A story of cupboard
Trupti was arranging clothes. She was doing everything in proper colourwise her Madam instructed. She knew that her Madam wanted everything in perfect way. One shelf for Sir then second shelf for Madam then third for son and forth for daughter. Then she had to arrange them by colour. She wanted them to be perfect. Her Madam wanted every thing to look great. But Trupti never understood why did closet needed to look so great. She needed to keep closet as perfect as some place of worship. She never supposed to touch few areas of closet. She wasn't understanding her Madam's attitude. But she was getting wonderful payment so she arranged that cupboard every day. She was new on this job old maid Kamala entered and started dusting room. Kamala never talked much until now. But on that day she looked up. " So she keep you for that cupboard?" Trupti was confused. Trupti " Not for just cupboard I will work for three hours do whatever she asked for." Kamala started laughing. "What happened?" " She will never ask for anything else. That cupboard is enough." Trupti laughed " I like your joke. Three hours every day to clean just cupboard." Kalama gave her angry look. " Don't laugh about that cupboard like that with me. I don't want to lose my job because of you." She was so confused. " But this is just cupboard!!" " For you!! Not for madam. She respect it like sacred place." " But why?" " Good question but I never dared to ask this to our Madam. It seemed as if it had some special place in her heart. Forget her. It have place every one's heart except sir. He sometimes call it cupboard." " What? They have name for cupboard?" " Yes and not just normal name. A name of God." She was about to discuss something when daughter Urvashi came in room. " When you are planning to iron my top? Come on Kamala I am getting late." " Yes..yes." Kamala ran out of room. Urvashi gave stern look to Trupti and said " Kamala is old servant so we tolerate her little bit nonsense but you are new one. You must not get involved in her chitchat." " Sorry Madam." Trupti returned to her work but she felt it was strange. Kamala didn't seem woman who like to lie. She seemed like someone who loved gossiping. Trupti didn't understand what she supposed to do entire time. She slowly took out one dress. She looked at it with care. It was perfect but still she had to take it out and wash it. Since that was instruction she received today. First she had to put all clothes in cupboard as per instruction. Then she was told to remove clothes from Madam's section of cupboard. She was removing them. But her actions didn't make any sense. She felt as if she missed something. She decided that she must ask Urvashi about it. She slowly went outside and started to search for Urvashi. It was so confusing. House was created by two flats so there were many rooms. She didn't understand which room she supposed to knock. She knew one room belonged to their son Pavan. Pavan was strange boy. He was smart and handsome. He always talked nicely with others but when it came to servant his attitude changed to every time. He had special smile saved for those occasion. His most sinister evil smile. She couldn't imagine what would happen to her if she entered in his room. He could order her any thing as punishment. Normally he never came out until his parents didn't order. He remained in his room. Just one day she heard him in hall when Madam called him to tell. He must show section of his clothes which she supposed to clean. He showed them to her and gave sinister smile. Then slowly he came near her and said " Don't do any mistake with my clothes otherwise I will punish you." He tried to touch her but she managed to keep away and suddenly Madam entered. He looked scared. " What happened?" " I was explaining.." " No need to do that I have done everything in right way now go to your room." He nodded. But before going he gave her one meaningful smile and said " You must clean my room some day." " No it's not her duty Kamala will do it." He nodded and went away. Trupti was so scared. She even thought of leaving that job. She went home and told her husband everything. Pritam said " You can quit that job if you desire. You can go back to your old factory they will take you back in no time." " Yes but don't increase my salary for years. I work for at least for 10 hours but their salary was nothing." " For large salary you need to take large risk. Do you feel this boy can try to molest you? If you feel so then quit it." " No..no I feel just he might throw some dead rat in my bag. He is that kind of boy of school who loved scare their teacher to death and then put blame on other kids." Pritam started laughing. She also joined him. She didn't want to scare Pritam. She looked at her kids. They had big responsibility. They needed to complete education of kids and pay back loan which they took for house and other expenses. Loan was always like rope around neck one false step and it should hang you and she was determined not to take false step and damage future of her kids. She slowly began to sense that quitting job was that step. She decided to keep working. So she was today in this house with that boy, his sister Urvashi & Kamala. She began to regret her decision of not quitting job when she started searching Urvashi's room. She took deep breath and about to knock when Kamala took hold of her hand. Kamala " What are you doing? Don't knock. Come with me." Kamala was whispering slowly. Trupti sensed something was wrong and she decided to follow Kamala without argument. When finally they reached to room and stood before cupboard, Kamala said " Swear before me that you will not leave this cupboard like that again." Kamala was on verge of tears. Trupti decided to do thing to amuse her. Trupti promised her but she thought that it was just a joke nothing more. She just laughed about it.
