Sandip's job in shop
Sandip was so
happy when he got nice bike from his parents. It was his lucky day. He was
doing everything as per their want. He was working hard to make them happy. He spent
his day & night in fulfilling wishes of his parents. Sandip’s parents were
telling him to do many things. He helped his dad in recording all household
budget in computer. He made it easy to collect all information about different
part of expenses of household. It managed to make everything so easy for his
dad. He helped his mom in kitchen too. He never went in kitchen that much but
this time he cooked in kitchen for hours. It was hard task but he loved it. He
was so happy that it got appreciated. He finally got bike. He loved bikes but
he wanted car more than bike. He knew that it was impossible to get one. He
smiled to himself & began to take care of his bike. On that point he
suddenly heard loud voice. He was shocked when he saw his elder brother Pradip
was driving car. He knew that Pradip wanted car but he knew that his parents
were not ready to give money. But today Pradip was driving brand new car.
Sandip went near car but he didn’t ask anything. Pradip smiled & said “ I
convinced mom that she required car to attend wedding of Auntie’s daughter. I
told her everyone would come in car. But mom needed to book cab. It would look
odd. I can act like her driver. Of course, it will be hard to drive so much.
But I will find some friend to do it for me. My friends needed to go there for
some work. That friend will love if I give him car for a day. He will act like
servant for mom. Isn’t it wonderful?! I will give one chauffer to Mom but that
chauffer will feel I am doing favor by giving him car to drive!” Pradip started
laughing loudly. Sandip felt so nervous. He worked so hard for bike while
Pradip got car without doing anything. Sandip didn’t understand why did his
parents did that. It was so upsetting. He worked so hard for that bike. Then he
thought that it was okay. He just wanted bike. He smiled & began to ride.
As his bike started to ride, he began to feel as if he was riding on wind.
Slowly he was on top of the world. He was feeling so fresh & positive. His
soul was so positive regarding all. He knew that he was entering in different
world through his mind. He kept riding on wind & feeling hopeful with each
thought. He knew that his every thought was bringing positive step in mind. He
was no longer concerned about anything. He was just happy with his parents
since he got his bike. He reached to his destination. His small shop! It
belonged to his grandfather. His Uncle & his father both worked in it. It
was family business. He started working in it after graduation. Someone needed
to work there. His elder brother Pradip was already working on company on large
salary. If they wanted some share from shop one family member needed to work.
He became that member. He was happy with his life. He was not as ambitious as
Pradip. Sandip was happy with his bike & his grandfather’s shop. His life
was great.
Sandip was totally positive
regarding his life. He was moving ahead on every step with hope. In shop that
day he managed to sell many things to customers. He was on top of the world
about it. He was having success after such a long time. He came back in his
home with positive attitude. All were sitting on dinner table. Mom cooked nice
dinner. Sandip always loved mom’s cooking. He was fond of it. He felt so
positive due to it. He sat on dinner table. He began to look towards dinner
items. He was so happy. Today suddenly entire world looked positive to him.
Sandip smiled & said “Mom your dinner is great!” Mom smiled happily
“Really? But now you are great cook too.” Pradip began to laugh. Pradip “So
Sandip is learning to cook in kitchen now! Great! His wife will be happy. She
will work in office & he will do cooking & take care of children.”
Sandip felt so angry. He said loudly & with confidence “I will.” Dad gave him a look which told him clearly that
he was most useless person of world. He knew that he supposed to look positive
but he was looking negative. Sandip felt so shocked. He did so many things for
his parents & Pradip did nothing still Pradip got costlier gift. Now Pradip
was receiving admiration for not helping. Sandip couldn’t stop himself any
more. Sandip “Dad, I helped you & mom but instead of appreciating you are
criticising me.” Dad “Since you deserve it. You are working just in one family
business. Those things you want to sell didn’t give you much income. Have you thought
about it?” Sandip never thought this way. Sandip “But I felt that you wanted me
to work there.” “Of course! Some one needed to. But I never forced you. You
could have find another job.” He was so shocked. He knew that on that time his
dad was so happy when he joined. Now his dad was talking in different way. It
was so painful. Sandip “So you want me to find another job?” Dad nodded. Sandip
felt so sad. Pradip immediately added “Do you feel now he can get job? I mean
he took such a break after graduation. What reason he can give?” “I joined my
shop to help my family?” His dad & Pradip both laughed. Then Pradip said “You
can lie like.” But his dad added “But who will believe it? I am perfectly
healthy man!” Sandip felt so sad & cheated. They were laughing on him. Sandip
felt so helpless. He knew that now he needed to find some job. Then his dad
declared “Uncle wanted to run that shop but I don’t so I want you to stop
selling there.” Pradip “Dad you are so right. It would be better if Sandip find
new job.” Sandip felt so sad. He was just learning truths of life. He worked so
hard to in return he got nothing.
