Satish's new house
Satish was so excited about new house. It was going to be his dream house. He started packing all his things. He was so glad that at last he got that house . He was single. He didn’t have much responsibilities. He just wanted to live his life peacefully in that house. He smiled happily when he looked towards paper. It declared that finally that house belonged to him. He was working so hard to maintain it. But he was never appreciated for it. His parents always kept talking about his brother’s earning & his family. Actually his brother was not even interested in visiting them. Their grandchildren gave up coming in this country long ago. No one was interested in his parents but still his parents kept waiting for them. He was so happy when his brother declared that he could have house. His brother was not bothered by it. He was still scared that his father might try to keep it on his brother’s name. But he was staying there so it was not possible. When his father died he sensed that it was not nominated. His mother was alive. He needed to take care for her. On that point his brother declared that he didn’t have interest in that flat. After long effort that house who was just old home in his brother’s eyes became on his joint name. But his mother was not so friendly with him. She kept blaming him for entire troubles in her life. His mother wanted him to earn a lot & bring a daughter-in-law who would take care of him. On that point he purchased small piece of land. He invested all his savings in it. He began to built his dream home on that land. Today finally it was made. Now he was planning to keep one caretaker for his Mom & he was going to shift. He needed his life. His Mom was so frustrating on each step. He was packing his stuff when he heard his Mom’s screams “ You are such unworthy son.” Then she started abusing him. He knew his Mom was not great lady but he didn’t expecting such type of language from her! Or he was expecting but still he was trying to ignore all. He didn’t say anything. His Mom kept saying “ You will suffer. You used our money for this new house. You never able to earn anything. Still you purchased that house & land from those saving & leaving me like this!” “ Mom I am not living you alone. There will be a nice caretaker. She will take more care of you than me. Mom I can’t cook so good. She will cook nicely too.” His Mom gave him angry look & started abusing again. He had enough. He just wanted to go out. He packed his things one by one. He managed to rent a nice truck. He didn’t know driving so he arranged driver too. That driver was watching all drama. He knew that to driver he might look like unworthy son too. But he didn’t have much option. He kept filling truck with his things. His packing was not great but he felt that it was enough. He just needed to go out of that house. He was running like mad man while carrying his things. He finally took deep breath when it was over. He waited for sometime. Then he saw lady who came to take care of his mother. She smiled sweetly towards him. He was so tense. She could hear screaming of his Mom. She might deny this job. But she just smiled & asked for house keys. He gave her keys of everything. He knew that he was trusting her too much. But he just wanted to go out of there. His life was stuck in strange way inside that place. He gave her nervous laugh & asked “ Can you handle her?” She said “ Don’t worry. This is regular job for me.” He nodded happily. Then he sat closed door & went towards seat beside driver. He closed door of truck. He told driver in urgency “ Just drive.” Driver nodded. But Driver gave him odd look. He kept looking behind in such a way as if he believed his mother might catch some Taxi & started following him. He knew that she couldn’t. But if it was possible for her she could have done it. She was oddly obsessed in staying with him whole time. Not just his mother even his father was same way. He kept telling his brother that he needed some time for himself but his brother never cared. Now clearly he wanted to shift in house he purchased with his own investment so his brother had no option but permit freedom to him. He was still scared someone might stop him. He kept telling himself all was just fine but still his mind was so tense. He began to concentrate on his breathing. Driver slowly asked “ Are you okay?” He smiled & said “ I am fine.” “ That woman?!..who was screaming..she is your mother..” he nodded. Driver gave odd smile. “ They get worst when they get older. They just want you understand your control. Are you married?” “ No.” “Then you need to go away & start your life..” he was confused. It was first time when someone told him that he didn’t need to take care of his parents. His parents were not loving towards him any way but still they always wanted him to respect & obey. He didn’t say anything. He kept telling himself that he would manage in limited money & he could start his life properly once again. He was feeling so upset by all. He didn’t feel positive in any way. He knew that he was planning to do new start. He wanted to create new hopes for mind. He smiled forcibly & said “ Now I will just concentrate on my future.” Driver nodded. Then traffic started once again driver concentrated on road. He was again back with his feelings of stress. He wanted to smile but it wasn’t working. He began to plan for future slowly with those thoughts smile developed on his face. He was so exhausted that he fall asleep without sensing. In his dream he was in a house. He was decorating all. But it kept falling down. He was so upset. He didn’t want his things to break. He wanted to feel positive about them. He was trying to keep them but they kept falling. Finally he woke up. He looked around. Sun was up he felt as if it was nearly afternoon. Driver smiled & said “ Are you woke up?” He nodded. “ Let’s stop & eat some lunch.” He looked out. He saw line of restaurant. He was so confused. He was scared to decide. He wanted something healthy. Then finally he decided to go in nice looking restaurant. It seemed clean & healthy. He needed just it. He told Driver to stop there. Driver nodded. Then Driver went away in his way. It was clear that Driver had planned some simple restaurant. Driver told him that he could call him whenever needed. Satish nodded & went towards restaurant he decided.
