Loveless marriage
Charu was thinking about new plan in life. She wanted to do something nice to life. She always kept trying different things. She needed to plan different ideas. She needed to understand them. She wanted to prove herself. She knew that she could prove herself by thinking peacefully about all. She needed to feel relaxed. She was planning different sort of things. She began to sense challenge in life. She always loved challenges & she was going to get them now. She knew that she could find new challenge. She wanted to work hard on different ideas. She started to thought about unique different concept. She began to found resources which began to create new dream. She was so happy. She started searching in books. She didn’t understand why she felt that those pages would have answers but she felt that way. Rohit came in hall. He saw that Charu was searching for something. He didn’t understand what she was doing. He didn’t understand her attitude sometimes. She was so lost in her world. Rohit married to Charu through arranged marriage. Not exactly arranged marriage actually due to business proposal. He wanted capital his father had factory but not enough capital to complete big order which he got so he needed money so they began to find partner. But when they met Charu’s Dad they decided to marriage between children this way they both managed to run business in excellent way. Charu was involved in business but not normal & traditional one. She used to do business on her mood. She always kept doing odd sort of businesses. Sometimes they gave earnings but sometimes they didn’t gave them. He always encouraged her. For him money was not so important. He knew her Dad gave him money when he needed & he felt obliged for it. In his eyes she deserved all money she wanted. He couldn’t stop her. He smiled every time when she asked for some & gave it. But sometimes he felt scared. Since he noticed that she was involved in wrong sort of businesses which were risky for her. He didn’t want her to take risk. It was complicated. Today she was reading some mystery book. He knew that by it she would get inspiration of some business. He couldn’t tell which. He hoped that it would be something like hotel business. But as she started reading with full attention he began to doubt it. She suddenly stood up & told him “ I am going to join swimming class.” “ Swimming class? Why?” “ I want to become best swimmer. I like to learn swimming. I hope you don’t mind.” He nodded. He didn’t mind learning swimming. He felt this was great idea. “ Great idea. I like it. If you become best swimmer I can learn from you. Our entire house..” he suddenly stopped. Their house content of just two persons now. Once it was big family his parents & her parents both used to stay with them. They used to enjoy life. But slowly one by one they all died due to various health issues & basically due to old age. So now they were just two. Charu decided to ignore his comment. She knew that he was addicted to saying wrong thing on wrong time. Charu began to search where could she go for learning. Soon she found nice class in her locality. Then she called. She asked about procedures of admission & went away. Rohit was happy. He felt that finally his wife got some nice activity to keep herself engaged. She needed it. He was so scared that she would start something wrong which would manage to damage her in some way. But this time he liked her idea. She was doing safe things. She was doing something totally normal. He was Charu’s husband but their relationship was different. They were attached to each other through parents. He never chatted with her that much. Whenever he tried to talk something wrong just managed to come out of his mouth & he knew that he didn’t understand what he supposed to say. He knew that they didn’t have kids. They went to Doctors. They kept hoping to find solutions but it was not working. Sometimes he felt that Charu didn’t want kid but sometimes she began to cry after watching other ladies with their kids. He didn’t understand her desire. For him married life was so complicated. He just wanted his wife to remain happy. He wanted kids but he knew that they were trying. They needed to wait. Sometimes he began to think about adoption. But he was not sure that Charu would like it. Charu didn’t like to raise kid of other people. She wanted own kid. He once suggested it. Charu said “ I want my child & if it is not possible I want to enjoy my life as I am. I don’t want other people’s kids.” He was so shocked by harsh tone. He never thought Charu would think like that. But he decided to ignore subject. On that time his Mom was suggesting adoption of some kid which was from their relatives. Sometimes he felt that Charu didn’t want relative’s kid. His Mom was so angry. He always tried to keep his memories positive but towards end there were arguments. It was about child. He knew that at end no one was happy with arrangements. His parents wanted to live separately. But due to sudden heart attack his Mom died. Then his Dad stayed here only. His Dad was never interested in adoption etc. It was his Mom’s idea entirely. So all stayed together until his & her parents died. It was so stressful in end. He wished many times that his Mom shouldn’t have advised for adoption. Charu began to stay away from him more due to it. Their relationship was not perfect but it was never so damaged as it became after that incidence. Now he was scared to suggest anything to her. He didn’t understand what would be her reactions. He wanted to keep her happy. Now this would keep her busy & he could turn his attention to business. He didn’t want to feel tense. He wanted to feel relaxed. He was so happy in doing his business. He wanted to sense happiness. He was planning to do it all with concentration. He needed his success. He required to keep all his ideas intact. He wanted to plan all with peaceful mind but when Charu was around his mind never feel peaceful. Now he could concentrate on his work. He needed to plan all his future carefully. In personal life he didn’t have any success but in business world he was great.
