Adventure story. 697. Dinesh's Mom

                                                     Dinesh's Mom

Rita was calculating daily different things. She began to keep record of everything she did for her family. She didn’t understand what was leading to this crisis. She was calculating her budget daily. She needed to do it again & again. She didn’t understand how could her budget went in such wrong way. Rita had many responsibilities. She was handling all from her husband’s family & her parents were dependent on her too. Her father had some investments but they were not enough for their survival. They needed to invest more. But sadly, her father never got so rich. Her father always remained poor. She needed to handle all. When she started to search for suiter her father’s limited budget always managed to hurt her prospects. She never managed to impress families of rich boys so rich boys never took interest in her. She was daughter of poor man. She needed someone who would support her. But she managed to find nice man like Dinesh as her husband but he was also middle class. One thing was clear that their financial level wasn’t going to increase. She decided that they needed to adjust. They got married. They planned everything perfectly & it was working for long time. But now she sensed that something was moving in wrong way. She needed to feel positive about all. She wanted to create hopeful thinking. She looked carefully at budget. She noticed all expenses. She was little bit confused when she noticed her in-laws increased their expenses suddenly. Now she couldn’t question them. It would look wrong. But she didn’t understand cause. She knew that it was happening step by step. At beginning she thought that her in-laws might had planned to purchase something costly. She thought that it would be adjustment for one month. Then she noticed same increase in next month. She felt that it might be something important. But now she began to sense increase was keep going ahead. It wasn’t stopping. She felt so odd by it. She needed to understand cause now. But she knew that it would look wrong if she questioned parents of her husband. She decided that Dinesh needed to know about it. She was so concerned. She didn’t want to damage his relationship with his parents. She began to get tense then she decided that she might ignore one more time. She told herself that she still didn’t have serious responsibilities. She didn’t have kids. She felt sad but on other point she felt that it was okay. She told herself that she would have them after sometime. She was not in hurry. But she decided to talk with her mother-in-law. She called her mother-in-law “Hello how are you?” “I am okay but I like to know are you pregnant?” This was one question she was listening every month after her marriage. When at beginning it was asked she used to feel happy. But now she used to feel so nervous & shy. She was dreaming to become mother. She was hoping that soon she would have her own baby. But now this was not so pleasant thought. She waited for so long. Now she began to think she didn’t need to become so desperate for child. She needed to live her life normally. She tried treatment. All seemed like normal but still she didn’t become pregnant. She was so frustrated. She just needed some time. “Mom I am not. I just need to wait…” “No! Dinesh needed to marry another girl & I will find one nice girl soon for him. He can keep you if he wants but he must have child with another woman.” She didn’t understand what did her mother-in-law was talking about she never heard more nonsense. She decided to talk with Dinesh. She just disconnected that call.

         Dinesh was so confused when he had call from his mom at office. He was so busy in work. He didn’t want to waste his time on other things. But he didn’t have much option but to take call of his mom. “Hello Mom what is it?” “Your wife doesn’t manage to have child?” He didn’t understand what his mother was suggesting. They hadn’t been married for such long time that they should take it so seriously. He wasn’t interested in becoming father so soon. He didn’t want his mom to insist about it. He slowly said “Mom we are not in hurry to become parents.” His mom didn’t say anything for some time then his mom said “I knew that she can’t become mother.” Dinesh was so shocked. He was not expecting this. He asked “What