Tushar's inheritance
Tushar started to feeling so hopeful. He was planning to start his new business now. He decided to start small shop. He didn’t exactly decided which items he should sell. He knew one thing that he wanted to start some shop. But for it he needed some capital. He had place. His Uncle just died & he was his only heir so he got that shop automatically. He never visited it. He was excited about it. He knew that he would surely find some way to make it useful. He had so many schemes. He began to drive his car. It was second hand but it was in excellent condition. He started to drive peacefully on road while watching both sides of it. He was so happy when he noticed big hotels & big shops. He was so excited. He kept driving ahead. It was getting so tiresome. He was keep driving ahead & ahead. He couldn’t believe that Uncle’s shop could be located in forest. He began to laugh at that thought. He knew that shop couldn’t be in forest. He kept driving finally he stopped & asked one old man “ They said my Uncle own this “Blue Sun” Shop do you know where it is?” That old man gave tired look & said “ It’s far away. Keep going straight.” He felt so frustrated. “ But it’s Shop it couldn’t be so inside. How can you sell goods on that far away point.” That old man laughed. “ It was not shop of goods my Son! It was shop of funeral things. There use to grave yard once on that sight so it was kept there. Then they shifted Grave Yard it was too far away so your Uncle tried to sell refreshments to travellers. Actually that shop is just waste of money. No one purchase it. It just remain there near that old Grave Yard.” Tushar gave that old man sad look. Tushar was expecting something different. Tushar said “ But I finally got it from my Uncle need to see what is it exactly?” That old man nodded. That old man “ It is property you can’t just say you don’t want it after all you are also going to pay Taxes for it.” He nodded. Suddenly this property started to look like burden to him. He wanted to feel normal but he began to feel stressed. He just smiled towards that Old man & thanked him. He went ahead. He kept driving ahead. Soon he sensed that this shop was so far away. He didn’t feel that it was going to be of any use. Still he kept driving. He was shocked when he saw it. It was small bungalow which was looking like some haunted house. Uncle was using it that was clear since it still had shop signboard. Then there were prices of products written. He began to feel so upset. Suddenly his stomach started to pain in strange way. He always felt conscious about stomach issues. He knew that they were not big thing but for him they were. Now on this spot he looked around. He soon sensed that he was totally lonely. He looked around so hard. He wanted to feel hopeful but he just kept feeling lonely. He felt that entire world around him was shattering in pieces. He promised his wife Nisha new business. His Kids were waiting for him with hope that their Dad would bring photos of wonderful shop & some items as free token. But with this old shop he didn’t see any hope of future. He just saw darkness ahead without much hope. He just kept watching. He knew that he needed to go in that shop. He slowly went near it. He started to apply keys. It were just not working. He was so tense. Then he sensed that he might needed to use some oil. He didn’t understand if his Uncle was using this shop how did it became so worst. But then he told himself that it was not his business. He didn’t need to think about it. He just decided to apply those keys & go inside. He kept trying. Then suddenly he began to hope that this might be wrong place. He began to hope for something better. He just didn’t mind one small stall but it needed to be near town. Then suddenly it opened. He sensed that key belonged to that house only. He slowly opened it. On that point he sensed that something was inside. Before he could stop himself. He sensed that that thing attacked him. He felt so much pain. Then suddenly it vanished. He turned around. It was cat. But he was hurt. He could sense pain. He could taste something different in mouth. He began to sense that it might be his blood. He literally