Ravi's nightmares
Harish was watching his horror movie with happiness. It was his regular way to entertain. He loved horror. He never had company to watch them,since all his family members felt so scared. He just sat in his room and watch it. His room was small Just his bed and computer. He didn't even had TV but he didn't need it. He always watched all on his PC. It was just perfect. He was so happy. It was so dark. It was creating perfect effect on mind. His small room was perfect for horror. It had special appeal on soul. He wanted to just keep watching in it. He was busy in watching it when his younger brother entered. He started to look at screen. Harish " Ravi do you want to see it?" Ravi nodded. Ravi was small but not so small. He could watch those movies too. Then suddenly he heard scream of his Mom. Mom came inside room. Mom " What are you doing Harish? Ravi was not supposed to watch this. He is too young." Harish " Mom I have not invited him. He came by himself. Go away. I don't want to receive punishment because of you." Ravi " Mom let me watch. I will not feel scared." Mom " You will feel scared and keep having nightmare." Harish started laughing. But when he saw Ravi's face, he sensed that he had made biggest mistake. Ravi was totally hurt. He was so upset. Mom " Come on Ravi. You don't need to watch horror to prove yourself. Harish don't you agree with me?" Harish nodded immediately. But somewhere in heart Harish was so happy that he was proving brave and better than Ravi. He wanted to prove best. But then he knew that he could not expect to express it. Harish " Ravi horror is just choice of movie. It don't prove you are brave." "Really?" Ravi asked him with anger. Ravi knew very well that Harish looked brave before his friends just because he watched horror movie. Harish " I mean. There are many other ways to prove yourself." Mom " Like earn good marks which Harish never able to do." Harish felt so hurt. Harish was not that much intelligent but he didn't deserve taunt without need. But then he laughed on Ravi so Mom was taking revenge. He just hated it when Ravi started coming. He wanted to watch his movie peacefully. He knew that now he had to stop it. He stopped it. Harish " Mom I am going to start studying." " Good boy. I hope you get some sense with age. Quit those horror movies and study more." Harish gave angry look to Ravi. Ravi was pleased now. He wanted his Mom to taunt Harish. After that Ravi went out of room. But inside his mind he wanted to watch that movie. He wanted to watch that horror movie which he watch every day. It was so frustrating. Ravi was not permitted to watch horror while Harish watched them every day. Ravi decided that this time he would watch it. He had android now. He could watch it with you-tube. But he needed name of horror movie. Then their phone rang. Mom started talking to Aunt. Soon it became clear that their parents were invited in party on Sunday. He jumped with joy. It was clear that kids had to stay in home alone. He knew that at beginning his Mom might insist but he would stick to his stand. Then their argument began when suddenly Harish screamed " But I am going to movie with friends on that time." His Mom started to look tense. Mom " We can't keep Ravi in home alone." Harish " Mom I can't cancel my movie. My all friends planned it. I can't back out like that." Ravi started laughing. He knew that there must be some girl involved too. Harish screamed " Stop day dreaming there are girls in my group but I am not going out with any one." Mom looked at Ravi with anger. Then Mom gave nice smile to Harish and said " Can you take him with you?" Harish was so angry. Ravi knew that his answer going to be no. But still he waited. Harish " That is horror movie." Harish smiled happily. He knew that he couldn't take his minor brother to horror movie. " Mom you can take him with you." Mom nodded. Ravi " No Mom. Harish will return home by 9 o'clock. Please Harish." Ravi made such a sad face that Harish had to agree. Harish " Fine I will come." Ravi smiled. Mom " Okay. Don't open door for any one. Be careful. I want you to stay locked in house." Ravi nodded everything. Now he didn't need any thing except password of Harish to go in his account and he knew it. Harish never hide it from him. Ravi was not his enemy. Ravi was sure if some horror movie showed to be watched by Harish twice then it would not harm him. He knew it was wrong but it was also not harmful. He smiled. That day when they went to sleep, Harish once again sat on computer. His Password was saved so he didn't wrote it. This confirmed that Ravi didn't need to know even Password since password was saved in computer. He just needed PC and Ravi was sure that Harish would vanish immediately after his parents. He would not waste time with him. Harish was like that he wanted freedom. But still he tolerate Ravi since he wanted to take care of his brother too. But he would not do it unnecessarily. Harish didn't feel Ravi need him at day time. Truthfully Ravi didn't need him. Ravi smiled and went to sleep.