Trupti did as per her instructions. Then she turned around. She was shocked to see Urvashi behind. Urvashi " I read sound of dryer. I hope you don't put delicate clothes in dryer." " No Madam just regular one." " Great now you can leave? " " Soon Madam?!!" Urvashi screamed on her in anger. " You are maid. Remember it and behave like it. Don't question your Boss." Trupti was shocked by this outburst. She was so upset but she knew that it was less work and big payment so she went away without questioning. But when she reached home, she started to feel so upset. She began to cry. It was so upsetting. Kids saw her crying which managed to upset them too. Pritam senesed it. Pritam " I think money is not more precious than kids. If you keep crying like that you are going to upset kids just quit that job." Trupti nodded. Next day she called her Madam. She told her that she didn't want that job. Madam was shocked. Madam " Stop this nonsense. You can't quit like that!!" " Why?" " What happened?" Madam suddenly changed track and Trupti sensed that she was playing game with her. But Trupti was smart enough to handle it. " Actually my kids are too small I can't spare three hours. " After hearing this answer Madam started to sound frustrated " What's wrong? You know it from beginning and you are lying now. Tell me what is wrong? Did my son misbehaved?" Trupti was shocked so her son had bad habit of misbehaving. She shivered with fear. " No..no I don't have any complaint. I just don't have time." That lady kept dragging issue. Finally she switched off mobile. She was so upset. She couldn't keep mobile close this way. She needed to block number so she started mobile. Immediately call of Madam came. She started to shiver in fear. It was so scary. She began to feel as if Madam could come out of that mobile and grab her hand. It was imagination but she felt it so real that she started to shiver so much that her mobile fall out of her hand. Her son came running towards it. He screamed loudly " Mom you have broken your mobile!!" She controlled herself. Then she once again started to join her mobile. But she could see crack on it's display screen. She sensed that this job proved too costly for her. She began to feel so scared. She sensed for few days she would remain without mobile. She didn't say anything. She just picked up pieces of mobile. Her son saw tears in her eyes. He assumed that it was due to mobile. He started consoling her. " Mom don't cry. It was not your mistake. Such things happen. Don't worry Dad will bring new one." She took him in arms and cried. Her elder daughter was in school so she didn't see it. Her son was too small. He just assumed that his Mom was crying for mobile like he cried for his mobile. He just kept consoling her. After sometime she became quiet. She became normal. She went in kitchen. She made breakfast for herself and her son. Then she cooked lunch. After that she started to clean house. When her daughter came home with her neighbour, she welcomed her with smile. Her neighbour " You don't went to work today. " " No. Actually my Boss was strange woman." " What happened?" She told her everything. "Strange why she cared so much for cupboard? I feel it have some treasure." " Treasure? I don't know. Any way I am not concerned about their money. I just want to be treated with respect. They never did it." While they were discussing this, they didn't sense their another neighbour Sunny was listening to their conversation. Sunny was so happy. He was hoping to find some shortcut to get wealth. It was before him. He just needed to rob that one house and he would be enjoying at few months if not years. He wanted a catch. His wife was screaming on him every day to bring money. He was father of four kids. But he didn't like any of them. His all kids were worst. They didn't have much brain. He knew it from beginning. But still his wife kept insisting that they must send them to school. In school he felt money wasted like water. They needed this and that. He wanted that money to be used for more useful purposes. But his wife always kept taunting on his drinking habits. She kept saying if he had money for alcohol why he didn't had it for education of kids. He was so upset by her. First she gave birth to stupid kids. He knew that it was because of her. He was so intelligent and smart. He couldn't give birth to such stupid kids. He knew that it was because of her. He was so angry when she commented on his spending habits. He started hitting her. He crossed his limits. His stupid kids went running to neighbour. Then they stopped him. Finally his wife landed in hospital so she could no longer provide him any money. His neighbour forced him to spend her savings in hospital. He didn't want to but he was scared of Police. Now his wife was fine. But she wasn't ready to give him money. Whenever he tried to argue, she just ran out of house. He couldn't dare to hit her in public. She used it very well. So he had to earn some money. He knew that it was about money. If he had money then no one dared to question him. He could get rid of his wife and her stupid kids. He wanted new wife. But he was not going to do it in directly. He needed to know address of Trupti's employer and for it he needed to make friendship with Pritam. But he knew Pritam hated him. He was first one to argue when he started to hit his wife. But then he found wonderful idea. He decided that he could pretend.
Sunny's wife Janvi was so happy when he bought small pack of biscuits for all. It was small but each kid got one biscuit. They were thrilled by this treat. For those kids every sign of affection from father was big matter. When Sunny bought biscuits for kids, they were so thrilled. He seemed as if he had bought heaven for them. Janvi was happy too. Sunny gave sweet smile to Janvi and sat beside her in kitchen. Sunny " You might feel I don't love kids but that is not true. I love you all. But you can see I am sitting here without job. It look so bad. Today I went in factory to work for daily wages and I manage to earn little bit money so bought biscuits out of them. Kids are so happy." Janvi was so happy. He was talking so sweetly with her. It was happening after so many days. When they were newly wed, he used to talk like that with her. But it was their past. It was long ago but today he once again seemed to fall in love with her. She was so happy. He took her hand and started admiring them. He could see burns on them but still he admired them. They were not useful to him if they didn't bring money in his home. Finally his Mom brought proposal for him. Janvi was not beautiful. She was ordinary looking girl but she belonged to family where she taught to earn from childhood. She could do any job to bring money. It was right decision at beginning but his Mom started insisting for kids. Then they took chance of first child and she started expecting money from him. She started planning for future of kid. She began to tell kid was most precious. He was so angry and upset. He wanted money from her. Then it was so frustrating. She was his nightmare even today she was admiring him with one motive. He wanted address of house were Trupti was working. Sunny " For earning money I need good job." Janvi nodded. She was so happy due to his sweet words that she was believing his every word. " I heard that Trupti was working in one house which was giving her good payment." " You can't steal job from her." " What? Are you out of your mind? I never steal." He said it with such emotion that Janvi started apologizing. He wanted to laugh but controlled himself. " She quit her job since employer was rude." " Then how could you adjust there? You are just hot headed person." He was so upset. " Just tell me place." She told him. He smiled and vanished. She was so