Adventure story. 720. Fear of her boss

                              Fear of her boss

Tanya was working so hard to get things as per her choice. She began to get restless step by step. She was feeling strange sort of suffocation. She didn’t understand why this was happening. She was doing cleaning & other household chores in this house for years. In fact, her mother used to work before but now she was working here. She kept entire household properly. But she kept feeling as if someone was observing her. She kept looking behind. She didn’t find anyone. Then suddenly out of nowhere son of her employer Tarun came before her. Tarun “What did you get by working so hard for hours?” She felt so confused. Her salary was nice. She was happy in this house. She slowly said “I get my salary.” Tarun laughed in odd way. “Come on you know very well. My parents are not paying you much.” She felt so nervous. She slowly said “I am happy with my salary.” “My God! How innocent you are?” “I don’t understand what did you mean.” “My parents are not paying you properly still you are saying you are happy with that salary. Why?” Tanya felt so frustrated. She just avoided Tarun & kept working. He seemed to go bored by conversation since he went away. She took breath of relief. That boy was acting so creepy day by day. Tarun was no longer little boy. He was young man. Her mom always considered Tarun as child but for Tanya he was young man. She didn’t like his behaviour. She felt that he was getting extra friendly with her. It was so upsetting. She began to work as fast as possible. Finally, it was over. She immediately ran to her employer to tell that she was going away. As always, she got permission. She felt so nice. She needed to escape from that house. She went to work in next house. She immediately felt one relief. She didn’t say anything to this employer but she sensed one thing that she didn’t like atmosphere of Tarun’s house. She finished cleaning of two houses & she started to get ready to return home. Suddenly on road she once again met Tarun. He was so irritating. She even started to feel scared of him. Tarun came towards her & once again he began to lecture her. “When will you learn to increase your salary? You need to demand it otherwise you will not get it. You are such stupid girl. I am family member of that house still I am telling you that you need to demand increase!” Tanya didn’t understand that why did Tarun was irritating her like that. She knew that her salary was okay. She demanded suitable increase. She said slowly “I know what salary other maids get I asked accordingly.” She felt so upset. When she returned home, she waited until her husband didn’t come. When her husband came, she immediately complaint to him about entire incidence. Her husband Shyamu listened her & said “I feel he is after you.” “For what purpose?” “Come on! He wants you.” Tanya laughed. “That’s not possible. Look towards me. Why young man like Tarun will take interest in me?” “You can’t predict those things. Just stay away from Tarun or quit job.” Tanya was shocked by this suggestion. She was working for long time there. She was not planning to quit job without cause. She said “Stop acting paranoid. I will manage it.” “Wow you are getting smart day by day but remember one thing. One day you regret that you didn’t took my suggestion.” Tanya just made angry face & decided to ignore Shyamu’s suggestion. She needed that job.

       Tarun began to get so angry. Tanya was just maid but she was not listening to him. He was so superior but still she decided to ignore him. He didn’t understand that how could she dare to do it. He was superior in every way. He was handsome & rich. For generations her family worked as maid for his family. Actually, it was just her mom who worked as maid but in Tarun’s mind Tanya was his slave. He was ordering her to demand increase in her salary then she must do it. But she didn’t so he was planning to answer her. He needed to replace her. He slowly went in kitchen to his mom. “Mom Tanya is no longer working the way she once used to.” His mom turned & looked towards him. Mom “What happened?”  He pointed towards dirt “Look this is so dirty & she comes so late.” “But you are always there to open door…” “No mom I need to go out today.” His mom looked confused. His Mom loved going out with her friends in evening. He knew that his mom would be unhappy to skip it. Tarun wanted to create issue for Tanya. He wanted to prove her useless & irritating. Mom “Fine I will call her earlier.” His Mom returned to her work. He never understood that how did his mom had work when they had maids but his mom was always busy. They always needed something to eat. He knew that his father always wanted to call his friends. His Mom needed to cook food for them. He never understood why did his father needed to invite them in home. But he never cared. He always stayed in his room. He needed to find some work. He knew that he needed to find job. He was searching for it. But then he started his business. It was successful until now. He was happy. He knew that he was using all connections of his parents but he knew that he made profits since he was wise. He knew that entire credit goes to him. But he needed to appreciate his dad for it since his dad always managed to put him in highest priority. His father never stood against him. He remembered many times on many occasions he made mistakes but his father always managed to handle them. He looked his mom’s hand. His mom was once again cooking something delicious. He deserved to be treated like someone important. His mom never understood it. But his mom always did whatever his dad said so his mom always managed to cook tasty items. He went ahead & began to take bite of it. He knew that his mom hated it. But he knew that his mom couldn’t object. After all his mom was just housewife who did limited cooking & run house with help of servants. She was nothing. His mom never liked when he tasted something in middle of cooking but he always did it. He wanted to show his mom that he was more powerful & dominating than him. He intentionally liked to disobey her. His mom looked angrily towards him. But he enjoyed it. He felt positive about it. His mom said “I feel Tanya is nice maid. I will call her early & she will come when I will at home.”