Next day from morning Mom kept instructing Harish and Ravi what they supposed to do. They hoped that Dad would encourage her. But he just encouraged her more. He also started telling them many things. Harish started to get irritated. He looked at Ravi. He felt that just because of Ravi he had been lectured. Ravi hated it when Harish started to blame him for every thing. Ravi " Dad Mom relax. I will take care of everything. I will just watch movie on PC." Harish " Which Movie? Do you want me to download some special movie like Power ranger or Superman.." Ravi felt upset but then he got better idea. Ravi " But how can I excess it?" Dad " He is right Harish. Your email is locked with pass word!!" " So what's big deal. I will give him password." Harish wrote down his password. Ravi smiled happily. He was shocked when he sensed that Harish had changed his password. Harish"I have not stored it so you might need to open account by writing password." Ravi was shocked. If he had not asked Harish, he would have got stuck on password. He was so glad that he asked for excess. His parents were happy since Harish was behaving like elder brother. Ravi knew that Harish was just feeling guilty so compensating it this way. Ravi was so happy. Harish " Why are you so happy? You want to view some movie specifically." " No..no but I want to stay alone in house." Every one started laughing. Dad " It must be adventure for you. I use to feel same way when I was kid." Ravi smiled with happily. He was glad no one could able to guess his intentions. Every one smiled. Every one was happy since Ravi was willing to stay alone. They all wanted to go to different places. They just kept hoping that he would be happy to stay alone. Normally Ravi used to insist on going out with some one. But now Ravi wanted his space. He was happy that they were going to go out. He wanted to enjoy every moment of privacy. First his parents went away. Ravi was thinking that Harish would leave immediately after them. But Harish didn't acted in that way. Harish stayed with Ravi. He kept giving company to Ravi. He was doing perfect job of elder brother. He went in kitchen even looked some tasty snack for him. It was just ready to eat snack but still Harish did it with best with food. Ravi was shocked with his attitude. He was acting so responsible that day. He kept fulfilling every need of Ravi. It was perfect day for Ravi. He was getting pampered by his brother. He was so happy. It was perfect day. Then his friends started calling him. He was telling them that he had to wait but Ravi stopped him. " Harish Dada you can go." " But if I will go away from now then I will be away for too many hours." " It is fine. I will handle it. Just go." Harish was confused then he looked in watch for timing. He decided that he had to go. He said " I am coming on phone." got ready and went away. But before going he gave many instructions. Ravi nodded to every thing but he decided all. He was careful. He looked down as soon as Harish went out. He saw that Harish was sitting inside Auto. Then when he went away, Ravi ran back to PC. Ravi started to search for You tube. He was so happy when he went wrote password and account opened. He managed to reach to that point where he could see movies of his choice. He started one horror movie. It was so scary. He smiled happily. He knew that he needed to watch that movie. He needed that thrill in life. He went in kitchen and brought that snacks which Harish cooked for him. Then he sat with snacks. It was perfect at beginning just wonderful then after some step he began to feel so tense. He started shivering. It was worst moment for him. He wanted to go to computer and stop it. But he felt as if his body lost strength and control over . He kept watching it. He didn't stop. He kept looking at those horrible faces. He didn't sense timing or any thing else. He just remained stuck to that place. He was so scared. Then finally that movie ended. He just snapped out of trance. He looked around. He was so nervous. He ran to bathroom. Then he came back in room. It was not great at all. Whole bed covers were wet due to his sweat. He just hoped it was sweat. Since he was fully wet. He didn't sense when he started sweating like that. He was totally wet. He ran in bathroom to took bathe. Then he changed his clothes. Then he started changing every thing. He was so scared. He had to give answer for it. He didn't want to make laughing stock out of his movie watching. Then he started to watch cartoon to relax. From it he got idea. He decided that he could tell Mom that he spilled some curry on bed sheets that would be perfect. His Mom would not complaint about it. She would be glad that he washed it. He put them all in washing machine. It was perfect. Then he started watching again. He decided. He didn't want cartoon. He started to watching horror again. It was perfect. He was so happy. He kept going it for many hours. He just managed to totally lost in that movie. He began to enjoy thrill. He started to sense it was wonderful. He kept eating too. When Harish came back, he was totally ready with story. Harish checked out bed sheet. Harish " This is fine. I will put it back on bed. Mom would not sense it." Ravi smiled so they went back to sleep before their parents could return. Mom called them. She complained that Ravi was not taking call. But Harish confirmed every thing was fine. Then Ravi chatted with her so she decided that she might come late. Ravi was glad that his adventure was going to remain hidden. They were already sleeping in bedroom by time their parents came back. It was perfect day for Ravi.
Ravi was sleeping with smile. He expected to sleep peacefully. Since he didn't feel scared any more now, he was so happy. But then suddenly he sensed that something was moving around him. He sensed it. He just looked around. He sensed a cold touch. He knew that it was touch of cold hand. It was horrible. He sensed that some thing was touching it. It was horrible. It was so upset. It was something out of that movie. He knew that it was that horrible monster of that movie. It was not monster but it was spirit. He saw so many movies that it all started to get confused in his mind. It wanted to understand it. But it kept confusing his soul. He knew that it was from movie. He knew that it couldn't be true. If he kept imagining different things, he had control himself. He took deep breathe and started saying name of God. He closed his eyes. He always kept chanting. He didn't sense when he fall asleep but he was woke up again when he sensed that some one was coming inside his bed sheet. He screamed loudly without thinking. Then before he could control himself his parents managed to enter in room. They were asking him what happened. Harish " He must had nightmare. He started screaming in sleep." Harish started laughing but his parents gave him angry look. Mom " It must had happened due to stress of entire day. He had to stay in home alone." Dad " It is not easy. You went away to watch movie while he stayed in home. He spend whole day alone in this house." Harish " So he is scared since he stayed alone?" Dad screamed " Stop this. You went away for your personal enjoyment and now you are taunting him." " No Dad I was just saying..." Mom " We don't want to hear anything from you." By this time Ravi came to his senses. Ravi " Mom I felt as if something coming inside my bed sheet." Mom " Coming inside your bed sheet." They started searching around but they found nothing. Dad " It's just bad dream go to sleep." Ravi nodded. He went back to sleep. He decided that he would not let anything scare him in night. After that incidence Ravi had many nightmares but finally he woke up. He was so happy that he didn't scream again. Harish " Good Morning. Why were you so scared last night? Did you do some thing wrong? Nightmares are sign of guilty mind." Ravi " Nonsense. I just had nightmare since it happen to every one once in while." Then he went out of bed. During that whole day he felt totally relaxed. He felt that he had managed to get over his fear finally. He was so glad. He slept that day with full confidnce. But then in middle of night he suddenly woke up. He once again sensed that cold touch on his hand. He took his hand inside. It was wet. He decided that he had to face his fear. He decided that he would open his eyes and see that thing. He opened his eyes. He could clearly see. It was something alive. It was about to jump on him. He screamed loudly and that thing vanished. Once again every one woke up. This time his parents looked irritated. They didn't want it turn into every day scene. Mom " What happened?" Ravi gave forced smile. " Nothing Mom just nightmare. I think I might sleep in hall this way I will not disturb others." Harish " Good Decision." Dad " Harish!!" " Come on Dad. Tomorrow is my first day in office. I don't want to look worst." His Dad looked confused. Ravi just took his bed sheet and ran outside before Dad's second thought. He felt a lot better in hall. Hall had so many window. He could see streets with one window. He was sure that it would reduce his fear and he would sleep properly. He felt so relaxed. He slowly closed his eyes. He hoped that he did have nightmare. But when he woke up next morning he was totally tired. His Mom" You kept talking entire night yesterday." " Entire night? About what?" " I don't know may be some monster?" " Monster or ghost? "" I don't heard you properly but I just feel you need proper rest." " I know Mom but I keep getting those nightmares. I can't sleep peacefully." " We have to do something about them. I can see dark circles are developing under your eyes too. I think we might need to visit Doctor." Ravi started to feel scared. He didn't want to tell truth to any one but if this Doctor came in picture he had to tell truth. He didn't want it. " Mom give me few days it will vanish." His Mom didn't look convinced but still she agreed. " So we try for one week if it work we will not go to Doctor but otherwise we don't have option." Ravi nodded. He decided that it might take some cough syrup today. It might help him. He could pretend that he was sick by coughing little bit. He was sure that his Dad would give him some. He smiled with happiness. He was so glad that he managed to get idea. His Mom suddenly spoke " You were coughing little bit yesterday you might drink cough syrup to night." He smiled so Mom must be thinking just like him. He was so happy. " Mom it might help me sleep too." His Mom nodded. She wanted to give it a try too. No one wanted to go to Doctor. Ravi felt so sure that he would sleep to that night. Mom " Hurry up. You must not get late to school." He nodded and went to school.
