Adventure story. 555. Charu’s crying

                                                          Charu’s crying 

Charu was going to visit her grandmother. It was not entertaining to her but she knew that it was her duty. Her grandmother used to love her a lot. She used to visit her many times during vacation. She used to enjoy visiting her. She remembered all childhood pleasant memories. Her Grandmother used to take her to beaches to collect shells. She loved many shells. Those shells were having different designs. Those shell were giving beautiful colours which created fresh appeal to mind. She kept looking towards those shells. They used to give her dreams. She used to feel so happy about it. She knew that those were old days. She didn’t enjoy it that much now. She wanted to walk on beach on wonderful sand. But now that beach was not like this. It was modern with wonderful parks & sitting arrangement. That beach was no longer that old fashioned beach. People loved that decorations & arrangements. They felt more comfortable on this beach. She began to feel upset. She wanted back that old beach but it was not going to come. She just began to dislike entire place. Then whenever she went to her grandmother started to ask her about her future plans. She tried to explain them but grandmother didn’t like them. She wanted certainty in those plans. But her every plan seemed uncertain. She wanted to make them promising but she couldn’t avoid uncertainty from them. She was so sad. She didn’t want her grandmother to keep pointing about her defects. She kept telling her to ignore it. She was so frustrated since her grandmother didn’t understand what she was telling. It seemed as if her grandmother was stuck on one question. Her grandmother was not moving over it. That day she was so frustrated. She wanted to avoid going there but she didn’t have much option. Her grandmother was her responsibility too. She wanted to show attachment to her. But when her grandmother kept asking about her marriage she was frustrated. She wanted to get married but she couldn’t find a boy. She tried to meet boys but most of them didn’t took interest in her. They had different demands & she couldn’t fulfil them. Then in some cases she didn’t like boys. But one thing was clear that she didn’t want to discuss this issue with her grandmother. It was upsetting for her. She took deep breath before knocking on door. For long time no one opened door. She knew that it was wrong with wish that way but for moment she hoped that her grandmother might be dead. Then she started to feel guilty about it. She was wishing for death of her innocent old grandmother! She was becoming cruel day by day. She was getting stressed out. She needed to feel relaxed but instead she was feeling upset. She began to knock loudly. Then finally she heard footsteps. She felt so relaxed. She wanted her grandmother to be safe. Then her grand!mother opened door. She smiled. Her grandmother looked confused. Look on her grandmother’s face managed to scare her. She didn’t want to look like that when she grew old. But she knew that she would. Charu smiled & asked “ How are you?” Her grandmother immediately looked behind & asked “ Where is your father?” Her grandmother was interested just in her son not granddaughter. But Charu’s father never wanted to waste time in visiting his old mother. He kept saying “ I need to earn which is more important! Only money can help my Mom in old age. We need to find good servants etc for her..” But those servants never appeared. Her father was not interested in spending money on his old Mom. Her father was not interested in spending money on anyone except himself. He was very selfish man! Her grandmother managed to make him that way by giving extra pampering. Every time he got wherever he wanted. Charu “ He is busy.” Grandmother immediately nodded & smiled with admiration. Grandmother “ Your Dad work so hard. You must learn from him & follow his footsteps. He is so impressive to all..” she was so irritated by this. Her Dad was not helpful to her in any way. She never saw his that side which people were admiring. Any way she didn’t dare to oppose Grandmother she didn’t want to create issue. She knew that they all would say just one thing that he was feeding her. She knew that she needed to earn but whenever she tried to do something in her own way. Her Dad objected. Entire family supported him. Her career was become hopeless due to her over dominating father who never had time to help her. He kept doing all to please people but never did anything to help her. She knew that she couldn’t tell it to her grandmother. For her grandmother he was God. Her grandmother literally worshipped her son. She tried her best to control her anger. She went in kitchen & said “ Grandma I will cook something nice for you.” Her Grandma nodded. She knew that kitchen was best hide out. Her grandmother never entered in kitchen until it was necessary. Her grandmother was not fond of cooking that much. Her grandmother always admired ready made food. Now she could order food on Internet easily. She was arranging all. So her father was happy with his mother. But his mother needed daily visits from someone. Charu was only person in house who could go. According to her Dad she needed to go & visit instead of trying to settle her career. Her Dad wanted her to make career but it must something from his choice & something which could provide immediate money. She didn’t wanted it. She wanted her freedom & happiness. Her career was not giving her money but she wanted to spend some time on it. She wanted to read book or she desired to do research. But they didn’t want it. She decided that she could read information. But for it she needed time but her Dad kept telling her that she must visit grandmother. Then she needed to cook for her. Now her Dad wanted to avoid charges of ready made food so she supposed to go & cook. She was so frustrated. She was coming here again & again these days. She just needed to do it all. She was taking care of all but still no one valued it. She wanted to cry but she didn’t.