confused. When he went away from her sight, she began to sense something was wrong. She decided that she must do something. She stood up to tell Trupti but she felt so scared. She didn't want them to inform police. She loved her husband. She just closed her door tight. Sunny searched for that house. He was already started dreaming about alcohol. He already started dreaming it's smell. He came near that house. It was isolated cottage surrounded by building. It was looking so lonely. He suddenly felt scared. But he controlled his fear and without any second thought he went near window. He started looking inside. He began watching. There was one young beautiful girl with wonderful figure. He smiled. He wanted something like that for long time. But he was not sure about course of action on that point. But then he opened window. He slowly went inside. He decided to go near that girl. He was not rapist so he decided not to go near her. He sensed his attraction towards her might jeopardize his mission. He decided that he must open cupboard first. He searched for window of room. Finally he saw window from which he could see cupboard. He started to going toward that cupboard. That cupboard started to protest. Then he suddenly sensed that something was wrong. That cupboard stopped protesting. He thought that cupboard was surrendering when he suddenly felt strange pain. His entire body started to shiver. He began to scream then light opened. He hugging a cupboard which was full of electrical wires. He began to feel paralyzed. Then he heard human laugh. A young boy was laughing on his agony. Pavan " So you are friend of that Trupti and she sent you for that cupbroad." Pavan went near him and on same point Urvashi was awake. She entered in room. Urvashi was laughing too. Sunny sensed that it was plan. Urvashi " Do you think we are stupid to keep window open like that?" She kicked him. But then she sensed that he was no longer alive. Urvashi " He is dead." Pavan " I know. But we can't call Police. They will want to check cupboard." Urvashi " I don't want Mom to know it. " Pavan smiled " Let's put him in cupboard." " What but Mom open it every day?" While they were discussing this, Sunny came to his senses. He was not dead and didn't want to die. He just ran towards window. Before they could stop he was out of that house. He went away as far as possible.
When Pavan saw him running away, he screamed on Urvashi " Did you saw his face?" " Yes of course." " He knew about cupboard. We must catch him." " I know otherwise Mom will kill us. But this is madness. Why we need to take so much care of that cupboard?" " I don't know. But I know one thing Mom would get angry. We need to meet that Trupti and tell her to never try this." " But I don't think she sent him. She was so talkative. He must have overheard her. Since he was searching rooms, he looked inside my room too. I heard voice and woke up. I don't open eyes fully. He was looking at me in strange way. I felt so glad that my window was double locked." " I don't like this at all. If Mom learn this their would be big issue." Urvashi nodded. They went out search for sometime. But they knew that it was useless. After sometime they went in room and slept. Urvashi couldn't sleep peacefully that night. Next day on table of breakfast their Mom declared that she was going to meet Trupti tomorrow. Pavan & Urvashi shivered. They wanted to hide it all. But when she talked about it then they felt that she knew it. Mom " What happened?" " Nothing." She gave angry look to kids when Dad entered . " Stop irritating kids." " Fine...fine it is always my mistake." Dad tried to smile and make whole issue funny. But they all knew that it was not funny. Pavan " I will come with you." " Why? I am not kid." Dad " But that area is unknown." She nodded. Then she went inside room. Dad " You know her trouble. Try to handle her." Urvashi " Dad she is acting so strange. She is spreading rumours about cupboard. Yesterday a thief came to rob us." Dad shivered. " Do you feel that Trupti told him? Or send him?" Urvashi " She didn't needed to send. That woman was so talkative. She couldn't hold her tongue. She didn't keep her mouth shut." " Now that is scary combination." Pavan " I tried my best to threaten her." Urvashi gave strange laugh and said "Really!! I thought you are firting with her." Pavan started laughing. Dad gave him angry look. " How dare you act like that!!" " Sorry Dad but she is so beautiful. She will make perfect daughter-in-law for you. Hi hi!!" Dad got angry and slapped him. " Don't you know you must respect woman who taught you this way." Pavan felt so much ashamed. " Sorry Dad. I thought it was joke." Urvashi " Treating woman like that is not joke." Dad " Due to your attitude she must have warn all against us." They all understood situation. Dad " Go with Mom and warn that maid. Urvashi you must join them." " I can't." " Why?!!" " Since I need to study. Remember my college. I need to study and create future. I can't run after your mad wife whole time." Then suddenly their Mom came in room like thunder. She hit Urvashi hard. Urvashi screamed in pain. Dad took hold of her. Mom started screaming " You are disobedient girl. You never value anything." Pavan took hold of her. Pavan"We need to go. Remember Trupti." Mom looked confused. " "Where?" Pavan was confused. He didn't understand what he supposed to say. If she forgot all about Trupti, they were so lucky. But then they turned in worst way. She remembered it all in wrong way. " Yes.. yes I remember. We kept that lady Trupti on work and she manage to steal so we kill her. Don't we.." She gave strange smile but then suddenly she started crying. " I don't want to land in jail." Dad patted on her shoulder. Pavan " I think. She needed psychiatrist again." Urvashi nodded. " Trupti is not providing good thing for us." Pavan nodded. But in few moments they were shocked when they saw their Mom outside again. She smiled and said " Let's go." Pavan nodded. Dad gave him tense look suggesting that he had manage all. He nodded. He could move around little bit to entertain her. But today he was most upset. A thief entered in house just because of her. But then he knew that it could be due to his attitude. He began to feel he needed treatment too. His Mom was managing to create impact on them all except Dad. Finally they went out. His Mom kept searching for long time. Finally she found that area where Trupti was living. They kept asking questions. Pavan could clearly sensed that people were getting upset. Finally they found that house. Actually it was more hut than house. They went there and started knocking on doors. Trupti opened it with smile. But after seeing them she shivered. Trupti " What do you want?" " Reason? Why you left job?" " I can. It is my choice." Pavan " Not if thief came to our house next day! Did you tell anyone about cupboard?" " Yes lot of people!!" Mom came towards her like some angry animal and took hold of her throat. Pavan had to work hard to separate her. Trupti was clearly hurt when she fall on ground. Many people gathered. Pavan was so tense. Trupti started to threatening with Police complaint. Pavan took hold of Mom and forced her to sit back in car. Then they went back to house again. Neighbors gathered around. Neighbour " Trupti someone might have overheard us." Leader of group who protected that area " Any way that woman will not permitted to come back again." It was decided that she would not come again. Trupti was shivering with fear. She regretted taking that job. She knew that they were lucky that they were not thrown out of locality after such drama. They hated argument and cops in their area. Every one was looking at her with anger except her friend who had sympathy in her eyes and checking her wounds on neck.