          Next morning Tanya received call from Tarun’s mom that she needed to come early. Tanya was not happy about it since she needed to do some changes in her schedule. She needed to drop her children to school. But Shyamu was very happy. Shyamu “I don’t want you to work when just Tarun is in home. You need to have more people. It’s better if his mom is present.” She gave him frustrated look & nodded. Then she went in her neighborhood requested one lady in neighborhood to drop her children. That lady always used to go to drop her kid too. But clearly that lady was not happy to do this extra task. But when she explained entire situation that lady agreed. But that lady said same thing. “Just be careful from that Tarun. You must start to calling him Sir. It’s better to give respect & stay away.” Tanya nodded. That day when she came near Tarun’s house, she met Tarun at doorstep. She looked towards Tarun nervously. She said “Good morning, Tarun Sir.” Tarun felt so happy. She added Sir in conversation so she began to show extra respect. He felt that she was not acting as per his wishes since she was scared. He smiled since he understood that she was not just scared of him she was scared of his mom too. She was not demanding more salary since she was scared. She had so lower status that she was scared of every one in house. He said slowly “It’s alright. I am starting my new project so I can’t stay in home so you must come early. You need to handle according to our schedule. You must not expect us to handle by your schedule.” She felt so upset. She knew that she supposed to handle as per convenience of her employer. She didn’t say anything. She just went inside. She felt nervous. She knew that something was wrong with that Tarun. She started to get so upset. She didn’t understand that why did she felt so stressed. She told herself that everything was fine. She went inside. Tarun’s mom came towards her & asked “Did Tarun said anything to you?” “No Madam.” His mom looked nervous. His Mom “I don’t know why but he is giving angry look to me. Just tell me did he told you something?” Tanya saw fear in eyes of her employer. Tanya slowly said “He wanted me to increase his salary.” “Oh! Then I will do that. How much?” Tanya didn’t like this. Tanya said slowly “I tell you frankly I didn’t ask increase since my husband want me to stop my job from next month.” Her employer looked shocked. “Why?” Tanya was not going to tell truth that they were scared of Tarun. Tanya already prepared for excuse. “Actually, my kids didn’t manage to get good marks so I need to stay at home & pay full attention to their education.” Tarun’s mom looked sad. Tarun’s mom said “But you are such good help!” But Tanya didn’t want to take risk. Tanya felt so nervous. Tanya said slowly “Sorry Madam.” Tarun’s mom nodded. Tanya literally ran out of that house. Tanya didn’t understand reason behind her fear. But she felt so scared. She wanted to feel positive. Her mind was feeling so nervous. She immediately ran towards her home. She knew that she needed jobs. But she decided to quit them. She couldn’t quit all jobs. She saw her employer from next house was calling her. Tanya turned back & went back to her next work. She went to houses where she normally cleaned then she returned home. She told Shyamu all. Slowly Shyamu told “You can’t quit all jobs but it’s difficult to avoid that, Tarun. Still, you can do it if you decide. You know all his habits.” She nodded. After that every day she was very careful. She was walking on road when one day suddenly Tarun came before her. She felt so nervous. Tarun “Why did you quit job?” “Actually, I quit all jobs for sometime for kids. Now I started again but I can’t come early…” Tarun gave her angry look & said “My mom did this. Right?” “No Sir. I needed to quit since I can’t adjust time.” Tarun began to abuse her. She was so shocked. She literally ran away. After that she began to walk more carefully. She was going ahead in her life until one day one maid called her. That maid asked “Where you working in that Tarun’s house?” She felt that they were searching for next maid. She was confused. She didn’t want to talk negative but she couldn’t keep talking positive. She said slowly “I used to work but then I stopped.” “Do you know their son was arrested for argument on street? He is mad person. All said.” Tanya didn’t say anything. Then Tanya said slowly “He is mad person but who will take him to psychiatrist. His father pampered him. I just kept away from him. I tell all to do so.” Then after some moments Tanya said “What if he kills or hurts me since I don’t demand increase in salary?” That maid kept looking towards Tanya in shock & Tanya just went ahead in hurry. Tanya wanted to reach home as soon as possible. Whenever she walked on those streets, she felt scared since she might meet Tarun on street.