Ravi sat in bus. He soon started feeling sleepy. Ravi to his friend " I don't sleep yesterday so I am sleeping in bus tell me when we reach." Friend nodded. Ravi had nice sleep. He didn't woke up until his friend didn't inform him. He didn't even had any nightmare. When he reached to school, he felt so much fresh. He started working again. He sensed one thing that he needed sleep. But still his friend asked " What happened? Why are you looking so tired?" " Nothing." Another friend " Did you watch those horror movies which told us you were going to watch when your parents were gone away? " "Yes." His every friend looked thrilled. Friend " Did you like them?" Ravi smiled " They were nice." " But he is having nightmares every day after watching them." His best friend told it. Ravi was angry but then he sensed his friend was just concerned. They needed advice. " Did you told your parents about this adventure?" " Not until now." " You must tell them. If you can't able to sleep then you will fall sick." " I can see effect on his eyes already." They all started watching him carefully. He sensed one thing that he needed help. They all seemed to think so. During class he kept yawning. His teacher started to look at him with anger. He sensed one thing those were warning for him. Many teachers even asked if he was sick. He gave excuse of suffering with cold. When he reached home, he was totally exhausted. His Mom was shocked to see his face. Mom " I just can't believe it. You started to look so much ill." He started to feel sick too. Ravi " May be I just need Doctor?" His Mom nodded. "Mom listen to me and first promise me that you will not tell it to any one." " What?" " I made one mistake." Then she told every thing to her. Mom " We must meet Doctor if this is happening you due to watching movies. This is something not right. " His Mom called family Doctor. She told him every thing on phone. She started asking for medicine. " What psychiatrist? But problem is not so serious." Ravi started to cry slowly. Mom turned to him " Just relax." Ravi " Mom I don't want any one to know about it." Mom " Let me talk to Doctor. Then I will tell you." Ravi nodded. Mom said " Great so we don't to tell any one thanks lot." Mom turned to Ravi " Doctor will give us that appointment with psychiatrist in which you might pretend to be going to some art class and I will go with you." "What about Dad?" " We need to tell him." " No Mom. He will keep screaming on me." Ravi started crying then in few moments Mom agreed with him. He felt little relaxed. But then in evening Dad came to him. Dad smiled at him. He made sure that Harish went inside room. Dad " Ravi why are you scared of me? "" I am not scared." " Then why do you feel I blame you?" " Mom told you!!" "No Doctor did." " Doctor?" " Yes." " Mom told him to tell you." Ravi started to look angry. Dad " So you hate me so much that you don't want me to know." " No Dad but she lied." " How did she suppose to get money without telling me? It is not free. You need to understand it. She didn't have much option and I am not blaming you." " You will tell Harish?" " Do you think I am stupid? He was taunting you on every moment. I will never do that." Ravi smiled. Then Ravi went to sleep in hall. Mom had given him cough syrup. He was sleeping like baby at beginning. But then suddenly he felt a touch. He could sense it. Something was touching his hand. He was so scared. He needed to get rid of it. He was so scared. He knew that he needed to hold it. He felt it. Then he suddenly sensed some wet touch. He decided that he must not scream. He just stayed inside bed sheet. He was shivering. He suddenly began to feel need of going to toilet. It was worst thing. He didn't want to remove bed sheet while that thing was out. He took deep breathe. Soon he sensed that he was sleeping. It was due to that cough syrup. He had to go to toilet. He slowly removed bed sheet. He looked around. He sensed nothing was there. He sensed that he kept dreaming. He started to look around that hall. He didn't see any thing in darkness. He was so scared. He ran to light. He started it. That room was totally normal. He began to look around. He sensed one thing that he needed Doctor. He started crying slowly. Soon his parents came out, they must had seen his light. They started to try to clam him down. But his Dad also declared that they couldn't wait for long. Ravi knew truth this too. Harish also came out. Ravi knew that he was going to taunt him. But he looked scared too. He must had felt fear due to Ravi's condition. He just kept standing quietly in corner of room. Ravi was so glad. Harish " Dad it might be just nightmare. It will go away." Ravi felt so glad that Harish was talking with this positive attitude. But he knew that it was impossible. He needed a Doctor. But still even his Mom started saying " It is just dream. He need doctor to stop them. We can't keep on like that." Ravi nodded in agreement. Then his parents helped to go to sleep. He knew just one thing now. He couldn't stop his dream by himself. He needed a Doctor. He decided that he would go by his parent's advice and ignore Harish. After all Harish was too young to give him proper advice. Still Ravi liked his kind gesture. He smiled happily since his entire family was helping him in this trouble.