   Charu’s grandmother was watching TV happily. She was so happy that she could get home cooked food now. She didn’t want to cook & she didn’t even find suitable servant. Her last maid was cooking everything with so much chilly that she couldn’t able to eat it. Grandmother wanted homemade food but she needed to someone to do it for her. She began to arrange all by using her granddaughter Charu. She called her son. She told him “ Your daughter is just sitting in home why don’t you send her to me? She can at least cook in my house! It will surely save money.” Her son immediately agreed. She knew that her son didn’t like Charu that much. Her son wanted boy but he never said it before all. He always pretended that he was modern. He kept pretending that he wanted a girl who would stand strongly in man’s world. But in his heart he just wanted to keep Charu inside house. He wanted to marry her off to some one from whom he could gain profit. He was planning her marriage with one boy who was son of his friend. He heard that boy was having habit of drinking but he had habit of drinking too. He felt that it was okay but Charu didn’t want to marry that boy. Her son, Charu’s Dad just wanted her marriage with that boy so he was not planning to introduce her to anyone else. He wanted her to just marry him so he needed to reduce her confidence. Charu needed to keep cooking in kitchen or she needed to do some work like that. Her grandmother was planning to reduce her confidence by taunting her every day. According to her grandmother it was wrong to say no to a boy. If she was told to marry then she must marry. Her grandmother was thinking how did she would taunt Charu. Inside kitchen Charu was cooking. Sometimes she just wanted to put something in that food. She wanted to kill her grandmother. Then she started to regret that thought. She began to cook again. She did lunch & she called her grandmother. Her grandmother came on table to eat food. Charu arranged all & served it. Her grandmother began to eat. Charu was serving. Grandmother “ Your food is good. But still you need to make some plan regarding future. You need to plan for..” Suddenly her grandmother stopped talking. Charu was confused. Her grandmother began to get breathless. Charu started to feel nervous. She remembered that she cooked entire food in perfect way. She wanted to poison her grandmother but she didn’t. When she saw her getting breathless, she started to feel restless. Charu wanted to call Doctor but she was so scared. She didn’t remember if she put something in food. Finally she sensed that she didn’t have much option. She called Doctor. Then she called neighbours too. She came back. On that time her grandmother was sitting in strange position. She was looking far away. Her eyes were looking so strange. They had empty feeling in them. She was so scared. Doctor came to check her. Doctor told that she was dead. Charu shivered with fear. She ran in kitchen. She was so sure that she must had dropped something in food. She began to search what she might had used. But she didn’t find anything. She was so confused. She didn’t come in senses until Auntie from neighbourhood didn’t put hand on her shoulder. Auntie gave sad & weak smile. Auntie gave her mobile & said “ Tell me number I will call your parents.” She nodded. She gave number to Auntie. Auntie began to call. For long time no one took it. Finally her Dad took it. Then Auntie told him everything. Her parents came home. But they didn’t look so much emotional. They just wanted to just get over. Charu’s Mom went near her & told her “ You can go home. We will handle it.” Charu nodded. She called Taxi. She sat happily in Taxi. She wanted to go away from there. When she went home, she went to take bathe. She started to clean herself. She wanted to clean her dirt. She knew that she was doing this since she wanted to get rid of those memories. She kept seeing her grandmother’s face. She wanted to clean all those memories. She used perfume on herself. She began to sense that she was looking perfect now. She began to feel relaxed. She started to feel so pleased. She went out & immediately door bell rang. She opened door. Some relatives were standing. They immediately made sad face. They started expressing sorrows on her grandmother’s death. She didn’t understand what she supposed to say. She should welcome them or just keep expressing sorrows. But she started to cry. She wanted to control but she couldn’t. Those relatives began to get nervous. They took her inside & started to console her. She calm down after sometime. Then they went away. She wanted to control her feelings but whenever someone mentioned her