are you saying? Who told you this?” “I can sense it.” “How?” His Mom didn’t say anything. His Mom disconnected call. He didn’t like it. He sensed that something was terribly wrong with his mom. He hoped that his mom didn’t manage to upset his wife. It was beginning to get frustrating his mom kept talking about child & he was getting blamed by Rita. He didn’t understand what was going on. He decided to talk with Rita about it after going in home. While in home Rita began to get ready, she began to feel little uneasy. She started to feel so sick. She ran to restroom & vomited. She felt so nervous. She immediately called in her office. She told Boss that she was sick & going to visit Doctor. Boss asked “Are you pregnant?” She was so angry. Her Boss was an elderly lady grandmother of few kids so she couldn’t scream on her. She said slowly but with anger “No. I am just…” “You are feeling uneasy in stomach & vomited. That is morning sickness!” Now suddenly she sensed her Boss was talking about her symptoms. She didn’t say anything. Her Boss asked “You want to become Mom, don’t you?” She smiled. But clearly her Boss couldn’t see so her Boss continued “Are you happy about pregnancy? I thought you want family!” “Of course! I just don’t know much about pregnancy.” Then her Boss explained all even gave mobile number of gynecologist. She immediately did all as per instructed. She knew that now she needed to wait. She was so excited when she came home. She totally forgot that she didn’t inform Dinesh about anything. When she returned, she sensed Dinesh was already home. She looked towards time. He came early today. She slowly pressed door bell. He opened door & immediately asked “Where were you?” She smiled sweetly & said “Let me come in.” He nodded & gave her place to enter then she laughed & declared “She might be pregnant.” At beginning he didn’t react but then he began to imagine his life with child. He had limited income but he could manage. He smiled happily & said “Now we need to save more money.” She smiled & said “Don’t worry. I will do work from home.” “Don’t start anything without doctor’s permission.” She nodded & they were going to start their new journey. It was pleasant thought for them. He was so happy. Finally, all doubts in his mom’s heart were going to be over.

         Dinesh’s mom was feeling so restless. His Dad was observing her. His Dad didn’t understand this change but something was wrong about her. Dinesh’s Mom was kept going out for hours. He didn’t know where. Whenever she came back, she began to chant something strange. It was not name of some god. If it had been name of God he could have understood it very well. But this was odd. It wasn’t name of God. He began to feel that it was something different. Today Dinesh’s Dad decided to ask “Where did you went?” “On beach!” “Why?” “I needed to do it to protect Dinesh from evil.” “Evil? What evil?” His Dad didn’t understand what was going on. His Mom just gave one angry look & declared “I am going to take bathe then I want to sit in my room alone. I want total privacy.” His Dad just nodded. It was so odd. His Dad didn’t understand to whom he supposed to ask. Sometimes his dad felt suggesting a psychiatrist was wise decision. But then his dad didn’t try it. Whenever his mom got angry, entire situation just went out of control. It was scary for them. When his dad married to his mom on that time his mom just used to get angry but situation wasn’t so serious. His Dad never thought about this change. His Dad didn’t understand from whom she was learning this. His Dad decided to watch contacts. His Dad searched but nothing important. Clearly his mom wasn’t talking with anybody. His dad was feeling so nervous. His dad didn’t understand what was going on. His dad decided to talk with Dinesh. His dad was observing how much money his mom was wasting on daily rituals. His dad saw that she purchased many sort of herbs. There were multiple costly herbs. He didn’t know it until one day he  check out price tag. It was so shocking to see that price. His Dad decided that it couldn’t permitted any more. Dad entered in room & waited. Finally Mom came out. Dad “Why you are wasting money like that?” Mom gave him angry look & asked “ I have earned too so I have right to spend it as I want.” “But now you are spending money which your son & daughter-in-law spending!” Mom screamed “I invested in their flat & it has my name on it. Do you remember it?” Dad kept looking towards Mom. Then Mom went away. Dad kept observing her. He knew that something was wrong with her. He couldn’t tell. Dad began to call Dinesh. Dinesh took call & talked excitedly about pregnancy of Rita. Dad was so happy. Dad wanted to discuss all but he decided to wait. Dad didn’t want to upset him. Dinesh needed to feel more concerned about his wife. But Dad felt that if he told Dinesh’s Mom about it then she would be happy. So, he immediately went in room where Mom wanted privacy. Mom was sitting with closed eyes. Dad didn’t understand what he exactly supposed to do. But then he felt that he must tell it. That news wasn’t confirmed but still he said in low voice “Rita might be pregnant.” Suddenly Mom opened eyes in strange way & said “That’s why I felt! That evil is coming!” Dad “Are you calling that unborn a evil?” “Yes...we must get rid of it.” “What are you trying to say?” Mom started screaming loudly. Dad shivered. Mom started to go out. Dad was so scared. Dad immediately called Dinesh. Dinesh was so shocked. But he knew one thing that Rita must not meet his mom. Dinesh ran towards Rita on that point. He began to call Taxi. He found one which would drop Rita to her parent’s house. Rita didn’t understand cause. She felt that Dinesh was concerned. Rita began to tell him that she needed to do some work in office so she was not in hurry. But he insisted. She began to get so restless. She slowly asked “What happened?” “Trust me. Something is very wrong with mom. My mom is acting odd.” She gave nervous smile. She started to feel so stressed. She decided to go as per Dinesh’s suggestions. She began to pack clothes when door bell rang. Dinesh didn’t want to open it but he knew that Rita wouldn’t listen to him. He didn’t have much options since his mom already started screaming. He opened door. His Mom gave him angry look & showed one odd colour stone. “Call your wife.” Rita came out. His Mom touched her with that stone. Then his mom smiled. “Stone didn’t change colour.”  Rita gave confused look. Then his mom said “She is not pregnant. I told you it’s not possible.” Rita wanted to argue but Dinesh requested her to keep quiet with gestures. Rita said slowly “We are just hoping nothing is confirmed.” Dinesh’s Mom smiled & said “I am telling you. You are not.” Dinesh just received call from Taxi. He immediately told Rita that Taxi was waiting. Rita was so angry that she just left & told security to bring her suitcase. She sat in Taxi & Dinesh took breath of relief. As soon as Rita went away from sight Dinesh started arguing “ What’s wrong with you?” He screamed loudly. Suddenly his Mom changed her voice & said “ You done deal with demon & began to hit him with different object.” He was so scared. He literally ran out of house & locked door. After going out he could start hearing his mom’s screams. Soon security & people of building gathered. He told them situation. One person suggested name of psychiatrist. They insisted on calling. He called. Psychiatrist told him to admit his mom in mental hospital. He agreed. Ambulance came. They took away his mom Dinesh was watching all. He didn’t understand how could this happen. Dinesh said “She appeared normal until now.” Psychiatrist “I need to check your mom in details but I don’t feel she was normal. You just choose to ignore.” Dinesh nodded. He felt so nervous. Now he needed to tell all to Rita. He had no option. He called his dad & told everything. His dad said “Don’t worry. I will take care of your mom. You just need to take care of your wife.” “I plan to hide this from her.” His dad didn’t say anything then his dad said “As you wish. You can tell her we went to our village.” “Great.” So, Dinesh called Rita & lied. Rita “How can you lie like that to your wife?” He just kept quiet. “Few seconds ago our neighbours called me to tell all. I am coming back to home. I need to know what is your mom’s issue.” He didn’t say anything. He sensed one thing his future journey of life was not easy. He couldn’t escape from his mom’s issue. It was better to face it. He went back in his house & told everything to his dad. His dad didn’t say anything. Finally, he disconnected his all. He knew that he was trying hard to hide everything. Now he decided to face it. He began to wait for Rita with anxiety.