Next day Ravi was so stressed. He just wanted appointment of Doctor. He wanted to help. He knew that he couldn't survive like that. He knew that he needed help. He needed to sleep. He called Mom " When are you calling Doctor? I need him immediately. Can I see him today?" " Relax. You can't just go to psychiatrist like that. You need appointment." " Appointment? Then take appointment of today evening or tomorrow morning? " " Let me try." Mom went inside. Harish suddenly came to him. Harish " Do you really feel you can't control this dream? I mean you can ignore it." " No I can't I need a Doctor." " If you go to psychiatrist then they all call you mad." Ravi was so upset. But then he remembered those miseries of last night. He couldn't bear to have them again. He didn't want to be called mad but he knew that he must be mad. If he deny it then it would come before all. " If I don't go to Doctor, I will become totally mad." " So you feel psychiatrist cure you? Nonsense. My one friend went to psychiatrist. He gave him medicines. Slowly he became more mad. Day by day he started to just sleeping. He didn't understand where was his mouth. His Mom started to feed him." Ravi began to shiver. When Mom entered, Mom smiled " I got appointment of today. I convinced nurse to accommodate us. But it would be at night." Ravi " I don't want to go to psychiatrist." Mom looked so angry. " I take appointment. You are going there at least for one time. If you don't want we stop going. No excuses." Ravi looked confused. Harish looked scared. Ravi " One time can't harm me." Mom " Doctor never harm person sickness did. You need to understand it." Ravi nodded it. Harish suddenly vanished out of picture. After that whole time Mom kept entertaining him. Mom didn't want him to change mind. Then when Dad came from Office, they went to psychiatrist. Harish stayed in home. They waited in long line. Ravi was shivering with fear entire time. But when they finally went inside, suddenly every thing began to feel better. Since psychiatrist talked with Ravi in friendly way. Psychiatrist " So you see nightmares and you also feel touch on your hand." " Yes. Something cold touch me. It even tried to enter in my bed sheet once." " But did you try to see it?" "No. I never did it." " So you don't able to sleep at all." " No I slept peacefully in school bus." " Nothing touch you there." " No. It must be due to those movies." " Stop blaming yourself. Due to movies you might get nightmares for few days. But don't feel something touch you. According to your talking. Those dreams were started after you felt this touch. Am I wrong?" Ravi " No you are right." " Do you feel any thing else expect cold touch when that thing touch you?" Ravi started remembering then he remembered. When it entered in bed sheet, he felt pain on leg. " On first time I feel pain on leg." " Can you let me check your leg?" " Well it is just scratch of my nail due to fear." "Let me decide." Ravi was so scared. But his parents insisted so he went inside with Doctor. Psychiatrist checked his leg and then came out. Ravi " Doctor you can see I have scratched leg due to fear." Psychiatrist " No. You don't. A cat did. It is scratch by cat or dog. But I don't feel dog can enter in bed sheet like. Unless it is small dog." Dad " But we don't have dog or cat?" " Then may be some one is scaring your son with intention?" " Who can do this?" Psychiatrist thought for few moments. Psychiatrist " Did some one tried to scare you regarding visiting me?" " Yes. My brother Harish did." " So it is Harish. Did Harish have any pet cat?" Mom " Actually he wanted to keep one but we don't let him since Ravi was small at that time. I didn't want extra work." " But it seem Harish had kept it somewhere and managed to train it." Dad " But how could he do that to his younger brother?" " It happens sometime. He was so angry that Ravi cheated him. He must had located those movies which Ravi wanted to watch so he decided to punish him." Mom " But this is horrible." Mom started to look angry. Psychiatrist " Don't get angry on him. I feel he might need treatment. Did he have any cause to feel frustrated or depressed?" Dad " Actually his grandfather died few days ago. We wanted to go to meet him but we couldn't able to go since Ravi's exam was there. Harish was big enough to go alone but we thought that we all should go together. We never thought that he would die so soon. On that day Harish kept blaming it on Ravi. On funeral he kept abusing Ravi. He created big scene before his grandfather's body. All relatives were shocked but then after some time he suddenly started apologizing. We thought that he did it on impulse." " No. He decided to forgive one mistake of Ravi. But Harish needed counseling on that point only. " Mom " But he will not come here easily." Psychiatrist " Tell him that if he didn't come here now, he might land in mental hospital. He might change his decision and sent Ravi to somewhere to stay for few days if possible. Harish might blame it on Ravi too." Mom nodded. She called their grand mother who was willing to let Ravi stay. " But we can't keep Ravi there like that." Psychiatrist " Don't worry. You might need to keep Harish here for some days. " Mom " But you said that mental hospital as threat." " No. Harish needed to stay under observation for few days. He might turn in wrong way if he didn't get treatment." " But what happened to him? " Psychiatrist " I will tell it after checking him." Ravi's parents nodded. His parents immediately sent him to his grand mother. Harish immediately agreed to come to psychiatrist. He was crying. When he came to psychiatrist, he confessed. " Doctor it was just joke. I confess I made mistake. I was missing my grandfather so much then Ravi started to fool me. I thought I might pay joke on him. But then he started creating scene. I began to feel scared. I didn't want to my parents to know so I did it. I never wanted to hurt him. Please forgive me." Doctor nodded. Then Harish smiled. Then Psychiatrist told nurse to take him out. Psychiatrist " Your son is suffering from Anti social personality disorder. Did he acted like bully in school?" His parents nodded. Mom " He always acted aggressive. He was never easy to handle." " He was lying even now. He just wanted to avoid hospital. He didn't have any regret. He didn't need to repeat things to convince dream. Person can have nightmare once. While talking about Ravi, he was slowly smiled when he said cat hurt him then hide it. He needed proper treatment." " But why this happened to him?" " There are many physical causes. We need to check them. But you are lucky. He didn't did any crime." But then Dad looked confused. Psychiatrist " Tell me. Don't act shy." Dad " Actually before my father died, he sent one gift to Ravi. Harish didn't like it at all. He wanted grandfather just for himself. He didn't confess that he went there but one of my friend from village said " Why your son was creating scene he was with him in village yesterday I saw him in shop while buying some snacks?" I thought that he confused Harish with some one else." Mom started crying. Mom " That cat which I denied to keep was found dead next day. So this must be different cat." Psychiatrist " Go and search for this cat. It might be dead and hidden in your house somewhere. I feel Harish would blame cat for this mess."His parents started shivering. Mom " Will he become alright?" " Yes he will. But he will need to stay in hospital for long time." They nodded and stood up. Then Psychiatrist called them back again. Psychiatrist " Don't put every blame on Harish. Harish might had argued with grandfather and he might had heart attack due to it. We all just keep thinking that." Mom and Dad nodded. But they sensed one thing that they prefer to keep Ravi away from Harish. Dad called grand mother and told her that she should take admission for Ravi in school near her house. Then Ravi took phone from her. He was so happy. Ravi"Dad please let me stay here." " Sure." Then they chatted and disconnected call. They decided to keep their children separate.