grandmother she began to cry uncontrollably. Her parents began to look towards her in strange way. One day finally her Mom said “ You were never so attached to grandmother why you are feeling so sad?” She didn’t say anything. She was having nightmares daily. She began to feel sure that in anger she managed to poison her grandmother. She didn’t want to face it. She kept hiding her feelings. She was getting so restless. She wanted to forget all. But she didn’t want to remember her grandmother but her parents kept her nice picture in hall. Every one was admiring it. She tried to become normal but she began to sense that she was not acting in normal way at all. She tried to avoid people since she felt scared that they might mention her grandmother & she didn’t want to cry again. She knew that if someone took name of her grandmother then she immediately started crying. She wanted to do her job & boyfriend but she couldn’t keep herself normal so it was impossible for her to find anything. She used to love her work but now she began to dislike it. She was so confused. Her Dad kept insisting to her that she must marry to son of his friend. She didn’t have much option. She needed to do all her Dad want. She wanted to look normal.

       Charu prepared herself to meet that boy. She wanted to get ready but clearly her Dad was not interested. He insisted that she must not waste time & she got dressed in normal way. She went there with her parents . That boy was not so impressive. Her parents sat in hall while she went in other room with that boy to talk with him. She didn’t like him but she knew that she had her problems. She needed to adjust. She smiled. But that boy was not talking sweetly. He began to taunt her. She started to get restless. She didn’t want to talk with him. She took breath of relief when she finally came back in hall. She knew one thing that she couldn’t marry this boy. She went out of that house & immediately told this to her parents. Her Dad was very angry. He started abusing her before all. He began to talk about her grandmother. She wanted to stop crying but she couldn’t. He kept screaming “ This girl is becoming mad. My mother is dead since two years but still she is crying. She need a psychiatrist. You are not taking her to one. You don’t understand her madness. She is mad.” Charu looked around. She sensed that everyone was watching towards her. She was trying so hard to control her tears. Finally she reached home. She sat in room alone. She kept watching out of window. She began to feel so worthless. On that point she didn’t wanted to marry that boy at any cost. She couldn’t stay with him. Suddenly her Mom came in room. Her Mom said slowly “ Charu you need Psychiatrist. You keep crying at mention of your grandmother & it is not normal.” She said “ Mom I am ready to visit Psychiatrist but I don’t want to marry that boy.” Mom looked relieved. “ Don’t worry. I will manage it.” Her Mom phoned a common friend & told that one she was not interested in this marriage. After it that boy surely didn’t try to contact her. She took breath of relief. Then her Mom decided to call their family Doctor. She told entire incidence. Then Doctor gave her number of Psychiatrist. Charu’s Mom took it immediately. After it they took appointment. It was after week. Charu kept avoiding her Dad after it. She could hear his talking many things against her. But she didn’t go out. She didn’t want to marry that boy. She kept using headphones to avoid hearing him. Finally they went to Psychiatrist. Charu began to tell all but soon Psychiatrist sensed that she was not telling her everything. Psychiatrist suggested Mom to go out. Then slowly she told him about her fear. She told him how did she wished that she could kill her grandmother & she died. Psychiatrist smiled & said “ First you didn’t kill your grandmother. She died due to heart attack. I discussed this with your family Doctor. She was heart patient for long time. I thought you must fond of her. But now I sense that it was your guilt. You are depressed & you hated her. Unluckily she died when you cook for her. But any way it was not your mistake. You did all work & never got appreciated so feeling upset was common. You were frustrated.” Charu started to cry slowly. She began to tell how did her grandmother treated her. Then she told him all about her father & his efforts to marry her to same boy. Psychiatrist slowly began to tell her how to handle situations. She began to feel relaxed. Then he called back her Mom. He told her every thing too. Then he started some Medicine for her. Charu came back home. That day she felt little bit relieved. She began to do her