Adventure story 295. Mina's kitty party

Mina woke up and looked in watch. It was time to woke up but she was too tired to do that. She knew that she had to wake up but this was happening every day now. She kept feeling tired. She wanted to talk with some one about it. But then she knew that no one was interested in her. She was all alone in this crowd. If she wanted to share her happiness she could see line of friends who wanted to drag it away from her. She just felt one thing. She had managed to make totally wrong type of friends. She needed to learn to make friendship wisely. Her friends always kept using her. They never cared for her. She knew that she had lot of friends on her kitty party. But she didn't need them now. Since she knew that her money was vanishing like air and if she didn't contribute enough then soon they would vanish in air. She knew that she needed money for her luxuries. She looked around her room. She had every thing still she had nothing. It indicated one thing that she married to rich man. She was doing her job perfectly so she got double income. She had one kid who was studying in school. She hardly manged to see his face. Since she was too busy. Actually she wanted to do her work that manage some spare time for her friends. She tried to spend some time with her son but it was totally useless thing. Her son was fond of things which were too childish for her taste. She tried once to spend her time with him. She just couldn't manage to entertain herself. It was just too suffocating. She couldn't play those games which belonged to kids. She couldn't tolerate those cartoons. She just told babysitter to take care of him and went out of his room. Her son was used to get obsessed about her when he was small child like normally kids did. But now he had also managed to get over that stage. He started playing on his own. Sometimes he wanted to go out but she had babysitter and driver for that purpose. She didn't need to interfere. So she had few hours for her friends. She managed to her work from house only. At beginning she needed to go to office but now with laptop that obstacle was removed. Now she could do her work from house. She woke up and looked at time. Now she needed just one thing that was start working as fast as she could. Since for her get-together with her friends she needed money or more partners. They had to meet after few days in large hotel. Her husband Kedar never demanded money from her. But he also warned her against spending too much money on those parties. He didn't mind spending in limit but when she started spending too much, he told her that she must use it just from her earning. She knew that she needed more money now. Her few friends were from rich families so they could managed to give those parties in their home only. But she needed to select hotel and book hall to arrange it. It was too costly for them. She needed to work for it or she might need few more friends to reduce her days. She began to work. Her head was paining due to over exertion. She was working hard but she knew that one day with that money she was also going to make party hard. It was her life. She needed to those parties to stay alive. Her family was nice and perfect but those parties are with her friends. They managed to make her soul happy. She just didn't want to leave them. She started working when her servant entered in room. Kiran " Madam you start to work again? This way you will get sick." " I know but I must complete my work. I am nothing without work" Kiran was clearly impressed by her dedication towards work. Kiran " Madam you are really hard working but you need to relax on few times too." Mina gave her sweet smile. " I am fine. Just do one thing for me. Make a cup of strong coffee. My head is paining." " Is it due to that party?" " Come on you said just few moment ago. I need to relax and now you are complaining about party." " That party is not relaxation. Relaxation will be playing with Anu or going out with sir." " Come on. You know very well your sir don't have time for trip and I just get bored while playing with Anu. I just can't enjoy it. And any way Anu hardly miss me." Kiran " And that is not good news." Mina just decided that she had it enough. " Now I need a coffee and let me complete my work. I don't want to waste my time." " As you wish Madam but just take care of your health." Then Kiran went away. She brought coffee but she didn't comment any more. Kiran must had got message which Mina was giving. She decided not to argue more. After all Kiran was just servant.