Harish " Mom I have not invited him. He came by himself. Go away. I don't want to receive punishment because of you." Ravi " Mom let me watch. I will not feel scared." Mom " You will feel scared and keep having nightmare." Harish started laughing. But when he saw Ravi's face, he sensed that he had made biggest mistake. Ravi was totally hurt. He was so upset. Mom " Come on Ravi. You don't need to watch horror to prove yourself. Harish don't you agree with me?" Harish nodded immediately. But somewhere in heart Harish was so happy that he was proving brave and better than Ravi. He wanted to prove best. But then he knew that he could not expect to express it. Harish " Ravi horror is just choice of movie. It don't prove you are brave." "Really?" Ravi asked him with anger. Ravi knew very well that Harish looked brave before his friends just because he watched horror movie. Harish " I mean. There are many other ways to prove yourself." Mom " Like earn good marks which Harish never able to do." Harish felt so hurt. Harish was not that much intelligent but he didn't deserve taunt without need. But then he laughed on Ravi so Mom was taking revenge. He just hated it when Ravi started coming. He wanted to watch his movie peacefully. He knew that now he had to stop it. He stopped it. Harish " Mom I am going to start studying." " Good boy. I hope you get some sense with age. Quit those horror movies and study more." Harish gave angry look to Ravi. Ravi was pleased now. He wanted his Mom to taunt Harish. After that Ravi went out of room. But inside his mind he wanted to watch that movie. He wanted to watch that horror movie which he watch every day. It was so frustrating. Ravi was not permitted to watch horror while Harish watched them every day. Ravi decided that this time he would watch it. He had android now. He could watch it with you-tube. But he needed name of horror movie. Then their phone rang. Mom started talking to Aunt. Soon it became clear that their parents were invited in party on Sunday. He jumped with joy. It was clear that kids had to stay in home alone. He knew that at beginning his Mom might insist but he would stick to his stand. Then their argument began when suddenly Harish screamed " But I am going to movie with friends on that time." His Mom started to look tense. Mom " We can't keep Ravi in home alone." Harish " Mom I can't cancel my movie. My all friends planned it. I can't back out like that." Ravi started laughing. He knew that there must be some girl involved too. Harish screamed " Stop day dreaming there are girls in my group but I am not going out with any one." Mom looked at Ravi with anger. Then Mom gave nice smile to Harish and said " Can you take him with you?" Harish was so angry. Ravi knew that his answer going to be no. But still he waited. Harish " That is horror movie." Harish smiled happily. He knew that he couldn't take his minor brother to horror movie. " Mom you can take him with you." Mom nodded. Ravi " No Mom. Harish will return home by 9 o'clock. Please Harish." Ravi made such a sad face that Harish had to agree. Harish " Fine I will come." Ravi smiled. Mom " Okay. Don't open door for any one. Be careful. I want you to stay locked in house." Ravi nodded everything. Now he didn't need any thing except password of Harish to go in his account and he knew it. Harish never hide it from him. Ravi was not his enemy. Ravi was sure if some horror movie showed to be watched by Harish twice then it would not harm him. He knew it was wrong but it was also not harmful. He smiled. That day when they went to sleep, Harish once again sat on computer. His Password was saved so he didn't wrote it. This confirmed that Ravi didn't need to know even Password since password was saved in computer. He just needed PC and Ravi was sure that Harish would vanish immediately after his parents. He would not waste time with him. Harish was like that he wanted freedom. But still he tolerate Ravi since he wanted to take care of his brother too. But he would not do it unnecessarily. Harish didn't feel Ravi need him at day time. Truthfully Ravi didn't need him. Ravi smiled and went to sleep.
Next day from morning Mom kept instructing Harish and Ravi what they supposed to do. They hoped that Dad would encourage her. But he just encouraged her more. He also started telling them many things. Harish started to get irritated. He looked at Ravi. He felt that just because of Ravi he had been lectured. Ravi hated it when Harish started to blame him for every thing. Ravi " Dad Mom relax. I will take care of everything. I will just watch movie on PC." Harish " Which Movie? Do you want me to download some special movie like Power ranger or Superman.." Ravi felt upset but then he got better idea. Ravi " But how can I excess it?" Dad " He is right Harish. Your email is locked with pass word!!" " So what's big deal. I will give him password." Harish wrote down his password. Ravi smiled happily. He was shocked when he sensed that Harish had changed his password. Harish"I have not stored it so you might need to open account by writing password." Ravi was shocked. If he had not asked Harish, he would have got stuck on password. He was so glad that he asked for excess. His parents were happy since Harish was behaving like elder brother. Ravi knew that Harish was just feeling guilty so compensating it this way. Ravi was so happy. Harish " Why are you so happy? You want to view some movie specifically." " No..no but I want to stay alone in house." Every one started laughing. Dad " It must be adventure for you. I use to feel same way when I was kid." Ravi smiled with happily. He was glad no one could able to guess his intentions. Every one smiled. Every one was happy since Ravi was willing to stay alone. They all wanted to go to different places. They just kept hoping that he would be happy to stay alone. Normally Ravi used to insist on going out with some one. But now Ravi wanted his space. He was happy that they were going to go out. He wanted to enjoy every moment of privacy. First his parents went away. Ravi was thinking that Harish would leave immediately after them. But Harish didn't acted in that way. Harish stayed with Ravi. He kept giving company to Ravi. He was doing perfect job of elder brother. He went in kitchen even looked some tasty snack for him. It was just ready to eat snack but still Harish did it with best with food. Ravi was shocked with his attitude. He was acting so responsible that day. He kept fulfilling every need of Ravi. It was perfect day for Ravi. He was getting pampered by his brother. He was so happy. It was perfect day. Then his friends started calling him. He was telling them that he had to wait but Ravi stopped him. " Harish Dada you can go." " But if I will go away from now then I will be away for too many hours." " It is fine. I will handle it. Just go." Harish was confused then he looked in watch for timing. He decided that he had to go. He said " I am coming on phone." got ready and went away. But before going he gave many instructions. Ravi nodded to every thing but he decided all. He was careful. He looked down as soon as Harish went out. He saw that Harish was sitting inside Auto. Then when he went away, Ravi ran back to PC. Ravi started to search for You tube. He was so happy when he went wrote password and account opened. He managed to reach to that point where he could see movies of his choice. He started one horror