Adventure story. 745. Nina's book shelf

                               Nina's book shelf    

Nina began to read different sort of books. She needed to create one nice bookshelf in her house. Her younger cousin was coming home. She was so happy. She knew that Anaya loved books. So, she was carefully arranging them. She was always against sending Anaya out for studies. But everyone insisted. Her entire family died in one plane accident. Anaya was baby on that time. Anaya was in house with her mom. Anaya’s mom was her Auntie. Anaya’s mom was so sweet & caring. Even today Anaya’s mom was cooking in kitchen but she cooked for both, Anaya & Nina. Anaya’s mom treated Nina just like her daughter. Nina was school girl at the time it happened. It was so stressful. Nina was crying so much. Nina was feeling so positive in her soul now. Nina knew that she never got over her pain of death of family. Nina knew that no one in world really cared for her any more. She was all alone. Anaya was there but she had mom. Nina knew that when it came to actual personal issues Anaya’s mom would remain her mom. Nina wouldn’t receive any support. It was a little bit frustrating. Actually, she was confused in her heart. She knew as child she remembered her family but none of them was exactly affectionate towards her. She was unwanted daughter. But still it was her family. She needed them. Still on each day she kept asking one question to herself that did she feel her family would have loved her if they had been alive? That question was most depressing. Sometimes she felt as if no one loved her. She didn’t want to feel sad & depressed but her heart was feeling so pained. She kept telling herself that everything was fine when it was not. Nina was thinking about different books that she was planning to read but still she knew that it was not possible. These books were not for her. Anaya was going to enjoy them. She kept telling herself that this was house which she shared with Anaya but the way things were moving it seemed more like Anaya’s house than her. She felt so nervous. Sometimes she felt that this house didn’t belong to her. She was thinking when suddenly Anaya’s mom screamed from behind “I have cooked. Come & taste.” She felt so guilty. Anaya’s mom cooked all. She was just arranging one bookshelf & still she felt as if she was treated in wrong way. She looked towards bookshelf. It was easy task so her Auntie gave her most easy task. She was not forced to do any complicated job still she kept feeling that she was unwanted. She decided to forget that feeling & concentrated on her work.

       Anaya’s mom was so frustrated when Nina didn’t finish that bookshelf on time. Anaya needed it. Anaya was most important thing in house & Nina supposed to know it. Anaya was youngest & Anaya was most educated too. Anaya went abroad & came back after studying for such a long time. Anaya was special in her mom’s eyes. But she didn’t understand why Nina didn’t sense it. After all Nina knew very well that Nina was never smart like Anaya. Anaya always managed to impress all while Nina just kept doing her homework & earning normal grades. Those grades were not so important. Anaya got okay grades & Anaya also managed to make contacts. Those contacts were so important. In eyes of Anaya’s mom her daughter was smartest. On that time mobile rang. It was Anaya. Anaya’s mom was so happy. She started talking with Anaya. But suddenly call got disturbed. Anaya said “I need to end call. Don’t worry. I will come home soon.” Anaya’s mom felt so happy. Anaya’s mom told all to Nina. She could see Nina was pretending to be happy. But Nina was not happy. Nina was feeling so sad. It was so painful. Anaya wanted Nina to understand that Anaya was precious. Sometimes Anaya’s mom felt that Nina’s jealousy might bring negativity in Anaya’s future. Suddenly Anaya’s mom suggested to Nina “Do you want to go to movie?” Nina was so shocked. Frankly she was also not interested in meeting Anaya. Anaya was not answering her emails for long ago. It was so upsetting. She knew that Anaya didn’t give any respect to her. Nina smiled happily & said “I will go to movie. I need money.” Nina never had any hold on money while Anaya had it since she went abroad, she got hold of money. Anaya never gave any money in household but still after going abroad she received admiration for managing studies there. Nina didn’t know anything about abroad but she heard that Anaya was very admirable due to going there & studying. Now Anaya was even planning to do job in some company. Anaya was not goinggive any part of her salary in house but still Anaya was considered great than her. Nina wanted to say all this but she didn’t dare. She was so happy to get some money to go for movie. Nina smiled. She took money offered by Anaya’s mom & went away. Nina was so happy to watch a movie. She wanted to watch movies for such long time. But she knew that she needed someone as company. She began to call all possible options. At end she didn’t find any one so she decided to go with her teacher. Her teacher was nice old lady. She always wanted to spend some time with her.