    Mina started finishing her work. She was trying to grab more and more contract. She wanted to earn more money and by grabbing those contracts she was getting commission on each work. She was so happy about it. She wanted to complete her work step by step. But she knew that she had to do it fast. Her head was paining so much. She started searching for painkillers in drawer of cupboard. Finally she found medicine. She took one tablet and then she started to wait for it's effects on mind. It was so hard for her. She had to began her work fast. Slowly that tablet started working. She began to sense that her pain were reduced. She began to complete her work. After few hours she sensed that she did enough. She needed to take rest. She couldn't carry on like that when suddenly her friend's message appeared on chat. She decided that she needed change. Rita wrote 'I was thinking last night that I need to arrange our party somewhere else that my house my husband is complaining.' She wrote ' Same here.' 'But those hotels are too costly. She started working again. She needed money on every time. It was hard work that always provided ways to her. She needed to work hard to earn every rupee. But sometimes she just had to forget all other things and just needed to concentrate on work. She had to work so hard overnight. She just had to do work. Then she suddenly shocked when she sensed touch on her shoulder. It was her son. He was no longer little boy. He was now twelve year old boy who had his choices. It was so strange that he decided to visit her. Her son Kalpesh never entered in her room until now. Even in his childhood he used to hate her room. She always kept it without much decoration. She wanted her room to be simple and plain. It was worst for her when any one get attracted towards it. Kalpesh sat near her " Mom I want to go out with you." " With me? Why?" " Since other kids go out on picnic and movies with their parents. You and Dad hardly have time for me. Specially you!! Since Dad took me to mall on Sunday but you are too busy with your friends even on Sunday. Can't you find sometime for me?" She was so confused. She knew that she had to say yes. She knew that it would be another boring cartoon film. Her son was just not getting over them. But any way even Kedar looked them at this age so it would be like a father like a son. Mina " But Kalpesh you know very well those cartoons irritate me?" " Mom can't you watch just one movie for me? I am not demanding so much. Am I?" She was shocked by his attitude. Mina finally smiled " Okay. Fix your date and tell Mom and Mom will come." He was so happy. He hugged her and went out of room. She knew that he was glad. She was happy about it too. But that suggested one thing to her mind that she needed to work hard. Then suddenly She saw another message on chat by Rita. Rita " I think we must find new friends for our kitty." Mina was confused by this. Mina " Why?" " This was we can adjust very well. More people we have less will be our spending." " But we need more food and drinks." " But hotel expenses are more than expenses of other things. Mostly that room just remain half empty and they always cook little bit extra food which could be used that for few more girls." " You are right. We can easily accommodate few more mouths in it." ¿" Mina " So I try to find few more friends." Then suddenly Rita vanished once again from chat. Mina started to remember all her friends. They were group from school and college. She needed to find more. Then she went back to work. Finally it was completed. She said it to her client and took breathe of relief. She had to wait for few hours to confirm from client that she did it right. Those hours were worst for her every time. If client complained, she had to do it again. But she decided that she could wait now. First she needed to talk with Kalpesh about Movie. She wanted to go in theater which was near by and she had keep that day empty. She went in Kalpesh's room after planning and creating list of question she needed to ask. She was never great at parenting so she always needed revision before going ahead. She was glad that she knew all question this time. Since they were simple nothing regarding his emotions. So she went in his room happily. She just needed to spend one day to get merit badge of good mother. She smiled. She sensed that it was simple. She could keep nice babysitter and spend one day with him. She knew that she could do every thing in right way now. She went in his room with full confidence to win his heart. After all she managed to satisfy so many people in business world. She could easily satisfy a small kid. She went in his room well prepared and practiced to convince him that she was perfect Mom.
