops took her in custody. They arrested her. At beginning she tried to lie. She tried to tell them that she didn't do anything then she sensed that it was meaningless. She confessed " She took my boyfriend." "Boyfriend?" " Yes. She was dating him behind my back." Cops started inquiring. Sheena felt happy about it. That jail was horrible but she was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't sense anything. Cops started inquiring. Then soon they sensed that Prachi was not ever connected to Yogesh except one picture. Then they made contact with Yogesh. Soon they sensed that Yogesh was very selfish boy. He was never planning to marry Sheena. He just wanted her to fulfill his desires. He was nothing good. He was just playboy. But while discussing with Yogesh they sensed that Sheena had some look in eyes which scared him too. Cops sensed one thing. Something was wrong with Sheena. They decided to consult psychiatrist about it. Her parents came with lawyer. They told Cops that they wanted to take away their daughter. Cop " Do you ever notice any mental trouble in your daughter?" Both parents denied. It seemed as if she never showed any signs to her parents.
Sheena was so alone and lonely in her thoughts. That day psychiatrist came to talk with her. She told him everything. Then psychiatrist talked with Cops. Psychiatrist " I feel she is suffering from Paranoid disorder. She kept feeling suspicious of everything. It increased due to Yogesh since he was most horrible person of her life. He tried to monopolize her and use her. I feel she needed to admitted in hospital." Sheena's parents agreed. Slowly her Dad confessed that his Auntie had mental trouble but they never showed it before world. Sheena didn't mind going to that Hospital. She felt better there. She knew that no one could harm her there. She was so scared. She knew that Prachi would not steal her husband now. She was so happy. When she went inside her room, her Mom asked " Doctor will you able to cure her?" " Well only time will tell but she will surely get better and manage to live normal life.." Her Mom nodded. She said " Bye" to her daughter. But Sheena was still lost in her thoughts. She didn't pay attention. She was just so scared of all. She wanted to be safe in that room so she went inside room and closed her eyes.