        Nina’s teacher was observing Nina as child. She knew that Nina deserved better atmosphere in her house. Nina was always kept under control. Her parents were not so nice towards her but her Auntie seemed like worst. Auntie wanted to give everything to her daughter Anaya. But as teacher she didn’t have any authority. But now Nina was grown up. Nina was adult so Nina’s teacher wanted Nina to fight for her rights. Nina’s teacher was feeling so frustrated. When Nina called her, she immediately agreed to come to movie. Nina’s teacher wanted Nina to find way out of this mess. Nina needed her own life. It was very important for her. Nina’s teacher decided to wait outside mall. Nina’s teacher was expecting Nina in simple dress. She was shocked when she saw Nina. Nina was dressed in modern style. Nina smiled sweetly towards teacher & said “I need to look better to compete before Anaya. Now she is coming.” Her teacher nodded. Whole time Nina was acting so different. It was not exactly bad but it was nothing like Nina. It seemed as if Nina was planning something different in her mind. Nina smiled towards her teacher & asked “Do you feel I am too childish?” Teacher didn’t understand Nina’s question. Teacher asked in confused voice “Why? What did you do?” Nina “I just took mobile & made one call to Anaya to tell her that she was going to get killed today.” Then Nina began to laugh. Teacher didn’t understand what was going on. “Nina if you are joking this is really a sick joke! I don’t like it.” Nina was laughed nervously. Nina began to talk “I am not lying.” Teacher looked so tense. Teacher “Nina you need to trust me. You need to get help.” Nina gave scared look to teacher. “What kind of help?” Teacher said in controlled voice “You need psychiatric help.” “I am not mad.” “Then why did you do that threat call?” “Because they were taking away all money. I have some right too.” “Of course. You have but if you make call like that then one day cop will catch you.” Nina suddenly began to look tense. Nina looked nervously towards teacher & asked “Then what I suppose to do?” Teacher felt so confused. Then teacher smiled. “Why don’t we start taking tuitions together?” Nina smiled nervously.  Nina “I don’t know but I will listen to you.” Teacher smiled happily. That day went happily. Nina decided to follow route that was shown by her teacher. Nina felt that she didn’t need to move ahead in wrong way.

       When Nina came in home first thing she immediately noticed that book shelf was destroyed. In its place there was something different. Nina came closer to it she sensed that it was some instrument on which person could dance & reduce weight. She was so angry. She screamed loudly “Who removed this?” Anaya came out running. Anaya “I did! Mom said it was for me.” Nina gave Anaya a angry look. Anaya sensed that it was not time to argue. Anaya “I am sorry. I will keep it back.” Anaya felt so nervous. She didn’t want to upset Nina. But Anaya’s mom came out & screamed angrily “Nina your books are useless. No one wanted them.” Nina felt so sad. She wanted to hit but her teacher warned her about Cops. So, Nina just went away. She knew that books were taken away. Nina was so angry. Anaya felt so scared. Anaya didn’t want to upset Nina. But her mom kept doing it. Anaya wanted to object but she was too scared to do it. Anaya needed all that mom gave her. Anaya just went after Nina. Anaya saw that Nina was sitting on bed. Nina was not doing anything. Nina was just looking towards wall. Anaya sat near her & asked “What happened? Why you are looking toward wall?” “Since I wanted to bury you & your mom in this wall but teacher objected.” Nina said this & began to laugh. Anaya was so shocked. Anaya didn’t understand if Nina was joking or Nina was truly planning to kill them. But Anaya didn’t want to consider it to be true so Anaya started laughing too. When Anaya started laughing suddenly Nina stopped. Nina asked “Why you are laughing?” Anaya looked more confused. Anaya “Since you laughed?” “So, if I hit my forehead on wall can you do it like me?” Anaya “What?” Nina repeated her question. Anaya decided to laugh again. This time Nina didn’t join just began to look towards wall. Anaya thought that she discussed enough so she opened her bags & started taking out her clothes. She needed to settle down in that house now. After all she was never going back abroad now. She needed to adjust here. She once again looked towards Nina nervously. Nina was still watching that wall with full concentration. Anaya shivered even by watching. Anaya didn’t want to think what Nina might be thinking in mind. Anaya was too scared to ask so she kept unpacking her things. Anaya knew one thing that something was wrong with Nina. She felt so sad. She sometimes wanted to help Nina. But she didn’t. Anaya’s mom always told her to stay away from Nina.

         Nina called teacher & told her everything. Teacher said “Let’s visit psychiatrist.” “But I don’t have money.” “No worries. You can teach in my tuition class. It will surely cover money you need for psychiatrist.” Nina felt so happy. She needed help. That day Nina went to Psychiatrist with teacher. Nina talked with Psychiatrist for long time. Then teacher came to understand issue. Psychiatrist said that this was happening due to those accidental deaths. No one in that house was acting soundly. Nina had issues & Anaya’s mom had too. Nina began her treatment. Slowly Nina began to feel better & better. She started to take tuition more seriously. Slowly their students started to increase. Then they even took one small place to start their classes. Anaya’s mom was observing this. Anaya’s mom was getting jealous. She was trying hard to irritate Nina but nothing was working. Psychiatric treatment taught her to handle. Slowly Nina began to get offer from other teachers who would like to join her classes to teach students. Her teacher took retirement. Then Nina began to recruit new teachers. One of them who helped her on every step finally sent proposal of marriage in her house. Anaya’s mom wanted her out of house so immediately said yes. Nina got married & went head with her life. She never looked back towards her past. She just looked towards future. Now her house had big book shelf. They all valued education. Since teaching was their main profession. Books are most important thing for them all.