Satish went inside restaurant. He looked around. He kept checking each table carefully. It seemed as if he was scared that someone would come & do harm. He didn’t understand exactly what harm he might. It was frustrating. He tried his best to remain calm down. It was so upsetting. He didn’t understand he was waiting for whom. He knew that everything was fine. He didn’t needed to feel stressful due to situation. He knew that no one was there to follow him or scare him. His parents were his stress for him mentally but they couldn’t come here. He kept telling himself that he was safe. He was shivering when waiter came towards him. Waiter asked “ What did you want?” He sensed that he forgot to check menu. He observed it. He began to get stressed. He started to read menu. He began to read all items in menu step by step. He started to decide which one he needed to order. He was so confused. He began to sense that waiter was started getting upset. He smiled & began to ask “ I am getting confused in ordering items.” Now Waiter smiled & suggested some items. Waiter was happy that he was truly ordering. Waiter once again waited. This time he decided & gave order. Then he waited with patience for food to come. He didn’t understand what was wrong with him. He kept looking behind. He smiled towards his this attitude & began to think that he was once again becoming that small child which was scared of boogie man. He knew that no one was going to come & harm him. He began to open game in his mobile. On that point he felt strange cold wind. He began to smell perfume. He had no doubt that it was perfume which his Mom used whenever she went to parties. It was special for her. She used to say that due to it men get attracted towards her. He knew that just his father was not enough for his Mom. He knew that he must not think like that about his Mom. She was nice lady honest to his father. He knew that perfectly. He suddenly started to remember how did his Mom used to wear that colour which would impress some Uncle. He didn’t want to remember it. He told himself that it was just joke. She did it just for fun. He kept telling it to himself but his heart was telling totally different things. It was so scary. He knew she couldn’t come here. His Mom was not going to appear before him now. She was at home with that nurse. But he kept smelling her perfume. He was feeling so shocked. Then he suddenly sensed that some other customer might be using same perfume. He laughed & turned back. He saw that he was alone in hotel. He began to search for customers. He was so stressed when one family came. That family occupied table opposite window on far away corner. Clearly he was not nice man according to that family. He sensed that he was too dirty. He might needed to change his shirt. He called waiter & asked about changing room. Waiter showed him washroom. Waiter “ You can change in it. We don’t have other room. This hotel is very small.” He nodded. Then he took his bag & went towards washroom. It was not pleasant experience. That Washroom was very small & not so clean. Still he needed to change this clothes. He closed his eyes & told himself to act with patience. He changed everything & washed his face. Then he came out. He was feeling okay now. He saw his food was already table. He smiled & immediately started eating. It was really tasty. He didn’t remember when he ate in hotel last time. He always ate his food in house. His Mom always kept bossing on him while cooking. He didn’t like to cook anymore. At beginning he used to like cooking but now cooking was no longer his favourite hobby. He began to dislike it due to his Mom’s excessive bullying. He didn’t like it at all. He once again started to think about his Mom. It was so frustrating. He needed to think positively about all. He began to eat. His hands were still shivering. He just wanted to reach to his new home. He didn’t need anything else. He started eating. He was hungry so he managed to eat all very soon. Then he paid bill & he was about to turn back when he smelt that perfume again. He was so stressed. He literally ran out of restaurant. He called Driver. But Driver didn’t took his call. Finally he reached to his vehicle. He saw Driver was sleeping inside. He opened door. As soon as he entered, he began to feel better. He slowly started to think ways of waking up Driver. He was so frustrated. He just wanted to reach as soon as