ran to car. In mirror he watched his face. It was scratched. He was looking so horrible. He looked like something out of horror or suspense movie. He felt so scared. He started to think that this scar might be permanent. He shivered at that thought. He didn’t want them to be permanent. He wanted to remove them. He immediately called Doctor. He was on verge of crying. Out of his tear he slowly told Doctor “ I went in house. My face is ugly. A cat attacked me.. I can’t tell.” He began to cry again. Doctor said “ Give me your location.” He was so confused. “ I don’t know. I am literally in no man’s land.” “ Nonsense! You are just little bit away from Town & you are nervous. You need to calm down & answer me.” He looked around. “ I can’t see anything.” “ Tell me your route.” He slowly explained. Then Doctor said “ I sent you route of Hospital. Go there & ask for this Doctor. He would do treatment & give medicine. Don’t worry this will go away.” He thanked Doctor. He went as per told. He ran inside hospital. He asked for Doctor but Nurse started his first Aid as soon as he entered. Then Receptionist called Doctor. That Doctor told to send him immediately. Doctor did all treatment carefully. Then Doctor said with smile “ Don’t worry these marks will go away & if they don’t we can do needed surgery on them.” He shivered with fear. “ What surgery? Plastic surgery?!” Doctor laughed. “ Don’t worry. This is not something like movie. I don’t feel this need surgery. These marks just needed time to heal.” He nodded. Then Doctor gave him prescription. Doctor told him where he could get medicine & then Doctor told him to go. Tushar “ I can’t drive all the way to home now?” “ Then go back to that shop!” “ But that cat?” “ It will not come.” “ I am so scared. Can’t you keep me in hospital for one day?” “ Sorry you need rooms for serious patient.” “ I don’t want to go back.” “ Okay. If you are scared of cat. Then you can make payment & I send one ward boy to take care of you. You are okay physically but mentally you are shattered so you might need one in night if your BP increase.” Tushar nodded & Doctor arranged one ward boy.
Tushar was so scared to return to that shop. He knew that he needed to inform his wife so he called Mina. Mina sounded so scared. Mina “ I want to come there.” “ & what about kids?” Mina didn’t say anything. Mina knew that she couldn’t travel at that time with her sons. Both boys were small. She couldn’t expect them to help her in travelling but she wanted to go there. She controlled her tears & asked “ Are you alone?” “ No..no one ward boy will stay with me.” “ Then give mobile to ward boy I want to talk.” Tushar felt frustrated but he had no option. On that point ward boy just came. He was introduced as Raju. Raju didn’t appear someone friendly to Tushar. Tushar slowly told “ My wife wanted to talk.” Raju smiled & nodded. “ Hello Madam. Don’t worry I will take nice care of Sir.” “ What happened him? Can you send picture on my mobile?” “ Yes. I will. It’s better to remain prepared than feeling shocked.” Tushar didn’t wanted to but he didn’t have much option. He permitted. Then Ward boy sent it. Then Ward boy gave mobile to him. Tushar waited for her response. He didn’t want her to feel so bad about his look that she might began to reject him totally. He was so tense. He didn’t understand what was her feelings. He kept feeling tense. He looked around. She didn’t say anything finally he said “ I need to go bye.” He disconnected call. He fold Raju. “ Let’s go.” He slept in car & let Raju drive it. When they went inside, Tushar looked so shocked. Tushar started to sense that he needed to feel normal. All shop was perfect inside. It was like nice cottage. It had lots of items which were useful for funerals. He kept watching them. He never thought how many things people needed on funeral. For him person just needed to burn dead body. But in this shop he saw plenty required things. He sensed that people wanted that dead body to look nice. They wanted to dress it up. He felt so nervous. He said slowly “ I needed to throw all these things.” Raju “ Why?! You need to sell them. You can’t expect to sell something else in this place! It