movie. It was so scary. He smiled happily. He knew that he needed to watch that movie. He needed that thrill in life. He went in kitchen and brought that snacks which Harish cooked for him. Then he sat with snacks. It was perfect at beginning just wonderful then after some step he began to feel so tense. He started shivering. It was worst moment for him. He wanted to go to computer and stop it. But he felt as if his body lost strength and control over . He kept watching it. He didn't stop. He kept looking at those horrible faces. He didn't sense timing or any thing else. He just remained stuck to that place. He was so scared. Then finally that movie ended. He just snapped out of trance. He looked around. He was so nervous. He ran to bathroom. Then he came back in room. It was not great at all. Whole bed covers were wet due to his sweat. He just hoped it was sweat. Since he was fully wet. He didn't sense when he started sweating like that. He was totally wet. He ran in bathroom to took bathe. Then he changed his clothes. Then he started changing every thing. He was so scared. He had to give answer for it. He didn't want to make laughing stock out of his movie watching. Then he started to watch cartoon to relax. From it he got idea. He decided that he could tell Mom that he spilled some curry on bed sheets that would be perfect. His Mom would not complaint about it. She would be glad that he washed it. He put them all in washing machine. It was perfect. Then he started watching again. He decided. He didn't want cartoon. He started to watching horror again. It was perfect. He was so happy. He kept going it for many hours. He just managed to totally lost in that movie. He began to enjoy thrill. He started to sense it was wonderful. He kept eating too. When Harish came back, he was totally ready with story. Harish checked out bed sheet. Harish " This is fine. I will put it back on bed. Mom would not sense it." Ravi smiled so they went back to sleep before their parents could return. Mom called them. She complained that Ravi was not taking call. But Harish confirmed every thing was fine. Then Ravi chatted with her so she decided that she might come late. Ravi was glad that his adventure was going to remain hidden. They were already sleeping in bedroom by time their parents came back. It was perfect day for Ravi.
Ravi was sleeping with smile. He expected to sleep peacefully. Since he didn't feel scared any more now, he was so happy. But then suddenly he sensed that something was moving around him. He sensed it. He just looked around. He sensed a cold touch. He knew that it was touch of cold hand. It was horrible. He sensed that some thing was touching it. It was horrible. It was so upset. It was something out of that movie. He knew that it was that horrible monster of that movie. It was not monster but it was spirit. He saw so many movies that it all started to get confused in his mind. It wanted to understand it. But it kept confusing his soul. He knew that it was from movie. He knew that it couldn't be true. If he kept imagining different things, he had control himself. He took deep breathe and started saying name of God. He closed his eyes. He always kept chanting. He didn't sense when he fall asleep but he was woke up again when he sensed that some one was coming inside his bed sheet. He screamed loudly without thinking. Then before he could control himself his parents managed to enter in room. They were asking him what happened. Harish " He must had nightmare. He started screaming in sleep." Harish started laughing but his parents gave him angry look. Mom " It must had happened due to stress of entire day. He had to stay in home alone." Dad " It is not easy. You went away to watch movie while he stayed in home. He spend whole day alone in this house." Harish " So he is scared since he stayed alone?" Dad screamed " Stop this. You went away for your personal enjoyment and now you are taunting him." " No Dad I was just saying..." Mom " We don't want to hear anything from you." By this time Ravi came to his senses. Ravi " Mom I felt as if something coming inside my bed sheet." Mom " Coming inside your bed sheet." They started searching around but they found nothing. Dad " It's just bad dream go to sleep." Ravi nodded. He went back to sleep. He decided that he would not let anything scare him in night. After that incidence Ravi had many nightmares but finally he woke up. He was so happy that he didn't scream again. Harish " Good Morning. Why were you so scared last night? Did you do some thing wrong? Nightmares are sign of guilty mind." Ravi " Nonsense. I just had nightmare since it happen to every one once in while." Then he went out of bed. During that whole day he felt totally relaxed. He felt that he had managed to get over his fear finally. He was so glad. He slept that day with full confidnce. But then in middle of night he suddenly woke up. He once again sensed that cold touch on his hand. He took his hand inside. It was wet. He decided that he had to face his fear. He decided that he would open his eyes and see that thing. He opened his eyes. He could clearly see. It was something alive. It was about to jump on him. He screamed loudly and that thing vanished. Once again every one woke up. This time his parents looked irritated. They didn't want it turn into every day scene. Mom " What happened?" Ravi gave forced smile. " Nothing Mom just nightmare. I think I might sleep in hall this way I will not disturb others." Harish " Good Decision." Dad " Harish!!" " Come on Dad. Tomorrow is my first day in office. I don't want to look worst." His Dad looked confused. Ravi just took his bed sheet and ran outside before Dad's second thought. He felt a lot better in hall. Hall had so many window. He could see streets with one window. He was sure that it would reduce his fear and he would sleep properly. He felt so relaxed. He slowly closed his eyes. He hoped that he did have nightmare. But when he woke up next morning he was totally tired. His Mom" You kept talking entire night yesterday." " Entire night? About what?" " I don't know may be some monster?" " Monster or ghost? "" I don't heard you properly but I just feel you need proper rest." " I know Mom but I keep getting those nightmares. I can't sleep peacefully." " We have to do something about them. I can see dark circles are developing under your eyes too. I think we might need to visit Doctor." Ravi started to feel scared. He didn't want to tell truth to any one but if this Doctor came in picture he had to tell truth. He didn't want it. " Mom give me few days it will vanish." His Mom didn't look convinced but still she agreed. " So we try for one week if it work we will not go to Doctor but otherwise we don't have option." Ravi nodded. He decided that it might take some cough syrup today. It might help him. He could pretend that he was sick by coughing little bit. He was sure that his Dad would give him some. He smiled with happiness. He was so glad that he managed to get idea. His Mom suddenly spoke " You were coughing little bit yesterday you might drink cough syrup to night." He smiled so Mom must be thinking just like him. He was so happy. " Mom it might help me sleep too." His Mom nodded. She wanted to give it a try too. No one wanted to go to Doctor. Ravi felt so sure that he would sleep to that night. Mom " Hurry up. You must not get late to school." He nodded and went to school.