Tarun started to write everything with full concentration. He needed to feel fully positive. In each word he was expressing his feelings. He started to think that he needed to work hard. He looked around. He had nice house. It was small but nice one. Sarika wasn’t happy in it. He knew that. From the day when they started dating Sarika always kept showing strange admiration for her Parent’s house. He wanted to feel positive in her heart. He remembered those dates. They were so wonderful. But her attachment to her parents was never hidden. One day his family asked him about his plan about marriage. He told them about Sarika. His family decided to ask Sarika’s parents. He wanted to warn her. But he couldn’t nothing went in right way. Her parents rejected his proposal. Now he needed to convince her regarding marrying him. He was planning to insist on his love. He wrote it for hours & finally he decided to give it to her personally. He took out his bike & began to drive towards her house. He knew that he needed to reach her home & her parents were not positive about him. But he needed to convince. He came to door & rang door bell. Her Mom opened door. He was expecting angry look but her mom smiled & said “Come in.” Her Mom told him to sit down. “Are you here regarding marriage proposal?” He nodded. “Sarika didn’t see you as her husband.” “What?” Her Mom looked little frustrated but she continued. “Come on you can surely understand. Girls have their wishes. Their dreams! They create some person who will be match for them.” “I don’t get it. She liked me when we date.” “Of course, & you need to keep trying. Slowly she might find that love in you. It will take sometime I know but you need to work hard. You need to make her fall in love with you. Have you understood?” He nodded. He was nodding but it was behind his grasp. He couldn’t make Sarika fall in love with him. He felt so nervous. He began to get so stressed. He wanted to feel hopeful but he kept getting negative about all thoughts. He needed to think positively about all. He smiled & said “I will try.” Then he went back with his letter. He didn’t understand why he didn’t able to express himself. He was so frustrated. He began to feel that he couldn’t feel positive since he didn’t able to convince Sarika. He was about to go when her mom said “She is upstairs. Why don’t you go & talk?” He nodded. He went upstairs. She was sitting. He slowly came near her. She was clearly crying. She saw him & immediately declared “We must stop dating.” He didn’t understand what was going on. He slowly asked “Why?” “I don’t love you. I want to search for person whom I will love. You are not the one.” He felt so upset. But he didn’t say anything. He just looked stressed. She sensed it but she said “I may leave.” He felt so insulted. He just stood up & left room. He knew one thing that he didn’t want to have any connection with Sarika any more. He returned home & immediately declared it. His father looked happy. “I don’t want that rich girl to get married in our house. She looked like snob.” But his mom looked sad. “Are you sure? I mean you can give another try.” “No Mom. I will start searching for new girl.” His father “What about Meena? She is nice girl daughter of my friend.” He immediately nodded. He just wanted to start dating. His father immediately fixed one date for him. When his office would close next day, he would go & meet Meena.

        Tarun was so angry. Sarika was enjoying those dates. He was certain about it but suddenly all changed. It began to create impact on his mind. His heart began to get upset. He wanted to feel hopeful but his life was already shattered by negativity. He looked towards clock on wall. He checked timing. It was so frustrating. He knew that Meena was coming to meet him with hope. But in his heart, he was having negativity. He wanted to keep control of situation this time. He needed to make sure that he would be one who could be fooled. Sarika fooled him. He was going to keep it in his mind. He knew that he was going to be late if he didn’t leave immediately. But he decided to wait. He knew that if he went there late then it would have different. He knew it since he waited for Sarika on many dates. He felt so upset. He didn’t understand how could he pretend everything was fine. He needed to do that but he couldn’t. He told himself to calm down. He needed to smile. He went in rest room of office. He watched his face carefully. He was looking so nice. He was so happy. He began to hope that soon he would find some way impress Meena. Meena needed to be impressed by him. He must manage to get nice girlfriend soon. If possible, he wanted to get married soon. He didn’t want anyone to know that Sarika left him. It was going to be worst thing for him. He did so much to impress her. He considered her as important as his every breath & now he needed to replace her. He began to cry slowly. He was so upset. Anyone could enter in that restroom after all it was office’s restroom. It was so embarrassing if someone noticed him crying. He was feeling so stressed. He told himself to control his emotions. He smiled & started to go where his father told. He began to get so tense. He wanted positivity in his life but it wasn’t happening. He was getting upset but still he managed to smile. Finally, he reached to that point where he was planning to meet Meena. He began to search for Meena. He didn’t saw her photo. He totally forgot it. Suddenly one ordinary looking lady came near him. She gave him smile. He began to think that she must be Meena. He wasn’t expecting good looking girl. But this girl was so ordinary. Most importantly she looked little stupid. That girl gave nervous smile & said “Hello Tarun! I am Meena.” So, she managed to see his photo. He supposed to feel impressed by it but he was not. He wanted a girl who looked better than Sarika. He didn’t want ordinary looking girl. He gave smile which was telling he was superior than her. Meena didn’t mind. Meena just pointed towards table & said “That’s our table let’s go.” So, Meena was waiting for him such a long time. But it didn’t impact Meena so much. She was in her world. It seemed as if Meena never got such nice man as date so she was happy to have this chance & she was not ready to reduce that happiness. Meena kept chatting. She kept smiling. He answered in limited words but it didn’t impact Meena since she wasn’t paying attention to him. She was lost in her world. She was enjoying that date & she didn’t plan to pay any attention to his negativity. She was happy in her dream world with her positivity.