Adventure story. 719. Dilip's parents

                              Dilip's parents

Dilip was smiling happily. He had pleasant thoughts in his heart. He was hoping for positivity. But he was not getting much. His feelings were turning in negative way. He kept thinking about positive side. But still he kept feeling as if something negative would enter. Today he planned birthday of his father. He loved his father so much. He knew that his father was biggest support for him. But he never felt helpless when he was around. It was his father’s birthday. He wanted celebration to be special. He called his brother Ravi. “I want you to arrange…” “I am too busy. You know very well. I work in one big company. Due to its name, I have position & power. I am not working like you in small shop. You have time to waste on such things but I don’t.” Dilip felt so sad but then he sensed that Ravi was telling truth. Ravi was having job in big international company. Ravi had position. But still sometimes Dilip wished that Ravi should not mention it like that. But then Dilip consoled himself with one thought that it was truth, he was not earning much. He looked towards his house. He got this house from his father. He decorated it in nice way. Ravi also got one house from father but Ravi managed to sell it & get bigger house. Ravi was proving himself as great man. Everyone was admiring Ravi’s skills. Ravi was such talented man. Dilip was not so smart. But Dilip always helped all. Dilip always thought that he had special place in his father’s heart. Dilip was always favorite for his father. Dilip acted nicely & he always helped his father in arranging different things. That day he was planning his father’s birthday. He discussed with his mother & grandmother to arrange all things which his father liked. It would be wonderful moment when his father would come in avenue & cut that cake. He wanted all to be special. He began to plan all. He started to decide what he wanted. He arranged all properly. All his favorite guests were invited. He began to discuss all with them. Step by step he started to feel positive. He wanted to feel hope in his soul. He knew that he did all perfectly as his father wanted. He was feeling so nervous. But now he confirmed with every guest that he did all in right way. Finally, time came of that party. He told his father in morning. He was expecting laugh or admiration on call but instead his father sounded upset. “Why did you waste so much money?” He felt so shocked. “It was your special day.” “What is special about it?” He became speechless. “After my birth nothing went as I want. I wanted happiness for me. But I just got sorrows. Your mom always treated Ravi as achiever & me as failure.” He felt so shocked. He slowly asked his father “What happened Dad?” His father said slowly “Your mom wanted to me to give that house in which we live to Ravi!” He felt little bit scared. He had little attached to his old house. But then his dad gave him this house. He slowly said “I got my house so it is okay for me.” His Dad didn’t say anything for some time. Then he said “But your grandmother is not ready. She doesn’t want to give it to Ravi.” He felt so nervous. He was trying his best to avoid arguments. He said “I feel we can wait.” “Yes, we can. But I don’t feel your grandmother even want anyone else to own that house.” “ Today is your birthday let’s talk about it later.” His father didn’t say anything. But when he began to talk about arrangement his father acted positively to please him.