work. Slowly she started to sense that she didn’t done any mistake. When her Dad began to taunt she started to answer. According to her Dad she was arrogant but she felt better that way. She wanted peaceful life. She didn’t want to marry boy of his choice. Then she started searching for suitable boy herself. Finally she found one. She told him all about her mental issues. He took it easily. He said that he had mental issues too. For him she was not mad girl. She was normal. Her Dad didn’t appreciate him. But when she insisted he didn’t have much option. Finally she got married to boy who understood her. She started her life the way she wanted. But still sometimes when her grandmother mentioned she felt scared. But on those occasions her husband hold her hand. He supported her. She began to get over it step by step. But she understood one thing. She did big mistake by permitting them to bully her. She knew that she could live happily if she stopped considering every time what people felt about her. She began to live her life happily. She started enjoying life with her freedom. She was so happy. She had troubles in her life but she was no longer alone & frustrated. She managed to handle them with her husband. She was so happy that she said no to that boy. She sensed one thing that always agreeing wouldn’t help. Sometimes she needed to stand on her point. She learnt it now & she began to handle her life without crying again & again. She cried sometimes but it was not uncontrollable. It was always limited tears which expressed her feelings. At beginning she was scared of crying but now she learnt to cry in limit. She learnt to control her feelings. She gave freedom to her feelings but she didn’t let them control her mind. She was not scared of crying any more.

Adventure story. 554. Meena’s laughter

                                                         Meena’s laughter

Meena was so excited about this marriage. She arranged everything in it. She was so happy. She was daughter-in-law of family but she never managed to do much for it. She was always taunted about it from all. She tried her best but she couldn’t manage. She tried to make chocolate & sell them but it didn’t work. She got orders at beginning but then step by step all materials became too expensive & it was hard work. She couldn’t keep labours since she didn’t plan to start on big scale. She didn’t want purchase or rent premises. It was too really risky to invest so much sum in business which didn’t feel sure of return. She needed to stop it. She remembered that day like yesterday when she was cooking chocolates & her husband Ravi’s Auntie Vimal Kaki came. They belonged to rich family so Money was not dispute. She knew that they all wanted something which could make them powerful & famous. Maid opened door. Meena immediately threw apron on one side & ran outside to greet Vimal Kaki. But she didn’t sense that she already manage to drop chocolate on her silk gown. She smiled & started to greet Vimal Kaki but Vimal Kaki stopped her. Vimal Kaki “ You have this dirty chocolate on you. What were you doing?” “ Nothing much. I was just trying to cook some chocolates.” “ For whom? Don’t tell me your kids don’t got enough chocolates? I know surely that refrigerator is full of them.” She felt so ashamed & nervous. She began to sense whatever she was doing turned out to be useless. She started to feel upset. She said “ I was just trying to sell some chocolates..” Vimal Kaki started laughing. Soon she sensed that she did big mistake. She was selling those chocolates not for profit & Vimal Kaki was surely going to observe it. Vimal Kaki “ Now if you have extra time you can do those hobbies but don’t tell me you are planning to become cook!” She sounded confused. She didn’t understand what she supposed to say. It was clear that according to her family becoming cook was something so low that it was equal to crime. As per their thinking anyone could do actual crime & earn money but person must not do cooking & earn honest money. She knew that she needed to argue but she didn’t. She felt that she did mistake by trying to become a chocolate seller. She just laughed & said “ I was doing it for fun. I want to expose my talent in cooking that’s all.” Vimal Kaki nodded. After that she decided that selling chocolates was not right business for her. She was doing it just to impress her family & clearly selling chocolates was not going to impress her family. She knew that small shops were ready to keep her chocolates for selling but suddenly all looked wrong. She began to feel that she would do chocolates & she would keep them for sell but no one would buy them. On one