           Tarun was hoping that during that date Meena would sense his negativity but she didn’t. She kept talking. Finally, he told her that they needed to go home. She agreed to it. When he reached home, he couldn’t find any negative word about Meena. She was nice girl. He wanted to like her but he was frustrated. He was so angry. His anger was capturing his mind. He couldn’t think positively. His parents were very excited about this date. He sensed that they didn’t want Sarika as their daughter-in-law any more. Clearly Sarika’s parents must had said something. He sensed one thing with more emphasis his parents didn’t want him to have any connection with Sarika. Sarika’s parents were suggesting that they should continue to date. One day she would fall in love with him was Sarika’s parent’s hope which they were planting in his mind. But he wasn’t sure. He wanted to try it. This entire incidence was painful for him. He needed to feel hopeful but he was feeling totally negative. He didn’t understand what was wrong with him. He was so stressed in his heart. He kept searching for way to fall in love with Meena & forget Sarika. He needed to do it fast. He couldn’t smile but he said slowly to his parents “I plan to get married with Meena.” They looked so happy. His father “You liked her so much?!” “Actually, I wanted to settle down & life isn’t moving in right way for me. I know Sarika doesn’t like me so I need to get married as soon as possible.” His parents looked towards him with shock look. His father said “I don’t want you to get married in such hurry. You need sometime to think.” He didn’t say anything. Then his mom also agreed with his father & said “I feel you need to take some break.” He began to agree too. He couldn’t destroy life of some girl just because he wanted to hide his girl friend cheated on him. He told himself that he needed to remain positive regarding all. His mind was so nervous. His positivity was reducing step by step. He wanted to think in hopeful way but he couldn’t. He said “ I will just date her.” So after that they began to meet daily. He was paying full attention to her. He was trying to think about Meena in positive way. He was working hard to reduce his negativity in entire matter. He began to try hard to make it work. Every day he was going out to meet her. She came with same interest. She kept talking with same happiness. He didn’t understand what was going on. One day he suddenly received call from Sarika. She said “I am ready for date!” He was so shocked. He didn’t want to say “No” But still he needed. He said roughly “Sorry I am dating another girl.” Sarika said “Okay.” & disconnected call. He was expecting some sorrows from her. He thought that she would plead. But nothing like that happened. She just disconnected his call. He was so upset. He began to feel restless. He knew that she was just trying to date again but he started to hope again. He began to think to stop dating Meena. He felt that he needed to start dating Sarika again. He called Meena. He told her about Sarika. Meena sounded so upset. Meena “But I thought you are planning to marry me now!” “I was but now Sarika is coming back…” “Okay.” Meena disconnected call. He called Sarika & told her that they could start dating. When he told this to his parents, they were so angry. His father “You are losing your mind.” “Yes, maybe I am but I want to marry Sarika. I don’t like Meena.” His Mom gave angry look & said “Fine. But now remain stuck to it.” He nodded. After that his parents stopped taking interest in his life. Sarika used to come on dates sometimes. But slowly she reduced it.  He began to feel so nervous. He started to have nightmares in which Meena was cursing him for his dishonesty. He couldn’t believe it. He knew that Meena was no longer part of his life. But he began to feel that Meena was bringing bad luck on him. He decided that he needed to talk with her. He called Meena & asked “So do you hold grudge on me?” Meena said in odd way “Who is speaking?” He was so shocked. “Stop pretending. We were dating for some time.” “Oh! Tarun! I don’t want you to call me again. I don’t want to start dating with you again so stop irritating me.” He was so shocked. “So, you are dating some one else?” “I am not in hurry to find someone like you. I will marry if I fall in love otherwise I will not & I am never going to fall in love with you I am sure about it.” Then she disconnected call. He didn’t understand what was happening with him. He was no longer feeling positive but clearly Meena wasn’t its cause. He couldn’t sleep at night. Then he began to sense he needed help. He decided to take appointment of Psychiatrist. He had one under his office. He one day went there & took appointment. He kept getting those nightmares. Slowly his pain was visible on his face. His parents blamed it on his wrong decision. Then finally he went for that appointment. He entered in room & immediately told all to Psychiatrist. Finally, he asked “Did I done wrong by saying no to Meena?” “No, you done wrong by starting to date her. You done right by saying no to her before marriage since you were cheating to