             Dilip was so nervous after his father discussed this issue. He was working so hard to make everything happy & pleasant but it was not working. He was feeling scared & frustrated. He told himself to relaxed. He took help of servants to decorate all. Every thing happened just as he planned. Guest came one by one. Dilip was busy while arranging all. But whole time Ravi was chatting with all in such a way that Dilip could sense that every one was getting impressed. Except his grandmother who was looking angrily towards Ravi. Ravi was very arrogant sort of person. Ravi was successful but still his arrogance was visible. Ravi never gave respect to anyone while his grandmother was dominating woman. His grandmother always kept everything under her hold. His mom used to feel frustrated due to it. His mom used to keep screaming on his grandmother many times for not giving money as she desired. But his father always insisted that his mother would learn to adjust their life in his salary. Then his mother used taunt his dad for earning less. His dad used to hear all but his father didn’t complaint. His father just didn’t want his mom to argue with his grandmother. But as Ravi started to grow up, he began to argue. Ravi started to create big drama. Entire house used to get upset by it. So, they soon decided that after marriage Ravi should shift. His father was considerate man so he purchased two flats. He gave one to Ravi & another to Dilip. At beginning Dilip was staying with his parents & grandmother. They all decided that he should shift after marriage but sometime ago Ravi declared that Dilip was not getting married since he did live separate. So, he shifted in this house. But now he had doubts of real cause. He began to feel that they wanted to make that house on name of his elder brother Ravi. Dilip felt so negative about all. But still he decided to keep everything in positive attitude. He didn’t want to sense negativity. He kept chatting with his father. Then he even forced his grandmother to smile & join celebration. It was pleasant day. He loved it. He felt as if entire heaven came on earth for him on that day. His life was just perfect. He didn’t want anything more. Finally, one by one all went home. His parents left too. He cleaned his house with some servants. Then servants left too. He sat peacefully on chair. But he was not feeling relaxed. He knew that his life was not going in positive way. It was turning in negative direction. He wanted to keep hopes but he kept remembering that how did Ravi managed to take hold of everything. Ravi was getting so appreciated while he didn’t. Dilip started to feel negative. Once he hoped for pleasant life but now, he was not getting anything. He was working hard in his shop but still he didn’t feel appreciated. His employer paid him salary but his employer didn’t have time to appreciate anyone. His employer was thinking just about earning more & more. His employer kept saying “When I earn more, I will increase your salaries then you can move ahead in life. You can find nice wife & settle down.” But Dilip knew that it was never going to happen but he was at least expecting his brother Ravi to show patience regarding getting property but Ravi didn’t have any. Dilip felt so sad when he thought about his grandmother. He decided to visit her next day. Then he went to sleep. He didn’t go in shop that day but he needed to go in shop next day.

          Next day Dilip went to shop. But whole time he was feeling so tense. He began to feel as if something bad might happen in his life. He kept telling himself that everything was right. He concentrated on his work. He didn’t want to disappoint his employer. On that point his mobile rang. It’s call from his father. He took it. His father started crying. Then his father slowly told him that his grandmother died. He felt so shattered. But then he knew that life of his grandmother was no longer pleasant. He wanted her to remain alive but his grandmother wanted to die peacefully & join his grandfather in heaven. It was as if her wish was granted. He told his father that he would come. He told his employer & took vacation. When he reached to house, he sensed that all arrangements were stuck. His father was trying to do them but Ravi was creating obstacles in all. Dilip was so shocked. He was not expecting this on funeral. But Ravi was trying his best to dominate all. Ravi came towards father & said loudly “Now I need to do all. I am only one who was earning properly. Look towards my reputation. You are all using it. I needed to done everything.” Dilip didn’t argue. Dilip didn’t participate in any financial issues. Ravi always kept hold of them. Dilip never thought that one day Ravi would target his entire family in this way. It was so frustrating. Dilip said slowly “I will handle all step by step. Just don’t start it now.” “Why?” Ravi screamed “People needed to know how did grandmother never gave any respect to me! It was so upsetting.” All relatives started looking towards them. Then Ravi began to tell that how did he worked hard to get his big house etc. Dilip didn’t understand that why Ravi needed to create so much issue. They were not staying in Ravi’s house. Ravi managed to own big house & he was living in it with his family. Dilip wanted to say those things. But he felt so nervous. Dilip knew that all would support Ravi. Ravi was rich. Dilip was just small salesman of shop. Dilip just kept saying “Calm down…everything will be fine.” It was so upsetting. Ravi was misbehaving. But all were looking towards them as if they had done some crime. It was so frustrating. He tried to tell himself that everything was fine but he knew that he was scared. He was supposed to act brave. But he was scared. He felt so upset. He didn’t want to feel scared. But it was truth that he was scared of those people. He didn’t say anything just kept watching dead body of her grandmother for hours. He was feeling so sad. He began to feel so hopeless. He didn’t understand where his life was taking him. He was moving in right way but suddenly all turned in wrong way. He looked towards his father with hope. But he saw tears in his eyes. He understood that his father needed money now. Ravi was his father’s only hope. Dilip didn’t say anything. He just went ahead with funeral without saying anything. He knew that now he needed to obey Ravi.