Ravi sat in bus. He soon started feeling sleepy. Ravi to his friend " I don't sleep yesterday so I am sleeping in bus tell me when we reach." Friend nodded. Ravi had nice sleep. He didn't woke up until his friend didn't inform him. He didn't even had any nightmare. When he reached to school, he felt so much fresh. He started working again. He sensed one thing that he needed sleep. But still his friend asked " What happened? Why are you looking so tired?" " Nothing." Another friend " Did you watch those horror movies which told us you were going to watch when your parents were gone away? " "Yes." His every friend looked thrilled. Friend " Did you like them?" Ravi smiled " They were nice." " But he is having nightmares every day after watching them." His best friend told it. Ravi was angry but then he sensed his friend was just concerned. They needed advice. " Did you told your parents about this adventure?" " Not until now." " You must tell them. If you can't able to sleep then you will fall sick." " I can see effect on his eyes already." They all started watching him carefully. He sensed one thing that he needed help. They all seemed to think so. During class he kept yawning. His teacher started to look at him with anger. He sensed one thing those were warning for him. Many teachers even asked if he was sick. He gave excuse of suffering with cold. When he reached home, he was totally exhausted. His Mom was shocked to see his face. Mom " I just can't believe it. You started to look so much ill." He started to feel sick too. Ravi " May be I just need Doctor?" His Mom nodded. "Mom listen to me and first promise me that you will not tell it to any one." " What?" " I made one mistake." Then she told every thing to her. Mom " We must meet Doctor if this is happening you due to watching movies. This is something not right. " His Mom called family Doctor. She told him every thing on phone. She started asking for medicine. " What psychiatrist? But problem is not so serious." Ravi started to cry slowly. Mom turned to him " Just relax." Ravi " Mom I don't want any one to know about it." Mom " Let me talk to Doctor. Then I will tell you." Ravi nodded. Mom said " Great so we don't to tell any one thanks lot." Mom turned to Ravi " Doctor will give us that appointment with psychiatrist in which you might pretend to be going to some art class and I will go with you." "What about Dad?" " We need to tell him." " No Mom. He will keep screaming on me." Ravi started crying then in few moments Mom agreed with him. He felt little relaxed. But then in evening Dad came to him. Dad smiled at him. He made sure that Harish went inside room. Dad " Ravi why are you scared of me? "" I am not scared." " Then why do you feel I blame you?" " Mom told you!!" "No Doctor did." " Doctor?" " Yes." " Mom told him to tell you." Ravi started to look angry. Dad " So you hate me so much that you don't want me to know." " No Dad but she lied." " How did she suppose to get money without telling me? It is not free. You need to understand it. She didn't have much option and I am not blaming you." " You will tell Harish?" " Do you think I am stupid? He was taunting you on every moment. I will never do that." Ravi smiled. Then Ravi went to sleep in hall. Mom had given him cough syrup. He was sleeping like baby at beginning. But then suddenly he felt a touch. He could sense it. Something was touching his hand. He was so scared. He needed to get rid of it. He was so scared. He knew that he needed to hold it. He felt it. Then he suddenly sensed some wet touch. He decided that he must not scream. He just stayed inside bed sheet. He was shivering. He suddenly began to feel need of going to toilet. It was worst thing. He didn't want to remove bed sheet while that thing was out. He took deep breathe. Soon he sensed that he was sleeping. It was due to that cough syrup. He had to go to toilet. He slowly removed bed sheet. He looked around. He sensed nothing was there. He sensed that he kept dreaming. He started to look around that hall. He didn't see any thing in darkness. He was so scared. He ran to light. He started it. That room was totally normal. He began to look around. He sensed one thing that he needed Doctor. He started crying slowly. Soon his parents came out, they must had seen his light. They started to try to clam him down. But his Dad also declared that they couldn't wait for long. Ravi knew truth this too. Harish also came out. Ravi knew that he was going to taunt him. But he looked scared too. He must had felt fear due to Ravi's condition. He just kept standing quietly in corner of room. Ravi was so glad. Harish " Dad it might be just nightmare. It will go away." Ravi felt so glad that Harish was talking with this positive attitude. But he knew that it was impossible. He needed a Doctor. But still even his Mom started saying " It is just dream. He need doctor to stop them. We can't keep on like that." Ravi nodded in agreement. Then his parents helped to go to sleep. He knew just one thing now. He couldn't stop his dream by himself. He needed a Doctor. He decided that he would go by his parent's advice and ignore Harish. After all Harish was too young to give him proper advice. Still Ravi liked his kind gesture. He smiled happily since his entire family was helping him in this trouble.