Meena. You shouldn’t have started dating Meena immediately after break up. You are getting those nightmares due to guilt. You need to talk with Meena & apologize. Tell her why you said no to her. She might get angry but you deserve whatever she says to you.” He nodded. Then Psychiatrist said “& you need to stop dating Sarika. Stay away from her. Don’t date anyone for some time.” Then Psychiatrist gave him some medicine too. He called Meena & apologized. Meena just said “ I just want you to forget all. We need to move on.” He agreed with her. They decided that they would never meet again happily. Then he messaged Sarika that he wanted to stop dating. After sometime he began to forget all those dating issues. It took sometime but slowly those nightmares stopped too. He began to concentrate on his career while ignoring his love life. After sometime he stopped his Psychiatric treatment as per Doctor’s instructions. His life became normal. He began to get better in his work. One day Sarika called. But he didn’t feel much love towards her. He just told her “ This is over accept it.” She said “ Okay.” In few days he found her with another fellow. He felt little hurt but he also felt glad that he stopped dating her. On that day he took appointment of Psychiatrist discussed. But after that discussion he went ahead with his life normally. He decided that he would wait for life partner if he found one great otherwise, he was fine as he was.

                                                  Pradip's promotion

Pradip was working hard to get promotion which was so obsessed with it. His life was such a positive until that issue didn’t enter. He began to think how much his life was positive when he got promotion. He was getting promotions step by step every time. He was enjoying positive feeling in his life. He didn’t want to feel negative about anything. But he knew that he was no longer getting promotions. He was married. Father of two children! But still he didn’t manage to move over negativity & bossing which his father showed on him was still going on. He was expecting his wife Rita to be supportive to him. He remembered very well that how cooperative he was when Rita had issues in her life. She was so hopeless when she lost her job. When he married to her, she didn’t have any job. She was so depressed. He kept giving positivity to her. She began to feel so negative about entire incidence. She wanted to feel hopeful but her life was going in wrong way. He still remembered on that day when they sat in hotel but it was too costly so she decided to go to beach. He had some money but he decided to save too. She said “We will need money in future. We don’t need costly hotel food. We can buy something like popsicles or peanuts & enjoy ourselves.” He agreed. It was perfect day for him. She was in love with him. She wanted to adjust with issues they had. She used to feel happy on his every small gift. He still remembered how much happy she was when he gave her that designer purse. She jumped with joy. But now Rita was changed. When he gave her designer purse, she immediately gave angry look. She began to lecture him not to waste so much money. His earning was just for saving after daily purchases. His parents always managed to normal household expenses. But he needed to pay for their personal expenses. He needed to purchase clothes then he needed to purchase toys. Then other things like computer or laptop, mobile etc. his children needed them. Pradip wanted to gift Rita something special but she wanted something which could be used by their own family. She wanted something which should be useful for their children. In her eyes children were most important. He knew that it was right but still he felt as if he never gave any pleasure or happiness to her in life. Their life was moving in wrong way. He looked towards her with guilt every time. But she was always busy. She found new job. It had good salary too. She never tried to boost before him about her salary but still he felt so guilty when she needed to manage home & earn more money. He sometimes wanted to help her in house chores. But his father immediately started to object it. His father immediately began to target Rita. His father began to say “Since your earnings are so low your wife is keeping you like some servant when you will learn to earn more.” Then Rita immediately stopped him from working. Rita didn’t like it. Rita didn’t permit him to do any thing in house. He didn’t suppose to touch any work in house. He felt so guilty. He wanted to give something to Rita but he couldn’t so he needed this promotion as gift. He looked towards his project. It was perfect. He double checked it. He was so happy so he finally sent that project ahead. He knew that he would surely get promotion this time. He smiled happily. Then he looked towards time & he sensed that he was too late. He needed to sleep after all he needed to go to office next day. He closed his computer & went to sleep. He observed his exhausted wife sleeping. She looked so tired. He needed to do something. He required this promotion. He closed his eyes while thinking about it.