day she did one orange favour chocolate & kids were not even ready to put it in mouth. She clearly sensed that it was wrong try. She decided that she was good in just one favour of chocolates. She felt that it would not create much future for her so she decided to quit it. After it one day they all suggested about marriage of her sister-in-law. All started to search for suitable boy. Her sister-in-law dated few but none of them was promising & nothing went beyond one date. Clearly her sister-in-law was not enough modern to find someone who would be perfect for her. They began to search for some boy. On this point Ravi told her “ Meena now this is the point on which you can prove yourself!” She gave him confused look. “ You need to find nice boy for my sister then they all started admiring you.” She smiled. Soon she started it. Luckily she knew one rich family from her neighbourhood. She discussed about her sister-in-law. They all looked interested. She arranged one party. She still remembered how hard she worked to get all arrangements of that party properly. She needed to set everything in right way. She wanted proper colour combination. She wanted to design everything in proper way. She kept all those colours according to choice of boy. She wanted him to be pleased. She even managed to arrange all food items that boy liked. Her sister-in-law told to adjust by his wishes. They all managed impress that boy with their arrangements. Her sister-in-law kept telling him that she loved what he liked. Finally they managed one date. After that slowly her sister-in-law started admiring him. She began to meet that boy. Meena was on top of world. Today she was happy since she was going in house of that boy to fix marriage. Meena was so excited about it all. Meena felt so sure about arrangements. She began to think that how did she needed to take approach regarding this marriage arrangements. She needed to make everything in proper way. She started to smile at thought how much she would be appreciated after this. So she started to arrange all. She did all properly & she went in house of that boy. When she entered she immediately sensed that she was not welcomed. She tried to discuss things but mother of boy was not interested. Finally father of that boy told her “ Actually our son is not interested in marrying your sister-in-law.” She was shocked. “ But he was dating her..” his mother suddenly came forward & said angrily “ He was trying to adjust but he couldn’t! He didn’t like her. We can’t force a marriage on him! Can we?” She felt so confused. For many days this boy was dating with her sister-in-law. They both seemed happy. She smiled & asked “ Can I talk with your son?” “ So you feel we are lying?” “ No..no.. I just want to ask what went wrong..” “ He is not in home.” She felt so sad. She went away. But during entire walk she was so tense. She went in house & started crying. She knew now she needed to face them all. Now she would become most bad person in family. She managed to destroy life of her sister-in-law. She sensed that her mobile was ringing. She saw that it was call from her mother-in-law. She had no option. She took it & said immediately “ They are not ready for marriage.” Her mother-in-law started abusing her. She didn’t want to hear it all but she couldn’t avoid it.

      According to Meena’s family she did this with intention. She wanted to upset her sister-in-law. Her sister-in-law Rita was so upset. Meena was scared to face her. Ravi also criticised her. He said “ If you were not sure about boy why did you suggested?” “ I was sure but my guess seem wrong.” “ Marriage is question of life & death we must not move ahead on guess. Why didn’t you gather proper information?!” “ I did. That boy seemed very nice..” she said it in very weak voice. She was feeling so nervous. She knew that her information was wrong. She didn’t want to claim it was right. She was so sure about it. She said “ I tried.” Ravi gave her angry look & said “ I have married a stupid woman you are good for nothing. Now never try to do anything without asking.” She nodded. She felt so upset. After that her entire life became worst. Her sister-in-law kept having issues daily. Her mother-in-law kept telling her to come & take care of her sister-in-law Dipti. She went there. She sat in hall. Suddenly Dipti came running towards her. Dipti started abusing her. “ You did it since you are jealous of my beauty. You are sadist. You managed to take hold of entire property. But don’t worry. Slowly step by step I will start to take control of your kids. Today I just begin it.” She was so confused. In morning her daughter was complaining that