Next day Ravi was so stressed. He just wanted appointment of Doctor. He wanted to help. He knew that he couldn't survive like that. He knew that he needed help. He needed to sleep. He called Mom " When are you calling Doctor? I need him immediately. Can I see him today?" " Relax. You can't just go to psychiatrist like that. You need appointment." " Appointment? Then take appointment of today evening or tomorrow morning? " " Let me try." Mom went inside. Harish suddenly came to him. Harish " Do you really feel you can't control this dream? I mean you can ignore it." " No I can't I need a Doctor." " If you go to psychiatrist then they all call you mad." Ravi was so upset. But then he remembered those miseries of last night. He couldn't bear to have them again. He didn't want to be called mad but he knew that he must be mad. If he deny it then it would come before all. " If I don't go to Doctor, I will become totally mad." " So you feel psychiatrist cure you? Nonsense. My one friend went to psychiatrist. He gave him medicines. Slowly he became more mad. Day by day he started to just sleeping. He didn't understand where was his mouth. His Mom started to feed him." Ravi began to shiver. When Mom entered, Mom smiled " I got appointment of today. I convinced nurse to accommodate us. But it would be at night." Ravi " I don't want to go to psychiatrist." Mom looked so angry. " I take appointment. You are going there at least for one time. If you don't want we stop going. No excuses." Ravi looked confused. Harish looked scared. Ravi " One time can't harm me." Mom " Doctor never harm person sickness did. You need to understand it." Ravi nodded it. Harish suddenly vanished out of picture. After that whole time Mom kept entertaining him. Mom didn't want him to change mind. Then when Dad came from Office, they went to psychiatrist. Harish stayed in home. They waited in long line. Ravi was shivering with fear entire time. But when they finally went inside, suddenly every thing began to feel better. Since psychiatrist talked with Ravi in friendly way. Psychiatrist " So you see nightmares and you also feel touch on your hand." " Yes. Something cold touch me. It even tried to enter in my bed sheet once." " But did you try to see it?" "No. I never did it." " So you don't able to sleep at all." " No I slept peacefully in school bus." " Nothing touch you there." " No. It must be due to those movies." " Stop blaming yourself. Due to movies you might get nightmares for few days. But don't feel something touch you. According to your talking. Those dreams were started after you felt this touch. Am I wrong?" Ravi " No you are right." " Do you feel any thing else expect cold touch when that thing touch you?" Ravi started remembering then he remembered. When it entered in bed sheet, he felt pain on leg. " On first time I feel pain on leg." " Can you let me check your leg?" " Well it is just scratch of my nail due to fear." "Let me decide." Ravi was so scared. But his parents insisted so he went inside with Doctor. Psychiatrist checked his leg and then came out. Ravi " Doctor you can see I have scratched leg due to fear." Psychiatrist " No. You don't. A cat did. It is scratch by cat or dog. But I don't feel dog can enter in bed sheet like. Unless it is small dog." Dad " But we don't have dog or cat?" " Then may be some one is scaring your son with intention?" " Who can do this?" Psychiatrist thought for few moments. Psychiatrist " Did some one tried to scare you regarding visiting me?" " Yes. My brother Harish did." " So it is Harish. Did Harish have any pet cat?" Mom " Actually he wanted to keep one but we don't let him since Ravi was small at that time. I didn't want extra work." " But it seem Harish had kept it somewhere and managed to train it." Dad " But how could he do that to his younger brother?" " It happens sometime. He was so angry that Ravi cheated him. He must had located those movies which Ravi wanted to watch so he decided to punish him." Mom " But this is horrible." Mom started to look angry. Psychiatrist " Don't get angry on him. I feel he might need treatment. Did he have any cause to feel frustrated or depressed?" Dad " Actually his grandfather died few days ago. We wanted to go to meet him but we couldn't able to go since Ravi's exam was there. Harish was big enough to go alone but we thought that we all should go together. We never thought that he would die so soon. On that day Harish kept blaming it on Ravi. On funeral he kept abusing Ravi. He created big scene before his grandfather's body. All relatives were shocked but then after some time he suddenly started apologizing. We thought that he did it on impulse." " No. He decided to forgive one mistake of Ravi. But Harish needed counseling on that point only. " Mom " But he will not come here easily." Psychiatrist " Tell him that if he didn't come here now, he might land in mental hospital. He might change his decision and sent Ravi to somewhere to stay for few days if possible. Harish might blame it on Ravi too." Mom nodded. She called their grand mother who was willing to let Ravi stay. " But we can't keep Ravi there like that." Psychiatrist " Don't worry. You might need to keep Harish here for some days. " Mom " But you said that mental hospital as threat." " No. Harish needed to stay under observation for few days. He might turn in wrong way if he didn't get treatment." " But what happened to him? " Psychiatrist " I will tell it after checking him." Ravi's parents nodded. His parents immediately sent him to his grand mother. Harish immediately agreed to come to psychiatrist. He was crying. When he came to psychiatrist, he confessed. " Doctor it was just joke. I confess I made mistake. I was missing my grandfather so much then Ravi started to fool me. I thought I might pay joke on him. But then he started creating scene. I began to feel scared. I didn't want to my parents to know so I did it. I never wanted to hurt him. Please forgive me." Doctor nodded. Then Harish smiled. Then Psychiatrist told nurse to take him out. Psychiatrist " Your son is suffering from Anti social personality disorder. Did he acted like bully in school?" His parents nodded. Mom " He always acted aggressive. He was never easy to handle." " He was lying even now. He just wanted to avoid hospital. He didn't have any regret. He didn't need to repeat things to convince dream. Person can have nightmare once. While talking about Ravi, he was slowly smiled when he said cat hurt him then hide it. He needed proper treatment." " But why this happened to him?" " There are many physical causes. We need to check them. But you are lucky. He didn't did any crime." But then Dad looked confused. Psychiatrist " Tell me. Don't act shy." Dad " Actually before my father died, he sent one gift to Ravi. Harish didn't like it at all. He wanted grandfather just for himself. He didn't confess that he went there but one of my friend from village said " Why your son was creating scene he was with him in village yesterday I saw him in shop while buying some snacks?" I thought that he confused Harish with some one else." Mom started crying. Mom " That cat which I denied to keep was found dead next day. So this must be different cat." Psychiatrist " Go and search for this cat. It might be dead and hidden in your house somewhere. I feel Harish would blame cat for this mess."His parents started shivering. Mom " Will he become alright?" " Yes he will. But he will need to stay in hospital for long time." They nodded and stood up. Then Psychiatrist called them back again. Psychiatrist " Don't put every blame on Harish. Harish might had argued with grandfather and he might had heart attack due to it. We all just keep thinking that." Mom and Dad nodded. But they sensed one thing that they prefer to keep Ravi away from Harish. Dad called grand mother and told her that she should take admission for Ravi in school near her house. Then Ravi took phone from her. He was so happy. Ravi"Dad please let me stay here." " Sure." Then they chatted and disconnected call. They decided to keep their children separate.