            Rita was trying so hard to sleep but she couldn’t. She didn’t understand what was happening to her. She kept feeling uneasy & nervous. She didn’t want to cause stress but she knew that she was causing it. She looked towards Pradip. He was looking so exhausted. She was trying so hard to handle everything. She looked towards Pradip. She was so tense. She wanted to feel positive. But it wasn’t happening. She knew that they needed money. They had two children & Pradip’s father kept bullying. She wanted new house where Pradip could get respect. But she knew that it wasn’t easy to earn so much money. She was so stressed. Every time her father-in-law began to talk, she started to feel inferior. She was no longer feeling normal. She observed that Pradip was sleeping peacefully. Then slowly she started to stood up without making noise. She went near window & started looking out. It was so sad. But she didn’t sense that when she stood up she slowly pushed hand of her husband. Suddenly Pradip felt in his dream as if he lost some precious treasure. He shivered. He wanted to cry. He was in biggest sorrow in his dream when his wife Rita pushed away his hand by mistake. She didn’t sense her impact on him. She was lost in her world. She began to feel so positive when she started to look towards different flats in building. She started to observe them. She began to dream that one day she would get that flat. But in dream Pradip was seeing worst things. Pradip wasn’t feeling much positive about anything. He had worst nightmare on that night. He began to feel so much pain. When next morning he woke up, he was so sad. He didn’t want to feel negative about it. He looked around in room. He didn’t see anything so upsetting. He began to feel stressed little bit. He didn’t have any negativity in his room. He started to think that his negative thoughts were coming from his mind. He had one room. He needed to feel glad that he had house where he had room. His house had two bedrooms so they had one. His children needed to sleep in hall. It was nice but he knew soon their children would need room too. Rita wanted to purchase new house. They could effort just small one with one bedroom & rooms which were a lot smaller than this one. It was so upsetting. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t manage to make anyone happy. Then he sensed that since he was useless the way his father kept telling. He looked towards timing. He needed to reach to office on time which was very important for him. He wanted to do work in it. He immediately woke up. He looked towards his wife Rita. Rita was taking rest. He didn’t want to wake her up. He began to go out on that point his father came near room & started to speak loudly “Does your wife going to woke up & do some work in house? Does my son supposed to cook for family now?” He was so upset. He sensed that Rita would surely hear it. On that point Rita woke up & came out running. Rita “I am sorry I overslept.” She looked so sad & nervous. He wished only if he had enough money to handle all. His father kept targeting him & his family. It was so frustrating. He knew that he was son & his family included his parents too but his parents didn’t treat them as family. On that point he felt so sad about it. His parents never admired his family. His Mom screamed loudly “I worked so hard. I use to wake up on time. But these girls…” He wanted to answer back but he didn’t if he answered them, they would insult his wife Rita more. He noticed kids already began to observe argument. He just went in washroom to get ready for office. He started to prepare himself. He needed to go in office as soon as possible he needed his promotion. It was so upsetting.