possible. Luckily after some time Driver woke up. Clearly Driver didn’t want to start immediately but when he said “ We must reach before night.” Driver nodded & started. After that entire journey was normal. But he kept sensing odd fear. He knew that no one was following him still he kept thinking as if every one was following him. He told himself one fear that gave reaction on his soul. He wanted to reach inside that home. Finally by evening he reached there. He knew that he needed to purchase furniture but he managed to get mattresses. He decided that he would order all items one by one. When he reached there, he smiled happily. Then he opened door. He loved smell of new painting. He looked around & smiled. It was really wonderful. He wanted to live in his house which was beautiful. He looked around. It was totally empty. He began to place his things inside. Driver helped him too. Driver asked when he paid him “ When your furniture is coming? You need all. Your house is totally empty.” He laughed & said “ I am planning to purchase all.” Driver nodded & said “ Bye.” He closed door. He felt so safe. He started to close every window & all doors. He wanted to stay inside without any fear. It was so scary. He didn’t want her to come inside. He suddenly sensed that he was thinking of some woman. He didn’t understand who. Then he began to remember that perfume. He felt so scared. He didn’t want her to come. But she couldn’t come. She was alive. But he was so scared. He began to unpack his luggage. He was so upset. He wanted to keep himself busy. He didn’t want to think about her.
Tara just understood that Satish was coming to stay in new house. Tara smiled happily. Satish was her childhood friend. They didn’t actual express anything towards each other but she kept feeling that he loved her. His parents were never wanted her to marry him. Tara didn’t understand why his Mom acted that way. Even her Mom was not happy with their attitude. Tara’s Mom once said “ Satish’s Mom is so selfish. She kept spraying perfume on her & keep trying to impress people but she didn’t even say one word about her son Satish or his future. She was not interested in his future. She wanted to cage him. Now finally Satish decided to come out of her influence. She wanted to support him. It was possible that he didn’t love her but still she was his friend. It was his first day at new house so she decided to pack food & some vegetables for her. She wanted to feel positive about all. But there was negativity in her mind. She knew that Satish didn’t call her but still her Mom encouraged her. She called Cab when she reached near house. She sensed that it was totally locked but light was on. She paid Cab driver & she started knocking. Satish was inside a room. All rooms were same. He was sitting in far away room. He wanted to feel positive but he had such negativity in his mind. He just wished only if he had packed some food from hotel. It was frustrating. On that point he heard knocking. He felt so scared. He didn’t want his Mom to come. He didn’t want her to trouble him. He kept closing his ears. Tara kept knocking. But no one was opening door. She didn’t understand what was wrong. Tara felt that someone was moving inside house. She felt so tense. She hoped that Satish was alright. She began to call his name loudly. Satish heard his name. Someone was calling his name. It was his Mom. He didn’t have any doubt about it. He began to cry & started screaming “ Mom go away.” He was screaming so loudly that Tara began to hear it. Tara could easily sense there was terror in that voice. She could sense anger in his soul. She knew that he needed help. She started to scream “ Satish it’s Tara. Your friend open door.” Satish was feeling so nervous. He started feeling nervous. He began to cry with control feelings. He wanted to keep his mind under control. He began to sense his Mom couldn’t come there. She was old & voice was young. He forced himself to stand up. He was totally panicked but he started to go towards door. Clearly voice was not of old lady. It could be Tara & he needed Tara now. He opened door. He slowly went inside. He smiled in pleasant way. He was shocked to see Tara. In his mind she was same college going girl. Then he sensed that he was grown up too. He was feeling so frustrated. But now he felt so peaceful. She was standing before him. He wanted to hug her but he controlled himself. He was