Trupti was so scared for entire day. She didn't dare to open door. But in few seconds some woman began to bang on door. She was shocked. She could not believe that Madam had returned. " Go away. I will not work for you." That woman screamed " I am not your Madam. I am Janvi your right side neighbour. I think my husband went there." Trupti was so angry and shocked. Trupti sensed that her notorious neighbour Sunny heard their conversation. Trupti opened door immediately. Trupti " Did you tell Sunny address?" She nodded. Janvi " And Sunny had not returned home?" Trupti shivered with fear. " I don't understand how could you stay with that horrible man?!!" He is my husband. I love him." Other man from locality " While he was ready to kill you. Even few days ago he was wandering with other girl I saw him. But she didn't show much interest so he had to return." Trupti " But he is married to Janvi." " Honesty is not part of his nature. He can lie to all." " But he is missing since last night." " My God Trupti do you feel your employer can harm him if they caught him?" " Yes. They can." Truthfully no one was waiting for Trupti's answer. They all saw way in which Trupti's Madam attacked her. " That woman was horrible. Let's go to Cops." They immediately went to Cop. Trupti joined them. She called Pritam and told him all. Pritam " I feel you must file complaint too. I don't want that woman again near our house." They all went Police station. Then cops wrote complaint. Cops saw wound around Trupti's neck. Cop " Did you went to Doctor?" Trupti " No. I was so scared. I just locked myself in house." " Then you must go ." She soon sensed even talking become effort. She nodded. Then she signed statement. After that she went to hospital in Cop's vehicle. Cop took address and immediately went there. They saw that Trupti's Madam was wandering around house like some animal. When Cop came, she went near him and started crying. " That thief entered in house and I killed him." Janvi started crying loudly. Cop " I need to arrest her." Her husband " Stop officer you can't trust her. She is not in sound mind." She began to scream like mad person " I am not mad." Every one around her sensed one thing that she was mad woman and even violent one. Cop sensed that she might attack her husband so Cop screamed " You can't lie like that to save wife." She smiled happily. She was clearly enjoying it. " We took him to hotel because he knew about cupboard. We ate lunch." Janvi " But he went at midnight." Cop gave her angry look. " Yes.. in midnight he entered in room and started touching me in wrong way. He began to rape me and then I found.." Trupti's Madam started to look confused. " I don't remember all. May be because of that rape." She started crying. " I felt so much pains. It was horrible." But her husband stopped her. " No need to describe it." She looked at him with anger. " You are feeling shame because your wife was raped. Now you hate to touch me." Then suddenly a Doctor came. That Doctor smiled. " You must go to hospital." " Yes we must punish rapist." Doctor looked confused. He just nodded. Then slowly he injected her. She fall asleep and they took her in ambulance. Cop " Doctor she is telling truth." Her husband " No. She was sound asleep entire night beside me." Urvashi " And that Sunny was trying to enter in my room but he entered in room of cupboard." " Why?" Then they told entire story. Pavan " So after getting that electric shock. He ran out of window." Doctor " I am psychiatrist and that woman is extreme case of schizophrenia. She is my patient for long time. It is all her imagination. But I will check her physically but I don't see any sign of rape in primary level." Cop nodded. Pavan " In case of that cupboard it was Mom's another imagination. You can go ahead and check it. If you wanted to." Doctor " You should have called me before." " Doctor, hospitalisation is not free. You know how much money we keep spending." " I know but it's not curable." They all nodded. Cop "But what if she hurt Trupti again?" Doctor " She is not psychopath. She might have took hold of Trupti's hold in anger but she never kill anyone." Cop " Really hard to believe." Doctor started laughing. " It was just drama. Trupti might be not injured that much." Cop decided to give call to Trupti. Doctor told them that it was red paint not blood. Cop started laughing. Doctor "Don't worry that Sunny will come back soon." Urvashi " No Officer you must worry about that man. He was totally intended to come in my room and rape me." Cop gave her confused look. " Don't assume me mad since my Mom is mad." Psychiatrist " She is totally sound. " Cop " Then I suggest you to file complaint." They nodded. Then Janvi screamed " Put him in jail. He was also hitting me." Every one nodded. Officer started to inform cops that they must catch Sunny not as victim but as culprit. Then Janvi went to hospital and told everything to Trupti. Trupti was immediately discharged since she was totally fine. Then Pavan came there with his family. Pavan " I am sorry. I played worst joke on you that day. My sister and father told me that it was cheap one." His head was down with shame. Trupti felt that he was just childish since he never actually touched her. " If you promise not to repeat, I will forgive and don't worry I took back that case." Urvashi " But can you join our job again. We will pay more. You know our situation in better way. Trust us our Mom will not kill you." They all started laughing. Since now they all knew that it was just red paint which used to scare Trupti. Trupti decided to work there again.