Auntie was irritating her. She knew that her entire family was upset since she tried to fix marriage. She immediately started apologising. “ I am so sorry. I never thought he will act like this.” Dipti started laughing in strange way. She began to shiver with fear. She was so scared. She needed to get away from her. She started to cry slowly. She began to get restless. She knew that she took wrong decision by coming here. She was so scared & upset. She wanted to feel happy but still her fear was controlling her mind. She knew that she supposed to feel sad but suddenly she started laughing. Dipti was shocked. Dipti was expecting her to feel guilty. She started to laugh. Now Dipti started to scream. Dipti began to throw things around. But Meena didn’t understand her emotions. Meena started to feel so upset. Meena wanted to cry but she was laughing. She was enjoying the way Dipti acting. She couldn’t control her laugh. She didn’t want to but she couldn’t stop herself. So she just went out of house. She finally managed  her laugher. She took breath of relief. She felt so frustrated. She was so scared that she might not stop laughing. She started to sense that something was wrong in her. She was so upset. She began to call Ravi. Ravi didn’t took call for long time. Finally he took. She told him all while controlling her tears. Ravi started screaming on her “ Now don’t tell me you messed up in this matter too? I mean what if Dipti decide to kill herself after this drama?” She shivered with fear. She decided to go back. She ran back. When she entered in house, she saw Dipti was talking on mobile with someone. Dipti was totally normal. She came out without making noise. She called Ravi & told him all. Ravi screamed “ I am working here. Don’t keep calling me. Just go home.” She didn’t say anything & returned home. She came back. She tried to act normal. She managed to relax herself little bit. She was so scared. She might start to laugh on wrong point. She was so restless & upset. But she pretended to act normal. After sometime Dipti found another boys. In fact she managed to find plenty of boys. Entire family did all for Dipti. They kept searching for happiness. But she was locked inside her house. She did whatever Ravi told her. She kept obeying him. She didn’t want arguments. So she kept quiet. She was so confused. Ravi began to Boss on her too much. One day by mistake a teacup fall & broken he started to abuse her. He began to tell her how useless she was before all servants. She sensed that they were watching. No one said anything. She began to feel so scared. She started to get tense. She tried her best to stop her laughter. She sensed that she was not going to stop. Every one was looking towards her with shock. Ravi kept watching towards her. She literally ran in her room. Then she locked her room. She didn’t want anyone to hear her laughter. She was so sure that she was becoming mad step by step. She didn’t understand what she supposed to do. She started to call her Mom. Her best supporter pillar! She married to Ravi but her family was not pro for it. Her brother kept telling her that she was getting obsessed with his richness. She was regretting her decision. She was feeling so restless. She started to think that she needed to find some way. She called her Mom & told her all. Mom “My God you don’t mention anything to me before?!” “ I know Mom. I don’t want to burden you with my mistakes.” “ Come on! I am your Mom! You are not burden to me! From where you got this thought? Let me guess! Ravi suggested it to me.” She started crying. She began to feel so upset. Then her Mom said slowly “ Come home for few days.” She immediately agreed. She stared to pack her suitcase. When she came out, she told Ravi “ I am going to stay with my Mom for few days.” Ravi gave her look which told her that for him she was nothing but just dirt. “ Go. I don’t need you anyway. Kids will handle all by themselves.” She suddenly remembered kids. She said “ I am taking them with me.” He started laughing. Ravi “ Why does you need to drag them with you everywhere? They don’t need Mom now.” She felt confused. But she said “ Let them decide.” She waited for kids. Ravi went away to office. She told servants to come regularly. She began to get tense. Finally kids came. She told them that she was going to her Mom’s home. Kids immediately agreed to join her. They could go to school from there. So they all packed & went away. She called Cab. When she entered in her Mom’s small house she felt that she was in home for first time. Ravi’s bungalow never had that feeling inside which this house stored. She tried to hide her tears but she couldn’t.