feeling so stressed. He wanted to feel so happy & positive but still he kept getting upset. He invited her in house. Tara was watching her. She was feeling so positive regarding all. But now she was so tense. She saw odd look of madness in Satish’s eyes. He felt so restless. He started to smile but his smile was so incomplete. His thoughts were showing his fear. He knew that he needed help. He didn’t want to get desperate. But he was. He told her to come inside. His house was empty. He just sat on floor & started crying. Tara tried to calm him. Then he slowly told her all. Tara kept consoling him. Then finally Tara said “ I feel you need psychiatrist.” He wanted to argue but he couldn’t. He just nodded. Then she took out tiffin. She served food in plates which he had unpacked. Then both started eating. Slowly he began to feel positive. She began to talk about her family. He asked about her Mom. She told him that her Mom wanted to meet him too. He felt so happy. He seemed like totally mad man still Tara & her family was inviting him. He agreed happily to come next day. But he knew that Tara was right. He needed Doctor. As soon as Tara went out he called his family Doctor & explained all. His family Doctor gave him number of Psychiatrist. It needed travelling but he just wanted to relax. He immediately called Psychiatrist. Psychiatrist took his call. Then he told all. Psychiatrist gave him appointment. Psychiatrist said “ Today you might get restless sleep but I don’t suggest anything today . I was thinking to come tomorrow then we will start treatment.” Satish immediately agreed. He was so desperate but he didn’t want to take medicine without checking himself. He went in empty room. It was worst for him. He wanted to call Tara but he knew that it was wrong. He kept hearing voice of his Mom. He tried to use headphones & everything which could stop those voices but he couldn’t. He began to sense that they were inside his mind. His Mom was inside his mind. She was taunting him through his mind. He started crying. That night was one of worst night for him. His life was moving towards worst daily. He needed Psychiatrist. Next morning he woke up totally exhausted. He just searched something out of his bag to eat. Then he immediately called Cab. He fixed timing. He just wanted to visit Psychiatrist. It was essential for him. He was feeling so restless. He had eaten enough since he already started feeling strange in stomach. He knew that he needed to eat lunch too since it was appointment of late afternoon. He decided to go early. He waited. Finally Cab came. He was about to enter when Tara came. Tara asked him with shock “ Where are you going? You supposed to come to lunch today in my house!” He slowly said “ To Psychiatrist.” Tara gave smile. Tara asked for timing. He told afternoon time. Tara was shocked. Tara “ Why you are going so early?” “ I don’t want to sit in home & Cab is waiting.” Driver was watching them with impatience already. She nodded. Tara “ I will come with you.” He wanted her company. He was so scared so he agreed. Tara said “ I will call Mom & we will pick lunch.” So they sat in Cab. She requested Cab driver to stop for some moment before her home. At beginning Driver didn’t like it. But when she told her Mom would just give tiffin. Driver agreed. She called her Mom. Her Mom was waiting with tiffin. Then her Mom even gave some sweets which were as blessing of God. He took it & they went ahead. Whole time he was scared but Tara was helping him to relax. Finally he fall asleep. Tara was so glad. Then she woke him for lunch. They ate during travelling only. They reached early. They paid Cab & went in clinic. Tara went to receptionist & asked if they could get early appointment. Receptionist didn’t promise but after two hours they got chance. Satish went inside. Tara sat outside. Satish told all to Psychiatrist. Psychiatrist listened then Psychiatrist explained him how did he supposed cope with his fear. He felt so positive when he came. Psychiatrist gave him some medicines too. He sat with Tara. Then he slowly thanked her. They went to chemist. They purchased medicines. He knew that it was his new journey. He needed to fight this fear but he was glad that Tara was with him. He smiled happily towards her. He decided that one day he would propose her & get married. But on that day Tara called Cab. He returned back to his house & she went back to her house.