Next day Sandip
felt so hopeless. He decided to not go to shop. He called Uncle & told him.
Uncle sounded upset but then Uncle said in low voice “I can understand you can
do as you wish.” He wanted to tell them that he wanted to work but his father
didn’t but he didn’t dare to say it. He felt so nervous in his mind. He
couldn’t tell anything. He just said nervously “Dad wants me to find new job.”
“Oh! I understand.” Uncle seemed to understood but Sandip couldn’t. He knew
that he was moving on wrong way. He felt so sad. He just said in shaky voice “I
am sorry.” Uncle said with artificial happiness “It’s okay. All the best to
you.” Sandip could easily sense that his uncle was not happy. Sandip knew that
he couldn’t do anything about it. He needed to search for job & he decided
to start it as soon as possible. He was feeling so nervous. He managed to find
some places where they offered jobs for candidate like him. He decided to go
there. He reached to every place with hope. But they were not interested in
him. It was clear that they wanted experienced person with more education.
Sometimes he felt that they already managed to decide one candidate for them.
That post was never open for all to interview. They had specific person in
their mind. He felt so sad. He was so nervous. He came home feeling sad &
hopeless. Pradip was sitting on dinner table with his dad already. Dad smiled
after seeing Sandip’s face. Dad “So you don’t got job! Did you?” Sandip nodded
negatively. Pradip “I told you that no one will keep Sandip on job. He is not
useful person. He couldn’t get job. It’s impossible.” Sandip felt more upset. Then
mom came. Mom told him to eat. Sandip nodded. Dad “From tomorrow you can help
mom in kitchen but don’t go in that shop. I want to sell that shop. If you work
there your uncle will use it as excuse.” Sandip didn’t want to agree. But he
didn’t have much option. Sandip once again felt so helpless. He was stuck in
strange trap. Sandip needed new job but he couldn’t find one. He felt so upset.
When he finished dinner, he immediately ran in kitchen to help his mom. He
preferred to work with mom. It was so frustrating for him to sat beside his dad
& Pradip. He felt so depressed. Pradip saw it & said to Dad “Now Sandip
would just stay in kitchen entire day.” “It’s okay. I just don’t want him to go
in that shop.” Sandip started feel so negative. He was spending every day to
help his mom instead of going in shop. He began to work hard but he knew that
it was useless in every one’s eyes. He was searching hard for job. One day he
finally decided to give up. He took his bike & drove it as fast as
possible. He had accident & landed in hospital. One thing was clear that it
managed to make his life more miserable since his dad spent more money on him due to accident, he was facing handicap. His dad even said “That’s why I
gave you just bike & not car? You are useless person always manage to damage
all.” On that point he regretted his decision of attempting suicide. He decided
to visit psychiatrist.
Sandip’s dad
taunted him when he suggested need of visiting psychiatrist but he ignored it.
Sandip knew that he tried to kill himself he needed help. It was risky to delay
it. He immediately took appointment. Psychiatrist listened to all. Then
Psychiatrist suggested that he should start working in shop again. “They can’t
provide you job then why you need to leave your last job? Think yourself as
employer not owner.” Sandip agreed. From next day Sandip began to go in that
shop. His dad taunted but he ignored. He even began to find some restaurant
with help of his uncle to start. He could cook nicely. But it was too costly
finally he started his tiffin service in their existing shop only. His dad
& Pradip taunted but he just decided to ignore. He was happy in his life
& he knew that he wanted just that happiness. He could be happy in limited
money. Uncle was not ready to sell shop so finally his dad & Pradip needed
to give up that place since his cousin decided to support running shop only.
Pradip was only one who wanted to sell so it was impossible for Pradip to sell.
Finally, Sandip’s life got settled. Sandip knew that Pradip might manage to sell
shop one day but Sandip could easily start his tiffin service from home &
Sandip had decided that he would never give up on his home. He would try to
fight for shop & home both. He needed them. He wanted his life &
happiness Pradip was no longer going to dominate him.