Rohit was working on his proposal. Multiple people were chatting on video about it. Rohit was so happy & excited about it. His entire team was happy. Rohit began to think about different concepts that could be included. He started describing them. On that point he heard voice from outside. It seemed as if some child entered in house. He felt so confused. Then he thought Charu might had brought some child of neighbourhood with her. He just closed door tightly. He said on video chat “ Better to close it. Noise is coming.” All gave him confused look. He sensed that they didn’t heard it. He just decided to ignore it & went ahead with meeting. He began to get involved & totally forgot about voice. Finally after few hours meeting was over. He closed his laptop & went out of room. Then he went to kitchen. He began to make coffee. He felt nice smell of coffee. He was so refreshed. Then he suddenly remembered that child. He started searching for child. He didn’t find anyone in home. He didn’t understand. Then he suddenly looked towards balcony. He sensed that it was possible children might be playing in Society garden. He understood all. Children must be playing in garden. Children were making so loud voices. He didn’t understand why he heard it even in his room which was in corner. He felt so confused. He wanted to feel normal but he was feeling so upset. He didn’t accept that he heard voice from garden. It was impossible. He didn’t like it. He kept searching in house. He was feeling as if small child was still hiding inside house. He kept moving cushions. He moved sofas & tables. He knew that it was not possible that child could hiding for such long time. But still he kept searching. He received one shock when he saw small child actually hiding there. It was small girl. He asked her “ What are you doing here?” She showed small ball. He saw that one showpiece was broken. He smiled. He said “ It’s okay. Take that ball & go.” That small girl took ball & ran away. He managed to clean that showpiece. He went back to his coffee & his daily routine. He didn’t feel anything important happened. He returned to his work. After sometime he heard angry scream. He came out. Charu was calling him. “ What happened?” “ Where is that statue?” He felt so nervous now. Charu was clearly attached to it. He said slowly “ I am so sorry. I broke it by mistake.” She gave him angry look. Her eyes were literally burning with fire. He said once again “ Sorry. I will not do it again.” She kept looking towards him with anger. But slowly she looked away. She went in her room. He was so relieved. On that point door bell rang. He was so confused. He went to open door. Charu immediately came out too. He opened door without second thought. That small girl was standing with woman who seemed like her Mom. It was so frustrating. He didn’t want to tell truth to Charu. It was so upsetting. But that girl’s Mom came towards Charu & said “ I am so sorry. My daughter managed to break your showpiece. It must be costly.” Suddenly Charu smiled. Charu went inside. Charu brought big chocolate bar for that little girl who was crying. “ It’s alright.” She turned towards Rohit & said “ Someone supposed to keep windows closed.” Rohit gave nervous smile. Mom of that small girl “ Actually it’s not your husband’s mistake. My girl is so naughty.” “ I know kids always act naughty. It’s okay.” Then they went away. As soon as door closed Charu smiled & said “ That’s why I never want kid in this house.” “ Come on. These things are not big issue.” She gave him angry look again. He decided to go in this room. He sensed that she didn’t want a child. But then in few seconds she came back. “ You are right! We might need to call that girl in home.” She suddenly became obsessed with child. She began to talk about decorating house for that girl. He began to sense that she was not thinking about that girl. She was thinking about her own child. He was never close to her. He didn’t understand how did he supposed to handle her. He was never so close to her. It was so odd that even after spending so much life with his wife he was not close to her. Charu was always involved in her world. She needed to feel happy in her heart. She was not feeling that way. She kept thinking negatively & Rohit could see it on her face. He kept avoiding directly telling her anything. It was becoming scary. He knew that she was acting odd. He needed to discuss on some point. But he decided to avoid. He just smiled & said “ Let’s plan party one day.” Then Charu looked towards him & said “ But that girl will do party with her Mom. I don’t like children.” Charu went in her room. He was so confused. He didn’t understand what exactly Charu wanted. He