is near funeral ground.” “ No. Now they don’t even have funeral ground here. It is shifted,” “ Then what is use of this place?” “ I don’t know. I just inherited it & on first visit this cat attacked me. This place clearly brought misfortune on me.” Raju nodded too. Raju “ These types of places are never good for luck. Look towards this place. It’s door is on wrong position & it’s shape was wrong too.” Tushar felt so confused. He never heard about such things. He knew that few people told about wrong sort of houses & right sort of houses. But he never paid attention. He didn’t even want to do interior of this house. Actually it was not house but it was shop. He began to get upset. Tushar “ I just don’t care for this thing any more. It brought bad luck on me.” Raju looked shocked. Raju “ You can’t waste such a property. Are you rich?” “ No..no but I am scared.” “ Don’t worry. It is not so bad.” Tushar nodded. But he had already saw his face. He knew that Mina was going to hate those marks. He knew that she wouldn’t leave him for them but she didn’t come near him in normal way too. She would feel nervous. He started to look around for some place to sleep. Soon he found one bedroom. His Uncle kept all perfectly but that cat was inside. He didn’t understand how did it entered. He suddenly began to check every window. He said “ Raju we must close all windows that cat must not enter.” Raju agreed to this. Raju did it then Raju asked “ & what about our food? You need to plan for our evening snacks & dinner.” Tushar felt so confused. He didn’t plan for it. Then he noticed cupboard. It was full of readymade products & fast-food. He checked further. It had different sort of drinks too. He was not sure that he was permitted to drink alcohol with medicines. But he suddenly felt that he didn’t care. Without second thought he took out one bottle of wine & took out one packet of chips & biscuits. Then Raju came inside & he took out on noodle packet, Raju “ They will be our dinner. Today we will eat just junk.” Tushar thought Raju would object alcohol but Raju just took out glasses & said “ Just don’t blame me if you got sick & don’t tell Doctor I permit it.” Tushar nodded. He sensed one thing that Raju didn’t care for him. Raju was not good ward boy. But at that point he didn’t care. He kept drinking & eating without thought. He was so drunk that he didn’t even able to take his mobile when it was ringing. But he didn’t care. He saw his face & it was completely damaged. He was ugly. He kept watching his face for hours. His face was looking so horrible. He didn’t want to watch his face in mirror. It was sending shivers in his heart. That cat managed to destroy his life. He finally fall in strange sleep. His alcohol & medicines both managed to take him to condition of losing conscious. He didn’t care what was happening to him. He just wanted to forget all. He didn’t even sense that Raju slowly went out of house. Raju got his money & he didn’t care for his patient any more. In face Raju was not planning to work as ward boy anymore. He managed to do lots theft in hospital. He knew that soon administration might find out so he just wanted to run away. Raju quickly got ready to drive car. Raju didn’t care if Tushar stayed alone in that house without car for hours. Raju just wanted to escape. In fact Raju was hoping that Tushar might have heart attack due to drinking while taking medicines. Raju didn’t know exact side effects. He never cared to study all with so much attention. Raju just took car keys & escaped from that house. Raju was about to go out when that cat jumped on him. Raju tried to escape but it was useless. Raju kept screaming but no one came. Raju couldn’t even sense in which direction he was running to escape from cat. He used all his strength & threw that cat on rock. Cat screamed loudly then voice of cat was stopped. He kept running as far as possible without thinking. Raju shivered when he was far away. He checked his face. But it was not hurt. Raju smiled happily. Cat just managed to scratch him little bit. But then Raju sensed that he was in trees. He kept running around to find route. But he couldn’t. He managed to lost his way totally.
