Mitali woke up at time of night. She looked around. Her room have plenty of valuables. Like it always used to be. It started from her fifth birthday. It began from her fifth day. On that day her Mom caught her Dad red handed with his secretary. On that moment she didn't sense meanings. She just heard her Mom howling and screaming on her Dad. It was horrible. It was so important in life. But she became topper in her teacher's subject. But when that teacher came to her, she received a shock. Teacher " My god, how can you get such less marks in maths? This way you just never even manage to pass. It was worst for you. You are going to fail on every front.." She kept lecturing. Mitali just kept her eyes glued to ground so her marks in other subjects didn't help. She went home and cried alone in her room. Her parents didn't showed any interest in her except screaming on her. She was about to cut her vein when she sensed that her Mom was calling some one to break door. She knew that now she would be saved. She never wanted to become some one who was center of that drama. She just decided that she must go out so she pushed her door open. When she came, her Mom ran to her. Her Mom " My god you are bleeding." Mitali was scared now because she saw that she was bleeding too much so she had to go to hospital. She suddenly saw that sorrows in her Mom's eyes. She felt that every thing could be fine. She no longer wanted to die. Mitali " Mom I don't want to die." Mom " I know sweetheart I have called Doctor. We are going to hospital. First let me tie. " Her Mom tied her hand. They ran out. Luckily one neighbor came out and agreed to drive them. But every one in society heard it all. Mitali knew that her suicide attempt was going to be known to entire society. Mitali was so stressed. But she still sensed her mistake. She just wanted to turn back her moves.
When Mitali woke up in hospital, she sensed that every one was discussing her. At first she didn't heard but then one day she heard nurses talking. Nurse " That girl tried to kill herself since her parents were getting divorce." "These people!! Why did they give birth to child if they didn't want to settle." She just closed her ears after hearing this. She started crying when a doctor entered. Doctor "What happened?" Her face was so considerate that she told her every thing. Mitali " My parents never adjust with each other. But I want to be born. I want my life." " I know. That's why you created those imaginary friends to live your life. But I just tell you one thing. Don't you feel that it would have been better if you went directly to your Mom or Dad and argued with them. I mean you wanted your life." "My Dad had hardly any time. He was always busy and my Mom was busy in spying on him then slowly she began her life with Tarun." "So you are upset about getting step father?" "Of course. I hardly want a unknown man." "But your Mom was telling me that she was not planning to marry him." Mitali was little bit relaxed. Mitali " But if she kept having affair with him.." "Your Mom already broken all ties with him." Mitali smiled. " So what you feel that if your Mom stayed there with you alone then you will be happy. I mean she forced loneliness on you so you want loneliness for her." " No..NO..How can you say that? I just never met that man and that's why I don't want him in my home." "Okay so that's your problem. But you said you are having these imaginary friends for long time. It was before this Tarun issue." " It started soon after my parents started fighting. My Dad never wanted to be honest with Mom. I just never understand why did he married to her. But any way I want this life.." "Now stop confusing yourself. We need to just talk about you now. I no longer want to discuss about your parents. " Mitali liked this idea. She smiled. After that they discussed for long time. It was wonderful when that lady was about to go out. Mitali asked her " Who are you?" " I am psychiatrist." Mitali was suddenly so angry. That lady " No need to get so angry. If you don't like me then I will not come here from tomorrow." Mitali was confused now. Mitali liked this lady. Mitali " No..No..I will like to talk with you. You can come tomorrow." That lady smiled and went out. Mitali's parents were waiting outside. Dad " What happened?" " She is having hallucinations due to stress in life which she had due to your continuous fights. I just can't believe that educated people like you act this way. Any way don't worry. She agreed to take treatment. She will be fine. But I just want to understand one thing." Psychiatrist turned to Mitali's Dad. " Are you really interested in her life? " Dad looked confused. " Okay fine. I got your point. I no longer want you to come here and visit her." Dad screamed angrily " But she is my daughter." " You never remember it while having affair and soon you will start those things again. I want you to stay away from her life." Then she turned to her Mom. " I just feel you handle things in very bad way but we can deal with it. Come with me." Mitali's Mom went with psychiatrist. Her Dad was confused at beginning but then he suddenly decided that he was better off without Mitali so he went out of that hospital. On that day Mitali's life once again began with her Mom. Psychiatrist decided it in her heart that she would not let Mitali get disturbed by those things in future. She would make her strong girl.