tried his best to act nice but he began to feel so upset. He didn’t understand what he supposed to do. He slowly went towards their room. It was their room. But he always felt as if it was her room. He always kept all as per her style. He created his room in study. He worked there. Sometimes he even sleep there on coach. At beginning after work he always used to come back in their room. But one day he fall asleep before laptop. He woke up in morning & sensed that Charu didn’t notice. He went back in their room. She was doing all regular things. She didn’t mind that he was missing. He felt hurt. He wanted her to sense his existence but she didn’t. For her life was concentrated on just her thoughts. She was always lost in her world. It was so upsetting for their married life. They never enjoyed happy married life. But he managed to adjust with it. He was so happy to have such nice life. But he was feeling so stressed after death of his parents & his in-laws. Their bond was totally broken. They were no longer together in any way. It was so frustrating. Sometime he thought that they might needed to just get divorced. He wanted to discuss it. But he knew that he couldn’t while thinking this he went in room & she declared “ Maybe we should take Divorce?” He smiled happily without considering her feeling & said “ Yes.”
Charu was so upset. She knew from beginning he was not interested in her. He just wanted one child. He kept tolerating her just due to his parents or her parents. She felt plenty of times he loved her parents more than her. He married her since he liked her father’s attitude & he needed Capital too. Charu didn’t understand what was true cause of marriage? Sometimes she felt that it was just money. She needed to accept it. She was so upset when she began to think about it. From day one of their marriage she never loved him since he married her just for money. She knew it. She kept avoiding discussing it. Her father forced this marriage on her. Her father wanted him as his son-in-law. She never got much choice. Whenever she tried to date other boys, she was always discouraged. Her father kept telling her something bad about them. Slowly she began to think that she needed to date someone. Then her father introduced him. They just went out twice before their marriage fixed. She knew that it was not exactly dating but she couldn’t complaint. He was nice boy. He never objected anything she suggested. Then they got married. They didn’t have kids. She was sad at beginning but after sometime she sensed that her in-laws were so desperate to get grandchildren that her mother-in-law was even planning to bring new daughter-in-law. She heard once when she was outside door of her in-laws. Her mother-in-law was telling her father-in-law “ I don’t like that Charu. She is useless. She couldn’t even able to produce one baby. I talked with Doctor. She have problems.” “ Shh..her father gave large sum as capital. Rohit need it. He couldn’t manage to pay it back. Come on. Child is not so important. He can adopt it.” “ But all people will ask. Charu is not so beautiful too.” Charu was feeling so sad. She wanted to run away but her foot were stuck on that place. She couldn’t move. She felt so upset. She wanted to go back but she was nervous. She heard all their conversation. Her mother-in-law said “ But she is such burden. First not beautiful like Rohit’s first girlfriend!” “ Which?” “ Harsha!” “ Come on. She is just school friend.” “ But she was so beautiful. Her looks were so good.” “ shhh.. forget it now.” Then they both started talking about something else. She went away but that conversation always remained with her. She was no longer interested in having child. She didn’t want child from Rohit. She just wanted divorce. She didn’t took any interest in further treatment. She was not sure if it was possible for her to become mother or not but she no longer cared. She just wanted to..she didn’t understand what she wanted. Today she went in swimming class. She was trying so hard to relax. But she was not feeling okay. On that point teacher came. Teacher kept instructing her. Finally when she came out of water teacher come to her & said “ You might not like this but trust me. You need this. Your breathing was odd. You were having anxiety issues. At this point you don’t sense seriousness but then slowly you will sense it. You are having mental issues. Please visit this Doctor.” She didn’t say anything. She just took it. But when she came out she saw it was card of Psychiatrist. She was so angry. She was not mad. She just threw it away. But then she took it from dust. She teared it in pieces. All those pieces of paper shattered everywhere. She was so upset. She