  When Mina entered in Kalpesh's room, she sensed that everything was totally unknown. All interior was totally changed. She started to sense that Kalpesh was totally unknown person. She went near him. Mina " I feel I have not spend much time with you. I can sense it now. So what day did you decided?" " Relax Mom. I will inform you about it before. I know that you have your schedule. Did you want me to give you timings which will be available? Then judge which one will suitable for you." She smiled. She was little bit glad that her son was mature enough to sense value of time." Kalpesh returned back to computer. Mina " What are you doing?" Kalpesh was so happy. His Mom was taking interest in him. He started to show his Mom his new project work from school. Then he slowly started to talk about his new video game. He was so happy. Mina was not really interested in it but still she pretended that she was interested in him. She had to do it as per duty. Then suddenly her mobile rang. She saw that it was Rita. Mina " This is from my office. I have to take." Kalpesh looked clearly upset. " You can just fix time of movie and tell me. We will go." Kalpesh smiled and started searching for timing. She went out of room. Rita " What happened? You are planning to go for some movie?" " Actually my son was insisting that we must go on outing." Rita laughed on phone. Mina sensed  that she must had faced same problem. Rita " Did you search for friends?" Mina " No. But it will start now." " Great. Just go on face book and start locating friends. Then slowly approach them. Mostly they all wanted to enjoy their life. They will agree." Mina " Thanks. I will began to do that." Then Mina went on internet. She started to search for friends. She did find some friends. She started to approach them. She sensed one thing that her friends were not that much interested in answering. Most of them were already involved in some other group and some were staying far away from her location. She was clearly upset by this. She wanted to find proper friend. Then she once again returned to work. She knew that she needed more money. She started working hard. She had no other option. Then finally Kiran came with lunch. She forced to take some rest. She started eating. Kiran began to talk about their outing. Kiran " Kalpesh is really very happy about it. Kedar sir is also planning every thing. I am sure this will be a perfect picnic for entire family. I wanted to tell you that you must go out with them on at least few times. Now a days your entire time is just going after your work and friends." Mina " I know..I know. But they are my friends from childhood. I can't say just know to them." " But you can drink in limit.." Kiran said it then immediately apologized. Kiran " Madam I don't want to say it in this way. But after those parties mostly you come back in worst shape. Many time Kalpesh saw you in that condition that is not good for small child." Mina looked at her with anger " Did you say same thing about Kedar when he came back drunk?" Kiran looked confused. " So if I do that thing, I did crime and if a man do that thing then it is fair. Don't you feel it is wrong attitude?" " But you are mother?" " So what? He is father!!" Mina screamed loudly. When suddenly Kalpesh's babysitter entered. Babysitter " Will you say it in slow voice? Kalpesh can hear this argument. I don't feel when any of his parent came home after getting drunk he like it. If you want I will can tell same thing to Kedar sir too. But I felt that it would be better if you do it as wife. I mean instead of getting drunk yourself you can stop him or he can stop you any thing will be better. Any way this is timing of show and please talk in low voice. I don't want to Kalpesh to get upset." Mina nodded. She also didn't want to upset her son. Since somewhere in her soul she knew that her arguments were empty, she couldn't say that she was doing right thing because Kedar did it. She knew that on next party she must took alcohol in limit. Mina " Fine. Next time I will drink carefully. I will drink in limit." Then once again she started searching for friends. Finally she gave up. She sensed one thing that it was not as easy as Rita thought. She had to check out every friend and her attitude now. She could see many friends were totally changed. She had to approach them so she kept sending them friend's requests with one hope that finally she would find a suitable friend out of them. Then she once again returned to her work. She was not excited about going out to movie with family but she was excited about going on that kitty party. She liked it far more than anything. That party was every thing in her eyes and she was happy if more friends got involved in it. She wanted to enjoy her life fully. But she knew that she needed to work patiently for doing it. She kept searching after finishing some part of work. She decided that she could make it her hobby. This way she would surely find few friends one day.
  Mina started this new work from that day. Even Rita started to join her sometimes. Rita slowly became regular guest this way. They started to search for new friends. Kalpesh never entered in his Mom's room until now. His baby sitter kept stopping him but now he started to grow up. He had freedom to go wherever he wanted to go. He started to hear their conversation. Rita " I don't understand why didn't you even manage to make one friend? I mean we all are managing to get two or three friends at least. I know some will come and join kitty and some will not but you can't even find friends to chat." " They all were too busy." " Ohh my god. Let me see." Then Kalpesh slowly looked inside. Mina and Rita started looking in computer. Rita " You are right all those girls are useless. But you must keep searching." Then Rita showed her Rita's facebook. She started showing Mina her different friends. It was so funny. Mina liked it. She started chatting with them. Soon she got included even in their page. Rita smiled. " So you need to do it this way." Mina " You are so smart." " I know but you need to become smart too. Yesterday we all have decided that every one have to find friend. It is important. You need to understand value of increasing our group.." Then Rita started lecturing. Kalpesh went back to his room. He