         Dilip didn’t like to visit his parents any more. His father kept just quiet & his mom kept admiring Ravi. Ravi was not giving anything to them but still his mom was after him. In his mom’s eyes Ravi was special. His father kept all in his mom’s name. Dilip knew that his father did it since his father wanted to keep it away from his uncle’s hands. His father kept thinking his uncle would do some conspiracy to take away their wealth. Finally, all was under control of his mom & Ravi. Dilip felt so suffocated when he visited that house. Nothing was going the way that it should be needed. Dilip started avoiding going there but his father kept calling him. It was so scary. He knew that it was his duty as son. But whenever he went his mom forced some work on him while Ravi didn’t need to do anything. Ravi was too busy. Ravi managed to get his parent’s home too. Dilip was trying hard to live normally. But slowly he began to feel depressed. His regular customers started asking what was wrong. Finally, one customer gave him one card. “I know that it will look odd. You might feel angry. But I went through all this. Slowly you will begin to have nightmares then you will no longer feel hungry. Visit this Psychiatrist.” He looked angrily towards customer & said “I am fine.” But after sometime he truly began to get nightmares. His grandmother started blaming him for not supporting his father. He knew that he couldn’t do anything. But still that blame started to hurt him. He kept telling himself that everything was fine but he knew that he needed help. He took out that card in morning & called Psychiatrist. He took appointment. He told truth to his employer who happily gave him vacation of one day. He visited psychiatrist. Slowly he understood that he needed to live his life. He couldn’t change his father’s life. He stopped getting to attached to their situation. He began to concentrate on his life. Soon he began to notice one lady customer. She kept coming again & again. He felt that she was too rich. But then he sensed that she was widow. Her in-laws were not interested in her future. Her parents also considered her burden. He started to talk with her. Finally, one day he proposed her. They decided to get married. Her entire family was happy. His family didn’t take much interest. But he was happy. He began his life. His wife knew about his financial conditions but she didn’t have much issues. She had inherited lots of property from her parents & husband. She wanted just someone who loved her & finally she found that love. Dilip began to feel so positive about his life. Finally, he began his life. He told all about his psychiatric treatment to his wife. They went & even invited psychiatrist on marriage but psychiatrist was too busy. But Dilip was always thankful to that customer who suggested psychiatrist to him.

Adventure story. 718. Grandfather's restaurant

                                        Grandfather's restaurant

Priti’s thoughts were creating different world in her mind. She was thinking again & again about her dream restaurant. Her grandfather had one. She loved it. It belonged to her grandfather. Her father didn’t work in it. Her father took job in company. Her father never took any interest in that restaurant. Even her younger Uncle disliked it. So, her uncle also took job in some company. She was only person who used to sit on chair of cashier. She used to sit in that restaurant for hours. She loved it. Her grandfather always admired her. Her Grandfather used to say “One day you will run this restaurant.” She used to smile. But she remembered that how did her grandfather got old. He still kept running restaurant but her father & Uncle slowly started complaining. They began to claim that restaurant was not making profits. They wanted to sell it. Her grandfather was working so hard to get profit but he didn’t so she couldn’t have much option. She couldn’t start working in that restaurant since they wanted to sell & get money. Her father was not ready to give to her any way. She was not smart according to him. She felt so sad. She wanted them to sell it before eyes of grandfather since she knew that her grandfather would argue. But they did it. They were harassing her old grandfather. But they didn’t care. She felt so sad. Finally, her grandfather died due to old age. Then her father & Uncle immediately sold that restaurant. She thought that it was over but it was so odd. She kept thinking about that restaurant. She didn’t want to remember it. She felt one desire to keep going there. She knew that it was no longer belong to her but still she kept remembering it. She was trying hard to settle in her career but she didn’t find anything suitable. She always trained to work in restaurant but she could work as waitress or cashier. Since it would look so wrong if some restaurant owner suddenly began to work as waitress or cashier. It would look very odd. She began to feel negative about all. Her life had become some clueless ship. She didn’t understand in which way she supposed to sail. She needed to find way. She slowly looked towards her papers. She had created different plans regarding how to run a restaurant. She worked so hard on them. She drew her every plan of restaurant carefully. She was watching every paper carefully. She could see different designs in those papers. She worked so hard to get them in right way. She started to create wonderful look in them. Her each design had nice look. She was feeling so hopeful when she looked at them. She knew that she couldn’t able to run restaurant. She didn’t have money for it. Suddenly on that point her father entered in her room. He looked towards her papers & started laughing. “Come on! Why does you need to waste your money like that? Your grandfather already wasted enough. Do you know how much money wasted in running his restaurant? Let me show you.” He went inside & came with some paper. She didn’t want to see them. In her eyes her grandfather was successful person. She knew that he didn’t made profit in end but still she knew that at beginning his restaurant was success. She heard many stories about it. She was feeling so positive about it. But now her father showed her another picture. She was so confused. Her father smiled & said “Never dare to dream of starting a restaurant. It was biggest mistake of your grandfather.”