He had special smile saved for those occasion. His most sinister evil smile. She couldn't imagine what would happen to her if she entered in his room. He could order her any thing as punishment. Normally he never came out until his parents didn't order. He remained in his room. Just one day she heard him in hall when Madam called him to tell. He must show section of his clothes which she supposed to clean. He showed them to her and gave sinister smile. Then slowly he came near her and said " Don't do any mistake with my clothes otherwise I will punish you." He tried to touch her but she managed to keep away and suddenly Madam entered. He looked scared. " What happened?" " I was explaining.." " No need to do that I have done everything in right way now go to your room." He nodded. But before going he gave her one meaningful smile and said " You must clean my room some day." " No it's not her duty Kamala will do it." He nodded and went away. Trupti was so scared. She even thought of leaving that job. She went home and told her husband everything. Pritam said " You can quit that job if you desire. You can go back to your old factory they will take you back in no time." " Yes but don't increase my salary for years. I work for at least for 10 hours but their salary was nothing." " For large salary you need to take large risk. Do you feel this boy can try to molest you? If you feel so then quit it." " No..no I feel just he might throw some dead rat in my bag. He is that kind of boy of school who loved scare their teacher to death and then put blame on other kids." Pritam started laughing. She also joined him. She didn't want to scare Pritam. She looked at her kids. They had big responsibility. They needed to complete education of kids and pay back loan which they took for house and other expenses. Loan was always like rope around neck one false step and it should hang you and she was determined not to take false step and damage future of her kids. She slowly began to sense that quitting job was that step. She decided to keep working. So she was today in this house with that boy, his sister Urvashi & Kamala. She began to regret her decision of not quitting job when she started searching Urvashi's room. She took deep breath and about to knock when Kamala took hold of her hand. Kamala " What are you doing? Don't knock. Come with me." Kamala was whispering slowly. Trupti sensed something was wrong and she decided to follow Kamala without argument. When finally they reached to room and stood before cupboard, Kamala said " Swear before me that you will not leave this cupboard like that again." Kamala was on verge of tears. Trupti decided to do thing to amuse her. Trupti promised her but she thought that it was just a joke nothing more. She just laughed about it.
Trupti did as per her instructions. Then she turned around. She was shocked to see Urvashi behind. Urvashi " I read sound of dryer. I hope you don't put delicate clothes in dryer." " No Madam just regular one." " Great now you can leave? " " Soon Madam?!!" Urvashi screamed on her in anger. " You are maid. Remember it and behave like it. Don't question your Boss." Trupti was shocked by this outburst. She was so upset but she knew that it was less work and big payment so she went away without questioning. But when she reached home, she started to feel so upset. She began to cry. It was so upsetting. Kids saw her crying which managed to upset them too. Pritam senesed it. Pritam " I think money is not more precious than kids. If you keep crying like that you are going to upset kids just quit that job." Trupti nodded. Next day she called her Madam. She told her that she didn't want that job. Madam was shocked. Madam " Stop this nonsense. You can't quit like that!!" " Why?" " What happened?" Madam suddenly changed track and Trupti sensed that she was playing game with her. But Trupti was smart enough to handle it. " Actually my kids are too small I can't spare three hours. " After hearing this answer Madam started to sound frustrated " What's wrong? You know it from beginning and you are lying now. Tell me what is wrong? Did my son misbehaved?" Trupti was shocked so her son had bad habit of misbehaving. She shivered with fear. " No..no I don't have any complaint. I just don't have time." That lady kept dragging issue. Finally she switched off mobile. She was so upset. She couldn't keep mobile close this way. She needed to block number so she started mobile. Immediately call of Madam came. She started to shiver in fear. It was so scary. She began to feel as if Madam could come out of that mobile and grab her hand. It was imagination but she felt it so real that she started to shiver so much that her mobile fall out of her hand. Her son came running towards it. He screamed loudly " Mom you have broken your mobile!!" She controlled herself. Then she once again started to join her mobile. But she could see crack on it's display screen. She sensed that this job proved too costly for her. She began to feel so scared. She sensed for few days she would remain without mobile. She didn't say anything. She just picked up pieces of mobile. Her son saw tears in her eyes. He assumed that it was due to mobile. He started consoling her. " Mom don't cry. It was not your mistake. Such things happen. Don't worry Dad will bring new one." She took him in arms and cried. Her elder daughter was in school so she didn't see it. Her son was too small. He just assumed that his Mom was crying for mobile like he cried for his mobile. He just kept consoling her. After sometime she became quiet. She became normal. She went in kitchen. She made breakfast for herself and her son. Then she cooked lunch. After that she started to clean house. When her daughter came home with her neighbour, she welcomed her with smile. Her neighbour " You don't went to work today. " " No. Actually my Boss was strange woman." " What happened?" She told her everything. "Strange why she cared so much for cupboard? I feel it have some treasure." " Treasure? I don't know. Any way I am not concerned about their money. I just want to be treated with respect. They never did it." While they were discussing this, they didn't sense their another neighbour Sunny was listening to their conversation. Sunny was so happy. He was hoping to find some shortcut to get wealth. It was before him. He just needed to rob that one house and he would be enjoying at few months if not years. He wanted a catch. His wife was screaming on him every day to bring money. He was father of four kids. But he didn't like any of them. His all kids were worst. They didn't have much brain. He knew it from beginning. But still his wife kept insisting that they must send them to school. In school he felt money wasted like water. They needed this and that. He wanted that