            When Pradip reached to office, he did all as he decided. He presented everything perfectly. He was expecting a promotion but then another person did presentation. It was much better than him. He immediately felt so sad. He wanted to feel hopeful but he began to sense that he couldn’t get promotion. He took deep breath. Then finally result came as he expected. He missed promotion again. He slowly told himself to calm down. But his mind was getting so depressed. He began to look towards office windows. They were so big & beautiful. He slowly came near that window. He began to look out of it. He didn’t able to relax. But when he saw entire town like some toy city. It looked so great. He kept looking towards it. He could see different colors & designs. He felt every part of that city seemed so nice. He just needed one small house in it. He began to search. But soon he sensed that he needed house with two bedroom which would be impossible. His salary wasn’t so high. He had limited capacity. In fact, he didn’t have any capacity at all. He was feeling so nervous when he sensed it. He was earning so less. Sometimes he felt that he was just burden. If he died then his family might get insurance the way his friend’s family got. Sometime ago his friend had heart attack. His friend was suffering similar issue like him. He needed big house. They were two brothers so it was becoming worst. But one day his friend suddenly died due to heart attack. He still remembered. He was in his office when one person came running. That person asked about numbers of his friend’s family. He didn’t have them. Then that one ran away. Soon voice of ambulance came. He ran out to found out that someone was serious. He was so tense. He began to talk with people. Soon he sensed that his friend was dead. He felt so sad. He went to hospital. His family was crying. He kept feeling sad & depressed. After few months he visited his widow. He sensed that they got big house just the way his friend wanted. His widow said “It was our need. We wanted it when he was alive but we got it after his death.” She was sad but still he felt that situation was better. His friend died & widow received money. He sometimes wished only if same thing could happen to him. But he was alive. He knew that he needed to die naturally & it wasn’t happening. He felt so sad. He needed to go back home early. He turned & went in boss’s cabin. He asked for day off. Boss immediately gave angry look. “You are not getting promotion. Your projects are not getting success & you want more vacation? You don’t have dedication & your intelligence is less too.” He didn’t say anything. He just sensed that he couldn’t get day off. He just nodded & went back. He started working. He went home late. He didn’t tell anything but no one needed to ask too. His father immediately said “You are always useless. You can’t achieve anything.” His Mom just made one face which showed that she agreed with his father. His children were watching him too. He felt so ashamed. He just wanted to run away so he immediately went to take wash. He kept working for hours but he didn’t get promotion. It was so upsetting. He didn’t understand that what was happening. He just wanted to sleep. He took bathe & then he went to sleep. Rita was feeling so confused. Rita came in room. Rita “You are not eating anything.” “I am not hungry.” “Eat little bit!” He just nodded negatively & he went to sleep. He was so tense. He didn’t want to say it but still he said it “It would have been great if I can have heart attack.” Rita was so shocked. “What are you talking about? This is not right. I want you more than anything.” He took hold of her hand & said “You don’t know how much insurance money can help you. My friend’s family…” “I don’t want that money. I want you. You are looking so pale. Let’s take Doctor’s appointment.” “I don’t want to get cured…no…it’s great idea. Doctor must check me then my death will become natural.” Rita was so upset. She wanted to scream on him but she controlled herself & said “Just go to sleep.” Then she slowly came out of room & called Doctor. She told everything to doctor. Then she said “ He is not looking normal today. I am so tense.” “Take him to psychiatrist.” “What? He is not mad.” “But he is becoming suicidal due to depression.” Rita understood & said “I will take him. I will tell him Doctor told for Insurance he needed to be proved sound mind first.” “Good.” Next morning when Pradip woke up, she lied the way she planned. Pradip smiled & agreed immediately.

        When Pradip went to Psychiatrist, he went just with hope that he would die soon & get insurance money for family. But he began to talk with Psychiatrist his view changed. He felt so hopeful.” He came out & he immediately decided they would shift in another house. He said “Small house will be fine too.” When they told this his parents agreed happily. Children were excited too. They took small house on installment. He began to work properly. His Boss kept taunting on his inferior work but he never did over time. Slowly after Psychiatrist’s training he sensed that if he didn’t get promotion, he didn’t need extra work. He began to get confident. His children also began to enjoy staying in that small house. Their children were enough grown up so babysitter wasn’t needed. They just kept cook & maid. Everything went ahead nicely. Slowly Pradip stopped his psychiatric treatment. At beginning he was little scare. Sometimes he used to call Psychiatrist but slowly he adjusted. Step by step he even managed to purchase in bigger house after saving money. He invited his parents. They came like guests & went away like guests. He never understood why but his parents didn’t want to become part of his family. They hated his family. He never understood cause but he accepted it.
