Adventure story. 757. Destroying beloved things

                                       Destroying beloved things

Sandip kept thinking about different ways to please his daughter. Tina was visiting house after long time. He knew that he never wanted to keep Tina in hostel but still his situation forced him to do it. It was so painful. He still remembered that day when his wife died in that car accident. He was feeling so confident regarding completing his project at office. He showed it to Boss. Boss admired him. They were discussing promotion. Finally, they were going to shift in that big house. He was so happy. He even managed to make down payment for it. He knew that he was going to start new life. But he didn’t since on that point his little girl called him to tell her mom had accident & her mom might had died. He was so shocked. He was not expecting it. He asked his little daughter sweetly who called her. She said Cops. He told her to calm down & he called Cops himself. When he called, he needed to wait. It was so upsetting. For him every second seemed like centuries but finally he got his bad news. His wife was dead. He wanted to forget it. Now he was older & his daughter Tina was studying in college. Soon Tina would start to take decisions about her career. He knew that his life was not so important any more. He needed to take care of his daughter Tina & he did it. Tina was now adult. He was not supposed to take care for her any more. She could do it all. But his life was feeling so much empty since death of his wife. Sometimes he wished that he had married to someone else after death of his wife. In his office he knew one colleague. He knew that she used to admire him a lot. She used to think about him every day but he didn’t dare to propose her. Then his parents introduced him to his late wife. He started dating. But his life was shattered immediately after some years. Tina was little girl when his wife died. People considered ten years of marriage as long time but he never felt that way. He always felt that he just needed to take responsibility in this marriage. He didn’t get any positive out of it. He always felt that he could have married to someone else. But Tina never wanted step mom. He didn’t dare to introduce one. Once he brought his one colleague from office in home. She was one with two children & happily married life. But Tina felt that he was dating. Tina created such big drama before her. That colleague didn’t stay much longer. But before going she said “You are doing big mistake by spoiling your daughter this way. You are doing everything for her but she was not doing anything. You need someone in your life as wife.” “She doesn’t want step mom.” “Then she needs to behave nicely with you. You are wasting your entire life for her without getting married second time.” On that time Tina was in home just for vacation still Tina managed to create so much drama. He just didn’t dare to think about second marriage after it. He didn’t want to drag some innocent woman in this. So, he lived alone.

         Tina packed all. She was returning home. But she knew that it would be that old small home. Her dad was planning to buy big one. But after her mom’s death he just skipped that idea. He couldn’t able to save enough money. She knew that her dad always did all as per her mom’s wishes. Sandip was useless person in her view. Sandip worked hard but still Tina felt her dad never reached much. She knew that she never permitted to replace her mom since she was wise. She didn’t want partner in property. She was certain that she was wrong in every way. She deserved to be born to some rich & famous parents instead she was born to this house. It was so upsetting. She knew that her mom was so smart. If her mom had not died, she could have managed to make them rich. Her father was such a stupid man. Tina didn’t value anything given to her by Sandip. In her hostel all students were from poor family. She didn’t like it. She couldn’t able to make contacts with rich people due to it. She had decided already that she wanted to have hold on all property of her dad. Sandip was not smart enough to handle it. She was heir so she needed to get it. She knew that soon she needed to find one nice boy to get married too. It was important for her. She couldn’t just control her thoughts. She kept feeling negative about all. She wanted to drag everything. While Sandip was planning to give big room to his daughter, Tina was planning to take away entire house. For Tina she needed to find a way to move ahead & her father Sandip was biggest obstacle in it. She needed to get rid of him. She was certain about it. She slowly looked around. Her hostel room! She hated it. Other girls were sad & upset to left hostel but she was so happy about it. She felt so tense when she was staying there. She didn’t want to connect with those girls. She could observe they were sharing numbers with each other. But she just stood in corner. Then She looked towards timing. It was almost time for her airplane. She managed to make certain that she would get airplane tickets. She felt so positive about everything suddenly. She just went out of that room. She immediately started to feel hopeful. She was walking stylishly towards airport. Now she became one rich & fashionable lady for world. Her every step was so impressive & stylish. She smiled sweetly around. In her eyes nature was most beautiful on that day. It was celebrating her freedom from that hostel. She was going out to live in world & make her own place in it.