money to be used for more useful purposes. But his wife always kept taunting on his drinking habits. She kept saying if he had money for alcohol why he didn't had it for education of kids. He was so upset by her. First she gave birth to stupid kids. He knew that it was because of her. He was so intelligent and smart. He couldn't give birth to such stupid kids. He knew that it was because of her. He was so angry when she commented on his spending habits. He started hitting her. He crossed his limits. His stupid kids went running to neighbour. Then they stopped him. Finally his wife landed in hospital so she could no longer provide him any money. His neighbour forced him to spend her savings in hospital. He didn't want to but he was scared of Police. Now his wife was fine. But she wasn't ready to give him money. Whenever he tried to argue, she just ran out of house. He couldn't dare to hit her in public. She used it very well. So he had to earn some money. He knew that it was about money. If he had money then no one dared to question him. He could get rid of his wife and her stupid kids. He wanted new wife. But he was not going to do it in directly. He needed to know address of Trupti's employer and for it he needed to make friendship with Pritam. But he knew Pritam hated him. He was first one to argue when he started to hit his wife. But then he found wonderful idea. He decided that he could pretend.
Sunny's wife Janvi was so happy when he bought small pack of biscuits for all. It was small but each kid got one biscuit. They were thrilled by this treat. For those kids every sign of affection from father was big matter. When Sunny bought biscuits for kids, they were so thrilled. He seemed as if he had bought heaven for them. Janvi was happy too. Sunny gave sweet smile to Janvi and sat beside her in kitchen. Sunny " You might feel I don't love kids but that is not true. I love you all. But you can see I am sitting here without job. It look so bad. Today I went in factory to work for daily wages and I manage to earn little bit money so bought biscuits out of them. Kids are so happy." Janvi was so happy. He was talking so sweetly with her. It was happening after so many days. When they were newly wed, he used to talk like that with her. But it was their past. It was long ago but today he once again seemed to fall in love with her. She was so happy. He took her hand and started admiring them. He could see burns on them but still he admired them. She began to form faith on him. Sunny smiled. It was working perfectly. He was so skilled in fooling woman. He didn't understand how could someone act in such foolish way. He knew that Janvi knew very well in her soul that he never cared for her. He married her since he needed a woman to cook, clean and fulfill other desires. He never loved her. He had big list of women with whom he had flirted. Many girls who wanted to marry him but when they saw his house they all managed to find way to escape. Just few pretty girls decided to marry him but their parents decided to disown them. He denied since he didn't want pretty girls without money. He wanted money. They were not useful to him if they didn't bring money in his home. Finally his Mom brought proposal for him. Janvi was not beautiful. She was ordinary looking girl but she belonged to family where she taught to earn from childhood. She could do any job to bring money. It was right decision at beginning but his Mom started insisting for kids. Then they took chance of first child and she started expecting money from him. She started planning for future of kid. She began to tell kid was most precious. He was so angry and upset. He wanted money from her. Then it was so frustrating. She was his nightmare even today she was admiring him with one motive. He wanted address of house were Trupti was working. Sunny " For earning money I need good job." Janvi nodded. She was so happy due to his sweet words that she was believing his every word. " I heard that Trupti was working in one house which was giving her good payment." " You can't steal job from her." " What? Are you out of your mind? I never steal." He said it with such emotion that Janvi started apologizing. He wanted to laugh but controlled himself. " She quit her job since employer was rude." " Then how could you adjust there? You are just hot headed person." He was so upset. " Just tell me place." She told him. He smiled and vanished. She was so confused. When he went away from her sight, she began to sense something was wrong. She decided that she must do something. She stood up to tell Trupti but she felt so scared. She didn't want them to inform police. She loved her husband. She just closed her door tight. Sunny searched for that house. He was already started dreaming about alcohol. He already started dreaming it's smell. He came near that house. It was isolated cottage surrounded by building. It was looking so lonely. He suddenly felt scared. But he controlled his fear and without any second thought he went near window. He started looking inside. He began watching. There was one young beautiful girl with wonderful figure. He smiled. He wanted something like that for long time. But he was not sure about course of action on that point. But then he opened window. He slowly went inside. He decided to go near that girl. He was not rapist so he decided not to go near her. He sensed his attraction towards her might jeopardize his mission. He decided that he must open cupboard first. He searched for window of room. Finally he saw window from which he could see cupboard. He started to going toward that cupboard. That cupboard started to protest. Then he suddenly sensed that something was wrong. That cupboard stopped protesting. He thought that cupboard was surrendering when he suddenly felt strange pain. His entire body started to shiver. He began to scream then light opened. He hugging a cupboard which was full of electrical wires. He began to feel paralyzed. Then he heard human laugh. A young boy was laughing on his agony. Pavan " So you are friend of that Trupti and she sent you for that cupbroad." Pavan went near him and on same point Urvashi was awake. She entered in room. Urvashi was laughing too. Sunny sensed that it was plan. Urvashi " Do you think we are stupid to keep window open like that?" She kicked him. But then she sensed that he was no longer alive. Urvashi " He is dead." Pavan " I know. But we can't call Police. They will want to check cupboard." Urvashi " I don't want Mom to know it. " Pavan smiled " Let's put him in cupboard." " What but Mom open it every day?" While they were discussing this, Sunny came to his senses. He was not dead and didn't want to die. He just ran towards window. Before they could stop he was out of that house. He went away as far as possible.