started to think about that conversation. Kalpesh started to sense that his Mom was getting addicted to parties. He had seen many kitty parties. But no one he had seen was so obsessed with those parties. He sat on his chair and started to find right time. He finally should right sort of timing for all. He had chosen his favorite picture. He confirmed it's timing and then called Kedar who agreed to come with him. Then he went in Mina's room again. Rita was gone by that time. He was glad. He told Mom timing of movie. Mina nodded. Then Mina once again went back to work. Mina was not that much concern. But Kalpesh was happy that she agreed to come. So it all was planned. On that day Mina decided that she must give full attention to her family. She decided to dress in way which Kedar liked. Then she did everything in kitchen which they loved. She did everything with full attention to make them happy. She decided that she must not left anything back. Every one was so happy. Then finally they reached to theater. Mina was standing in line of ticket with her family when she suddenly noticed a woman. She recognized her immediately. She was one girl of her college group. That girl was too shy. Mina never showed much concern about her. But still she was in her group and she felt that she was easy target. She could easily convince her to join their group. Mina looked confused when that girl started going inside. Mina decided that it was her moment. Mina ran towards her. Mina " Hello do you recognize me? We were in same college?" That shy girl was no longer shy. She gave her bold and confused look. She just smiled. Kalpesh sensed something was wrong. He knew that her Mom was harassing that woman without need. He wanted his Mom with him so he immediately went there. " Come on Mom. Let's take ticket." Mina nodded. Mina " This is my son." That girl just nodded without much response. Kalpesh literally pulled her towards Ticket counter. That girl managed to go in theater during that time. Mina felt so upset but she managed to hide it under her smile. Kedar had came back towards her. She gave him sweet smile. So Kedar smiled back and then they went inside theater. They pretended as if they were a perfect couple. Mina fully cooperated in this process but actually she was searching for that girl. Kalpesh could sense it. Then Mina sensed that this girl was watching same movie. She decided that she must go out ahead of her so that she could get chance to talk with her. She just waited patiently for interval. Then she just ran ahead of her family. She just stood there. But that girl diplomatically avoided her. That girl went away from other side. Kalpesh was so upset. Kalpesh " Dad what is wrong with Mom? It seemed as if she didn't want to stay with us." Kedar " It is nothing like that. I will talk to her." Kedar went out and then once again stood by her side. Kedar " Why did you ran ahead?" Mina was so confused. Mina " I..I." Kalpesh " Let us take something to eat." Mina nodded. They went to snack counter. But Mina was so upset. One thing was clear this girl didn't want to make friendship with her. She needed a friend for kitty. Then she sat near her husband and son. But she was not happy. She just wanted to go back home. She wanted to search for more friends. She just couldn't quit kitty party. She sensed that it was her life. She didn't feel any one from her family cared for her so much as her friends. Her husband was too busy and her son soon found friends and vanish out of her life so she needed Kitty. She decided that she would locate someone else soon. She just pretended that she was enjoying movie. But Kedar kept sensing something was wrong with her. She was no longer that Mina who used to enjoy movies with him. She was changed. She was thinking about something else. First time Kedar sensed suspicion which was building in his soul. She was so uninterested in watching movie with him did she like  someone else? He was so upset. But then he convinced himself that he was overreacting. He smiled at Mina. She returned his smile.
  When Mina returned from movie, she immediately sat on computer. She started to find friends. She began to invite more girls. She started to sending message to them all. She began to wait for answer but she didn't seem to get any. She started to feel that she needed to try more. Then Rita came on chatting again. Rita " We will have kitty party today. So you are coming?" Mina suddenly began to feel so scared. Mina knew that she needed a friend. Mina " I don't found friend until now." " Ohh. Don't worry. You can still come. We will adjust." Mina send smiley. But she began to feel tense. She needed friend for kitty now. She decided that she must ask entire society regarding it. She went to mirror and she did make up. She looked at herself in mirror. She was looking so beautiful in mirror. She felt confident. Then she went out. She started from neighbor. She went inside her house and started convincing her neighbor. Soon it became clear that neighbor was not interested. Mina started to tell her how did they enjoyed it. Her neighbor Kamini " Actually I don't like parties that much. I just like to enjoy my time in home." " But you must become social." " I don't like it." Slowly Mina started telling her that she was becoming loner. Kamini looked hurt. Kamini " I just feel you are getting too much carried away due to those kitty parties. " Mina was confused. Mina " I don't get it." " Every time I saw you returning from that party. You were drunk. I don't want