          Priti started crying uncontrollably. She was feeling so sad. She wanted to become like her grandfather but she sensed one thing that it was bad thing. She couldn’t become like her grandfather. She was not going to do that mistake. But she still felt that she had desire to become restaurant owner. But she told herself not try it. She must not waste hard earn money of her parents. She decided that she needed to find some nice work. After that she began to cook in kitchen. That affection of restaurant was just not leaving her. Her mom was happy to guide her. She used to cook different dishes. At beginning she used to get admired for them. Everyone was so happy about them. She used to feel so positive. But then after sometimes her father began to insist on some work which could bring money. Slowly all guest started agreeing with him. She just loved working in restaurant. She began to feel that she might apply for job in restaurant. But she felt so shy & nervous about all. She began to feel tense. She explained herself that she would get over it. She needed to go & visit some restaurants. She wanted to try to go inside it. She began to tell herself to do it. One day she got dressed. She began to feel positive in spirit. She dressed in smart way. She wanted to impress owner. She knew that restaurant was small. She couldn’t get some big job. She could sit on counter or serve as waiter. But still she needed to start somewhere. She got dressed nicely. Then she slowly went near restaurant. She was disappointed when she sensed that there was already enough staff. She needed some restaurant with vacancy. She was looking in restaurant when suddenly she heard “Excuse me…” from behind. She turned behind. It was waiter from restaurant. She sensed that now she didn’t have much option. She needed to visit restaurant. She felt so nervous. She came here to earn money but instead she was going to spend it. She looked nervously towards in that restaurant. It was really nice restaurant. She wanted to sit in it. Then she slowly see towards list of beverages. They were nice too. She slowly began to select. She knew that now it would look odd if she didn’t eat anything. So, she sat there. She began to decide that she needed to order things carefully. She began to order when she sensed one man came in restaurant. She knew that man. She used to chat with him for some time. But she never met that man. She was little bit nervous when she saw him. She smiled towards him & he looked away nervously since on that point waiter was approaching him. So, he ordered his food. While she was finishing her snacks, she was observing him slowly. On that point someone called him. Clearly, he needed to go back for some work. He immediately finished his food paid his bill & went away. She was observing him. But he didn’t have much time. Finally, she paid her bill & left restaurant. When she came out, she was hoping that he might talk to her next time. She was also started dreaming a married life with him. She knew that it was odd to dream so much. But she gave that freedom to her heart on that moment. So, she went out with hope of love & lack of job.