   Meena began to settle in her Mom’s house. Soon she began to feel normal. Her kids were enjoying too. She began to talk with her Mom & laugh. On that point her mobile rang. Ravi was calling. Ravi “ I want my blue shirt tomorrow where is it?” She was so confused. She took deep breath & thought. Then she told him where was that shirt. Ravi “ You are such a stupid woman. No one keep clothes like that! You have managed to make entire cupboard a mess! Now I might need to call you again & again.” She began to panic. She tried to control. But her Mom was watching all. Her Mom took her call & said “ Actually I am not feeling okay so will you call after sometime? I have Doctor’s appointment.” Ravi needed to agree. She tried to stop laughing. But she started. Her Mom kept patting on her back. Slowly her laughter was reduced. She began to cry. “ Mom this is happening again & again. I am laughing without cause.” Her Mom carefully looked towards her. Her Mom smiled & said “ Let’s go to some hill-station for sometime!” “ Mom kids need to go to school!” “ & you need to avoid this man.” “ Mom he is my husband!” Mom thought for sometime then Mom asked “ You keep laughing without cause?” She began to feel sorrow. She didn’t want to say yes but she needed to. Meena said “ Sometimes I laugh without cause.” Her Mom started to look nervous. Mom “ Let’s go to Doctor. I feel our Doctor will suggest something.” Meena nodded. Meena decided to go to Doctor. Meena arranged time properly. She wanted to feel relaxed but Ravi kept sending her messages again & again. It seemed as if he needed her for everything. She waited outside Doctor’s clinic for her number. She was so tense. Doctor called her inside. As soon as she entered, she told everything to Doctor. Doctor listened to her. Doctor slowly said “ I think she needed to reduce her weight. I advise you to go to Doctor for it.” Mom asked “ Which Doctor?” “ I suggest Psychiatrist! It will solve both problems.” Meena nodded. But she was so scared. Meena immediately told Mom. “ If Ravi knew about it, he will make my life unbearable!” Mom smiled. Mom “ Why does he need to know? Tell him you are staying with me for my treatment.” She nodded. She told Ravi that her Mom was sick. Doctor told her to treatment to Mom. Ravi kept abusing & complaining. She tried her best to hide her laughter. But she laughed. Ravi screamed “ Stop that laughing mad woman!” She shivered with fear. She didn’t want all to call her mad woman but she began to sense that now she couldn’t escape that fact. She didn’t say anything just disconnected call. She started to cry. Her kids came in room. They began to pat & hug her. She felt so relaxed by their touch. They started to tell her “ Don’t worry Mom you will become fine.” She kept getting upset. She knew that she needed to become normal again. Next day they took appointment of psychiatrist. They got it for last day of week. During that week she kept avoiding Ravi. Her Mom kept taking Ravi’s call. But one day Ravi appeared in house. He began to scream on Meena for staying so many days. But Mom pretended that she was so sick that she couldn’t even walk properly. Meena tried hard to control her laugh. She just ran in room & then she kept laughing there. Ravi came behind her but she didn’t open it. Then Ravi started telling Mom that she was becoming mad step by step. Her Mom listened to all. Her Mom just said “ Let her stay here for sometime.” “ Sure you can keep her permanently but then you must not send bills to me. I needed to feed her & her kids. You are not paying for it.” Her Mom wanted to tell him that he was also father of kids. But Mom didn’t say anything. Finally Ravi went away. She didn’t come out for long time. Then when Mom started to bang on door, she came out. She told Mom “ I am fine.” Mom said “ We will go to Psychiatrist & all will be solved.” She nodded but she was not sure anymore. Finally they went to Psychiatrist. She sat for sometime then she went inside. She told all about her troubles. Psychiatrist listened to her. Psychiatrist “ You are laughing to hide your nervousness. This is common gesture. But people took it in wrong way. But your laugh is getting uncontrollable that is something we need to pay attention to. Actually you don’t understand how to control your stress. Let’s begin with counselling. After sometime I will tell you medicine if they are needed.” Then Psychiatrist started to ask her questions. She answered all honestly. Her Mom was beside her but she felt comfortable by her presence so Psychiatrist didn’t advise her to go out. She told everything without feeling shy about anything. Then Psychiatrist started to tell her things she supposed to do. She began to feel relaxed step by step. She started to do what she suggested daily. After sometime Ravi called her again. She answered him peacefully this time. When he began to abuse, she just disconnected call. He came to visit her. She tried to talk as peacefully as possible. She didn’t laugh. She was stressed but still she felt a peace impact in her mind. When Ravi left she cried. She knew that she was hurt. She didn’t want to go back. But she knew that she didn’t have much options. She needed money to survive & Ravi had it. She avoided fights. But whenever Ravi started to abuse, she began to talk with servants who began to answer too. Due to it Ravi forced to shut up. Slowly she learnt to handle situation. But when Dipti’s marriage decided she didn’t went to marriage. Ravi screamed on her. She just said peacefully “ Do you want me to tell that boy how many boys Dipti had dated?” Ravi tried to slap her but she moved away. Then she asked “ Do you want me to make Police complaint? I can get divorce & alimony too if you hit me!” He looked confused. Then he went away to Dipti’s marriage alone. Even kids didn’t want to go. Dipti harassed them all so much. They stayed in home & they finally began to live their life normally.