Mina kept calling Tushar again & again. She was so upset. Finally she decided to call her Doctor. Doctor immediately took her call & said “ Do you know address of Tushar’s shop? We need to find him immediately!” “ Why? What happened?“ “ That ward boy! He was criminal. You just filed Police complaint. Tushar isn’t taking call. Cops want address. They must catch ward boy. Raju needed to get arrested.” Mina began to feel so tense. She didn’t know where that shop. She slowly said “ You need to ask lawyer. Actually he inherited it so just went there.” “ You don’t have address?” She felt so sad but answer was “ No.” Tushar never told her much. Tushar always kept going everything as per his wishes. She wanted to keep asking questions. But last time when she asked he threw away things of dinner table in anger. She cooked many things which kids liked. He knew it but he didn’t care. He wanted to hurt them & her since she asked where he was going. She was never supposed to ask. She slowly said “ He never told where he was going.” Doctor said angrily “ He was always stubborn. Now how hard it will be to convince Cops..” “ I send you number of Lawyer. He would tell address of properly.” Doctor liked this idea. Doctor took it & gave Cops. Doctor “ His wife said she didn’t know properly lawyer would tell perfectly.” Cops smiled happily. Cops “ Great. Talking to lawyers always help. They tell a lot better than family.” Then Cops discussed finally. They told Doctor to come with them. Doctor “ But my patients are waiting.” “ Trust us you will get patient there too.” Doctor had no option. He called another friend to tell patients that clinic was closed due to Police matter. Doctor knew that everyone would take Police matter seriously. Then Doctor went to that address with Cops. They all took lots of time to reach on that point. Finally they reached to that shop. They saw it was locked from outside. Cop “ Maybe they went away?” Doctor “ But where?” Constable “ Sir let’s just break this lock & go inside. I smell some alcohol. Cop “ You can smell everything. You have so great smelling capacity!” Constable laughed & said “ Many say I will give competition to Police dog.” Both Cops laughed. Doctor was so upset. He didn’t like the way they were joking. But he knew that he couldn’t blame them. Cops needed to handle these situation daily so nothing new for them. They needed to learn to accept them & enjoy life. They could keep feeling sad on every crime. Doctor “ Let’s just open it.” “ Yes..yes.” Soon Cops did lots of efforts & finally broke that lock. They were shocked when they found Tushar unconscious. At beginning they thought Raju did something then soon they noticed that glass of alcohol. They sensed that he was fainted due to drinking. Doctor sensed risk so immediately called Ambulance. Then Doctor went away with it while Cops stayed there to catch Raju. When Doctor came in hospital with Tushar, Physician who treated Tushar got so angry. “ I told this fellow to take care of health & he got drunk. Now we need to check all. Clearly it was going to get risky. Call his wife.” “ It will be harassment for her. Actually marriage is harassment for her forever.” “ I can easily guess. This fellow was not ready to listen to Doctor. It must be impossible for wife to force to tell him anything.” “ He would start throwing all items around.” “ I feel he might needed Psychiatrist treatment!” “ I feel same.” Then Tushar was taken inside for all tests. Doctor called Mina. Mina immediately took it. Mina told that she would come with her brother. Day of happiness to my sister. This marriage was big mistake.” Doctor “ Don’t worry. After Psychiatric treatment. He will fine..” “ What will be cost of it?” Clearly Mina’s brother was not ready to spend money. Mina “ I will arrange.” Her brother gave her angry look “ Don’t be stupid! You don’t understand..” Doctor sensed that entire issue was not started by only Tushar Mina’s entire family was odd. Mina was clearly stressed. Mina said slowly out of tears “ He needed treatment.” Her brother began to raise voice when they heard Tushar’s screams. It was clear that he was woke up & hallucinating cat. Doctor turned to Mina’s brother & asked “ Do you want to take him home like that?” “ No..no..Mina could book one room & keep nurse.” Then physician who was doing treatment of Tushar came out. “ No need of room or Nurse. We need to send him in psychiatric department. Mina nodded happily. She knew that he needed treatment. Mina said “ Can I meet him?” “ Yes..” Mina went inside. He began to cry. “ You hate my ugly face now you will divorce me.” She smiled sweetly. “ I am little bit scared but not so much that I will divorce you. But you kept seeing that cat.” He nodded. “ You need to stay in psychiatric department.” “ That cat made me mad.” “ Don’t worry Doctor will cure you.” He nodded. He smiled. After many years he looked normal to her even in that wounded condition. Then they slowly took him away. Mina returned to her house with her brother. She slowly hugged her kids & told them all step by step. “ Mom Dad was acting strange since long time.” “ Since he started drinking.” She didn’t say anything. She relaxed herself & said “ He will be okay now.” Her brother said “ I am going away. Don’t call me again. Now you need to manage on your own.” Mina smiled & said “ Don’t worry. Tushar will be back soon.” She decided that until then she would manage that shop. She might turn it in some restaurant or she could shift in it since she knew that she couldn’t afford that house soon. She might needed to sell. But she was no longer scared. She knew that Tushar would be fine now so she would get support & her life would be normal once again. Her kids were smiling too. They all hoped normal life & they were ready to manage in low income too.