         Priti began to feel so nervous when she came near her house. She knew that now she needed to answer her father. She went there to get job but instead she spent money as customer. She wanted to ask for a job. But she felt so nervous. She was not sure how did her family would feel about that job. She was planning to act like waitress. She entered in house. Her Mom opened door. She immediately told everything to mom. Her mom “I don’t feel any job is less. We must treat every job with same respect.” She smiled so her mom would help her to convince her father. When her father came, they all sat together to eat. She slowly looked towards her father. She was feeling so nervous. She looked towards her mom for help. Her mom nodded. Her mom immediately started conversation “Actually Priti is trying to find a job in one restaurant.” “Really? So, she had not forgotten that dream of restaurant? So, what is her job?! Manager? No one in such big hotel can take her. So, let’s think about other jobs. I think that she is trying to become waitress. Am I wrong?”  Her mom felt so upset. “Come on. Let her start.” “Okay! In which restaurant?” She couldn’t answer that. She failed in getting job. She slowly said “I was just thinking about it…” “Let me guess while eating! Look at your weight Priti! Your weight is increasing daily.” She felt so nervous. She was never slime but now her weight was increasing daily. She needed to do something about it. She felt so sad. She was planning to impress that man but she was certain that he was not interested in her. Her father added “& now she is not even young girl who will keep her even as waitress?” She felt so nervous. She began to get sad. She knew that no one offered her any job. Then her father began to discuss about her marriage. “I just found out one suitable boy remember my friend…” Priti shivered. She didn’t want to marry in family of her father’s friends. She knew that they all criticised her. She said nervously “I don’t want to marry.” Her father gave her odd look. “So, you are tired of finding husband?” Her father knew very well that her mom was searching for suitable partner for her. Priti was too shy so it was hard for her to find match. Still, she tried to go on date with two or three boys. But when she met them in their houses, she sensed that they were not suitable. She never able to find one suitable date. It was so problematic for her. She kept telling herself to relax but her mind kept feeling hurt. Her father didn’t say anything. Then he said “Do as you wish I know very well that you will never listen to me.” She was so upset. She couldn’t marry those men who would never admire her. She saw them joking on her with her father. It was so upsetting. She didn’t want that trauma for life. Her mom didn’t say anything. But she knew that her mom would come to convince after knowing about this man from her father. She just tried her best to eat. Then she said “I will eat in room.” “Fine.” So, her parents wanted to discuss about this man when she would be absent. She went in room. She kept concentrating on her food. She felt so nervous. She suddenly began to feel so uneasy & she vomited. She sensed that her life was not going in right way. She was planning to get married so she needed to be healthy & she was vomiting. She was feeling so sick. Her mom slowly knocked door & asked “Can I come in? Are you alright?” She slowly opened door. She said “Mom I have vomited. I am sick.” Her Mom looked towards her nervously. “Let’s go to Doctor.” “No Mom. I can’t. If everyone know I am sick Dad will get upset. He will say I am burden…he didn’t want me…” “Stop this. Let’s go to doctor.” Her Mom forcibly took her to doctor. She kept crying entire time. People even asked them slowly “Do you need help?”  Mom told them that they are going to doctor only. Their Cab driver took them as fast as possible. But her dad didn’t come with them. He was relaxing in house. When they reached to home, doctor immediately checked her. Then Doctor said “This is just acidity. Why she is crying this way?” mom explained entire situation & doctor gave her mom number of psychiatrist. She felt so scared. “People will call me mad…” “Listen to me. If you visit now, you will fine. But if you took time this will become complicated.” She slowly nodded. Mom thanked doctor & they came out. Mom slowly called that number & took appointment. Priti slowly said “Don’t tell Dad.” “Don’t worry. I kept some money aside. We will manage.”

         Priti came back. She was so scared that her dad might find out. But her dad didn’t. Then finally that day came when she visited Psychiatrist with mom. She began to discuss with psychiatrist & she began to feel positive about entire conversation. She slowly understood that her father was not telling truth. Her grandfather managed his restaurant very well. Her grandfather gave excellent education to her father & Uncle just by it’s money. But when her grandfather got old, he couldn’t manage. She began to feel that her father should have kept restaurant for her but she decided to forget past. Then psychiatrist suggested her to take job in restaurant. But she told him that how hard to find. Then psychiatrist said “Just don’t give up.” So, by encouragement of that psychiatrist, she kept visiting hotels. She began to feel better. She stopped her treatment. She didn’t find job in restaurant but that man with whom she used to chat kept chatting on internet & kept coming in restaurant wherever she visited. One day finally he proposed her. She got married. She never managed to get restaurant. But she lived happily married life & her husband always respected her grandfather as successful restaurant owner. Her father & Uncle tried to plant negative but her husband always stood by her side. Slowly no one dared to talk against her grandfather before her. She was happy with that. She knew that she couldn’t get back that restaurant but she was happy to have one life partner who valued it like lost treasure.