When Pavan saw him running away, he screamed on Urvashi " Did you saw his face?" " Yes of course." " He knew about cupboard. We must catch him." " I know otherwise Mom will kill us. But this is madness. Why we need to take so much care of that cupboard?" " I don't know. But I know one thing Mom would get angry. We need to meet that Trupti and tell her to never try this." " But I don't think she sent him. She was so talkative. He must have overheard her. Since he was searching rooms, he looked inside my room too. I heard voice and woke up. I don't open eyes fully. He was looking at me in strange way. I felt so glad that my window was double locked." " I don't like this at all. If Mom learn this their would be big issue." Urvashi nodded. They went out search for sometime. But they knew that it was useless. After sometime they went in room and slept. Urvashi couldn't sleep peacefully that night. Next day on table of breakfast their Mom declared that she was going to meet Trupti tomorrow. Pavan & Urvashi shivered. They wanted to hide it all. But when she talked about it then they felt that she knew it. Mom " What happened?" " Nothing." She gave angry look to kids when Dad entered . " Stop irritating kids." " Fine...fine it is always my mistake." Dad tried to smile and make whole issue funny. But they all knew that it was not funny. Pavan " I will come with you." " Why? I am not kid." Dad " But that area is unknown." She nodded. Then she went inside room. Dad " You know her trouble. Try to handle her." Urvashi " Dad she is acting so strange. She is spreading rumours about cupboard. Yesterday a thief came to rob us." Dad shivered. " Do you feel that Trupti told him? Or send him?" Urvashi " She didn't needed to send. That woman was so talkative. She couldn't hold her tongue. She didn't keep her mouth shut." " Now that is scary combination." Pavan " I tried my best to threaten her." Urvashi gave strange laugh and said "Really!! I thought you are firting with her." Pavan started laughing. Dad gave him angry look. " How dare you act like that!!" " Sorry Dad but she is so beautiful. She will make perfect daughter-in-law for you. Hi hi!!" Dad got angry and slapped him. " Don't you know you must respect woman who taught you this way." Pavan felt so much ashamed. " Sorry Dad. I thought it was joke." Urvashi " Treating woman like that is not joke." Dad " Due to your attitude she must have warn all against us." They all understood situation. Dad " Go with Mom and warn that maid. Urvashi you must join them." " I can't." " Why?!!" " Since I need to study. Remember my college. I need to study and create future. I can't run after your mad wife whole time." Then suddenly their Mom came in room like thunder. She hit Urvashi hard. Urvashi screamed in pain. Dad took hold of her. Mom started screaming " You are disobedient girl. You never value anything." Pavan took hold of her. Pavan"We need to go. Remember Trupti." Mom looked confused. " "Where?" Pavan was confused. He didn't understand what he supposed to say. If she forgot all about Trupti, they were so lucky. But then they turned in worst way. She remembered it all in wrong way. " Yes.. yes I remember. We kept that lady Trupti on work and she manage to steal so we kill her. Don't we.." She gave strange smile but then suddenly she started crying. " I don't want to land in jail." Dad patted on her shoulder. Pavan " I think. She needed psychiatrist again." Urvashi nodded. " Trupti is not providing good thing for us." Pavan nodded. But in few moments they were shocked when they saw their Mom outside again. She smiled and said " Let's go." Pavan nodded. Dad gave him tense look suggesting that he had manage all. He nodded. Their entire life went in handling her. Sometimes he hated so much his Mom. He wished only if she was dead but then he remembered wonderful moments of life. He began to want her. She was his Mom. He could move around little bit to entertain her. But today he was most upset. A thief entered in house just because of her. But then he knew that it could be due to his attitude. He began to feel he needed treatment too. His Mom was managing to create impact on them all except Dad. Finally they went out. His Mom kept searching for long time. Finally she found that area where Trupti was living. They kept asking questions. Pavan could clearly sensed that people were getting upset. Finally they found that house. Actually it was more hut than house. They went there and started knocking on doors. Trupti opened it with smile. But after seeing them she shivered. Trupti " What do you want?" " Reason? Why you left job?" " I can. It is my choice." Pavan " Not if thief came to our house next day! Did you tell anyone about cupboard?" " Yes lot of people!!" Mom came towards her like some angry animal and took hold of her throat. Pavan had to work hard to separate her. Trupti was clearly hurt when she fall on ground. Many people gathered. Pavan was so tense. Trupti started to threatening with Police complaint. Pavan took hold of Mom and forced her to sit back in car. Then they went back to house again. Neighbors gathered around. Neighbour " Trupti someone might have overheard us." Leader of group who protected that area " Any way that woman will not permitted to come back again." It was decided that she would not come again. Trupti was shivering with fear. She regretted taking that job. She knew that they were lucky that they were not thrown out of locality after such drama. They hated argument and cops in their area. Every one was looking at her with anger except her friend who had sympathy in her eyes and checking her wounds on neck.