that kind of thing to happen to me." " Come on. Now a days drinking is common." " Sure. But getting drunk and having trouble in walking is not common." Mina was hurt now. She just said bye to Kamini and went out. But she didn't stop there. She started going to every neighbor. Kamini saw it. She felt that this was totally wrong. Mina was forcing others to join that Kitty party. She decided that she must talk with Kedar. Soon she saw many ladies from society gathered in garden. She clearly heard name of Mina. She went down. Kamini " What happened?" " That Mina was too much. She is harassing every one regarding joining kitty party." Kamini " I think she wanted to find new friend." " They just wanted to grab money. It is wrong." Kamini " I know. I will go with my husband and talk with Kedar." " That is better or we might have to complaint to secretary." After her failure Mina once again went home. She got ready for kitty party and went away. On that day she kept trying to entertain her all friends. In that efforts she just lost count of her drinking. She sensed one thing those friends were not interested in her. She began to feel more upset. She had to do something to grab their attention. She didn't understand what would be interesting. Then she got one idea. She could dance on gallery corner which was so small. She needed their attention, She was so drunk that she was losing logic but that thought didn't touch to her on that point. She just ran toward gallery. She stood up on wall of gallery. Rita screamed " Stop it. You will fall." Soon all Hotel security gathered. Manager began to scream " Stop this lady. You will fall. Did she drunk too much?" Her friends nodded. It was like flying in sky. She no longer cared for anyone. She just wanted to fly in sky. On some part of soul she was still tense but that dance was relaxing her. Manager " We need to take her down by force. Can we do it?" Rita " Sure." Then slowly waiter and security went near her. They grabbed her down. She got so violent. She began to punch people. It was horrible. All her friends were so scared. Soon Police arrived and they took her with them. She was still talking about flying. In her mind she was just flying in sky. She didn't sense reality. Kedar was talking with Kamini and her husband when he received call from Police. He was shocked. Kedar was so scared. He could able to hide any thing. He told every thing to Kamini. Kamini " Can I suggest you one thing?" " Yes." " Take her to psychiatrist." Kedar nodded. He sensed touch on shoulder. Kalpesh was standing behind him. " Dad please do it. Mom is acting strange." He nodded. Then when he went Police station with Kamini's husband, they explained every thing to Police. Police " You must admit her to hospital. They will manage it." Kedar nodded. Police " We have talked with Hotel. They are not interested in filing case. They sensed that she was having mental trouble. In fact they were saying. They would take back case if you give them in written that your mad wife would not return in hotel." " How could they say that? My wife is not mad?" " Ohh really? Go and see her in jail.She is still flying. All other women started complaining. We need to give her separate lock up." Kamini's husband " It might be happening due to too much drinking.." Police said with anger " If you want to take risk go ahead take her and wait until she don't did this stunt without alcohol but don't blame me she got killed. I am warning you. Take her to hospital not home." Kedar " I just want to see her." Police showed her. He went near her jail. She was dancing. Then she suddenly stopped. She began crying. She started telling him that she needed friends of Kitty party. He was so shocked. He went to Police and asked about psychiatrist. Police told him that he would help him in taking her to hospital. Kedar thanked him. Then they went to hospital in police car. Mina was totally scared. She kept sitting near Kedar. She kept saying " I just wanted to make new friends for Kitty party. " When she entered in hospital, Police showed them direction to Doctor's cabin and went away. Kedar and Kamini's husband were totally scared. They slowly took Mina inside. When they went to reception, one junior Doctor came and told them to follow her. Then Doctor told them to come inside. Then they had to wait outside while he was talking with Mina. Then Psychiatrist came out. " Your wife is suffering depression which lead obsessive-compulsive Disorder. She wanted to be happy and she thought if she became rich she would be happy. But when Kedar started spending more time in office. She started to feel irritated by responsibilities of family. She wanted to freedom. Since she felt her friends could give her true freedom but it was false thought. She needed a treatment. Slowly I would convince her that her family and her work is her true life not her friends." " When will she come home?" Psychiatrist " I need to check if she was addicted to alcohol. If she is not then she will be discharge in week." Kedar nodded. " But you have to come for counselling sessions too." Kedar nodded. Then they went out. Whole time Kedar was just thinking what he was going to tell Kaplesh since Kamini's husband told him, He would tell society that Mina behaved strange due to Blood Pressure trouble. So Kedar could relaxed on at least one front but he felt one thing his life started one unknown journey. But he knew that when it was over. He would be most happy person in world so he smiled with hope and started moving ahead.