came home with full confidence. She was totally under control of her emotions. But when she saw that small girl. She knew that now she needed divorce. Now when she asked, he agreed with smile. She began to laugh. She started to laughing uncontrollably. He was so scared. He began to feel upset. He wanted to divorce her more now. He was so scared. He asked “ Are you alright?” She screamed on him “ Just take away all your things & go away from house. Go away. This is my money. Go away.” Rohit just nodded. He immediately started packing his bags. She didn’t object but she stopped laughing. Soon she took out one suitcase & started packing his things too. He didn’t argued soon he sensed that it was too much luggage. He called one Truck. Then with smile Charu gave all. She was acting in such way as if they were shifting together. Even security person helped them in shifting his items. Then finally she said “ Bye.” Then he went away. Rohit was so confused. He had not planned for place to keep this luggage. He asked his friend for emergency shifting. His friend was shocked. He was already in Truck so he had no option but to shift. He told his friend that it was emergency. So he just managed to get one empty house. He went there. House owner was clearly not happy with this emergency but he wanted good price so agreed. One lawyer was arranged to make documents. All was not happening immediately but he could stay. He shifted things temporarily in one room & made payment. Finally all went away. He remained alone with his friend. His friend asked “ What happened?” He hugged his friend & stared crying. Then step by step he told all. His friend told him to sit. His friend “ I feel you don’t need Divorce. You need Psychiatrist for your wife.” “ But she will not agree.” “ Come on call her & try.” He nodded. He started calling her. But she was not taking call. He suddenly began to feel scared. He decided to go back home. He went back. He kept knocking door for long time. She didn’t open. Finally he went to security & took extra key. He opened door. He started to search for her. Then he found her. She was sitting on chair. She was watching in nothing. Her eyes were empty. He tried to bring her in senses. She didn’t. Then suddenly she looked towards him & screamed “ Why did you come back?” She started to tell him to go away & throwing things. She was throwing away her favourite things. They all went out. Then Rohit called Doctor. Soon ambulance came there. Doctor & nurse took hold of her. She was given injection & take away. Rohit told neighbours “ She was on call when she had fit while talking so I came back.” All showed sympathy & told him to call them if he needed help. He nodded & ran after ambulance. Now he had two houses & his wife in hospital. He knew he miss managed all.
Rohit reached hospital. He was so scared. He was crying. This was worst. Then for long time he kept waiting. She was taken inside. He waited & just waited for hours. Finally Psychiatrist came to him & took him in his room. Psychiatrist smiled & offered water to him. Then Psychiatrist asked “ What happened?” He told him everything. Psychiatrist said “ Don’t worry. She will be fine. She needed to take treatment.” “ What happened to her?” “ I can’t tell you so easily. She have anger issues & depression too. She might have Anxiety issues too. I talked with her. It seemed that your parents were suggesting you had some affair with girl called Harsha!” “ Harsha!! No..no Mom wanted me to marry her since she was beautiful but I don’t like her. Mom forced me to date her in school days. You can’t even call it date. We chatted on Internet & few times we ate in hotels. Nothing more than that. I never loved anyone.” Psychiatrist smiled. “ That’s issue. You never love anyone not even Charu! Why?” “ I feel so nervous. She never liked me. But she felt you dislike her since you don’t have child due to her.” “ I am not so obsessed with child my Mom was. I like to have one but it’s okay if we can’t.” Psychiatrist “ Good. Then it is simple. I need to clear some misunderstandings in Charu’s mind.” Psychiatrist wrote down something. Then Psychiatrist said with smile “ I keep her here for week & then she will come back. She will be fine.” He nodded. He went back home. He was so scared. But after week Charu came back. She was normal. In fact their life started in better way. They began to move ahead like normal couples. They chatted & argued. They were discussed child. But one day finally Psychiatrist forced them to discuss it together. They came to conclusion that they didn’t want to adopt child. His Mom created negative impact on that matter. So they began to live their life happily as they managed it before.