Trupti was so scared for entire day. She didn't dare to open door. But in few seconds some woman began to bang on door. She was shocked. She could not believe that Madam had returned. " Go away. I will not work for you." That woman screamed " I am not your Madam. I am Janvi your right side neighbour. I think my husband went there." Trupti was so angry and shocked. Trupti sensed that her notorious neighbour Sunny heard their conversation. Trupti opened door immediately. Trupti " Did you tell Sunny address?" She nodded. Janvi " And Sunny had not returned home?" Trupti shivered with fear. " I don't understand how could you stay with that horrible man?!!" He is my husband. I love him." Other man from locality " While he was ready to kill you. Even few days ago he was wandering with other girl I saw him. But she didn't show much interest so he had to return." Trupti " But he is married to Janvi." " Honesty is not part of his nature. He can lie to all." " But he is missing since last night." " My God Trupti do you feel your employer can harm him if they caught him?" " Yes. They can." Truthfully no one was waiting for Trupti's answer. They all saw way in which Trupti's Madam attacked her. " That woman was horrible. Let's go to Cops." They immediately went to Cop. Trupti joined them. She called Pritam and told him all. Pritam " I feel you must file complaint too. I don't want that woman again near our house." They all went Police station. Then cops wrote complaint. Cops saw wound around Trupti's neck. Cop " Did you went to Doctor?" Trupti " No. I was so scared. I just locked myself in house." " Then you must go ." She soon sensed even talking become effort. She nodded. Then she signed statement. After that she went to hospital in Cop's vehicle. Cop took address and immediately went there. They saw that Trupti's Madam was wandering around house like some animal. When Cop came, she went near him and started crying. " That thief entered in house and I killed him." Janvi started crying loudly. Cop " I need to arrest her." Her husband " Stop officer you can't trust her. She is not in sound mind." She began to scream like mad person " I am not mad." Every one around her sensed one thing that she was mad woman and even violent one. Cop sensed that she might attack her husband so Cop screamed " You can't lie like that to save wife." She smiled happily. She was clearly enjoying it. " We took him to hotel because he knew about cupboard. We ate lunch." Janvi " But he went at midnight." Cop gave her angry look. " Yes.. in midnight he entered in room and started touching me in wrong way. He began to rape me and then I found.." Trupti's Madam started to look confused. " I don't remember all. May be because of that rape." She started crying. " I felt so much pains. It was horrible." But her husband stopped her. " No need to describe it." She looked at him with anger. " You are feeling shame because your wife was raped. Now you hate to touch me." Then suddenly a Doctor came. That Doctor smiled. " You must go to hospital." " Yes we must punish rapist." Doctor looked confused. He just nodded. Then slowly he injected her. She fall asleep and they took her in ambulance. Cop " Doctor she is telling truth." Her husband " No. She was sound asleep entire night beside me." Urvashi " And that Sunny was trying to enter in my room but he entered in room of cupboard." " Why?" Then they told entire story. Pavan " So after getting that electric shock. He ran out of window." Doctor " I am psychiatrist and that woman is extreme case of schizophrenia. She is my patient for long time. It is all her imagination. But I will check her physically but I don't see any sign of rape in primary level." Cop nodded. Pavan " In case of that cupboard it was Mom's another imagination. You can go ahead and check it. If you wanted to." Doctor " You should have called me before." " Doctor, hospitalisation is not free. You know how much money we keep spending." " I know but it's not curable." They all nodded. Cop "But what if she hurt Trupti again?" Doctor " She is not psychopath. She might have took hold of Trupti's hold in anger but she never kill anyone." Cop " Really hard to believe." Doctor started laughing. " It was just drama. Trupti might be not injured that much." Cop decided to give call to Trupti. Doctor told them that it was red paint not blood. Cop started laughing. Doctor "Don't worry that Sunny will come back soon." Urvashi " No Officer you must worry about that man. He was totally intended to come in my room and rape me." Cop gave her confused look. " Don't assume me mad since my Mom is mad." Psychiatrist " She is totally sound. " Cop " Then I suggest you to file complaint." They nodded. Then Janvi screamed " Put him in jail. He was also hitting me." Every one nodded. Officer started to inform cops that they must catch Sunny not as victim but as culprit. Then Janvi went to hospital and told everything to Trupti. Trupti was immediately discharged since she was totally fine. Then Pavan came there with his family. Pavan " I am sorry. I played worst joke on you that day. My sister and father told me that it was cheap one." His head was down with shame. Trupti felt that he was just childish since he never actually touched her. " If you promise not to repeat, I will forgive and don't worry I took back that case." Urvashi " But can you join our job again. We will pay more. You know our situation in better way. Trust us our Mom will not kill you." They all started laughing. Since now they all knew that it was just red paint which used to scare Trupti. Trupti decided to work there again.