           Sandip smiled happily when he saw his daughter Tina coming towards him. He was waiting for her in home. She told him to not come to receive him. He didn’t understand why. He was thinking about carrying her luggage. He never paid so much attention to her expenses. He didn’t understand that she came by airplane. When he saw her, he went out. He smiled & said “Welcome back.” She looked towards him & said “So you bought that spectacles with golden frame?”  He felt so nervous. He knew that they were costly. He just nodded. She slowly went inside. She began to look around. “Wow you have wasted so much money on interior.”  He felt so confused. He wanted his house to look pleasant. He knew that he might had wasted little bit extra. He smiled nervously. “We wanted big house but due to my failure you can’t get it so I tried to make up for it.” “Come on Dad! You can’t able to earn enough that doesn’t mean you need to show you can waste more.” Sandip looked nervously towards Tina. He didn’t say anything. He knew that now he would get insulted on every step like that. He wanted to answer back but when Tina started to abuse, he just couldn’t bear it so he preferred to avoid argument. He said “I will avoid unnecessary expenses from now.” He decided that he would truly stop wasting money. After all his life was almost over. He began to think about creating budget. He slowly began to reduce his demands. Tina kept demanding it. Tina was very careful that she would get all. But she didn’t find suitable way to get herself introduced to rich world. She began to call all her friends. She even insisted in contacting Sandip’s friends. But due to her attitude Sandip’s friends started to keep away from him. She began to feel so deserted. Sandip kept tolerating. Day by day Tina’s screaming started increasing. She kept demanding things that were not possible. Sandip kept telling her that it was not possible but whenever he did that, she began to destroy memories of his late wife. He kept crying. He tried his best to get some help to please her but it was not happening. No one wanted to give her job. It kept happening for days. Finally, Sandip’s health began to get impacted. He visited doctor. Doctor asked about cause of stress. Sandip told him little bit about all. Doctor “Why don’t you give mental treatment to your daughter?” Sandip shivered with fear. “I don’t dare. She began to throw & destroy my all-beloved things.” “If you keep on this way one day you will die due to heart attack or some other issue will happen due to this stress which might lead you to a condition worse than heart attack. Why don’t you shift in some place which will good for senior citizens?” Sandip smiled happily. He was so excited & positive. On that day when they sat on dinner table Sandip started to tell entire story to Tina. “I wanted to buy one small flat in one senior…” “No need. Stay here.” She screamed loudly. He wanted to argue but he knew that it was useless. He looked towards his finances. He didn’t have much. He kept living in same way. One day as doctor predicated. He got mild heart attack. Then he decided to shift with his one relative. He was burden on them but still he stayed there. But he knew that he needed to return. During that time Tina managed to find one husband. He was ordinary hard-working man. She married him. But she was not happy. She kept coming back to Sandip’s house. Sandip was now living in his house again. Sandip tried his best to act happy about her. But still he kept feeling negative. Tina kept targeting him. Slowly he began to lose interest in life. Finally, one day Sandip died due to illness & depression.

          After Sandip’s death Tina stayed in that house for one day. She looked around. She could see his shadows. He was blaming her for mistreating him. He was blaming her for hiding all money. She kept seeing him. She began to tell him to go away. She was screaming loudly. Finally, her husband came out. There was not much option. Doctor came & told her husband to call mental hospital. Doctor said sadly “I was telling Sandip to start her treatment but she never listened. Now finally she will go to mental hospital after death of Sandip. It is so sad. Sandip could have lived happy life & would have been alive only if she had done this before.” Tina’s husband nodded. Finally, they admitted Tina to mental hospital for treatment.
